We had previously booked a meal at the hotel restaurant and chose to enjoy it after check-in, the restaurant staff did not have this information and did not know how to conduct the service. The service was poor, the main course took a long time, the salad came without sauce, the dessert which was a mousse was frozen and the staff were impolite. In addition, the entire building smelled strongly of frying during the first day and, if I am mistaken, the benefits of my Gold ALL status were not fully available.

In my view, if you can add the costs of parking and breakfast can stay in a hotel well better with this value!! I didn't find a good cost x benefit! TB reception officials could be more sympathetic, Like the male dry staff!

It’s an Ibis Budget and it stands to the brand, if you ever stayed in other Ibis hotels you know what to wait for! For those who have never stayed keep in mind that this hotel offers smaller bedrooms, I really don’t care depending on the kind of travel I’m taking, and in this case I just needed a clean bed and bedroom and this hotel offers this! The only problem I found was that there were no power outlets next to the bed, so I needed to charge my phone away from me. The breakfast was good and the service upon arrival was absolutely excellent! I would definitely return for the cost-benefit!

Rooms have lovely views and breakfast is excellent, although 1 day of the 5 we stayed they did struggle a little to keep up with demand. Best part: The pool! Great to finally have a outdoor pool with a view in the city! They do need to have some umbrellas though as it is South facing and the sun is relentless. Especially a concern with young children. Also the floor in the pool area is extremely slippery when you have wet feet. There is also a top quality shopping mall on site with some fabulous food choices. Staff were very good indeed! My only gripe was they ran out of English Breakfast Tea Bags so I had no tea for the last 2 days... but that's my own fault for being English!

It is an excellent option for those who seek peace and rest because they are very quiet allies with a little moved neighborhood. What can improve: the gym school is small and little diversified in appliances and for who has the Radisson Rewards program they are facing some difficulties to insert the customer score - that happened to me, then be careful - It's a good thing.

|1.27km from city centerWhen I called and asked about the parking, I was informed that the hotel offered 6 free vacancies in front of the hotel, and I agreed with the open parking next door. But if you need to get out of the car, you will have to get to the parking stay and, when you come back, you will have to take a new ticket, paying another use of the parking, which was not reported by the attendant. In the case I paid 46 reals in parking, not compensating the value of the accommodation, because I had to leave only once. For those who go by car and need to locomote in Porto, the low cost of the hotel ends up, in the package, more expensive than in other hotels in the region.

We have been in this hotel several times, and until then we had only praises to do ... but this night from 08 to day 09/07/2022 was a real nightmare ... when we were lying in bed around 00:00: 30 I realized that you connected a noisy engine with a bulb bulb hitting ... that stayed for 2 or 3 minutes .... impossible to sleep with it ... I turned off the air conditioning think it could be our air ... I slept again ... 15 or 20 minutes after more 2 or 3 infernale minutes ... 15 or 20 minutes of silence and ... 2 or 3 minutes of very noise again ...e so happened hours on wire ... if you had been stepped up the car in a fuel station and sleeping ... would have been better.

|1.65km from city centerThis is clearly a hotel that tries to provide a superior experience to the guest – fantastic location; very good, very well maintained room; very kind and attentive personnel; a pair of courtesy water bottles; Nespresso machine in the room... And then, everything is put to waste by a barrage of small but VERY annoying details: You arrive from the airport (counting on going to your room's restroom as soon as possible); receive your key; it works in the elevator... but not in the doorlock. You go back to the reception desk and the (authentically sorry) receptionist provides you with 2 keys, just in case (it is clearly a very common occurrence). It works, this time. Next day – not your last day of stay – you return from the workday and the keys (both of them) do not work again! Meaning it is not a problem with the keys but either a software or a human problem. When you finally get to the room, good luck if you want to call reception. Although there's a ”trendy” little prism over your bedside table informing the name of the cleaning lady of your room, there's nowhere you can find out the front desk number – it's not 0, 9, 1, * or # (it's *1, which I'm now informed is a standard in Porto Alegre; but then again, guests are usually from other places, right?). You finally get to talk to someone in the front desk, that informs you that there's no login or password to the wi-fi; you just have to fill up a form and will be logged in. You fill up the form (lots of info requests, including ID number, email etc.). Hit the ”Login” button. Comes a window: ”please check the 'accept conditions' box before connecting”. The 'accept' box is bellow the the login button AND bellow the screen line. Not only this, but all the (excessive) info you had typed in is lost – all the fields are emptied and you have to fill them up all over again. Time to checkout, it is 10:16 am and you want to have a cup of coffee before leaving. The breakfast ends at 10 am exactly and the coffee jars are probably the first to be taken away. You mention it to the checkout clerk and she gives you a free welcome (in this case farewell) drink voucher and you are able to ask a cup of espresso in the bar. This last event synthesizes the experience in the Quality Hotel: lots of effort to compensate for frustrations that could easily have been avoided in the first place, with a modicum of attention to the customer experience. I hope this feedback helps them do exactly that.

