The positive things: Good location, 5 min walking from metro. Great breakfast, more choices than usual for vegans Friendly staff The linnen was clean Not so positive: Room is pretty dated and has carpet, which doesn’t look clean at all. They made an effort to have nice decor but it’s not enough to hide that it’s all a bit worn and dirty. Security could be better. There is no lock on the inside of the door of the room. To get to the room, you have to pass 2 doors with a keycard, these were unlocked or even wide open on lots of occasions. I put a chair and bags in front of the door at night. You can also hear the locks of nearby doors opening, so this made me a bit more on edge, as it sounds as if someone is coming in your room. I did not sleep well at all (also because the bed is very soft, which I personally don’t like). There is no refrigerator but there is a big ironing board and iron in the very small area that is supposed te be your ‘closet’. Don’t need an iron, do need a refrigerator. There is no thermostat and it was very hot in the room. Had the window open whenever we were in the room, also at night. On the bed there is only linnen on the topper and nothing covering the side of the boxspring. There is very little room in the bathroom to put your stuff. The curtain is too small so you can not make the room dark at all. At night there is also some light that comes in. For reference: I stayed in room 518, overlooking the courtyard. It seems as if there are also newer rooms in a different hallway on this floor, I am not sure how many of the rooms are of this poor quality.

This good-value hotel is set in a 19th-century building, 10 minutes’ walk from shopping and entertainment at Hötorget and Drottninggatan. It offers soundproofed, compact rooms without windows but with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi. Guests are welcome to enjoy free coffee/tea at the sister hotel Rex Hotel, located upstairs, where breakfast also is served. Numerous restaurants are found nearby, and staff are always willing to make a recommendation or booking. Gym and sauna facilities can be used at a sister hotel across the road. Hotel Rex Petit is just around the corner from Rådmansgatan Metro Station, which is 3 stops from Stockholm's Old Town.

We stayed in the Hotel Birger Jarl in Stockholm in a Junior suite room. The room was big and spacious. The small entrance hall had some storage space, minibar and coffee machine. This then led to a seating area (with double bed sofa) and a separate sleeping area containing a comfortable double bed. Breakfast was standard Swedish selection of hot food, cold cuts and breads - included in the price. Service was polite and helpful and we were impressed with the parking garage beneath the hotel. Lots of spaces for electric car charging (both Tesla chargers and others) and the cost of parking included charging. The location is great, it was a good stay and we will stay here again!

Nice staff, good breakfast, clean room. BUT we are all tired from lack of sleep. It was in the low 80sF during the day and cooler at night. But the room basically has no Air Conditioning. There is a button you turn on and the cool air comes on for a couple minutes. Then nothing! It doesn’t cycle back on at all. So unless you get up very often during the middle of the night to press the button, it gets quite warm. We opened the window, but it was very loud, especially rooms that faced the street. Then bugs came in the windows. So we closed the windows and slept poorly. I had a polite conversation with the front desk and they simply said it was warm weather. After being in a home with no AC, we were excited to sleep well, but no such luck. Surprised a Bonvoy hotel has this issue. We had multiple rooms so spent a decent amount for poor sleep. That said, most of the year this is a non issue as it is cooler.

The location is really good, but there are few toilets. And the roommate who happened to have a loud nose thunder, deafening all night, and couldn't sleep well. And no hair dryer had to be borrowed early from the front desk as it closed at 8 o'clock.

It's the best. Hotels, cafes and restaurants and grocery stores were all in the same space. Cleanliness, kindness, atmosphere, lighting, location, quiet. Black coffee and water that you can always drink. And hot water... There is also a microwave so it is easy to eat bowls, instant rice and soup. There are rooms on the first basement floor. The entrance and exit are pretty and warm colors. The more time I went, there was no inconvenience in my habit. Each hallway has lights and picture frames installed on each wall, so it feels so sloppy to see the picture..^^ It's a great place to have free black coffee and listen to music at the cafe on the hotel entrance and enjoy coffee comfortably. Buffet breakfast is full of taste and attentiveness. The menu is also varied. The next morning, I went to the sense of taking yogurt and disposable wooden spoon sets and napkins instead of breakfast that I couldn't eat at check-out ... really the best 👍👍👍 It is a hotel that I want to come back. I want to inform my friends widely.

