We had a great stay at the hotel, staff are quite receptionist, breakfast is well varied and a perfect location! The photographer of the Mana presented us with a boat with the family photo and we made a beautiful trial around the hotel with wonderful photos.

Reveillon of 2023 in Fortal was exorbitantly expensive, that hotel was the only one I found at a better price and that did not require closer a minimum daily package. For the photos I didn't expect much and was not connecting for luxury, but when I arrived at the hotel I liked what I saw. simple, but modernized, bathroom, clean, with careful and performing staff, good facilities, good room, good, silenceful and powerful air conditioning, a quite reasonable bathroom and a good acoustic isolation hotel, which has become important because the street in front is very noisy and there are some neighbors in the back street playing music in a terriblely high volume. Another point that was positive for me was the location. Ironically, many people may not like it, but for me it was good, it was going to walk the beach of Iracem, to the Pirate Bar, 3 squares from the center of the Dragon of the Sea, had supermarket, pharmacy, everything near, but far enough from the walled that was the wake, But for those who like the Orla craft fair, he is a little away: the negative points were breakfast, very weak in variety and quality, half bad bed in the room and the Wifi that was unstable and with very slow access.

Location and Access – The hotel is on a prime ocean front position separated from the Praia de Iracema by a busy road. Nearby are many similar high-rise hotels and residences. There are only very limited shopping, restaurant and bar choices within close walking distance. The nearest supermarkets are a 10 to 15-minute walk. Fortaleza centre is 25 to 30 minute walk. Airport is 25 minutes by car – but allow extra time due to a major highway construction project. Close to the Beira Mar with some interesting places and amazing street art. Uber can get you to most places safely and cheaply Google Earth – The hotel can be seen on Street View Architectural Style – A brutal high rise 23 storey building clad in blocks of smoked glass and black and white ceramic tiles I am going to divert from my usual review format as there are issues that have been raised by other commentators on TA which need a response and I think that the hotel management may be in the process of taking action to address these points Staffing and Hospitality – My first hurdle. I don’t speak any Portuguese. Before arrival email enquiries were responded to quickly, professionally and in English. Check in and Check out on 2 occasions went very smoothly and any requests dealt with satisfactorily including storage of luggage during a side trip to Brasilia. Door and security staff were always very welcoming. Housekeeping – invisible but excellent with room and public areas perfectly clean. Restaurant staff equally hospitable with the egg chef even taking time (as well as cooking) to write on guests’ egg orders “Tenha um bom dia – Luana!” Restaurant – Breakfast – Part of my stay coincided with Carnaval weekend when the hotel was full. During those few days the buffet breakfast was very busy and free tables were difficult to find. Despite this the buffet was always well stocked. Comments have been made in other reviews about the contents of the breakfast buffet. I have to say I found the variety and quantity of the international and local specialities on offer more than adequate and combined with eggs, omelettes and tapioca dishes cooked to order was more than sufficient to satisfy any appetite. I had dinner only once during my stay mainly due to the limited menu choice and prices higher than in other restaurants Public Areas – There is a small manicured garden at the entrance and a covered area with seating. The double height reception area looks to have undergone a recent renovation and you would hope to be a sign of things to come. On the ground floor is a well equipped Gym. On floor “J” (first floor) a small pool area, jacuzzi, sauna, play and games rooms. The whole of this area looking very tired and by the time of my departure the pool, jacuzzi and sauna had been demolished and were due to be replaced over a 45 day period 4 lifts serve all floors and I never had to wait more than a few seconds for one to arrive. O Alojamento situa-se bastante próximo da beira mar, permitindo uma melhor experiência do calçadão da praia de Iracema. Quanto ao hotel em si, alguns funcionários eram simpáticos, enquanto outros nem tanto, sendo bastante pouco flexíveis. O quarto, quando o encontrámos, estava sujo, cheio de pó e ainda chegámos a encontrar baratas. Já quando nos entregavam as toalhas, estas vinham normalmente encardidas e rasgadas. Quanto ao pequeno almoço, apesar de ser satisfatório, o hotel não conseguia acompanhar a reposição dos alimentos tendo em conta o número de clientes que estavam hospedados.

