Too to bottom the staff at this location is superb. Megan, Rachel and Cory are simply amazing. We hosted a job fair, came back and hosted on boarding and training and every step of the way these three have accommodated and helped us be successful. We signed an agreement to make this our hotel of choice while we open our new distribution center. It’s the little things that sets this place apart. Highly recommend this place. Clean, safe and taking the precautions during the pandemic.

The hotel was very clean to include our room. Great location not far from Carowinds. Breakfast was good considering Marriott has forced a scale back on breakfast items worldwide that many people do not realize are not the fault of the hotels. Sonja at the front desk was very pleasant both days I was there and easy to talk with. Her customer service was top notch! These days customer service lacks in most of the business we spend our hard earn money. You cant teach customer service, so thank you for a great stay.

We had to move multiple rooms due to roaches. 4 out of the 5 days we were there we experienced roaches in the rooms and hallway. The final night the whole hotel didn’t have any power. We understand that wasn’t the staffs fault but they were not considerate and did not help improve the situation and made sure we were aware they would not compensate for this in any way. We had to sleep in HOT rooms due to no power and all our food we had purchased spoiled. The hotel was not willing to assist with anything. We were not able to shower after we came back from the beach and some of our party had to pack their items in the dark due to a 6:00 am flight but the hotel was not helpful with assisting them with any flash lights or anything. The next morning we were getting knocks on the door by hotel management saying due to the power outage we had to leave. So we packed up all our stuff (we have an infant with us as well so we had quite a bit of luggage for 5 days) the hotel said we could go to a sister hotel down the street. We load everything up to go to the sister hotel just to be told we would have to double pay to be able to have a place to relax a few hours befor our flight (we also still needed to shower from the beach the day before). I wasn’t going to pay for 2 hotel rooms so we called the double tree to see if they would give us credit/pay for the 2nd hotel since they kicked us out and they tell us the power had just come back on. This whole experience has been the worst vacation I’ve ever had. Even though double tree said we had to leave due to the power outage there were still about 50 cars in the parking lot and nobody else was downstairs leaving, only us. The staff were all sitting around on the couches not even concerned about the guests.

5 day/4 night stay. The staff was SUPER nice and helpful!!! Before entering the room, you notice how after staff has cleaned and sanitized the room, the room is then sealed for no entry. I thought this was awesome. Due to COVID still rapid, it was nice to see they took EXTRA precautions to ensure Sanitation of the room and that fact that no one was able to enter the room after being cleaned. So you're guaranteed a clean, sanitized room without a question! The location is great/convenient. You're in a business area but slightly pushed back in the residential side of things. Super quiet and peaceful. Great area for walks/runs. Why a 4 star if so great? Well, the ice machine was on the first floor and I was located on the 4th. Plus the breakfast was not so great. No many options and the time Breakfast was served (could last at least until 10am). But overall I would definitely stay again, I'll just bring my own breakfast and ice bucket. Problem solved 😌 lol

I travel a few times a year, am a Hilton Honors member, and prefer hotels within the Hilton group. But I'm always willing to try out non-Hilton hotels, too! Pros - the hotel is safe, the front desk staff (Lolly and Phil) are genuinely friendly and helpful, there is complimentary gourmet coffee in the lobby, the room was clean, and the bathroom was nice and clean and stocked with Neutrogena toiletries. The Whole Foods in the next block helped me get healthy meals I prepared with the microwave in my room. The convention center is across the street. Cons - it is easy to miss the hotel from the outside, and the complimentary breakfast is starchy! In summary, I enjoyed my stay at the Home2Suites Charlotte Uptown. It is an excellent hotel with friendly staff, and I would stay there again if I had to return to Charlotte on business.

Both ladies who checked us in at the front desk were so friendly & helpful. We asked questions about where to eat & they reminded us that there was a free dinner in the lobby starting at 5:30pm. We thought maybe we would see if they meal looked ok & if there were good COVID safety measures in place. We were very happily surprised - dinner was small, but very tasty (BBQ pork, baked potato, green beans) the tables were cleaned, and the disposables gloves to use for the buffet were great. We even got a glass of wine with our free dinner - great to relax after a busy day so we didn't have to leave the hotel & try to find a decent restaurant at night.

Started off as a nice place to stay for 4 days of business in Matthews, but things changed. 1st breakfast morning I found the omelettes still cold even though they were in a warmer. 2nd day afternoon came to hotel noticing 2 windows were shattered and had no power to half of my room and no water. Called front desk for an update on status and was told there was a fire in the AM but no idea when things would be turned back on…this was 5:45 PM. 8PM called again and was told still no updates, then was told most guests were just checking out. Okay, time to regroup and called Hilton. Hilton found me a spot at the Garden so I packed up and left. I just can’t understand why there was no communication, no phone call, no message on room phone, no note left on door etc. most people can deal with occasional hotel issues if communicated with but this management team failed basic customer service. Btw, didn’t feel safe after the receptionist stated it was a guest who started the fire on the 2nd floor and shattered the windows, jumping over the front desk and yelling.

