We stayed in Sterling Darjeeling for 7 days and the stay here was wonderful and will be ever memorable. Every Dept members were always ready to provide the best hospitality to us. The restaurant ambiance and the outside view were very nice. Specially mentioning the name of the ***ager Mr. Pramod and the Chef Mr. Sushil who have made our experience wonderful. My wife and two daughters enjoyed the food and restaurant services a lot. They have arranged everything whatever we opted for.

booked directly after finding the number on google. stayed there for a week. pros 1. very cooperative staff, friendly in nature and polite behaviour. 2. food from inhouse kitchen is affordable and hygienic. 3. i was traveling with my dog, although the do not allow pets, but cooperated really nicely to accommodate. had informed them in advance though. 4. provided food for the pet too, which was a really adorable gesture from there side. ***y thanks. 5. really clean room with nice view. away from city noise, book if you like calm and quite places. cons; 1. far from city, so have your own transportation ( approx 3-4 km rural road to main market ) 2. although cctv covered,but parking is on the road in front of hotel. 3. rooms in 3 sections, delux : avg rooms on lower floors. (ok ok) standard : good room executive : newly constructed very good rooms. Be careful which category you book else you have to pay extra charges for upgradation. Overall very positive experience.

Very well located property with excellent service and tasty food…what else would one need during a hill station holiday. Rooms were excellent with fire place (which were lit promptly on request), room heaters, air humidifiers. Nice touch of hospitality with some complimentary snacks and sift lift drinks which were replenished every day. Service is impeccable and all possible needs are met promptly which is hard to get in hill stations, specifically in peak season ( end of December). Gaming area adequate to have all in the family occupied, the gym is small but will help to lose your calories. The buffet breakfast is top notch with a wide spread of dishes, including live counter. One thing missing was Darjeeling tea in pots (signature in all cafes here). You need to be satisfied with tea bags. Maybe the only complaint. The “Douglas” bar is small yet cozy with plenty of options to keep one happy. Bartender Jyotirmoy is good at mixing cocktails. Tell him your taste and he can surely mix something more satisfying than just quenching your thirst. Bhu*** ji and Deepna ji is always looking after you in the restaurant. Reach out to them if you need something and they’ll promptly help you out with a smile. Overall a highly recommend luxurious stay option and will definitely return

In Darjeeling, it can be regarded as one of the best quality hotels. Although the surrounding area is very shabby, it is a small harbor, which is especially suitable for two people (because of the double breakfast). From Darjeeling Railway Station, drag the suitcase to the hotel for about 15 minutes. Young people are fine. It is only 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Peak Plaza. It is very convenient. There is a night market with stalls nearby. There was even a miniso, and I was drunk too, and the holiday brand that lost the Chinese face was flooding everywhere. The video was shot in the room with a time-lapse. In addition, free luggage storage is provided here, you can go for four or five days on foot, leave your luggage here, and pick it up later.

We stayed at this hotel from 17th-20th June 2022 with group of 38 people They don’t know what hospitality is … Starting from Sales to checkout Although we paid 80% (2 days out of 3 days) advance payment but their sales team lady (Seema) still didn’t confirmed our booking and left our guest waiting in lobby for 3 hours until she got the full payment. As was travelling to darjeeling from Bagdogra there was mobile network issue so I wasn’t able to make the balance payment. Although I requested that I will pay as soon as I reach there we were having booking for 21 rooms and just allocate 2 rooms to families that have reached early but she was ada***t Hotel is really in BAD shape and now I understood why they ask for all payment. They have 2 building and they only showcase the main heritage building. The standard rooms are he worst ones to stay in the other building Although some rooms are big but no maintenance was there the flooring is broken, leakage, smell of dampness, broken furniture … and ***y more (problem with all rooms) They don’t have enough staff to cater room service or house keeping. Towels were not changed for 3 days. You request 1 thing and you would be lucky to get within in 1 hr without 3-4 reminders. They don’t keep stock of any food material. The hotel was occupied but they only have 8-10 snack options (No French Fries, No Peanuts) … Can you Imagine I have seen lot of guest complaining to change the room but they cudn’t help it. They shifted us to nearby hotel saying that they will give us better rooms next day but I have to fight hard to claim those rooms next day Not even single team member was happy with the stay. The ***agement should fire all the staff and close down this if they aren’t able to handle

I went to Hotel Mount Amara in Siliguri with my mother, wife and two sons. The rooms were decent but rooms should be bigger. The conduct of the staff was cordial especially Su*** Chatterjee was very good. The breakfast with poach, boiled egg, omelette, aloo ka paratha was very good. The dinner with mutton curry, tawa roti was good. I took packed chilli fish dish for my train journey. The hotel requires a better locations as roads near it are not good.