I stayed in this hotel for five days and finally was forced to change the hotel. The people in this hotel are very friendly, but the front desk staff can't understand English, let alone Chinese. I first stayed in this hotel for three days, and then because of business uncertainty, I booked it day by day. Two days before I left the hotel, the hotel threw out my things and put them in another room. I asked them why, they said that my room was reserved by someone else. This situation didn't even tell me.

Me hospedei agora em maio e queira destacar os principais pontos: Pontos positivos: - café da manhã muito bem servido, com boa variedade; - camas confortáveis; - ambiente limpo; - banheiros e quartos limpos diariamente; - localização excelente, perto de tudo (mercado, farmácia, praia, lojas, barzinhos, cafés e etc); - todos os voluntários foram muito cordiais, assim como proprietário Gean. Pontos negativos: - cancelaram minha reserva feita pela booking para que fosse realizada diretamente pelo hostel - SEM ME CONSULTAR, não sei se o motivo foi se livrar das avaliações ou para evitar pagamento da taxa, o que aconteceu é que já estava hospedada quando recebi notificação que a hospedagem cancelou minha reserva. Em contato com os proprietários que deram inúmeras voltas e não justificaram o motivo de cancelarem a reserva pela booking para fazer outra diretamente na hospedagem; - proprietária bebeu demais com outros hóspedes e saiu para balada, até aí tudo bem. Porém, a mesma chega 3 horas da manhã e liga som no último volume, sem a menor consideração e respeito com os hóspedes que não estavam na balada; - moça responsável pelo café da manhã às vezes é um tanto grosseira e mal humorada com os hóspedes e principalmente com os voluntários que o hostel hospeda, por diversas vezes vi e ouvi ela sendo grosseira com os voluntários, inclusive no meu primeiro café da manhã, penso que tenha me confundindo com um dos voluntários. Havia contratado um passeio para as 7:10, o café começa às 7h.... Cheguei na sala de café as 6:50 (já estava praticamente tudo pronto) e perguntei com a maior educação se poderia me servir antes, devido ao passeio, ela simplesmente me deu uma resposta áspera: ”não tenho autorização da dona para liberar antes”, isso praticamente gritando. E no outro dia a mesma senta na minha mesa no café e me pede desculpas! Desculpas aceitas, eu entendo e percebi que ela é a única ali para dar conta café e da limpeza e deve estar com sobre carga de trabalho, mas isso não justifica as palavras ásperas!

Exceptional officials. All cordial. Very clean, very good food. But we had a problem: with the strong rain the hotel was without energy. The generator was not enough for all rooms. We were unconditioned by 24h. We could not open the windows, because the generator is a little below us and the smoke generated by it entered our room. I asked the reception to change the room, because they had air-conditioned rooms working and said they couldn't; I asked a fan to sleep and they had no. Result: sleep (due to fatigue) at 2:30 a.m. with a humiliated towel on my body to try to threaten the heat.In the morning they would solve our problem, but we were already going away. I know that the lack of energy was not the fault of the hotel, but they could have put us in another room, because it was not stuck or then obtained a fan to avoid such disorder. The reception was with my number to the administration to contact via WhatsApp to try to compensate (through discount in the stay), but so far, almost a week later, they did not enter.

The perfect location for anyone going to a event at the Ceará Event Centre.It is 15 minutes from the road, and type 3 minutes from the Event Centre, along with the very persistent Iguatemi. The room was comfortable (i stayed in a executive room), with good cleaning and quality bed linen. cable TV, wifi, air conditioning ok.My reservation is in relation to the size of the bathroom box. I saw several comments from people who have already been home there, but I paid to see with my eyes, rs. The box is MINIMUM! I have no problem with small spaces, but that box gave me claustrophobia. And the water of the shower falls all widely, so it was impossible to take a bath with the open box. I took a bath at the hurry to get out there. I've got 1.57 and 60 kg, so if you're a big person, you'll have a worse experience. I asked for dinner to eat in the room and it took more than 1 h to arrive because the kitchen official was in rest time, even being 19h. But ok. Breakfast fat and varied, staff, modern building.

