Hotels Near Il Dottore In Munich
0.08km from Il DottoreIn good faith and with the joyful expectation of a long awaited family vacation we made plans back in early February to stay at the Hotel Exquisit for the final night of a family trip on September 20. At the time of our booking, we paid $1,179 in good faith using the “non-refundable” price (which saved us maybe $150 at the time). Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, the German government prohibited our entry as US citizens into the country and all of our flights were canceled making our stay impossible. After working with Hotels.com and calling and emailing the hotel directly multiple times over the course of several months, the hotel has REFUSED TO work with us or REFUND ANY PORTION of our payment. We have been told that our request hdd been passed on to the hotel’s managers, Maria Sperger-Bolla and Ivan Bolla, but they have failed to ever respond to us. Out of the 50 reservations that we have had to adjust this year, the Hotel Exquisit is the ONLY one that has refused any type of refund or response due to COVID cancellations. We may never be able to go to Munich, but if we ever do get the opportunity WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT stay at the Hotel Exquisit and we recommend that you don’t either. Their example is NOT an “Exquisit” experience in any way other than a disappointing one. Support businesses with integrity instead.
0.21km from Il DottoreOur Premier Inn Munchen City (Zentrum) hotel is only a stone's throw away from the best attractions of the Bavarian metropolis. Start your visit to Munich's Old Town with the famous Frauenkirche or enjoy lunch at Marianneplatz in the city centre, before sampling the local delicacies at the Viktualienmarkt. Whether you want to rent a paddle boat or watch the locals surfing on Eisbach - a visit to the English Garden, the largest park in Munich, is always worthwhile. When you return to our hotel at the end of a busy day in the state capital, you can look forward to a delicious meal in our lounge and a great night's sleep in our super-comfy beds.
0.23km from Il DottoreThe location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the subway station, and the main attractions can also be reached on foot. Check in check out is very fast. The apartment has a cooking place and the room is spacious. The breakfast is quite rich, and many local specialties can be eaten at breakfast. The breakfast is long enough for you to taste slowly. There is no air conditioning, there is no problem in the autumn season, and I don’t know it in the summer. The fan is quite powerful.
0.24km from Il DottoreOur family of 8 stayed at the City Aparthotel for eight nights over the Christmas period. We were in Munich for the Christmas markets and this hotel was in a great location to access them and other tourist spots. The staff here were nothing short of fantastic - they were soooo helpful especially in the first couple of days when we were trying to work out where things were and how to get places. They even got us a toaster to cook toast for breakfast. The rooms were a good size BUT we had asked for two three room apartments which were meant to have two double bedrooms in each apartment. This was not the case. We had a large double bedroom and a box room in each apartment. This meant that our son and daughter in law had to sleep on the couches in the lounge room. We had booked these rooms in January and were assured we had two double bedrooms. This was our only complaint about our whole stay. We were going to take it up with the manager but our son and daughter in law thought it easier to stay as is, rather than shift again for two days. The hotel is in a great location for accessing all tourist spots and public transport and an easy walk to the Hauptbahnhof.
0.24km from Il DottoreThis is the best hotel that I've stayed in so far, and the main reason was the staff. Everyone there is so helpful, hardworking and attentive to the guests' needs. Plus, the rooms are confortable and impeccably clean. The breakfast is amazing and there are lots of options even for people with food intolerances. I just came back from my trip and I already miss this place. It was simply amazing and I recommend it to everyone!

0.26km from Il DottoreMy husband and I booked a double room for two nights after landing in Germany. Because Italy was on lockdown, our plans were derailed and we asked about staying two more nights. The lovely girl at the hotel desk gave us a better rate than Booking.com and included breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious. All the hotel staff was very nice. The WiFi was a little slow at times. The hotel Is a little dated but that never bothers us. Easy walk to the train station. Nice walk to the Marienplatz. We would stay here again.

