Belle Mare
Mauritius
|29.06km from city centerWe have just spent nine days at the Sunrise Attitude and I could not recommend it more highly. We arrived first thing in the morning after travelling for 24 hours and were greeted at the gate with cold drinks. Our luggage was taken straight to a secure room, we were shown to the breakfast buffet and then taken to a well equipped shower/changing room so that we could start our holiday immediately. I would recommend having a small bag packed with everything you need. Check in wasn’t until 1400 but our room was ready much earlier and this was greatly appreciated. We had a partial sea view room which was above one of the swim up rooms. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, a large comfortable bed with a mattress topper, a powerful shower and a nice balcony. We visited the lovely ladies in the bulk shop every day to get supplies of freshly ground coffee, local vanilla tea, cold drinks and snacks for our room. The staff at the hotel were the friendliest and most helpful of anywhere we have ever stayed. They made the trip really special. They could not do enough to ensure that we were happy and had everything we needed each day. I would have loved to be able to thank everyone individually but there were so many people that we met each day, from every team, that we loved chatting with. We were ‘All Inclusive’ and were really pleased we chose this option. The choice of food and drinks was so extensive that it never occurred to us to order anything supplemented. We enjoyed the juices, mocktails and cocktails at the bars, we loved having drinks at the bar in the pool on hot afternoons and the cold drinks from the cart by the beach were very welcome. The local lychee rosé wine was delicious with our evening meals. The food is superb and really made our trip. We enjoyed the breakfast buffets of fresh fruit, cereals, hot and cold foods. Curry for breakfast was a real novelty for us! We will particularly miss the vegan pancakes with banana jam. Where we ate lunch depended on what activities we had planned during the day but all options were great - the buffet at The Social House, the menu at the Papaya Bar and the street food at Taba J (fantastic!) The evening meals were excellent. An extensive buffet at The Market with lots of fish and vegan options. We ate at the Kot Nou twice and were really pleased we were able to try the traditional Mauritian dishes- delicious! Our favourite option was the tapas at The Social House and we ate here three times. Both the Kot Nou and The Social House need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance but availability was never a problem for us. There are lots of activities available for anyone who wants to participate. We enjoyed yoga, tai chi, meditation and Secret Sunrise. Our favourite was the glass bottomed boat and afternoon snorkelling trip that we did many times. We had full body massages at the Spa at the beginning of our stay and this was a great way to relax, unwind and recover from our journe

|27.89km from city centerThe surrounding area of the hotel is really desolate, it is farmland, but it is because of this, the hotel is very quiet, not noisy, I like it very much, the suite is really big, my husband and I are super satisfied, only stayed for three nights and felt that it was still unfinished. Mauritius Unless you live near the port of Louisville, the location of the basic resort is relatively remote. Although Banyan is not very big, it is very special. As far as the room is concerned, I feel better than the Long Beach we stayed in because of We also watched the sunset in the northwest area, it was very complete~ the hotel staff were very warm, let us have a warm feeling of home!

Mauritius
|38.17km from city centerOn arrival I was a little disappointed. The rooms are small. When I got my bearings I realised that everything I needed was in the room. It was clean and Manisha looked after us wonderfully. The staff in general were amazing. Edil, Dennis and Zhaarfir were absolutely the best. There were some staff that were less attentive and you often waited quite a while for service. There is a bar on the beach but it is not always open or staffed. There are definitely not enough sun beds. Towards the end of our holiday some people took to putting towels on the beds first thing. I believe the staff should remove those towels as often the people only turned up late afternoon. It took me a while to get my head round the cost of the evening meal. Although it generally worked I did not expect to spend my holiday having to calculate the cost of my meal. The food was amazing and if you didnt enjoy something they always offered an alternative. Our departure was a late one and you need to vacate your room by 11.30am. There is a departure room for storing your luggage and shower facilities. I think it would be better to be given a time slot for using this as my husband just got in the shower when the staff told us someone else needed the room as they were leaving in half an hour. This is a room where people come and go freely so privacy is difficult. My main problem was breakfast. The choice was fabulous and the food again delicious. However, at 7am the bread and pastries are brought out. Fortunately we are early risers so got to the pastries before the birds! The pastries are uncovered and the birds feast on them. Nibbling them, walking on them and sitting on the light above them so the possibilty of pooping on them!! I understand that we are on an island with beautiful birds but the food should be protected. I do hope the hotel reads this review and addresses this as there were many people who complained about this.

