I saw that there were many bad reviews but i still booked it anyway. I was looking for cheapest accomodation in downtown and also something closer by walking for 1 night stay in Flagstaff. Location is good i guess , you can walk to many restaurants and downtown areas. Check in process was easy and quick. Due to corona the check in guy was inside the room and i was standing outside communicating through the window. It was 50 dollar per night after tax and service. No bfast but i dont really care. Room is spacious and clean looking. I was afraid that the room will be dirty, ac not working or maybe hot water is not working but everything was fine so i am happy enough.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very impressed by this motel! All the women at the front desk were very friendly, kind and accommodating, even keeping our bag on our last day before our flight and giving us free toiletries like toothpaste. Felt very safe for two girls and Room 132 had 2 large comfortable double beds, a clean bathroom and microwave. The housekeeping are so efficient to clean and the breakfast is more than enough with cereal, yogurts, toast, pancakes, fruit, coffee etc. Very close to campus and also town for restaurants! Would happily stay again.

While the hotel sits at a convenient location, the asthetics within the room themselves are hideous. everything is so old and outdated, the bathrooms are worse than a convenient store's. toilet was cracked, stained cigarette burns in top sitting ring, bathtubs were dirty looking (?) fills with water as you shower, couldnt even bathe children. hot &cold water fluctuate when the nextdoor room would flush their toilet or turn on their water (walls so thin sounded like neighbors were in same room!) shower heads were nasty with hard water residuals water spurting out from the sides, pillows on beds felt like balled up chunks of some sort of filling, inconsistent with being able to generally support head/neck for a decent night's sleep. Blankets very thin and inadequate for the cooler weather. wall heater was on 90 (the highest heat setting) room was still freezing. the wasTVs so old unable to support external media of any kind none the less with smart apps such as Netflix, hulu...etc. couldn't even connect via personal device using USB cord or mirror cast.. Phone by the bedside had zero menu for contacts such as front desk, houskeeping, etc.chairs for the sitting table in the room were so disgusting and stained we didn't even want to sit in them! the above stated is a basic review to give you an idea of what you may be in for should you chose this hotel.

This stay was so disappointing. We're Diamond members so we get to a lot of Hilton properties. The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating on check in, but it was the room maintenance that was just awful. The AC/Heat vent leaked all night and you could hear the drips. The rug was pulled back and worn out in front of the refrigerator and coffee maker and the staples were exposed so when I went to make my coffee in bare feet in the morning, the staple went right into my foot. The bathroom light flickered like a strobe light whenever you turned it on. These aren't service concerns, these are safety concerns. I mentioned it to the front desk, but they didn't seem concerned. If the leak had drenched towels it probably was leaking to the floor below. And if exposed staples are going into guests feet because of lack of room maintenance, it's a problem.

Blue, the front desk associate, has some of the worst communication skills I've seen in customer service. He is extremely hostile and quick to raise his voice to yell at customers. He seems mentally unbalanced and is not a good face for the business. I made a reservation online and arrived with a small camper in tow. Blue immediately assured me that it wouldn't be possible for me to park anywhere on the premises, though I'd already paid to stay the night. When I asked ”surely you aren't that busy, the parking lot has many open spaces”, he raised his voice to yell at me that as a policy they do not accept oversized vehicles and I needed to find somewhere else to stay. I am a young woman traveling alone and grown men yelling at me is scary, so I left the premises to find another hotel to stay at. I called the agency I booked the hotel through to cancel the reservation. Blue reassured them on the phone that he can't do a refund because one guest can only take up 2 parking spaces. My car and camper can detach and take up exactly 2 spaces. This detail would have been helpful to hear initially instead of being yelled at and shooed away so I could resolve the situation. Because I booked another hotel room at Blue's insistence, and then he refused me a refund. I returned to the hotel to clarify with Blue that I would have liked to know the bit about being able to take up 2 parking spots because I could have fixed the problem and stayed there instead of paying for 2 hotels, but he started raising his voice at me, telling me the blatant lie that he ”was trying to tell me that, but I wouldn't listen”, and continued to scream at me to get off his property. As long as this man is working here, I'd recommend staying far away from this business. I've attached some photos of the open parking in the lot.