We stayed with family for 1 night on 03-May-23. We booked a standard room for 3 but were given a pleasant surprise when we were upgraded to a large spacious room with 2 queen beds. The rooms were spotlessly clean , the ambiance terrific and the amenities like toiletries adequate. The breakfast and food although not 5 star spread was adequate and tasty. Most importantly the staff and service was great and immaculate. Only con is that the hotel is part of a large office complex so the entrance and surrounding ambiance may not have a nice good feel. But for Siliguri transit and for business it is a great place to stay Would always return here for future stays.

During my visit with my friends, I discovered that the hotel offered food and lodging together at a very reasonable price. We were unsure whether the hotel service and food quality would be good while staying there. We checked several hotels in the same area before coming to Summer Palace. Most of the hotels in the nearby area charged much higher prices and ***y did not even offer food. Summer Palace's price, at first, surprised us - damm cheap. Then we asked the ***ager to show us the rooms and the hotel services. However, after seeing the room and talking to the ***ager, we felt confident that we could try it out. Our financial budget was very tight, and it was a full season for Darjeeling. In any case, we decided to stay there. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food was excellent. Non-vegetarian meal three times. The experience was more than satisfactory for us. Unbelievably the room was very nice, with wood-crafted walls and a large ground floor. From its balcony, the room offers a magnificent Kanchanjangha view. Stunned, we were. My friend joked that there was no way this hotel could offer such great service and superb rooms for such a cheap price unless the owner had black money. This has been our most enjoyable trip so far.

Would like to appreciate few people who made our stay very comfortable, Mr.Durga who ***ages the F&B gave us special care even though he was busy with a wedding going on. Darjeeling originally gave people the feeling of vacation. The location of this hotel is on the middle of the mountain, which is a little bit biased. It is particularly quiet at night and finally can sleep well. Breakfast has omelette, fried noodles, pouches, bread, etc., which is more in line with Chinese stomach. The shortcoming is that the water heater is a bit funny, and there is no hot water when it is often used.

Worst hotel I have ever been to, had booked the hotel for 2 nights for family in their family room and the experience was pathetic. The room was infested with cockroaches. There were cockroaches everywhere, on the bed, floor, on table, below their telephone. The entire hotel is stinky, from their lobbies to bathroom, everything feels like railways second class dabba.The bathroom stink flows to your room and its not possible to stay in the room with windows closed, we had to spray room freshner every 2-3 hours at night so that we could sleep. We had to ask hit spray and room freshner. There were two rooms in the family room setup, since the king size bed was not usable because of cockroach infestation, we had to ask for extra blanket. The staff at night time denied extra blanket and had the audacity to say ”why you didnot check the room before confirming”. Its not a tourist's job to keep your hotel and the rooms clean, its your job. This shows how pathetic the ***agement is. As a joke, they also have a kitchen with rats running around. They also have in room dining facility, they expect you to dine in their stinky cockroach infested rooms. All the best to the people who dare to order from their kitchen. The staff knows very well about the pathetic condition of the hotel and they donot care. We came to know this from the loose attitude that they had. The room had broken tiles, switches, there were stains on the bedsheet, torn sofa cover, the pillows are all stained with black marks. If you are a tourist and donot want to fall sick, please ignore this pathetic hotel. We had no choice as we had already paid the entire amount, we stayed the entire day outside this hotel just to not fall sick.

Located in very good location. Airport is merely 12 kms away and famous Hongkong market is approx. 2 km. Rooms are good with nice food. Staaf are very courteous. Ambiance is very good. Cut one star because of slow service in restaurant. Otherwise rest is good. Overall nice hotel with affordable price and comfortable stay.