Palmar Coast
Mauritius
|29.39km from city centerWhere shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. OUr warmest thanks to Vidusha!! But also to Vinesh, Med, Vajna and Vashish (I Hope I got the names right) We hop to see you soon!

Bel Ombre
Mauritius
|22.93km from city centerThe Hotel is excellent, and it's located in a very beautiful place in Mauritius with amazing beaches. The staff is very lovely and helpful, the service is a very high standard, and you can see that the management of the Hotel is investing to be on top of their game. The food is excellent, and has a good variety in the restaurants and menus for an all-inclusive hotel. My family and I stayed for 12 days and rented a car to explore the Island. The Hotel offered a service to pack a picnic basket (free of Charge for all-inclusive guests) every time we went outside the Hotel. These small things add up, and you can really see the extra mile the Hotel team is putting for their guests. The only thing that needs slight improvement is the WiFi connection and speed in the Hotel. In some areas of the Hotel, the WiFi coverage was not the best. I noticed it because it was in my room, but the rest of the areas were ok.

The rooms were well-maintained with a clear sea view and a view of the plunge pool. The quality of food, upkeep of the restaurants and all public spaces were immaculate!
Many exciting water activities that were complementary with our stay as well as various themes provided at dinner time to keep guests entertained. Kevin and his team will be sure that you leave with the biggest smile on your face after each meal!

|20.07km from city centerThe southern hotel is very elegant, the room in the camphor is very comfortable, and the spacing between the villas is very wide and feels very good. The hotel environment is also good, breakfast is delicious. After three days of stay, the waiter sent chocolate every night. On the last day, knocking on the door knocked like an exaggeration. In the bathroom, I was scared to death. My husband was on the balcony. He didn’t hear it outside. I didn’t have it afterwards. Complaint, think about it. The overall stay of the hotel feels good. However, there are not many water projects, and the hotel may not have much activity.

|26.53km from city centerThe location of the hotel is average, although there is no beach at the beach, the only thing is very secluded. The yard where the hotel is located is very large and there are many houses for short and medium term rental. Hotel facilities are relatively old, but it is a bit special, the hotel lobby is not big, the bird cage inside is feeding a few birds. The service is OK. If you have dinner, there are two restaurants, one bar to choose from, and one that is open to Asian restaurants opened by Malaysians. The price of the local restaurant below is acceptable. The hotel's WIFI is very poor and often does not receive signals in the rooms.

|37.95km from city centerAfter a wonderful 14-day holiday in Mauritius, it was a break. You can only find a low-cost place in the local area to prepare for long-term adherence. The level of the hotel is like home, but with kitchen and living room. The boss is Dutch and fat. The proprietress is a local black man. The two stayed in the hotel. For the first time, they forgot to buy salt for cooking, so they asked them to solve it. The rooms are cleaned twice a week and the facilities are average. The last time I left was at 11pm. I discussed with the boss and checked out at 6pm. I agreed very easily. Oh, there are two very small swimming pools in the hotel. The place is hard to find, there are buses on the road, but I haven't. I tried to go out once on foot. Although this is a good community by local standards, it still feels very deserted, especially at night. Finally rented a car.