Do not give this hotel money. I will just leave the email I sent to them as a review. ”Hello, I booked a room in Hotel Aspen inn suites from from June 7th until the 9th. Upon arrival we were told we would need move all of our things from our room the next morning because they needed the room that we were given. We were told we would be given an identical room later the next day, but where my irritation comes from is that if the room was identical why did we need to repack all of our things instead of giving the free room to the people that were coming the next day? The manager said it's because the people had booked it almost a month and half ago, but so did we. We paid for the room for two full days thinking we would have a fridge, only to be told we needed to pack it all up. We wasted money on food that we in turn had to throw out because of your hotels inability to schedule properly. The room was also in a sad state, the phone was on the floor with no table , there were only 4 towels in a room meant for 6 people, no wash clothes, the sofa bed actually hurt to sleep on and there were no pillows or blankets for the sofa bed. The second room didn't even have a sheet for the sofa bed. I am requesting to have a partial refund for our room. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. If you are going to have someone leave a room they paid for, at least give them a warning before they arrive. Having the manager tell me that we agreed to this was also infuriating seeing as we had no other choice, we had to agree or have no room at all. I had 3 children with me, I can't sleep in my car. ” I use the term ”manager ” loosely. She was basically just telling my it was our fault for agreeing and if we wanted we could leave the entire time I was talking to her. The pool also had a lock on it the two days we stayed there, and your socks turned black if you walked in the floor.

The hotel is a relatively new and advanced motel in the United States, the service is very good, the suite I live in, the bathroom is very big, the son's sofa bed can sleep well. It is the location too far from the Grand Canyon. I am set too late and during the tourist season, I can only live there. By the way, it was a bit hard.

This hotel shares a check in desk with Howard Johnson’s and don’t try to check in before 3:00pm. Our room was clean but the pillows might have been stuffed with toilet paper rolls they were so lumpy. There is a lot of debris floating in the pool that is also shared with HJ so you have to cross a parking lot to use it. There is supposed to be a complimentary breakfast but when we asked about it we were told it was take out and we were grudgingly handed a bag with a fruit cup, granola bar, danish, and a soggy bean burrito. They could definitely do better.

Hotel was great, reasonable central location to big sightseeing areas. Fitness centre was ok. But the biggest downfall here for this hotel was the thin walls. We could hear voices/TVs at all hours (particularly mornings as lots of people were heading out early for tours). Could be just a joint room problem? Otherwise a very nice stay.

My wife and I recently stayed overnight at The Twin Arrows during a Flagstaff getaway. What a great experience! A previous review noted one disappointment after another. Perhaps, based on that review, the ****** and hotel ”upped” their game, because we had a fantastic time! First of all, the customer service was excellent. As good, if not better than what you would receive in Las Vegas. From the ”kids” at the valet and front entrance to the check in staff, housekeeping and gaming staff, everyone was friendly and very helpful. We were also very happy to see that most, if not all of the staff was at least native, more probably Dine. Okay. So this five-story property isn't much to look at on the outside. But once inside, you realize where all the time and money was spent! A gorgeous foyer, spacious ****** with wonderfully high ceilings, a cool sports bar and café, an elegant steak house, and artistically wonderful hallways. Our room was spacious, clean and very quiet (a very heavy room door helped). It was tastefully appointed with cool native decor with hints of art deco. (BTW - we had a King view room.) The bathroom was very, very spacious with a two-sink set-up (a rarity) and a separated toilet. The walk-in shower was big enough for two. He had a terrific dinner in the Zenith steakhouse and a wonderful breakfast (including wonderful fry bread) in the Four Elements Café (reviewed separately). Here is the big suggestion. If you are looking to be close to downtown Flagstaff, this is NOT your hotel. Located off of the I-40, this hotel is PERFECT however if you want to be close to Winslow, the Homlovi Ruins, Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater or the Petrified National Forest and Painted Desert. We used to think that the La Posada was the only elegant game in town in the area. This property has changed our minds. We will be back!

