I’ll tell you who Maureen is... a great, friendly approachable lady on the Front desk!! Her English is perfect and ever so helpful! So the welcome top marks!! The room was small but very cosy! It was only 2 of us so no need for any extra. Otherwise it was very clean and more then adequate for our needs! Location is more then perfect, we actually walked to every attraction from the hotel... no rush, just strolled! Eiffel Tower Champs elysees Arc de triomphe galleria La Fayette Notre Dame Walked the river seine Louvre Mont Marte (Sacré-Cœur) And quite a few more! There is a tube called Cadet 2 mins walk from the hotel! Breakfast- very tiny hot buffet but well stocked ! Included scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages and beans! And plenty of pastries, sweets, meats, breads and surprisingly not that much fruit in offer... really wanted water melon 🍉 I love this in the morning... hope they get some in before we check in here again! Overall 5/5 !! Well done to all and thanks again Maureen for your wonderful hospitality!! Will see you in February hopefully! P.s thanks for the tips on what rooms to book next 😄

We recently stayed here for 3 days. We had visited London before this and hence we were already ready for small rooms. And it was no different here. The rooms were comparatively smaller and the elevator even smaller. Barely 2 person and one luggage can fit. The rooms had basic features with manual locks and one key. We got locked out 2 times in the first hour and had to go to the reception to get help. The shower area was also very small. The common area and the dinning area were large and spacious. The breakfast buffet was filled with variety of delicious breads and pastry options. They bake most of the food fresh in the hotel itself. So you could smell the auroma of the food by 7 am. The best part of the hotel stay. Even on the day of our departure we were able to have the breakfast before we left. The breakfast time was 7.30. We had to leave by 7. But the hotel staff were friendly enough to suggest us to eat whatever was available early and to our surprise quite a few items were ready even that early. Location is very good. Because of the metro strike we had to either take the bus or walk to most places. Taxi's were trying to rip off at every opportunity and Uber did not have the XL option to take 5 people (We were a family of 5).

I stayed at Hotel Bienvenue for three nights and had a wonderful stay. First and foremost I found the staff so welcoming and accommodating, especially Natalie. She is the best! My boyfriend became sick and she made a doctors appointment for him - and even suggested checking her own doctors availability since we needed something pretty immediately. On top of that, our flights home were cancelled so we ended up booking an extra night at the hotel. While we did have to move from our original room (privileged room, it was booked by someone else) Natalie got us into another room very quickly and seamlessly so my boyfriend could continue to rest. She also made a great dinner suggestion for us via UberEats since we ended up having to stay in. We stayed in room 505 for two nights and room 12 across the courtyard for one night. The first room was a smaller bedroom with a very large and comfortable bathroom (and the tub! The tub was amazing!) The second room had a smaller bathroom but the room itself was larger. I care about design and this hotel is really beautiful. I loved the floral accents everywhere. It was all tasteful with a little quirkiness too. The hotel is a renovated older building, so yes the walls are thin but c’est la vie. The tiny elevator was fun! Location is good and close to the Cadet metro station. We loved exploring Rue des Martyrs with great boutiques and restaurants. Would definitely book at Hotel Bienvenue again!

Booked to stay 3 nights at Hotel Havane back in November but then amended this to 4 nights and confirmed this with the hotel prior to arrival. All was well. However, it then went downhill.... On arrival, we paid for our stay as normal using a debit card. We were given the price of the hotel on booking.com in GBP but since we were charged in Euros, we had no idea what the correct price should have been, and put our good faith in the hotel that they knew the price that THEY charge for a room. For five days we stayed at this hotel and were greeted by the concierge, and not ONCE did they raise the fact that we had been undercharged for our stay by one night. On the Eurostar back to London, my mum was alerted by her bank that money had been attempted to be taken from her account. She had NEVER handed her bank card over and used it only in the card machine to pay for our stay so HOW ON EARTH had they managed to charge her card???????? Unless the machine clones cards?? The hotel was booked on booking.com using my card so it wasn't linked to any account of hers that they could have taken these details from. After contacting the hotel, they had said that their receptionist "was not paying attention" during check-in when we were paying, and as such, had mis-charged us. Instead of contacting us about this, they tried to steal the money!!!!!!! I was FURIOUS and after several back and forths via email, I said I refused to pay for a mistake I didn't make. Fast forward 2 months and these scammers managed to track down my bank card which was linked to my booking.com account and charge this!!!!! NO CORRESPONDENCE TO ME AT ALL.....JUST WHIPPED THE MONEY STRAIGHT FROM MY ACCOUNT!!! I disputed this with my bank, and they refunded the money - YET THESE SCAMMERS, A MONTH LATER HAVE TAKEN THE MONEY AGAIN!!!!!! AFTER I HAVE CANCELLED MY BANK CARD!!!!!! And again, no word from them at all. You'd think since it was their mistake and for the sake of 85 Euros they would attempt to keep their customers and reputation - but it appears not! These people are dodgy and dangerous and I have no idea what kind of despicable "hotel" they are running. Be warned - PAY IN CASH. Do not give these criminals your bank card as they will keep taking money from you. I have spread the word far and wide about this awful place and will keep doing so to protect other guests.

