Our room has two queen sizes (Queen size) and a sofa bed, which is also more spacious. There is a large free car park outside the hotel and parking is very convenient. The hotel facilities look quite new. The downside is that the noise in the room is a bit loud after the air conditioner starts. It is estimated that some people will be too noisy.

I travel to St George several times a year for work. I usually stay at the Hampton Inn because it’s closer to my meetings. As a Diamond member I stay exclusively at Hiltons and I wanted to try this hotel thinking it would be a bit better stay. Man was I wrong. The staff was friendly but that’s about it. The room was dated. The bed was very uncomfortable, and every time we turned the water on in the bathroom sink there was a strong sulfur(rotten egg) smell. The AC would randomly go off and the room would heat up to almost 80 then kick on. Seemed to always be people drinking outside the front door. The Hampton is cheaper and yet they still provide a free breakfast. Definitely won’t be staying here again. Seems like Hilton might be losing their touch. As other chains are adding to their loyalty programs Hilton is taking them away.

Needs better signage near the highway to let people know which exit to take. Conner was excellent by getting us moved when the air conditioner did not work properly. I think the hotel could do a better job when something is wrong with the room to give a free breakfast or other meal in the restaurant attached. I had to ask for that. We had another problem with the second room. Jeff the maintenance person came and got the issue in the bathroom fixed for us. I cannot say enough about these two people and their commitment to customer service. Jeff also brought us a snack for my grand daughter which was much appreciated. I am sure that was out of his pocket and my granddaughter liked it. Pool was pleasant. Restaurant was mediocre and the waitress had no idea what gluten free was or how to make substitutions to accommodate a person with dietary requirements. I would think training might come into play but... I am sure I do mot get paid to train the staff at restaurants, I should!

Havent had luck at marriott properties lately but not here. Got a very friendly and energetic greeting from Heidi during my check in. The ac in the room actually got the room cold and the shower had hot water. Breakfast was better than most. They still had a waffle maker. They also had fresh oatmeal. Note to ownership sugar in the raw is not brown sugar just because it's in a brown wrapper. Had to throw away the oatmeal without real brown sugar. Good locael with 3 types of restaurants next door

The hotel is only 2 minutes down the highway. It is easy to find on the roadside. There is no need to worry about parking. There is a Wal-Mart supermarket about 15 minutes drive nearby to replenish supplies. The hotel has an elevator (moving a few days of luggage, like to have an elevator), an American breakfast, and an outdoor pool.

I just returned from a trip to St. George for golf that my group has been attending for over 20 years with 50 guys that flew in from all over the US. The last hotel that we were staying at for 12 years had new management and decided that they could not accommodate us regardless that we helped them with our visits for two years during CoVid-19. Mindy the Sales Manager was eager to meet all of our hotel accommodations. The Staybridge Suites was a fantastic property, clean, comfortable and very functional for our group. David the engineer and his team were always present if the need for service noticed. Lena and her kitchen staff did a spectacular job of making sure that our breakfasts were not only delicious but made sure we could be feed in time to meet our tee times. Also, the afternoon treats and special Awards banquet was above and beyond. We are eager to book our stay at the Staybridge Suites.

I stayed here b/c of another review that noted how clean this hotel is, and I would agree - the room and bathroom were super clean, though the carpet could use replacing. The hotel is easy to find and located among a number of chain restaurants and not far from groceries, etc for resupply. It was a little noisy with other guests while I was there (I think there was a cheer competition in town) but all of it was happy noise - lots of kids playing in the pool and families having a good time. What really put this place over the edge for me is that I made a HUGE mistake and booked a non-refundable reservation...for the same day that I booked it, aka the day before I arrived. Luckily the hotel found a room for me despite it being a friday and they applied my balance toward the new room rate. They were super understanding and three different people went out of their way to help me. That is a true differentiator for me!

Before going to Las Vegas, stop at St. George, because Curious decided to try this hotel on the cliff. It is indeed a well-deserved name. The room has a small balcony with unobstructed views of the city and the snowy mountains in the distance. The hotel's restaurant is also awesome, so if you want to go to the restaurant and suggest to go early, you can sit by the window. Because the hotel is on a small hill, there is definitely no place to visit nearby. If you want to go, you have to drive to the foot of the mountain. The hotel's breakfast was delivered to the room, although it was simple but it was one of the few hotels in the United States to provide breakfast.

Not the experience we were expecting. I think the place needs some investment and some TLC. We stayed one night on the return leg of a road trip. (We paid less than half the price for a stay at a different hotel just a few blocks down the the street a few nights before.) The cheaper hotel was cleaner, quieter, and had a more friendly staff. After we got settled into our room, we discovered that the bath/shower was corroded and dirty...and had what appeared to be urine or another type of yellow liquid spurted on the shower wall and bath. When I went down to the reception, the manager dismissed my concerns, until I showed him a photo. We asked to be moved to a different room. The new room had a plumbing leak and had water on the counter and on the floor. We wiped it up as best we could and departed as soon as we could the next morning. For our stay, the pool was not working. I also overheard the manager telling another guest that the internet was not working properly. Other than the issues with the bathtub and leak, the rooms were as expected. The room was quiet.

