Well located, the shared room bed its like a private bedroom.. not like others hostels.. here you have private space for your things inside your area... the other bed is facing to the other side.. very well organized. Everything new, clean.. smoking terrace Only advise: read well the rules of shedule for shower. You have to take the shower in the morning maximum till 9am.. I was surprised that was close till 16h buy the owner opened for me the shower excepcionally. Thanks! If the owner read this, just a recomendation to give a 100% satisfactory stay to customers: pillows are new but so small..

Loved the stay. We had only one night but wished we stayed longer. Thanks to the host, he was so friendly and took us around to a local restaurant for dinner and answered all our questions. Amazing time.

Heartfelt thanks to everything the owner family has done for us and authentic Japanese cultural experience! 1. As the property only has 10 rooms, the family owner is very attentive and caring to our every need! Always smiling and checking if we need assistance! We have forgotten to inform the owner that the previous guest has left a small cosmetic bag in the room. As the owner mistook the bag as ours during room cleaning, he speedily drove to the train station to deliver the bag to me. So touching! 2. The breakfasts and dinners are super delicious and beautifully presented. Written menus with chef’s explanation is provided which make us enjoy the food more. 3. The room is big. Although the hotel is 30 years old according to owner, the property is very well maintained. We like the purposely low profile green, silver grey and pink colors of the room decor as they match perfectly with the Japanese bathrobe. 4. The indoor and outdoor onsens are fantastic! Private and exclusive! The outdoor onsen gives a serene country side view of Japan! 5. The owner provide free commute btw hotel and train station, which is just a 3 minutes car ride, almost at any requested time. 6. Nicely wrapped checkout gift is prepared! The only slight inconvenience is that there is no convenient stores or restaurants near the hotel. But this is precisely the tranquillity we look for from the Japanese country side. Arigato to Ohshima San!

The hotel is very good! [Value for money] super high! [health] very good [Location] Not far from the train station, walk for five or six minutes. First of all, when booking, these 15 square meters, I am a bit worried, go to the super big, at least 50 flat, there is a small living room, room, bathroom, shower room. Because it was late, I didn't book a room with a windy atmosphere. When I checked in, I decided to have a private atmosphere. There are 4 private atmospheres in the hotel, 50 minutes each time, 2200yan. Very comfortable, the fatigue disappeared after the bubble. Check in after 3 o'clock, there are many people, need to wait for a long time, but the service staff are very polite, there will be a Japanese grandma to take you to the room, to introduce you to the room. Dinner breakfast is to eat in the restaurant, arrange a seat, and have a name on the seat. The service is OK, the food is still decent, of course, go out with yourself and eat. The room is prepared to be intimate, hot water, a pot of ice water, and a humidifier. Overall, I am very satisfied. There are many Japanese people in Kinugawa. Most of the stores do not have Chinese and English, but they also rely on the drawing and pictures [OK].

Jyuan is the perfect Japanese Ryokan. Peaceful countryside setting. Traditional tatami mats throughout. An outdoor Onsen in a Bamboo Grove. I loved it. The ambiance is very traditional Japanese. All guests wearing yukatas, lots of Japanese art, amazing polite service and incredible locally sourced food. In fact the food was one of the absolute highlights. It was just phenomenal. Traditional dinner and breakfast. The photos don't even begin to do it justice. If you're looking for a relaxing, completely Japanese experience then look no further. Jyuan is located in Nikko a short walk from the local station. I could happily have spent more time there and its the kind of place where time seems to slow all the way down.

Advantages The room is very large, the service is very good, the door is taken by the door and sent directly to the room. When the door is at the door of the room, the door is already open. When you check out, you can take the car directly to the Kinugawa Onsen Station. The meal is also good, two nights, two mornings are not heavy, the taste is not evaluated if you like personal taste, the ingredients are good. There are very few people. There are not many people who go to the hotel during the 11th period. It is suitable for people who like quiet. To put it bluntly, the main reason is that the hotel time is not short, the facilities are general, but it is also very clean. There are two pools in the hot spring men's room, one is outdoor, the interior is good, and the outdoor ones in Japan are not good. Overall, it is good, that is, the price of 2,800 RMB for one night is still a bit high.

If you check in at night, there is no shuttle bus, and a section of the road is quite dark. It is recommended to check in during the day or use the hotel’s free shuttle bus.

We selected Nikko Cottage Fu-Sha for our recent stay in Nikko based on Trip Advisor reviews, and it was the perfect choice for us. The cottage is so comfortable, immaculately clean, charmingly furnished and decorated, with a spacious bathroom and small kitchen. Sleeping was Japanese style, on futons with lovely linens. The location was absolutely perfect, in a residential neighborhood by the river. It’s just a 10 minute walk to the World Heritage Site shrine and temple complex and museum in Nikko National Park, and a 5 minute walk through woodlands along the river to the Kanman-ga-Fuchi Abyss. Also easy walking to shops and restaurants on the main road, to the botanical garden and to the Tamozawa Imperial Villa, as well as to the local bus stop for going to Lake Chuzenji and beyond. The kindness and offers of help from Yoshiko, the property owner and host, is beyond compare. We received a very welcoming email message from her and her husband after we booked with an offer to pick us up from the train, and we were in communication close to our stay when we knew our time of arrival. Yoshiko picked us up from the train station when we arrived, took us back to the station when we left three days later, recommended restaurants for dinner and offered repeatedly to drive us to and from them (we declined, but appreciated such care and thoughtfulness), cleaned and changed linens every day, and provided yogurt, juices, fresh fruits and bread for breakfast every day. We can’t say enough about what a wonderful host she is and how welcome she made us feel. Just a note about Nikko...many restaurants and cafes close in the late afternoon, and so it was a bit of a challenge to find a place to have a cup of coffee or tea and a pastry after 4 or 5 pm. Restaurants often reopen at 6 or 6:30 pm for dinner, but may close by 8:30 or 9, and it’s important to check that a selected restaurant is open on the day you choose to go.