Tiny rooms with no windows and terribly maintained. The worst breakfast I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. Not only is the food bad, but the space is ridiculous, 6 tables in a 4 floors hotel hotel with 7 rooms each. Service is as bad as the rooms, I left a message asking them not to clean my room (there's no do not disturb sign) and when I got back, the room had been cleaned. When I asked they said they had to go in because of a leakage in the room next door. No one was able to explain why they had to make the bed in the process of cleaning the floor. The manager, of course, was not at the hotel and even after being asked to contact me, did not. I'm never coming back andif you're in the process of searching, keep looking. If you have already booked, I'm so sorry! Quartos minúsculos e sem janelas, péssimo estado de conservação. Pior café da manhã que já tive em um hotel não só pela qualidade da comida como pelo espaço, ridículo, de 6 mesas para um hotel com 4 andares e 7 quartos por andar. Serviço péssimo, deixei avisado que o quarto não devia ser limpo, e eles entram e remexeram tudo. Pedi pra falar com o gerente que, claro, não estava no hotel, mas mandou recado pela recepção dizendo que entraram no quarto devido a vazamento no quarto vizinho. O motivo pelo qual fizeram a cama e recolheram o lixo, mesmo só tendo entrado para secar o vazamento, segue um mistério. Se você ainda está pesquisando onde ficar, continue procurando. Se já reservou, meus pêsames.

I have been loyal to that hotel 3 times in a row. But my last experience, during the pandemie was HORRIBLE. A CUT OF AC FOR 3 1/2 HOURS, WITHOUT WARNING, TO SAVE MONEY BECAUSE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE. Nobody told me this; I asked why, I got reasons all as fanciful as each other!THE TRUTH, BEFORE LEAVING. If you can t afford to look like a 5 stars hotel, don t pretend it with the rate! The cherry on the cake was a morning, because everything was so old-in terms of food, to find some eggs of cockroach eggs in corn flakes- i do have substantial proofs, pixs, videos, & more.... The owner Fernando had the audacity to talk to me nicely about the situation-not to eat french fires in order to have clients satisfied- EXCUSE ME, it's normal! it's not a favor(maybe Brasil, not anywhere else, travel Dear!) I paid, and got expulsed, because too demanding????- in a middle of a pandemic!!, to satisfy the little ego and unprofessionalism of that owner who makes you think he is rich-quite the opposite!.... (He didn t speak english well, -not his fault, but that s ok.) His action was almost criminal. To expel people in the middle of a pandemic in a dirty, unprofessional way, who pay a 5 star (but in fact, it is only 1 and a half star) and who have asked for explanations.

THE WRONG IBIS. Be careful as there are two IBIS Praia de Iracema. This time I booked the IBIS BUDGET by mistake. Didn't like it at all. Snack bar has very little to offer... breakfast is very limited... no frigo bar... shower is next to bed so you step out onto bedroom floor with no bath mat. Although it is well located, walking distance to the beach, beira mar nd many places, the room was not as I expected. I was told it has a partial kitchen in the room, so I could make breakfast. To my surprise there was nothing when I arrived. I asked for a coffee maker and a microwave, but the told me they only have a heater and pans. I explained them I just wanted something to make coffee, they told me I could have breakfast at the hotel with a cost of 33 Reales, which was not my idea. I could never reach the supervisor neither on the phone nor personally. After 2 days RCI contacted then, the night before my ckeck out I found a coffee maker in the room. By that time I had spent 260 reales having breakfast at a nearby bar with my husband.(which I really like to have a compensation) On the other hand, the room was always clean, the shower was very powerfull, and the bed confortable, but only one night table at the room, I had my suitcase in replace by my side. Due to all these, It is a pity, but I won't come back and I don't recommend it.

Lobby service was good, but after request for room change the service changed a little. The first room that they put me had a door from another room to that one, closed only by the other side, dark room and smelling mopho. The next room was very good, with super cleaning ok. Location in the area of ruins with many chemical dependents, making the night walk dangerous, but during the day it is OK to go to the square that is 2 quarters.