We stayed here for a night en route to the Grand Canyon. Flagstaff is a useful overnight stop from Phoenix. We booked this hotel because it was a little cheaper than some of the others and on approach it did look a bit seedy in the reception area. The public areas and general corridors could certainly do with some additional tender loving care. Nevertheless, once we got in the room all was absolutely fine and it looked to me as though the room had recently been refurbished, with nice LED lighting in the bathroom and all the space, facilities and air con and other things that one would expect from a three star hotel. The staff were pleasant, if a little gruff. The hotel is close to a busy rail line with trains running through the night. If this bothers you, ask for a room at the front of the hotel. We decided not to opt for the (additional fee) breakfast in the diner next-door but went to a local, excellent, iHop. Nevertheless, overall, I would recommend this as a reasonable place for an overnight stop.

Opposite the hotel, there is a golf course in a good environment. The American style of breakfast is quite limited, and there are no waffles that I love. There are eight rows of exits in the second room, so the closure is not too strong and it always feels less secure. The hotel should be a bit old, the facilities are a bit old, but the maintenance is not bad. Overall, OK.

Growing up in Arizona I have passed by this place numerous times over the decades but had never stayed here before. My wife and I are on post retirement a roadtrip and picked this place because of it's close proximity to the downtown area. First, the place is old and worn and not well kept. The rooms are small and cramped and the furniture is decrepit. The comforter on the bed was old and worn out and had cigarette burn holes in it. My wife had lost something on our trip and called back to the hotel to see if it might have been left behind in the room and found the staff very unhelpful. Distinctly and remarkably so. When she called she was told that they were too busy and that she should call back later. When she did she had to REPEATEDLY tell them when we were there, the room number and what we were looking for. After repeated attempts over several minutes she became disconnected in the call and decided it wasn't worth the effort to try again. The place is a dump. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

This was an overall good stay; room was clean, staff were nice, location was good. We checked in a few hours early and were charged $20; never been charged to check in early, but fine. We were charged twice so I later had to dispute with my bank. It's only $20, but it's still $20 so I wasn't going to let it go lol. Our key cards stopped working at some point, and we didn't have any toilet paper upon check-in so we had to request those things. Also, the A/C unit was making noises constantly and kept me up a while; it sounded like there were critters inside of it. So better maintenance I guess? Other than that, everything was all good.

The hotel is a decent American Express hotel, and breakfast is similar to other American Express hotels. Came in with low expectations. Many of the low-middle and middle tier hotels were very pricey or booked out for the weekend probably due to events about town. You get an overall feeling of disrepair of the building; there were big gouges in the concrete in the area we were directed to park. Right outside our room were two plywood panels propped up on the railing that had Danger or something like that written in faded marker. The room furnishings, overall color scheme felt dated and old, the paint was bubbling on the bathroom door and there was trash behind the central cabinet. On the bright side, there were value in the amenities included in the (high) room rate, a large fridge, a microwave, breakfast in the lobby and there was an outdoor swimming pool we didn't use. Breakfast selection was good, a couple of different cereals, toast, bagels, muffins, hot food included eggs, sausage and waffles. There was decent coffee, tea, and a dispenser of apple and orange juice. Unfortunately, the waffle irons were not turned on and both had dripping waffle mix in a mess. Possibly a sign instructing guests would be helpful. The seating area was adequate for the amount of people there around 630Am. We had a room with 2 double beds; the bed was fairly comfortable, there are only three pillows on each bed, it would have been nice to have a fourth. There's a rainfall shower head in the bathroom which had decent water pressure, but can present a problem if you don't want to get your head wet; there were no shower caps provided. The towels were softer and fuller than I expected. There was no box of tissues in the restroom/sink area. Overall, very basic and adequate for our one night stay that was part of a group negotiated rate. Breakfast was the highlight. Not a hint of any luxury though and wouldn't stay there again for the prices we were forced to pay that weekend.