0.27km from Il DottoreNice hotel in why seems like an Arab neighbourhood in Munich, 10 min to the train station (15 min to Marienplatz). Great restaurants nearby, a Lidl supermarket and lots of mini markets and fruit stores. The rooms are fairly big and well equipped (kettle, coffee and tea, water, and the usual safe, tv, hairdryer). Shower gel/shampoo but no other toiletries. Our shower was completely clogged (drain was filthy) so we couldn’t use it, but they tried to fix it relatively quickly - we didn’t want to change rooms as we were only spending one night). The chap at reception was very helpful. While by email they were a bit unfriendly when I asked if we could drop our bags before check in (3pm) to see town (said “leave at your risk or use the lockers at train station), when we arrived just before 2pm the room was ready and all was well. So I certainly recommend the hotel and would stay there again. Tip: on a Sunday don’t bother to try and get breakfast in old town: there’s nothing open. Near the hotel there are coffee fellows and others, best stay nearby.

0.3km from Il DottoreThe location is quite close to the main tourist attractions and is very close to the nearest Ubahn station, which was convenient. With the window closed, it was very quiet even though it's on a very bust street. Room was a very nice size and quite clean. Bathroom was also a nice size with all amenities. Beds were quite comfortable. There is an elevator as well, although very tiny, which was handy. On the down side, VERY HARD TO FIND!! VERY CONFUSING! I'm not sure why, but the place you check in is totally around the other side of the street to where you actually stay! You can't access the front desk or breakfast room from where your room is. We had a very hard time finding the correct location. It was quite inconvenient. It's also right in the middle of a very busy street. They were also doing construction right outside our window. But thank goodness for good German engineering on the windows! When it was kept closed, we didn't hear a thing. The only bad thing was, it did get very warm and stuffy with the window closed. We didn't try the breakfast so I'm not sure how it was, but the front desk staff was friendly and helpful nonetheless.
0.34km from Il DottoreYou dont get a luxury experience here. But what you get, is a bed, a clean room, and a location VERY close to were all the fun is. Parking is difficult and quite expensive, so another time I would maybe park further away, and take the train or bus to the hotel. I did not buy the breakfast buffet there, because the area is full of cafes and bakerys.

This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. Book breakfast at the front desk for 26 Euros at check-in, which is a few dollars cheaper than direct signing. There are many kinds of fruits, a lot of fruits, and a handsome little brother will make you an egg roll.
Tulip inn is one of the many trade show hotels around the Munich messe. Located about 4km from the fair ground in a typical (there’s nothing going on but offices) industrial area. Directly located at the 94 highway thus easy accessible. Reception is understaffed and checking/ checkout might take a while. Rooms are pretty basic but clean (no neighbors noise!) breakfast is not to extensive but provides hot food and the typical bread and Cereals. To sum it up, not a place where you want to spend time with a family but a descend business facinity
Just stayed here for a few nights with the family. We opted for two rooms but where double beds were expected the rooms had two single beds put together. The bathroom was very clean and the showers worked a treat. There were very large TVs in each room and the beds were comfortable. Each room had plenty of storage space and each had air conditioning. We opted not to have breakfast, because the hotel was situated about 100 yards from the train station, so we went there instead. Breakfast here was about 20 Euros a head so we walked to the station for fresh food. As you leave the hotel and walked through the passage to the road, you turned right and the train station was right in front, just across the road. Staff were very friendly, there was free wifi and lifts to the rooms. Overall it was a nice place to stay and it was extremely well sited for trains and trams in and out of the city. Would stay here again, if only because it was so well situated being effectively just across the road from the train station.
We came 2 hours earlier than the check in time but were told that our room were ready. Tobias welcomes us at the check in and he was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quite new and about 8 minutes walk to the Station. It was quite fast to go to central Munich. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Breakfast was a bit pricy at €19 per person per day, so we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.
The location is excellent, but because of the recent construction near the Munich train station, the outside environment has a little impact, but the room is absolutely quiet and comfortable. We brought two children this time. There was no extra money for breakfast. The suites were arranged on the top floor and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms are fully equipped, all electronically controlled, very scientific and technological! PS: The hotel has a rich breakfast, especially the variety of fruits and high quality. There is also a bar that can make waffles by yourself. The children will make their own meals every day, especially happy.
