Leuven

|0.59km from city centergreat hotel very close to all the attractions the room was a good size excellent bathroom with large walk-in shower the breakfast was ample and very filling plenty to set you up for the day the hotel was in a very quiet location and has a very large garden it would have been nice to have table service when the bar opens but alas it was just so nice to sit in the peace and profit from the sunshine the actual bar is in the old part of the hotel and was very cosy with a small courtyard to have drinks the staff were friendly hotel was very clean and i highly recommend

|1.01km from city centerPoor information level at the reception. Parked in the parking garage. Not a lot of parking spaces, small and difficult to park. The machine is on a steep ramp. You can park free just outside the hotel, but we did not get that information when we arrived. Located in walking distance to the city centre. Room is nice. Dinner was poor, go to the city instead. Breakfast average. Need some cleaning on the walls.

|0.78km from city centerWorst experience ever. Booked it for 2 nights. Dropped our bags and had to leave directly for another appointment. When we came back at the end of the evening we saw the poor maintenance and cleaning. Packed our bags and moved to a hotel which could help us out (after 23h). Next morning shot some photos of the appartments which are certaintly not fit to be rented out. After calling the assistance we handed in the Keys before check in time. Ultimately, only received back our rent for 1 night, not even stayed there. Explanation was that it could not be rented out for that Day (ofcourse not true because keys were handed in before check in time). Conclusion: zero understanding and in short they just scam people with renting out these dangerous ruins. Be warned and do not book with BE.housing.

|1.04km from city centerLocated next to the train station, the room I was in was from the train, but the cars and motorcycles passing by on the street were sometimes noisy. The hotel is very clean, there are no disposable toothbrushes and no electric kettle. The front desk service was very good.

|0.78km from city centerThe breakfast is relatively rich, with a lot of spread spread on bread, milk, coffee, and juice. The bread in the morning is still hot. It's great. The front desk service is good, although I live on the fourth floor but there is an elevator to worry-free the whole journey. The hotel has a hundred years of history and is worth living. Looking across it is the railway station square!

|0.28km from city centerPrima studio!

|0.82km from city centerExcellent communication and flexibility in booking and transmitting our unexpected change. A beautiful authentic room with excellent bed. Here you have been quietly sleeping and equipped wake up. And breakfast is great! The guest was friendly, charming and very attentive. If you want to stay in Leuven, I would always see if there is a room free in the Leuven Court, we're going to do that!

|0.8km from city centerWe stayed in room 11 which was in a quiet location behind, but two stairs high, no lift. The hotel is obsolete and the roomwide tape was dirty. The room itself had a seat including gaps and sticks, a lot of soft mattresses and an old sanitary. No extra kissing, very basic so. The price was low for the location and breakfast good, staff friendly but given the state of the hotel, not ready for repeat. The afternoon in the Klimp where breakfast was served was also underweared (not fresh, not tasteful and fritted!).

Leuven
|0.96km from city centerWe came from abroad due to a medical appointment with a specialist at the nearby University Hospital. The hotel is gorgeous, located within the compound of the old beguinage. Ample parking (paying). Very friendly reception. The rooms are modern, with an interesting semi-open design for the bathrooms. Amenities, at least in our executive room, were very pleasant. Due to the early appointment, we did not have breakfast, but it looks inviting and will try it on our next visit! The caveat is that the hotel does not have a restaurant (unusual for a 4* hotel) which is inconvenient if you have mobility issues. If you are fit, plenty of eateries can be found in the old town, only a pleasant stroll away. If you are up for fine dining, a haute cuisine restaurant associated with the university's Faculty Club is right next door to the hotel. All in all, an excellent experience, we will be back!

|1km from city centerI used to stay in a luxury hotel in Southeast Asia and felt very ordinary when I first stayed. It wasn't until I moved to the next ibis that I found out how luxurious this hotel is! Safflower needs a green leaf lining! Next door Ibis is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! No facilities, the beds are gray! breakfast! ? Laughing personally.