I truly don’t like to give businesses negative reviews, unless they really deserve it…well, the Red Lion in St. George deserves it. I drove in from Riverside, CA on my way to Colorado for business, and I had my dog with me. I booked the room through hotels.com, and while other hotels had explicit pet fees listed right up front, the Red Lion’s listing did not, so I assumed I would be paying the standard rate for a room at a pet friendly hotel (which was about $70 for a night, pretty average and reasonable). Upon arriving after a 5-hour drive and getting in around 3:00 am, I was informed by the night clerk (who took almost a 1/2 hour to check me in because of “computer issues”) that there would be an additional non-refundable $100 pet fee, and of course $12 in taxes just for the pet fee. I asked her why this wasn’t clearly stated on the listing on hotels.com, and her response was “take it up with them.” Once I got to the room, I did find this policy buried under the “Policies” section of the Red Lion listing, so there wasn’t anything I could do about it. Upon finally getting my door key and finding my room, I walked into an unsecured door to find my hallway, which had disgusting carpet and was littered with chip crumbs. I needed to fill my cooler with ice, so I took it downstairs to the ice machine. Once I had my cooler filled with ice and now heavy, I realized that the hotel had no elevator, so I had to find a hand dolly and pull my cooler up a flight of stairs, step by step. My actual room had large stains on the linens and a very musty smell, on top of being just very outdated. The front desk gave me a late check out of 12:00, so I was there for 9 hours and spent almost $200 on the hotel stay. I wouldn’t have minded the dinginess of the accommodations so much if the room had been more reasonably priced. But for $185 per night, I expect A LOT more from a hotel than what the Red Lion offered. The hotel does have a pool and basketball courts and a pool table and a lot of other things that I didn’t use, and I imagine it’s probably more aimed at families or traveling sports teams or whatever. So, maybe if that’s you, you’ll have a better experience at the Red Lion than I did. But if you’re just needing a place to crash with your dog for the night while driving through Utah, find somewhere else. I stayed at a pet-friendly hotel last summer in Richfield for about $80-per-night, and that is where I will be staying again the next time I drive I-15 through Utah…NOT at the St. George Red Lion.

Our room was clean. Bed was super comfortable. A light fixture was filthy from an apparent roof leak and no one thought to clean it. Primarily was shocked by the ignorance of the hotel staff. My wife has mobility issues and cannot negotiate stairs well. She wanted to go to the pool area, but was disappointed that the ONLY gate that did NOT have any steps was LOCKED! The pool has a lift for disabled people, but a disabled person cannot even get into the pool gated area since every other entrance has steps! I called the front desk and was told that they keep that gate locked because children go in and out of the gate and that disturbs other guests. Apparently children cannot get in and out of any of the other gates with stairs. Apparently other guests have priority over disabled guests! I told the front desk staffer that this was a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and she told me that if a disabled person wanted to use the pool, all they had to do was ask for the gate to be unlocked. Asking for help like this is in itself a violation of the ADA! Under the Act, a disabled person must be allowed to use a facility just like anyone else, to the fullest extent possible, without essentially asking for permission or special treatment. I asked for the owners' contact information and was refused. If you have mobility issues, and want to use the pool at this hotel, I'd suggest finding another hotel. Such an insult to Americans with disabilities, including our veterans and others! Such ignorance!

We usually love staying at La Quinta’s as they are always pet friendly, affordable and cozy. This La Quinta however doesn’t check those boxes unfortunately. For starters they charge a pet fee, which is unheard of for La Quinta’s, so be prepared for that. We booked the largest and priciest room as we like to give our dog some space after a long day in the car. The “suite” felt more like a hospital suite. Incredibly sterile, no warmth to it, in no way relaxing after a long day. It would probably help if they put in some softer lighting (currently has blueish florescent lighting)and a rug. Overall it’s “okay”, for what we ended up paying on an off season Tuesday, we won’t be back. Especially now that they are charging for pets, we’ll be taking our 30+ hotel nights a year back to Hilton properties.

Stay about 200 nights a year in hotels for work and have to say this BW was a delight. Upon arrival and check in was recognized as a Diamond Select member and given the little goody bag with waters and crackers. Seems small, but earning loyalty status means at this level means you are one of the most loyal of customers. So many BW's fail on that regard lately. Checked in and given a room in the furthest back building, away from traffic, per my request. Although it was a second floor, with no elevators that was only a slight inconvenience from having to lug 2 giant suit cases up on day one, down on day 12. Room was very clean, plenty of pillows, towels, etc. Bed was comfy, but on the hard side. Had a room with a balcony with was a plus. A lot of hotels with a balcony dont have any place to sit, here there were two metal chairs and a small table. Perfect to sit outside and do my end of day wrap up for work on the computer. Wifi was fast with not problems connecting or remaining connected which is sometimes a problem. Once check in I never went to lobby for anything, nor went for the breakfast so cant rate them on that. Kept a do not disturb sign out all but one day and was never bothered. The one day I took it down was for a good cleaning that was completed efficiently and well. I'll be back to St George soon and this is where I will be staying. Giving this a BIG YES!

If you want to come to the United States to shoot a gun, you can definitely arrange it. There are more choices than California, and cheaper than Vegas There are few people. We had made reservations for a different hotel and when we showed up at that hotel, their pet fee was more than the room itself and then they informed us that we wouldn't even be able to rent the room we reserved because we had a pet. They shooed us away and told us to go ”across the street” to the Red Roof Inn. And I'm so glad they did. At the Red Roof Inn, the first pet is free and the room price was great too. The staff was friendly and they even allowed us a late check out. We were helping my daughter move into a new apartment and didn't want to have to worry about the dog so we left one of our kids with the dog in the room and they allowed us to have a late check out. It was so kind of them. I appreciate them and would stay here again.

Stayed here several nights this month. Price is affordable and the rooms are kept clean and tidy with modern design and all I believe include a fridge and microwave. Great value and about 2 mins off of I-15 surrounded by a variety of dining. Thanks

This is an older hotel. I stayed here 40+ years ago as a kid. I loved that there was no carpet in the room, so much cleaner that way. It's not fancy but was just fine for a night. Busy roads nearby, I used my white noise app and that helped a bit. Breakfast was not great, but I didn't expect it to be. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Pool and hot tub were closed, not a deal breaker for us, we weren't there long. Price was great.