|3.75km from city centerI reserved (and paid) for a room with sound treatment and I still asked (already booking) for a silent room. I received a reply confirming the availability. The receptionist smiled at my arrival, and said to me, I will give a quiet quarrel and she gave me the key of 506. One minute in the room was enough to hear buzins, engines, speeches ... looking at everything, there was no acoustic treatment. When I complained, the other receptionist reported that the silent rooms were final 1, 2 and 3. Then they gave me the 707 saying that it would not be possible to give me what they had promised (a quiet room). The 707 had a sound window, though not so silent, but what revolted me was the attempt to push me a bad room saying I would be in agreement with the promise. The hotel is clean, but it could improve a lot. The suggestions are left: headlight is not to illuminate the whole room or to dim who is lying; the garden must have a size that is suitable for the window (it was insufficient in height and width to prevent natural light from entering); the possibility of regulating the shower temperature is welcome (no matter qts times it is adjusted, it is switching from ice to suddenly boiling); a hair dryer that works beyond the ”low” (which had neither dried nor my hair, which is very short); a fresh (or at least hot) bread in breakfast and cold and cheese cut less grossly would be good (even keeping only one cheese and two colds). The lift works well and staff were very sympathetic, but nothing deletes the impression they tried (with much sympathy) Push me a room that was not the promised.

|7.11km from city centerWe visited this same hotel last year and wrote a 5 star excellent review. Things changed and not for the better. Our week long stay was not entirely enjoyable. While the hotel retains some of the quality, the quality of service and room standards has gone down noticibly. Specifically, wait staff is not attentive as before and even during non peak dining hours, wait times for the first greeting and offer of a drink were long. The food was well done but taste varied between lunch and dinner, dinner being the better meal selecting the same dish. We asked 3 times for the room to be cleaned while we took a break from work. The room was not cleaned when we returned. After ordering room service, tray pick up took 3 hours. Then, when we called back to insist they remove the tray, the restaurant called our room within 5 minutes to find out where thier coffee and not milk thermos was and insisted on knowing exactly what was in the room still. We felt like inmates rather than guests. The room we were in for a week was nothing like the room on the same floor on our first trip. Cheap artificial wood TV shelves replace beautiful dressers and the room felt like a holiday inn rather than an elegant hotel like our last trip. The highlight of our stay was Rosemarie (we think) in housekeeping. She's a delight and obviously a remanent of the old days. Alberto and Taylor in the dining room were the only waiters who made us feel comfortable. One waitress moved around so quickly, we were holding our glasses to be sure they were not taken. Very nervous way of serving tables. Another waitress took so long to serve us with guests, I had to get up 3 times to find help. The bell captains were also excellent and helped greatly. (Maybe they should be put in charge of the front desk and dining room!) If you need to stay in Porto Alegre, you'll want to stay here but be prepared and if you stayed before as we did, prepare yourself for the changes in room quality and service level. Not sure what happened but it's not the same place anymore.

A hotel with tradition that has been in time and now, in my opinion, decadent.
I will never be home to this hotel anymore.

The hotel is very beautiful, has panoramic lift, library, swimming pool and a terrace near the restaurant with views of the city. Our room was spacious with a separate kitchen/room, with a large socket and view to the city, I found the cleaning ok, good bed and good shower. We asked for dinner, a chair with a dressed mass, and it was excellent, I recommend: breakfast is very good for cheese bread, fruit salad and tea, the items are of good quality, but could have more variety, mainly for cakes and breads.

Long-distance buses are the main means of transportation from the state capital to the cities in various regions. There are some clocks in the lobby that look like some ages and look very good. The reception English at the front desk was not bad in Brazil, and the service was very warm. The room is neat and tidy. Breakfast is on the back of the three-way, more typical Brazilian breakfast.