|27.46km from city centerWe recently stayed for 8 nights at the Bubble Lodge, and had the opportunity to try 3 of the 4 bubbles: Lake & Sea view (2 nights), Ocean view (3 nights) and Eco Lodge (3 nights). Just missed out on the Banyan for this time. Great experience. Being a golfer, it was on my bucket list. Challenging course and the most amazing views on the Indian Ocean. Amazing feeling, especially early mornings and late afternoon to have the island for yourself. The whole staff is just wonderful: Our butlers, the Club House & kitchen staff taking care of us at breakfast and dinner, the team at the beach bar for they day caring, the golf club team members. Just AMAZING! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We loved the food and variety proposed, Mauritian food & curries being central. Also, quite easy to go and visit the Island from there and return to a quite heaven after that (we rented a car from Yash for a day (Yash Car rental Mauritius – trou d’eau douce)) and were able to visit some “must do’s” from there. Would we recommend it? Definitely. For 1 or 2 nights, and also for a whole week if you ask us! Blessed to have come across this address and grateful to have spend some days with this amazing team

Belle Mare
Mauritius
|30.04km from city centerI had the sheer pleasure of staying at the Constance Belle Mare Plage for 10 days in April with my now-fiancée, an experience that exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, the tranquil paradise of Mauritius embraced us, matched only by the outstanding service and attention to detail provided by the hotel staff. The central figure orchestrating our memorable stay was Adasha, who is truly the embodiment of hospitality. Whether it was our daily breakfast service, ensuring our comfort throughout the day, or even arranging an incredibly romantic proposal setup, she attended to every detail with remarkable diligence and warmth. Her dedication and care made her not just a wonderful hostess but a cherished part of our experience. We rate her an emphatic 10+/10. Equally remarkable was Kailash. With his innate knack for arranging romantic breakfasts and dinners in our room, his charismatic presence as he drove us around the resort in his buggy, and his assertiveness that ensured all our needs were met, he was instrumental in making our holiday complete. His personable demeanor is a true credit to the hotel. Our appreciation extends to the room service team as well. Koomar, Veenaye, Joanne, Tarvesh, Nitesh, and Sanjeev all contributed to facilitating a seamless and unforgettable experience. Their collective attention to detail, promptness, and friendly demeanor were remarkable. However, the standout personality and the heart of the Constance Belle Mare Plage was Kris. You will find him on the beach, armed with an unbeatable selection of cocktail recommendations. His mixology skills are top-notch, and his engaging conversations coupled with a fantastic sense of humor made our beach days exceptionally memorable. Kris was not only an employee of the hotel but became a friend who enriched our stay. In summary, our experience at the Constance Belle Mare Plage was truly magical, fueled by the unwavering dedication of its staff, the beauty of its surroundings, and the exceptional level of service that made us feel like royalty. We have created unforgettable memories here, and we can’t wait to return next year. If you’re considering a trip to Mauritius, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Ile aux Cerfs Lagoon
Mauritius
|25.84km from city centerI chose the four seasons because I believe that the four seasons are consistently high quality, very good environment and location, the staff take care of my feelings, except for one, I will elaborate below. Not only did I change the villa in a better location, but the vehicle I ordered twice was upgraded to the best SUV. The driver who accompanied me to Port Louis, Steve, was attentive, very kind, hot, and patiently accompanied I walked under the big sun and introduced the humanities customs very carefully. The hotel is full of villas, super beautiful and super beautiful, just take a big picture. The beau champs in the western restaurant are super beautiful and super beautiful. I like it the most. Of course, the bambau by the pool is also good. Since I had just encountered the epidemic for a few days, everyone took it very seriously and was very responsible. But my only regret is that because I booked a hotel car to go to the airport, a staff member at the airport accompanied me to check-in, but when I said that due to the current situation, I would usually take the initiative to take care of the feelings of others When maintaining a greater distance from other people in public places, the female staff member said that she understood, not only without confirmation, that maybe my Emirates flight to Shanghai might stop Fei, and she has always ignored me. Instead, she chatted with the two European guests who lined up in front of me, as if she was accompanying them to check-in, and did not take care of my feelings at all. As I said just now: I take care of the feelings of others. If the staff member does not agree that her work requires close contact with guests from areas with various conditions, then she can choose other jobs that do not require this. I saw a Chinese employee in reception. Would you please give an explanation of the Chinese-speaking staff at Four Seasons Hotel? Thank you.