We booked at internet 2 standard rooms, queen bed, 4 nights. When we arrived, we have got 2 little spaces, 12m, under the roof in the attic. In half the room, you could not stand up under the roof. The bed was 1.40x1,9 m, only accessible at 1 side, no ponde in the front because off lac of hight. The head of the shower was max at 1,75 m, also because of the roof, in a bathroom of 2x1 m. To open the window i had to climb on the chair to reach the lock. And this space was rented to us as a room for 2 persons. At night , al night, there was the noise of running water in the pipes of the heating and the whooshing of al the ventilation pipes on the roof. We tried to sleep there for 1 night, impossible. Next morning we demanded to see someone from the management to complain but no one was available. Then they offered us 2 other rooms, on the second floor, same size of bed, a little larger, a lot higher, same price and our problem was solved. Why do they try to rent such little spaces in the attic as standard double rooms? If they had given us the right rooms the first day, our visit would have been perfect.

Very friendly welcome. It explains where the breakfast is and asks when room service should clean the room. Doesn't happen automatically or every day. Beautiful hotel building, located in the city center. Our room has a balcony facing the street and is located on the fourth floor. Summer is not suitable for sensitive people because you have to ventilate, but tuned vehicles that often go through the city all night can become very noisy. Nearby clubs and bars play good bass on Fridays and Saturdays. The windows were closed and it was quiet. Unfortunately, our room had a dirty carpet, smelled of old damp socks, and the windows had to be kept open. The size of the double room is okay. Comfortable bed. Clean sheets. There are few channels on the TV, and the remote control is dirty and sticky. The bathroom is large and the shower leaks, so the whole floor is always wet. There is a lot of mold in the shower room, not to be missed. Unfortunately it was not cleaned properly. Only from the made-up bed can you see room service including room service. The bathroom was neither cleaned nor vacuumed in the room. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in the area. The next subway station is about 10 minutes walk away. Remember, Stockholm is hilly and the sidewalks are not always flat. The hotel has a Chinese restaurant that serves breakfast. The breakfast buffet is poor. Slice sausage, cheese, jam, bread, rolls. Well, the hot sausages and scrambled eggs are always moist and not well done, not particularly like the meatballs of La Cote Brar. At least apples and bananas have to be taken away. Bottom line: I have seen several hotels and know the price range. In Stockholm, you must make sure that the hotel has windows! If the carpet is clean and smell-free, and the bathroom is clean, I will give 8 out of 10 points despite the large amount of breakfast and poor breakfast, so it is only 3/10 left and it is not recommended.

The hotel is very close to the subway station and is five minutes away. Breakfast buffet is the same thing every day and there are not too many things to eat. But really recommend mini croissant! Delicious! The hotel should have too few facilities, the room is not convenient without refrigerator and dumplings, but in the lounge there is a microwave and drinking water place. My room is so remote that I have to walk a long way to drink water every time I want. The ground floor was a bit too old and the walls were beginning to look disrepaired. Staff would like to clean only once knock on the door and immediately open the door to come in, even the reaction time did not ⋯😱 Is the price not too high, or is the price too high in Sweden? Always feel not worth it.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights from the 3rd-6th June 2022’ Room- When we arrived into our room, it had a very comfortable double bed, sofa bed, good sized TV, good sized bathroom and plenty of charging points to charge my electrical items. I also liked all the Nordic toiletries and the design of the room. Facilities- Whilst at the hotel, we had breakfast in the main hotel restaurant.- Lykke. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of continental items (meats, cheeses), a few hot items and a good selection of breads and pastries. As this hotel offers free breakfast with their room rate, I felt the breakfast offering was very good at this hotel. On our first night, we had a few drinks in the hotel bar and it had a good selection of local beers and Gins. Location- This hotel gets a 10/10 for location- It’s near all the major sites, attractions, shopping etc. The hotel is next door to the Stockholm Central station where you can catch the Arlanda Express to the Airport. It takes around 18 minutes and trains depart every 20 minutes. The Gamla Stan (the old town) is around a 20 minute walk from the hotel and there’s plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. If you love ABBA, you should go to the Abba Museum. The Museum is located on the Djurgarden island and it’s around a 35 minute walk from the hotel. Alternatively as Stockholm is surrounded by water, you can easily pop on one of the ferries to the other islands. The ferries are frequent and are reasonably priced. I would also recommend going to the Vasa Museum. It’s about a five minute walk from the Abba Museum and it’s very interesting learning about the history of the boat- It was epic. Lastly I would recommend doing a Archipelago boat trip around Stockholm. The tour takes around 2-3 hours and costs around 345 SEK per person. Dining- Stockholm is also blessed to have a great number of restaurants in the city. If you are interested in looking for a yummy informal Nordic meal, I would recommend going to Bistro Bestick. The restaurant is around a five minute walk from the hotel and the food is fabulous- You should try the******** Loin and the Truffle Crème Burlee. If you are looking for a contemporary modern restaurant, I would recommend going to Rolfs Kok. It’s around a 12 minute walk to this restaurant from the hotel. Whilst the food is pricey, it’s definitely worth having at least one dinner here. The food is wonderful and you should try the Beef Entrecôte and the Ox Cheek- It was so good! Overall, I loved my stay at the hotel & Stockholm and if I ever came back to this city, I would consider staying here.