We stayed at the Vila Galé in Fortaleza this summer. We were looking for a hotel close to the beaches and the city, and with a good affordable price. Already with food included and room service, and we couldn't miss the pool. And we couldn't be happier with our experience. It’s a four-star hotel,from the pictures we were expecting the building to be modern but in fact it has a very rustic style inside. One thing that surprised everyone was that the rooms were very large and comfortable and the bathrooms were also very large. Besides, the service is super good because there people are super friendly and funny. However one thing that should improve is parking because one of the parking is private and the other is shared with the hotel in front, and the convenience stores inside the hotel were not good because there were no things that should have (like slippers and swimsuits), not just souvenirs. This hotel is obviously not that cheap, but it is worth the price because it is a very quiet place, very well located, with a beautiful view to the sea, with some very good foods and activities for children.This hotel is ideal for going with children up to 7 years old because it has many activities, and to go with friends too as it is cheap and quality. My final grade is 4 stars. Very good hotel !!!

I thought it was a apart hotel, but it is a normal residential building where the owner of the apartment has 6 apartments in the building to rent. So, when you stay at Atlantic Ocean Residence, you will feel like a resident because you often cross with residents, which, for me, is not a problem. The room is quite clean, well located and the kitchen looked well equipped, but as we stayed only one night, it was not possible to check the day if something was missing. The vacation in the garage of the building is quite easy for those who are renting cars. I couldn't connect to the wifi but it exists. The service of the owner Marcio is quiet and sympathetic.

O Alojamento situa-se bastante próximo da beira mar, permitindo uma melhor experiência do calçadão da praia de Iracema. Quanto ao hotel em si, alguns funcionários eram simpáticos, enquanto outros nem tanto, sendo bastante pouco flexíveis. O quarto, quando o encontrámos, estava sujo, cheio de pó e ainda chegámos a encontrar baratas. Já quando nos entregavam as toalhas, estas vinham normalmente encardidas e rasgadas. Quanto ao pequeno almoço, apesar de ser satisfatório, o hotel não conseguia acompanhar a reposição dos alimentos tendo em conta o número de clientes que estavam hospedados.

Hotel muito acochegante, Recepção grande funcionários sempre solícitos a ajudar staff maravilhoso, gostei de ter 3 elevadores espaçoso, e na cobertura onde fica a piscina tem uma vista maravilhosa onde se pode contempla um lindo por do sol,gostei do funcionamento da piscina se 24 horas bem como também o serviço de cozinha e o bar da piscina, achei esse quesito top das galáxias,a parte do open bar é lindo fora a vista que é plena, ficamos no 14 anda com vista para o Mar, apesar do Mar fica distante mas vale muito apena com uma mini varanda que dá pra tirar belas fotos, quarto pequeno mas nada que incomode, tem armário mesa de trabalho e achei engraçado o Lavabo fica dentro do quarto, mas não nos incomodou em nada, banheiro achei pequeno, mas chuveiro bom ar perfeito tudo funcionou direitinho, cama boa com certeza voltarei e curtirei a piscina pois como o tempo estava chuvoso não me atrevi a tomar banho ficamos só tomando uns Drinks no espaço que é acochegante e lindo, Café da manhã gostamos muito bem diversificado e sempre alguém fazendo reposição do que acabava, espaço do café bem espaçoso, o estacionamento é muito pequeno e apertado, tipo assim, quem vai de carro o ideal é tirar só qdo sair do Hotel(for embora) pois corre o risco de vc não encontrar mas vaga , apesa de ter um vigilante na rua para olha os carros que não conseque vaga no estacionamento, o ideal é deixa o carro quadradinho né!? , foi o que fizemos deixamos no estacionamento e utilizamos UBER, Tivemos um contratempo no nosso pedido do jantar , esperamos duas horas para sermos servidos, e não foi só com a gente tinha outras pessoas também inclusive algumas que até desistiram, nos falaram que na troca de turno de funcionários não foi passado nosso pedido para o cozinheiro qdo fui fazer o check-out relatei o acontecido e a Recepcionista deu a desculpa que faltou gente na cozinha, falei pra ela que costumo ver as avaliações de onde me hospedo e vi que demoras nos pratos são relatos constantes e isso já era pra te sido revisto pela gerência pois como eles servem 24 horas isso é inadmissível acontece frequentemente, pois às instalações são ótimas gostei demais, que melhorias sejam feitas referente a pedidos de pratos