|0.56km from city centerI have stayed in the IBIS Leuven Centrum on business several times. The location is central, within walking distance from the train station and the town, along with the business district. The rooms are not large, but are a good size for a short stay in the heart of the beautiful city of Leuven. Basic and sleek design meets exceptionally clean presentation, and the service is excellent - friendly housekeepers too, and their standards are high. Breakfast is very good, particularly for the price point. The hotel itself is not noisy, but people coming and going can be heard (particularly if they are speaking loudly) and it is possible to hear the TV's from other rooms if their volume is on high, nevertheless the beds are VERY comfortable and I have always slept well here. I look forward to returning on my next trip.

|0.78km from city centerThis hotel has one star, but its breakfast is first class with a good choice of food to suit most people . the room was comfortable if somewhat basic there was some noise as its located on a square by the rail station but we slept well. staff very helpful ,it had a nice menu and two happy hours at the time of our stay. A short 10 min. stroll to the centre and from the stella brewery note that there are only tours on a weekend. we will return to this hotel again

|2.27km from city centerWe were 6 adults staying at the Lodge for a weekend to visit Leuven. The rooms were above the reception area and check in was very straight forward. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast with lots of variety. The staff were also very helpful in the bar area in the evenings. The hotel is a 25/30 min walk from the Oude Markt which was ideal for us. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Leuven
|0.35km from city centerWe are a group of 5 experienced Mexican travelers. Twice have we stayed at the ”Leuven City Hostel”, in order to catch the Rock Werchter Festival. The first one, 2 years ago, went well. The second one, was the worst experience of our lives. The morning of June the 30th, we were woken up by some loud bangs onto our room door: it was the Police. They were accusing one of our friends of having stolen an iPhone 6 from the restaurant in front called Sarah's where we had breakfast a day before. They claimed they had ”irrefutable evidence” in the form of video footage proving the felony. They were demanding to give the phone up or they would search the room. We were so confused and intimidated but we had nothing to hide so we cooperated. By that moment we were scared and anxious about what was gonna happen next. Our friend was in shock repeatedly stating she had not stolen the phone. I want to provide a little background about ourselves: we are respectful, working people. We don't need to steal nor does it match our morals. So we were shook. How did this happened? We carry newer and more expensive phones than an iPhone 6, we brought Nikon cameras, tablets and Nintendo Switch devices with us. It's stupid to think we will risk everything by stealing in another country. And then be stupid enough to steal at the place where we are spending the night! It doesn't make sense. During the search, the Police were realizing that the whole accusation didn't make sense either based on our belongings, we do not fit a criminal profile. Also one of the officers spoke Spanish and was secretly listening to our conversation which proved further we had nothing to hide. By the time they were done with the search, they didn't find anything (obviously) they proceeded to take our friend to the police station to make a statement. We agreed to meet them there. Here's where it got messier: The Police had left when the owner/manager came to us and started yelling at us. He went out of his way calling us criminals, liars, claimed we were dangerous and kicked all of us out or he would call the police again. He said we had 5 minutes to pack and leave. Can you imagine? 5 minutes? After the police search, all of our belongings were mixed and on the floor. We might have left some stuff behind we don't know it yet. We understand the position of the owner to make us leave because of the ”negative image” they were giving the other guests and neighbors by keeping us there, HOWEVER, he acted completely insane, rude and arrogant for an unresolved situation. It was truly scary. He was completely certain of our friend's fault and that was pretty strange. Now: we never doubted our friend, but we were taken aback by the fact that they had ”evidence of the crime”; perhaps she took it by mistake, I thought, or maybe they confused her very own IPhone 6S with the stolen one... Anyway we cooperated and left the place.. By the time we arrived to the Police station, we were

|4.08km from city centerFortunately I'm used to staying in Ibis hotels, and I carry my own power extension cord and 4 power outlets, because, like most Ibis hotels, also this one suffers from a lack of power outlets. There's one in the bathroom (for your shaver) and one in the room (nearly 3m from the bed). Unfortunately, no power outlets next to the bed. You don't hear the motorway, which is good. Noise from adjacent rooms is filtered less well. Also, free parking is available. Sleeping comfort is ok, TV screen is a bit small, but ok. Friendly staff ! Breakfast is ok (no warm food), no separate bar (seats in the lobby)