Good service (but we had better at other 5 star hotels)
Beautiful pools (especially the adult pool)
Good breakfast
Spacious room
Lots of water activities
Cons
Room (wooden) floor squeaked loudly when walked on
We stayed downstairs and we could hear people in the room above us walking, closing the door, dragging their chair (a lot when they returned from dinner late around midnight) We had bad nights because of this.
Room AC is not cold. Even though it’s set at the lowest (18.5c) it felt like 25c
Overall, it was an ok stay but we won’t stay here again.

|29.99km from city centerStay from January 9 to 22, 2024 – villa no. 206 We very rarely leave comments on social networks, rightly or wrongly, but this experience is worth telling. We were admirably delighted with our two weeks spent at the Oberoi - Mauritius hotel and can only recommend it to anyone looking for relaxation, in a heavenly environment and in a luxurious structure, with a high level of services. The escape begins just after booking, some 9,000km away. The reception and concierge team were responsive and very attentive in organizing our stay before our arrival. Vinay, the driver, will be the first face of the Oberoi that we meet. During the journey from the airport, in a luxurious sedan, he immerses us in the Mauritian atmosphere and presents the hotel to us eloquently, which suggests the best. He hands us his business card, making himself available for the days to come. Arriving at the hotel, a personalized welcome with check-in directly in your villa: exclusivity (that’s true luxury!) is felt and will reign for the rest of the stay. The staff ensured our comfort in a very professional manner, while maintaining human warmth: we feel at home, almost with family, but always with the required distance. We felt considered and this constitutes one of the strengths of the establishment. We would like to warmly thank the employees of the Oberoi, who contributed to making our stay exceptional: • At the restaurants and private dining: Aum, Chris, Nirvan, Oomar, Prakash, Rabin, Vashish, Yodish who were able to advise us , delight our taste buds, prepare delicious cocktails with always impeccable service and in particular Shaan, for his generosity, who did everything possible to make our stay extraordinary and make us feel unique and privileged, • For Housekeeping: Ashwinta, Huvish , Neetu, Vasudha and Vinesh who were able to create a true luxurious second home in our villa, in which nothing was ever lacking, • At the Spa: Anjanee, Hasna, Isabelle, Naina, Rachna who took care of us with massages of very high quality, in a lush environment conducive to relaxation, • And of course Henrio, this “wise man” who took care of our minds with his private classes in Yoga, Tai Chi, Relaxation & Breathing. We will take and will keep his valuable advice. We would also like to express our gratitude to all those who are in the shadows (pool attendants, gardeners, maintenance employees, etc.) and undoubtedly the chefs and kitchen teams, who discreetly collaborate to achieve excellence. of this establishment. We got to the room and found out that they upgraded us (without telling us). The upgraded room was a big suite which was very nice but it was on the ground floor. We booked a junior suite balcony which is upstairs (we prefer upstairs as more privacy and better view) we had to ask to move to the type of room that we actually booked for! (What a waste of time for everyone) the room was very beautiful and comfortable and we LOVED the balcony. We love le Morne beach the water is so clear with different shades of blue but here we find the beach to be a bit too wide so you are a bit far from the sea (we stayed at another hotel in Le morne and we found there we were closer to the see with better view of Le Morne) Plenty of available sun beds. The sand on the Mei'an is slightly whiter and thinner. Be careful. The walk is still acceptable; the rooms are larger and more modern; the sea view is better for Mount Mona. Sitting in the seaside is very eye-catching. After a day, the hotel is too lazy to move. If you are chasing dolphins, it is also near the Mount Mona. |26.88km from city centerWe checked in with disappointment and complaints about the room and the hotel in overall. The pictures on the Internet are very deceiving compared to what you actually see when you go there. This place badly need renovation and it needs to be closed down. Once, the place have the makeover then it should reopen. I got a room which was not convenient at all for my baby especially as we live in a very clean and beautiful house. It was extremely disappointing to pay for such mediocrity. I made sure that Eclesia knew how disappointed we were and I requested to pay for a seaview room and she tried to arranged for that. We saw the room but we were still not happy and I was thinking to cancel my stay. However, Eclesia felt my concern and shared it with The Manager Kris who then upgraded us to a better room at no cost. The view at the hotel is mesmerising both sunset and sunrise. The food at the restaurant is very limited in variety but it was very very tasty. Hats off to the Chef. The ladies at the restaurant was very nice to us and Kris cane to us several times during our stay we make sure we were okay.