The hotel is located right in the main pedestrian street. The room we had was neat, beds were pretty comfy as well and there was no noise heard from the street even though we were staying in a room on the first floor. The breakfast was basic continental one. They will also pack you a breakfast to go if you leave early (we got a a couple of sandwiches and a few apples). The reception staff is nice and helpful (especially Nick). I will definitely stay there again during my next city break in Stockholm.

Hotel is literally across the road from the train station, the Arlanda Express runs constantly and you buy tickets from yellow machines easily in the Airport. It is direct to central station in 18 minutes. The hotel is a historic building and has kept its charm and character, The staff were friendly and helpful and checking in was easy. The room was on the small side but was clean and comfortable, I'm not going to pretend it's 5* or anything....the decor is playing to the vintage to be generous, electronics are not new and the rooms are very basic. Biggest drawback was having no safe so had to carry valuables with us at all times. Like most hotels now, a double is 2 single beds pushed together and separate quilts, pillows were small also. Door keys are actual keys which should give you a good image of the place. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of dietary requirements, it's held in the attached Belgian beer restaurant so if you like your beer then this is the place for you. Location is central but it's difficult considering Stockholm is lots of islands. Most attractions are walking distance however Drottningholm Palace is a £20 Uber ride. The Sky View is also a cab ride but most are an easy reach. Now that your expectations are set correctly I wish you a pleasant stay.

It was a bit wrong that there was no window in the room, but there was no smell and the room was quite neatly maintained. Breakfast is good and tastes good. Considering the price of Northern Europe, it is a place where you can stay at a good value for money.

The Scandic Upplandsgatan is a hotel with good location but this is way more expensive for the price we pay. The rooms are super small and after paying this much, there could have been a room size where you can at least have a chair to sit. The room doesn't have a chair to sit and there is hardly any space in the room besides the bed. Once you are in room, the only option you have is to lie down on the bed as there is absolutely no other facility and not a chair even where you can check a simple email on laptop. The rooms don't have cupboards for clothes hanging and you have to hang them on the walls around you. I find my stay super congested and was not comfortable at all. The only good thing is the location as it is located at a good location where it is accessible to go shopping and central station.

I was pleasantly surprised by the free laundry. Metro station was really very close to the hotel so it's very easy to reach any needed Stockholm point. Small kitchen had all needed equipment to cook some food. Perfect views of city through the window. A big minus - untidy half cleaned rooms. After all I would come back here one more time again.

We were booked for 3 night at this hotel, 17th-19th. Room was miniscule, the air conditioning was centrally controlled and were were profusely sweating.. Ultimately they provided us with 2 fans. The telephone was not working. After a lot of protest, the hotel people promised a better room the next afternoon.. But by the time we returned back to the hotel the following day we were not only too tired to shift but had already spread out . The housekeeping staff forgot to clean our room.. The breakfast spread was okay.. Only thing going for the hotel is it's location.. The Arlanda Express and the Central Station is very near. The Hop on/Hop off buses ply from just outside the hotel. Plenty of food outlets outside.. The people at the reception only expressed regret for their shortcoming. Didn't enjoy our stay there at all..

