Had minor stomach issues and Chef got food ready to suit upset stomach. Wide spread Breakfast is available and my family really relished. Would strongly recommend the hotel for family/business stay.

|0.56km from city centerVisited with family in December. Location wise, the hotel stands at a great place. It is in very close proximity to Law garden market and Riverside. The infrastructure of the hotel is great. They have furnished each room with amazing amenities and facilities. Our room had a spacious bed, wardrobe, sofa and even a table where I could work upon my laptop. It seems that the entire hotel follows a theme of grey colour since the furnishings in the room were in that shade, ***** with almost every other place in the hotel, including the clothing of the staff. Their a-la-carte menu is priced a bit on the higher side but their buffet breakfast was great with many options and the quality and flavours of the food were nice. The one thing that irked me about this place was the level of friendliness shown by the staff. The receptionist was NOT a friendly ***. There was no glimmer of a smile on him on any of the 3 days we stayed here. Asking a question seemed to be a way of disturbing them. You would expect a hotel staff to be courteous and welcoming but there was no such inclination on their part to show any such behaviour. The staff in the dining hall was equally cold and seemed a bit clueless about how to make their guests feel welcome. It was only after the second night, when we tipped them for our stay, did they start asking us willingly if they can offer us anything. Call it an instinct or maybe the high levels of courtesy set by the staff of Click hotels in Junagadh, that I totally felt bummed by the lack of welcome at this hotel. Another thing that seemed odd was the design of the bathroom. The entrance door opens at the centre, with the bathing area on the left and the flush on the right. The door had frosted glass on it and I feel that it was pretty inappropriate. We had to check out early in the morning at 7 AM and they did not have staff to carry down the luggage, except for a guy who was preparing our sandwiches. In the time that he would have come up, I carried all my stuff on my own down the elevator. Bottom line - Not that you will not like your stay here because of the above points but it is just something to watch out for!

Rooms are spacious and clean, service is quick and staff is friendly and courteous. . There’s two restaurants( cafe piano and mr & mrs so***i). We visited here on Friday morning and tried their breakfast buffet at Cafe Piano, decor is just amazing with cool and happening vibes. Food was freshly cooked, and very delicious. . They also have one more restaurant, Mr & Mrs. So***i, which was also very cozy and wonderful place.

Since the rooms are non ac hence a perfect stay in summer as the windows open towards the higheay which give a good view even at midnight, for ahmedabad wakes up at night and the beauty of the city can be experienced. If booked room directly through the hotel without ant intermediary then the cost is 800 inr only which is quite feasible in such a city.

Second thing bothered me .. almost every thing was finished in breakfast at 10 ,no one ia filling them.. i asked for dosa to a staff.. no show I asked for brown bread toast.. waited for 10 mins .. no show .. i was tired of my night run.. i cant walk properly.. i walked out without eating,so overall very disappointing.. 3 stars for late check out

The hotels location is within walking distance to the Law Gardens and other local attractions which is a bonus.
In conclusion, we had a great stay at Four Points by Sheraton Ahmedabad and we felt the staff looked after us. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ahmedabad.

The vicinity is however full of cheap shops for clothing and is a short tuktuk ride away from the main city and night markets. The hotel features a classic lift which can be scary to some, but it does the job so no complaints with it. The rooms are very basic and the bathroom door is made of a material that is slightly see through, this can be an issue if you are sharing the room with a friend. Didn't eat here but the hotel did have a food menu.

I booked the hotel through Goibibo which says this hotel belongs to the golden tulip chain of hotels; but I seriously doubt it. This place needs serious overhauling. The walls, ceilings, skirtings, biddings, furniture are all worn out. The room had a seepage smell and algae on the wall of the bathing area. I asked the manager to put me into the best room they had. They called it a suite because it has more space and a lounge chair; but it was worse than the room I was put in. The rooms don’t have any of the toilettes except bath gel and soap. The towels have rust and stains all over them. Even the breakfast is horrible. Vijay Sharma, Manager is a soft spoken decent person; but I felt that either his concerns are not being taken seriously by the management; and even he is tired of it. My advice: please don’t be fooled by the golden tulip stamp. Spend another thousand and have a blissful stay at Binori hotel just across the road.

|10.16km from city centerFirst and foremost, this is not a 3 or 4 star hotel, the property is primarily used for weddings, birthday parties and social functions. Anyone thinking this is a business hotel and its rated high, would be highly disappointed. If the hotel ***agement feels they are one of the best hotels based on their ratings on TripAdvisor, they are definitely delusional. Pros: 1. The housekeeping and restaurant staff are courteous (giving a 2 rating since they were customer centric). 2. They have a basic Gym (for some reason its always locked and you need to call the reception to get it opened) which is good. 3. Breakfast (limited options) is basic and okayish. Cons: 1. The approach roads to the hotel is not maintained, there is waterlogging during rains. 2. Parking is limited, and they somehow give preference to the people attending functions and not to the actual guests (those staying) of the hotel! Had to find a place to park (outside) the hotel. 3. Room was very basic, small. And since its for large groups to stay (overnight) for functions, the rooms open into other rooms and you can hear everyone talking/watching TV since the rooms are interconnected. 4. Since rooms are interconnected and during functions (on the rooftop), its not a pleasant stay due to noise (either of someone talking or due to music playing on the rooftop. I complained twice during my stay but they couldn't do much about the noise. 5. Breakfast is served in a party hall (not a con, but just seemed weird since some days they call you and inform that the hall is being decked up for a party and breakfast will be served in the room). Major cons: 1. Granted, they have a veg only policy. However, they do not allow guests to get their own food into the rooms, even if the food is veg! What's atrocious about this rule is that their menu is limited (and expensive) and no one would have it for more than 1-2 days (I stayed 2 weeks here!). 2. The front desk (lady) is rude (or was it her inexperience, not sure). During check in, she did not smile, nor greet, nor offered if someone can get my bags nor showed me the way to the elevator. Day 3 of my stay, while returning from office, she stops me and asks me where I am going! When I told her that I am staying at the hotel, she asks me for my room # . Day 7, she asks me again! I mean which hotel does this!! And how does someone sitting at the front desk, not remember that there is a guest who is staying for so long! Worse still, around Day 10, some other guy at the front desk asks me for my room #. Again. Somehow you get the feeling that the hotel is run by people who are old school and want to control every single aspect but fail to see the bigger picture. I suggest they step out of this city and stay at other real (star) properties and understand the meaning of customer service. From the greetings when arrival by the bellboy Jay Singh , so pleasant and active , the reception staff Imran Roman etc so smiling and happy to greet you , and whoever you are meeting overthere are so warm and friendly staff , restaurant, cuisine, house keeping . Vishal Suthar pick up the call i trying to tell him the problem happen with my guest but it's very shocking he started doing misbehave with me also he doing unnecessary arguments also he's abusing i ask him who are you he introduced his self as a owner of the property he said I'm the owner of hotel I'm traveling around the world in domestic all over India also i never get that kind of rude and horrible experience 3 times i talk with that person but he's doing same behaviour continue finally i keep quiet myself i was wake up whole night with Full upseted mind there's my guest was uncomfortable i never ever recommend this property to anyone also i request to mangement keep some polite staff there in future another guests will be safe from terror of Vishal Suthar.....

We had an issue with a driver who did not turn up for us, the hotel sorted it and we ended up with a cheaper option. We were involved in an accident and the hotel staff administered first aid and made sure that were were all ok The rooms are on the small size but adequate and the place was spotlessly clean.
