|0.59km from city centerNo one spoke much English, so we were unable to confirm the story that the former temple behind the hotel is one of the sites where the Japanese drove in iron spikes to destroy the power meridians of Korea. The impressive welcome arch at the top of the stairs perhaps helps to cancel any effect the disrupted meridians might have on guests. The hotel was built in 1962 and certainly reflects the characteristics of a 60s hotel, with very few power outlets and a can of bug spray on the dresser. The view is great, the breakfast mediocre.

It was a bit strange to have hot and cold water in the bath, and the hot water alternated with cold water. There is a small sofa and TV in the living room to watch. Overall, it is said that this price is very good, cheaper than the local Korean. It is about ten minutes drive from legoland, and there is a large Lotte supermarket within 8 minutes drive. Opposite the hotel is the riverside.

|0.74km from city centerDo not trust the images of the hotel, inside or out. All have been photoshopped and the real thing looks very, very different. Building is in a very seedy neighborhood with the closest business being the Bikini Club, the clientale of which probably frequent the hotel on a regular basis. Parking is extremely limited and insufficient for the hotel…you may have to park on the street. Unlike the bright well-appointed rooms in the photos, the room we were assigned was painted black floor to ceiling. There were holes in the walls from thrown objects. Room stank of mildew, alcohol and smoke. Air conditioning did not work. Bedding is worn and threadbare. And note that this was presumably their best deluxe room. We left immediately in disgust but the owner refused any refund and charged us for 2 nights in direct violation of his own cancellation policy. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

Beautiful mountains surrounding the hotel. - Front desk staff was nice and helpful when I asked for help. -Outside of the hotel looks nice. - The cafe in the lobby had good pastries we ate for breakfast and the price was comparable to any other Korean bakery. Cons: - The inside of the hotel needs an update. - The lanolium floor in our bedroom was old and curling up on the side of the walls. -We were there May 29-30 and it was a bit warm so we tried to turn the AC but it seems the hotel might control it and it wouldn't come on. However, tt wasn't unbearable as there was a stand fan that we used in the room. - There was no shower curtain, so when you shower in the old tub, the water goes everywhere and it's slippery. Although they do have bathroom slippers, we don't really like to wear slippers that everyone else has their feet in. - The door was so old and there was a dent at the bottom that I could see the outside. - There is a sensor for the light by the door next to the bathroom so whenever you walk by it at night, it comes on and for light sleepers could wake them up. - We paid $85 with tax on agoda. com. This was listed as a 4 star hotel. I would say it's more like a motel on the inside. I don't think it's worth paying more than $50 here. - They had a breakfast buffet for W28,000 for adults. We didn't eat there as I was already not impressed with the hotel.

Chunchuan City traffic is not very convenient. It takes more than ten minutes to walk from the South Station. Take a taxi about 4,000 won. The hotel is small and exquisite and stylish. The room is simple and practical. Clean and tidy. There are very hotels and general residential houses nearby, but it is very quiet. There are also restaurants nearby, but no attempt, we took a taxi to Myeongdong to eat Chunchuan chicken, as long as about 4,000 won. Hotel staff is very good and enthusiastic in English. Don't forget to use the room card to start the hotel main entrance after 10:00 in the evening. Because the front desk has no staff on duty.

|2.78km from city centerI went to Lego Land Korea Hotel and I had the most awesome time ever! It was like stepping into a Lego dream world! The hotel was super colorful and had huge Lego characters everywhere. I felt like I was inside a giant Lego set! The beds were so comfy and they had Lego-themed sheets and pillows. My room even had a treasure chest full of Lego bricks to play with! It was like having my own Lego playground! The best part was to get the treasure out of the safe you had to follow the map and the hints. We had all our meals at the hotel. They had a buffet with yummy food like pancakes, waffles, and lots of colorful fruits. And guess what? The plates and cups were all Lego-shaped which is pretty cool The staff was super friendly and helpful. They always had a smile on their faces and made me feel special. One of the best parts was that you get into the park early when you are staying at the hotel. We got a two day pass with one night hotel which was perfect. It's not very close to Legoland, but it's a good distance to go ~ The hostel was clean and nice
The double floor is also under the triangular roof, so it's quite high, so my mother, who is 173 cm tall, was comfortable standing except for both ends.
The bathroom was a bit unfortunate but overall satisfied ^^
I liked the kids too.

p.s. I made a reservation because they said there was only 1 room left and it was non-refundable, but it was absurd that in 2 hours it was cheaper by 20,000 won because there were 10 rooms left.

|12.84km from city centerI spent a pleasant stay with my companion. We had stayed in the S3 suite. It snowed when we arrived, making the snowy view absolutely cutting the breath!! We asked for a barbecue (20,000wons) which allows us to spend a barbecue evening after the walk to the cascade under the snow (the parvis protects the balcony). No problem with the shower. However, provide water, coffee and salt/oil because this is not available for free. But if you ask, there is one of the things to buy from the owners.
Thanks to Trip.com we saved 5,000wons from the original price and the winter and week package (on Wednesday to Friday) was very advantageous (150,000wons for two nights).
Without car, you will have to walk 16min until the next bus stop and 43min until the train station, plan to move by taxi to Ganchon station is just 3.800wons. It's a little far from you, but here's the price of tranquility and nature!