Look out for sticky fingers from the staff. I stayed at the Hilton Charlotte Executive Park hotel with my husband January 5-8, 2023. I stayed at the hotel to attend a work conference and my husband came along and we stayed an extra 2 nights to have a weekend away. I had a one night reservation for Thursday and a 2 night reservation for Friday-Saturday. When I checked in the front desk person asked if I had 2 reservations and I said yes. She then said ”Okay great, I'll check you in for both”. On Friday morning I was in the meeting room in the hotel attending my conference and my husband came downstairs to take a walk outside. While we were out of the room the housekeeping person went into our room apparently thinking the room was supposed to be cleaned. We had not checked out because we were staying 2 more night and all of our belongings were in the room. They wouldn't even let my husband back in the room even though all of our suitcases, medicines, and bathroom items were in the room. I had to leave my conference and check in again at the front desk. I'm even more upset because I had left my necklace that I'd worn the night before on the dresser/cabinet that is nearest the door and when we came back to the room that necklace was gone. I looked all around on the floor and it was not there. I reported to the front desk and the manager that my necklace was gone after the housekeeping person came in. The manager I spoke with said she would speak with housekeeping and get back to me. I have had no contact from the manager and no follow up. The only logical explanation is that the housekeeping person took the necklace. I am extremely disappointed in the service at this Hilton and will not be staying here again. The manager could have easily found out who had attempted to clean our room but she did not. My necklace was stolen from the staff at this Hilton and that is extremely disheartening.

Very disappointed in our experience at the DoubleTree. We are Hilton Honors members and have stayed at numerous Hilton properties all over the world. Would never return to this establishment nor recommend it. Checked in after at about 5:45pm on New Year's eve for a quick one night stay after visiting Charleston but flying out of Charlotte. Stopped in the room to drop our bags and then left for NYE dinner at the Capital Grill. While eating, we received notice our flight to Chicago was cancelled for the second time. We were frantically trying to figure out how to get home the next day and found a flight leaving in 90 minutes that had seats available. We left our unfinished dinner and drinks, rushed back to the hotel on Lime scooters, ran and grabbed our bags, ran to the car, and drove the the airport. While my husband drove, I was on the phone with the airline trying to book our flights since it was too close to departure time to be done online. We arrived and were able to secure seats and make it through security with about 20 minutes to spare. At that point, I called the DoubleTree to see if there was anything they could do since we would not be staying there. I spoke with Dina at the front desk who seemed very empathetic to our situation and said how sorry she was for us, how frustrating that must be ”honey,” etc, etc. She said that sadly it was too late for her to do anything and that if we would have stopped at the desk, she could have done something. I explained again we literally had no time to do that, and she said I could call Hilton Honors and they would likely take care of it. So, that's what I did. Hilton Honors rep was great and said it was the hotel's decision, so they would call them for me and I should stay on the line. Immediately, I felt relief. The woman I had just spoken with was kind and understand and would help us; I knew it. Sadly, I was very wrong. Hilton Honors said the hotel was refusing to credit us. I was so confused-why would someone make it sound like she was understanding and kind when in fact that was not at all the case? That is so completely rude and disingenuous. I chatted with another DoubleTree person at 1am that morning when we landed, and she gave me the name of the managers to call on Monday. Today, I called and asked to speak with the manager. I was not allowed to until I explained the entire situation. Again, I was met with empathy and understanding from a different employee. She listened and apologized and said she would speak with the GM and call me back. I just heard back from her and again, they are refusing to give us any credit back. Not the way a business should run and not the way Hilton Honors members should be treated. You are much better off staying at one of the other Hilton properties in the area. In fact, the Embassy Suites in downtown Charlotte was great to us when we arrived on Christmas night and stayed open later at the bar for us.

We love it here. The people, the location, it all. It’s off the beaten path LOL but it’s a great place. It’s safe and the place is super clean even before covid! The night time guy is sweet and last night he heard from my fiancé I had long hair and was in need of several bottles of sham and cond (they have Paul Mitchell) and when I walked through he held up a little bag so proud and said look I got this for you!!! After a month of pure hell at home dealing with my dad being in the hospital and physical therapy rehab, HE MADE ME CALM. ITS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT HUMANS DO FOR OTHERS THAT IMPACT US. The whole employee team here is nice and understanding even if you want to add on time or pay for more days. They cater to a lot of business clientele and also for play. This time we were passing through to the south for beach time. It is faster to go through Winston Salem but we just love the people of Charlotte and we make it our path instead! This time I also struggled to get ice into big water jugs and Ashley (unsure of her name exact name spelling sorry lol) cane to my rescue and ran to her housekeeping closet to hand me not one but three cups and ice bag to help me! That is the personal service here that I mean. We have stayed here five times since Jan 2019 and we will continue to come back! We even made it a point to come to concord mills for last Black Friday 2019 and spent thanksgiving here instead of up north in Ohio or West Virginia to escape that frozen white stuff (hate it🤫) lol. FYI cannot wait for the pool to reopen after this covid LOL. It’s closed to prevent germs and the gym also. If u want to feel like u belong and have one ounce of calmness during crazy times in the world, come here! ♥️