Me and my partner stayed at the Hotel Pax Opera back in October 2018, to celebrate a birthday, anniversary and to my surprise a proposal! My partner booked our trip to Paris so I had no idea where we were staying so everything about the hotel was going to be a surprise to me. Here are our pros and cons of our stay at Hotel Pax Opera: Pros: - Great Location! The hotel is a few minutes walk away from a main underground metro station called Cadet station (which we used alot on our travels in and around Paris) and a 10 - 15 minute walk from Gard du Nord train station. It is also in a great location for shops and tourist services. - Welcoming, comfortable stay : From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the receptionist(s) and staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Whenever we weren't sure about a place or ask for recommendations on attractions, shops etc, they did their best to point us in the right direction on a map they provided us with. The wifi provided was grand, their is a lift but can only hold two people/ one person with large luggage at a time and their is also a computer free to use for guests if you need to use it for eg; print out boarding passes, information on your travels etc. - As for our room, good size, very clean, quiet and comfortable! The bed, bathroom, storage, air conditioning etc, was all super! Our room I think was on the 2/3rd floor and it was right beside a busy side street but we barely heard anything except for cars beeping. We did not (maybe we got lucky) experience any problems in regards with bed bugs which seems to be a continuing problem with other guests staying at this hotel. It was an ongoing issue then and it seems to be still ongoing a year later. I hope the hotel management resolves sooner rather than later as the hotel is absolutely wonderful given its staff, location and comfort. - Love the Paris vibe decor! : The decor and layout of the hotel really gave us Paris vibes which we loved. Their was a mix of modern theme decor too with the room we stayed in. Cons: - As much as we enjoyed our stay, their were a few things to point out that might need looking at some time and improved. - Our room was super! but their were some noticeable things that needed looking at like scruff marks on the walls from previous use, their was a small worn out looking gap under the door which was wide enough to be a peep hole. (yes I knelt down and looked under to discover a nice view of the landing floor we were on) it's not like the room needed a major re-haul or updating, just small maintenance repairs that could be sorted now and then. - I wouldn't know if this would be a big thing or not for people, but we could hear clearly other peoples conversations outside on the landing floor on the other side of our room door. Not all the time but sometimes in the morning we could hear other people talking and they were kinda loud. - We organised with the receptionist a airport transfer on

There are lots of Ibis hotels in Paris, but we find this particular one to be a good balance of price, comfort and location. We have used it several times over the years and always find ourselves coming back. The location is really good with metro access nearby, lots of shops and even good bakeries and restaurants in the neighborhood. The rooms are standard Ibis rooms, while small, they have a very comfortable bed. The staff has also always been helpful to us when we have been here. This time, our flight was delayed and so we arrived a day later, but after a quick email exchange they were nice enough to ensure that our rooms were not given away to someone else.

The location is not far from the nearby subway stations and can be reached in a few minutes. The location should also be fairly safe. There are supermarkets nearby and there are many Chinese restaurants nearby. Living in the triple room, the room is not big, the toilet is not too big, but it is enough, but it is relatively old. The main shortcoming is that the sound insulation of the room is not good. At least the room I live on the third floor is like this. I can hear the cough chat next door, and the sound of the car downstairs can be heard, so it is best to confirm the sound insulation effect. In addition, there is only one elevator, which is very small, and can only be used by one person and one suitcase.

Golden Hotel Paris was the perfect combination of price and accommodation for our time in Paris. it is very well located, whether you decide to walk to use transport to get to landmarks and attractions. within walking distance you'll have an array of restaurants enough to not want to leave the area. The staff was very amicable and accommodating.

Our favorite hotel was booked so we stayed here during the recent Paris strikes. Great location. Easy walk to Opera, Montmartre and the major department stores as well as our favorite Republique neighborhood. Tiny rooms but great water pressure in the showers. Nice breakfast, Great lobby hangout space. The hotel stays was fabulous especially given they were short staffed themselves due to the strike and the inability of staff to get to work. They were cheerful and ever helpful and very ingenious about finding ways to get travelers to the airports without cabs, buses or metro.

A simple and basic hotel that does the job! The rooms are clean and contemporary. If you're looking for a simple hotel with basic facilities this is a great one. Great location and easy to access etc. On the main road but still quiet. Only improvement would be air con or a more powerful fan for hot summer nights.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