I have been staying at this hotel for 20 years, and every year, the condition gets worse. The rooms are very old and tired and in need of renovation, as they haven't done anything to the rooms in the 20 years I have been going there. The swimming pool is not working and is closed, I was told that is has been out of commission for 7 months now, and they still haven't fixed it. But they will charge you extra for a room with a pool view that is closed, what a joke! They have now closed the restaurant, and they are now serving the breakfast in a back room on the floor above.The breakfast at the hotel was once good, but now they have cheaped out on everything with not that many choices, they even water down the scrambled eggs to a point that it is just a sloppy soup that you almost need a spoon to eat it with! There is always at least 1 of the elevators out of order, I was coming from the 2nd floor to the lobby when I got stuck in the elevator. The elevator was stuck about 3 feet from the lobby floor and had no ventilation, I tried to push the alarm button, but it didn't work, and there was no telephone in the elevator either to alert someone that I was stuck in the elevator, which was a little scary! I managed to pry the inside door open and noticed the cables that carry the elevator from floor to floor were in very poor condition and frayed, just an accident waiting to happen. I found a latch on the outer door, and I was able to pry that door open just enough to squeeze through and jump down the 3 feet to the lobby floor. I told the guy at the front desk what had just happened, and he was on the telephone right away, calling someone. I went to the store, which is 3 doors down, and I was back within 10 minutes. He informed me that the elevator was now fixed, and they had a company come in and fix it, I said in 10 minutes? He just shrugged his shoulders! The elevators have not been inspected and in need of maintenance, and they are very dangerous. I will never return to this hotel again, and I would recommend that if you are planning to visit Fortaleza, you look for a different hotel. There are many nice hotels available in the area, but this is not a nice hotel by any means!

Location - The place is located in front of the beach of the Futuro, which is great day, because it has several famous barricades that gives you to walk, but at night it is desert and the residents disadvise walking around - either on the edge or on the back street. It is worth noting that there is no easy access pharmacy in this region. It has a 24-hour box (ATM) inside Crocobeach restaurant, which works over the day. Otherwise, there is no other place near to get money. Structure - As several previous comments here, the hotel really needs a reform. The accommodation is very small, with old structure. The window in the room was open to the garage - super-moving and noisy, both by guests and by suppliers. As tb commented the room is well swallowed, there is a lack of real ventilation, which makes it impossible to spend a lot of time inside - you have to spend the night and go to the street day. The hotel has a freezer with beers, refrigerators, water, dishes, etc in the reception, which can be placed on the room's account. The hotel restaurant serves the lunch orders in the evening (there are pizza, tapioca, omeles, etc, prepared at the time). The breakfast was very reasonable. The feeling was that the salts were from the previous day and the fruit were cut down there. The hotel has a small, beautiful swimming pool. The outdoor has a bathroom to take care of that area of psychiatrics. If you want to be quiet, without swallow, ask you to put you in some higher floor - although you have no lift, it will be worth it for the noise that the ground has (mainly for the transit of officials and guests between garage and reception/kitchen, Finally, for anyone who wants to spend a weekend on the beach, go out to other neighborhoods and stay as little as possible in the hotel, valley. If it's about to spend several days and with more than two people, they'll choose another.

Hotel excelente. Não hesitem em escolhê-lo para se hospedar. Os quartos são estilo flat, possuem sofá, pia, guarda-roupa, frigobar, varanda e banheiro. Instalações boas, dois elevadores com cartão de segurança. Café da manhã excelente e ambiente aconchegante. Funcionários muito profissionais. Quartos muito limpos e com uma vista linda da praia de Mucuripe. Localização excelente a meio caminho do mercado de peixes e da feirinha de artesanato. Vale muito à pena!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were all amazing, all of them were happy to go the extra mile for you whatever the request, in perfect English no less. The facilities were great, although the pool area could get a little crowded on busier days. The rooms were very spacious, the air conditioning was extremely good, although the decor was a little dated. Room service food wasn't great but when is it ever? A great location, right across the road from what felt like one of the safer areas on the beachfront.