When I first walked in the hotel, I was nervous that it was going to be a little dated, as the main lobby has a fairly old style to it. This was an extended business trip (6 days) so my hopes had been a little higher that they usually are when traveling for work. Once your past reception, the rooms are very modern, with plenty of charging points and USB ports for plug free charging. The room was also very large, with 2 kingsize beds and a large bathroom. The staff are incredibly friendly, and really will go out of their way to help. Word of warning, they aren't the best at having guest parcels delivered, as they will store them in corridors and struggle to find them. I eventually managed to convince them to let me go ”back stage” and look myself, and I found my parcels in a corridor outside the mail room. The bar/restaurant at the hotel is well stocked, and the food is amazing. The choice at breakfast is also excellent, with the option of fresh made omelettes as well as the typical buffet. The hotel is linked to a YMCA fitness centre that is free for guests to use. It's a very modern gym with lots of cardio and resistance training equipment. They also have a large pool and sauna, as well as a half basketball court. Overall, an excellent hotel, friendly staff, and great facilities.

2 Beds in the room definitely not queen size and extremely uncomfortable. Morning breakfast bar was good with a variety of items. Staff/gentleman that checked us in was friendly and informative. Rooms a bit outdated and carpet has odor. We are Gold members that travel weekly & typically always have our ducks in a row….. however, that morning I accidentally left a cooler bag with medication/work supplies/engraved name in the refrigerator, I called later that evening & was informed no bag was in lost & found. Since their was someone else checked in room already they would check back tomorrow. 4 days later and still haven’t found it. Yes, my bad for forgetting the bag but I definitely had higher expectations of housekeeping staff to ensure belongs not left from one guest to next and that bags would be turned into office lost & found.

The best things about this hotel are that the staff is nice and the location is good. Otherwise, it is dated. Many things did not work (microwave, machines in fitness room). There was no guide to the TV. The beds are not comfortable. This is fine if you just need a convenient place to crash, but for me was not a value for the money. The pool is open, meaning anyone can come in so be aware of this. Also, I book Hilton for the confirmed connecting rooms which was confirmed in our reservation. Upon arrival though, we did not have connecting rooms. They put us next door to each other, but this was still extremely inconvenient with our family. We won't stay here again.

This was perfect due to its proximity to Spectrum Center. Once the valet took the car I didn't want to drive again so we were able to walk to restaurants and the Spectrum Center. There was sort of a crowd at 3 o'clock check-in time at the valet area and then the check-in desk. We actually had to wait about an hour for our room to be ready. The room was very nice though. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was really nice and clean. We were on the 11th floor, but could still hear the light rail train bell dinging. I recommend leaving the air running constantly to drown out the noise.

We are Wyndham Club Owners and were excited to try out more Wyndham properties on another road trip, this one through Charlotte. The inside of the hotel itself was nice, spacious, quiet and clean with a nice little restaurant and bar. The location of the hotel was not in a good area, and there were homeless and drunks loitering around the entrance area and parking lot. The reception had no customer service skills, yet the restaurant manager was very friendly (although clearly the kitchen was short staffed, which made for slower service and a few errors which he tired his best to stay on top of). Overall, this is a mixed review, as the bed was comfy, the room was pleasant, we slept well, we had a good breakfast the next morning, yet my husband does not want to return due to the location and the people wandering around near the cars.

Suite is well laid out - separate bedroom, kitchen with icemaker, fridge, microwave, dishes, large TVs in both rooms, nice walk in shower, king bed, excellent location if you are in the south part of Charlotte. Plenty of free parking, right on good access roads every where. Only advice - do not use hotels.com or other 3rd party booking agents because their no change/cancellation policies are atrocious. Call Staybridge itself. Free breakfast is well done, small gym, outdoor firepit, indoor pool. I have travelled a lot and this is a very good place to stay. Service is prompt, pantry on premises, shuttle. Friendly and helpful staff.

I had a flight cancelled and the airline reserved me a room here. Both shuttle drivers, the front desk staff, and the custodial employee on my floor were very nice. It was a pleasant stay under flight cancellation circumstances. My bed and the pillows were comfy and my room was clean. My only complaint was the tv wasn’t working.

Checked into the hotel has started off with bad front desk service right off the bat. Then when we got to the room our key card did not work, had to go back down to get it reloaded. Was told if you get it close to your cell phone it will deactivate. (One lady said she had to go down 3 times). The. We got into the room and it smelled like straight mold. Just a overall bad experience at this hotel. Will not stay here ever again. Coffee was good though