Here’s an honest review 🏨The hotel is supposed to be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️star but it didn’t feel like one. Below are the reasons why⬇️ 1. The rooms are not sound proof. We can totally hear noises from outside and upstairs people banging the door (even though windows are totally shut). 2. They did not have complementary water (which I believe all 4 star hotels should provide). They only gave us after we called them the next day. 3. No slippers provided too, until we called and asked. 4. The shower and bathtub aren’t separated, and it’s slippery. I fell and hurt my elbow. 6. Lastly, I paid for a hotel where I can use their amenities for free (atleast that’s what I thought). Apparently, this hotel doesn’t allow their guests to use the pool and gym for free. You need to pay to get access. (300SEK = 200¥+) Such a disappointment! 🤬 It felt like I was ripped off 😔 On a good note, the location is great. 👍🏻 It is just a walking distance to everything like bus station, coffee shops, mall, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

BEDBUGS! To start with, we are aware this is not a 5 stars hotel and our expectations were not high. The breakfast was not the best but decent, the local staff a little unkind and rough, the shower curtain smelled bad. However, the real problem were bedbugs and the attitude of the staff after it was reported. We noticed insects in the room (we didn’t know at the time what it was) and I ended up being severely bitten. I reported this to the hotel by e-mail after I learnt what it is and after being examined by the doctor. I wanted to make sure they do something about that but they immediately replied there’s no way there are bedbugs in the hotel. Searching for bedbugs should take at least 1 hour (the insects hide) so there is no chance somebody even went to the room to check. I need to use ointment with antibiotics and do disinsection of my apartment in case I transferred bugs from that hotel. It is a costly and unpleasant process and the hotel’s attitude is unacceptable. I went through other comments on booking and we are not the first ones to report that. The personnel’s response is the same, though.

I booked a room with a bathtub for myself and my partner to enjoy a romantic weekend in Stockholm. A couple of weeks before arrival I purchased a bathbomb and sent an email to the hotel to ask about whether the room would include a single-use plastic bathtub cover for sanitary purposes. I was told that the hotel does not provide bath covers but makes sure that baths are thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Completely understandable. All good so far. However, upon arrival, I was bluntly told by a Mr Love that my room would in fact not include a bathtub since bathtubs are assigned randomly (this was not mentioned when booking the room). After telling Mr Love my concerns, I was rather rudely told to just accept the situation since the hotel was apparently overbooked anyway. The conversation did not lead anywhere and in the end it was suggested that it was my fault that I would not be getting a room with a bathtub. The cherry on top was that the room did not include toothbrushes and toothpaste even those items were promised: these items were brought to our room only after making a call to the front desk. Romantic getaway in Stockholm ruined by rude service and incompetency. Definitely will not be staying with Radisson again.

Well located hotel within short walk of central station. Check-in took forever with one of the two receptionists determined not to allow the other to upgrade my room due to them overbooking my room type. Rooms themselves are underneath the pavement/walkway next to the railway lines, with what appeared the majority of rooms having no window. Decor is pink and floral but not unpleasant. Bit noisy at night with a couple of doors closing hard and some noise can be heard through walls, however I wasn't disturbed by the train tracks. Only three channels on the TV worked which was annoying, especially as they would lose signal frequently. Breakfast was good, taking place in a funky room at the far end of the hotel with a decent selection of hot and cold food. Overall, will I stay here again? Yes. Will it be my first choice? No.

First, the location is fantastic. It's a short walk to nearly everything, several transit stops are nearby, and the most beautiful park is right across the street. We ended each day with a walk through this lovely park. Because rooms are small, I went with an upgrade to a ”deluxe double,” which was quite attractive and comfortable. Bathrobes were provided along with the more usual amenities: fridge, coffeemaker, decent sized cups & glasses. Bed was comfortable. Shower had very good water pressure and plenty of hot water. my only complaint is that the breakfast seemed rather low-quality. Baked goods and cold cuts were basic supermarket level. Fruits were either underripe or overripe. Breakfast was served in the street-level restaurant, which is kind of gloomy for a morning meal. These are all minor complaints--overall, it's a great hotel.

The rooms are perfect in terms of cleanliness and equipment, you are very comfortable there. Very well located touching the center of the city, to easily reach the places of interest to visit. The food is of high quality, very well made and the staff in the dining room, and throughout the hotel in general, are attentive and friendly. Very good organization and operation. A highly recommended option for those who want to spend a few days in Stockholm comfortably.