Next, let's say that the service is not very satisfactory~ The reception service at the beginning made us sit down and drink the drink check in. It is quite good, but it will not work later. First, the extra bed was not added until the evening. Later, it was reminded for a long time before the room card was broken. It was repeated three times before it was done. The children's slippers and scissors were added to the third day when they left. The overall service feels. I can't reach it, I don't know if it is the reason for the full house! Once it was completely packaged in the restaurant, there was a lot of cash inside. Later, I was told that I was at the front desk and I was sent back. This is worthy of praise. Finally, talk about hygiene. After washing the kettle in the room, there is still a lot of garbage coming out. I thought it was a problem with water quality. After drinking it for two days, I found a filter inside. The filter is full of rubbish, really too Disgusting, it seems that the kettle should be used after washing. The beachside water facilities in the hotel are free to rent, the coastline is very long, there are two large reefs on it, the water quality is good, it is still very fun. The hotel is close to the dolphins, so it’s an advantage at 8:30 in the morning!

Pointe Aux Biches
Mauritius
|33.59km from city centerAmazing little place! Yanish and the colleagues on front of house were very welcoming and helpful during all of our stay, every interaction we had with them was positive. The room was very spacious, the shower was absolutely huge, and the varanda facing the pool area was great. The facilities were very clean, rooms and communal areas always spot on. We got our stay with breakfast included and it was delicious, both options (continental and english) were tasty and good size for a plated meal. Team working in the restaurant was efficient and welcoming, ensuring the food got to us straight from the kitchen. Beach right in front of the hotel is a bit rocky, but if you walk less than 1 minute you have a perfect spot. Amazing place, highly recommend it. Just a few suggestions: The place the bed frame as it wasn't in a good shape Extractor fan in the toilet not working properly Softer shower towels (the ones for the pool were super soft, but for the shower weren't)

Le Morne
Mauritius
|27.11km from city centerBacked by Mona Mountain, the scenery is unique and the various services and facilities are very satisfactory. Sharing facilities with the Paradise Hotel next to it made it impossible for me to eat all the restaurants in the two hotels in two days. The most impressive thing is that I need to check out at 5:30 in the morning and go out to see dolphins and whales, telling the hotel staff in advance. Although it was too late to eat breakfast, I thought that the check-out time was too early. The restaurant had not started to make breakfast, and I didn't ask for a packaged breakfast. I planned to pack some food when I had dinner the day before. Because I was bumping on the boat for a long time, I was afraid of eating too much and vomiting. I wanted to pack some bread. As a result, the bread for dinner was very hard. My wife and I discussed if there was a sliced bread, or I would not pack it. Buy some food on the way to the pier. After dinner, my wife and I strolled around the hotel for a while and then looked at the beautiful night view of the hotel. After the stroll, someone knocked on the door as soon as I entered the room. After opening the door, he found that it was the waiter, he handed me a box and said that sir this is your breakfast for tomorrow, it was a little surprised, too thoughtful. Then open the box to see what it is, and find that it is different flavors of sliced bread, a few fruits and two small bottles of juice. At 5:30 the next morning, after checking out, my wife and I sat in the lobby and ate our breakfast... What I could think of was the word last night, so considerate!