At the price I paid, I was a bit sceptical about this place until I checked in. But this was a sweet surprise. Built out of a historic building and on the fringe of Gamla stan this is an absolute steal and a hidden gem LOCATION: Located on the island of Gamla stan and easily walkable from all key points of interest DINE + DRINK: Free Coffee and refreshments are available at the lobby level all day long for guests. Ws quite surprised by the Excellent breakfast served at the restaurant. The spread was amazing and had everything from delicious pastries to gourmet Pies. Not the usual boring stuff! And they also accommodated all kinds of dietary preferences, including Vegan! ROOM: I stayed in Room 507, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random view of the building next door; SIZE: Very compact room, but good enough for 2 adults; AIR-CON: No Air conditioner, and can get pretty warm on hot days; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good quality cosmetics FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a basic range of weights and Cardio machines, which is a super rarity in the old town. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made me feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Low-speed Wi-Fi(up to 10 Mbps) that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages

A really good and clean apartment with all the ustensils that you need (hairdryer, dishwashing liquid, whasing machine, ...). Very spacious and calm, we had a good sleep. The apartment is near a tramway station (5 minutes), it's a very good location in 30 minutes, we were in the city centre. There is just an only little thing that was that there weren't a lot of informations about the dustbin of the apartment and it was difficult for us to find the location of the bin at the outside. However, in general we recommend this flat and this address.

We didn’t want a hotel for our stay in Stockholm so Sky Hotel Apartments seemed ideal. Overall we were happy with our stay. 10 mins into the centre (5 mins walk, 5 mins metro). Apartment was spotless. Wi-Fi was decent. Having the door keys on an app was good once we’d got the hang of it. Kitchen small but just about good enough to use (nb they provide nothing except a welcome hot drink and washing-up liquid). Basement laundry was great - and free - but you have to book a day or two ahead for a slot. The only real disappointment was gym. It’s two treadmills and a cross trainer in a room with a kitchen, and a Swiss ball in the corridor. That’s it. They have an arrangement for guests to use the gym next door for a fee, but inconveniently it’s only manned for about three hours a day in the middle of the day.

Stayed 3 nights, family vacation. I do NOT recommend this hotel to others! Noise from street at night (street cleaning, trash truck etc several times, each night) so we slept terribly every night. Extra bed for 3rd person was very hard/uncomfortable. During breakfasts, the staff was hustling and making lots of noise by setting up for lunch (which started as late as 1.5 hrs after breakfast was over!) and did not allow guest to sit where they wanted in breakfast room - not a nice experience at all. Questionable room cleaning: no spare cups, cleaner said cups in rooms were only hand washed in bathroom sinks by cleaners, and they did not seem clean. We had to hunt down towels and toilet paper, plus they had forgotten to supply bed and towels for third person in room upon arrival. Front desk staff generally not so service minded + not understanding/interested in being helpful - did not allow us to eat a sandwich in the lobby before departure ”because the hotel has a restaurant” - which did not open until 3 hrs later(!) Note 1: Short opening hrs for restaurant by lobby. Note 2: They do not control which person removes what luggage from luggage storage, so anyone could take what they want. Note 3: Fridge in (our) room was super tiny, with depth as narrow as a water bottle. Note 4: They might not pay attention: When booking, I sent a request + a question to the hotel; request was not taken into account and I received no answer to question. Location: Good area to stay in for family trip if want to include shopping, easy access to public transportation, walking distance to Gamla Stan and more. But would recommend other hotel in area, not this one. Overall: Not the hotel experience I expected from photos, info on hotel web site and prize. Will not return, and recommend the hotel to reevaluate some of its routines!

Loved this hotel!! Sofia was amazing and helped me when I got in and on my way out. While there Marie was also helpful! I was lucky enough that my room was ready before 3pm (check-in) and they let me in to change etc!!! Just a 10 minute walk from the Express Arlanda station, taxi ride if you have big luggage. ONLY 5 minute walk to the pier and many of the touristic options of boats and hop-on-off boats and buses there! The room was big enough for me because I was traveling by myself. With a big tv for nights in, room 14 has a huge bathroom if you don't mind having no windows and I didn't because I was mostly out and it's better for sleeping 🥳. Having two supermarkets within 5 minutes walking was great if you need something. The big church 3 minutes away has a coffee shop that is very good for relaxing in the patio area. There are always scooters and bicycles around to use in front or nearby. Come and enjoy this lovely city! The room has a small hair dryer, a kettle (coffee and tea), a huge tv, and very comfortable bed/sheets and towels. They offer liquid soap/shampoo in the shower and sink.
