The Pullman Hotel boasts an excellent location, offering incredibly convenient train access to the surrounding areas of Lyon. Right across the street is the large Westfild mall, complete with a Carrefour, fast-food restaurants, and various shops. The rooms are spacious, with separate wet and dry areas, and are spotlessly clean and well-equipped. What really stood out was the reception staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming. One male front desk attendant was particularly helpful when I asked for directions to some lesser-known attractions; he eagerly looked up the routes online for me. The room's lighting controls were quite innovative, and when I couldn't figure them out on the first night, he personally came up to my room the next day to demonstrate them. This made me feel truly at home. Many thanks to Pullman for such a wonderful experience.

Good location but needs some renovations! Had to sleep with earplugs because the air conditioning makes loud noises several times a minute (note that you can't adjust the air conditioning: you have to call reception who can set the temperature). With a mask because the curtains weren't blackout. I was given the key because the card system wasn't working. First day, cleaning was partially done. Second day, I left for several hours asking for the cleaning to be done: I came back, it wasn't. More thorough cleaning would be desirable, unblock the pipes (shower and sink don't drain), change the toilet brush which is VERY dirty and completely rusty... The staff is very friendly but the hotel really needs a refresh to maintain a 3* rating... The level is lower than Ibis which only has two. The price is 3*. I didn't have breakfast which is a bit expensive in the ground floor room without air conditioning, I preferred to have them in town. So mixed reviews of this hotel...

Because the train line from Gruyere to Lyon had problems, the train detoured to Chambery and then to Lyon, which delayed the trip. I stayed one night near the Lyon high-speed railway station. This Ibis hotel is very close to the Lyon part dieu high-speed railway station, just a 1-minute walk away. The room is of a suitable size and has good sound insulation. I didn't hear much noise from the train at night, and it was not noisy. There were no toothbrushes, slippers, hair dryers, etc. in the room, but I brought them myself. The bed and quilt in the room were clean and comfortable. In short, it is very close to the Lyon part dieu high-speed railway station, and it is very suitable for catching the train and staying for one night

It's next to the station, so it's very accessible. Four people shared one bed and one sofa bed. The room wasn't very spacious for the price, so if you use the sofa bed, there's no desk, so you have to eat takeout meals on the bed. But that didn't bother me. There was a kettle and cups. But no tissues or slippers. You can make coffee or tea on the first floor at any time, but when I tried to use it around 9pm, the coffee maker was turned off, and only water came out when I turned it on. I gave up and tried to make tea using hot water from the kettle, but it was water after all. There was a staff member at the front desk right in front of me, but he was chatting and didn't seem to mind. But the breakfast was better than the same Ibis Styles in CDG, and there was a wide variety. The staff also took good care of me. Overall, I was satisfied.

The hotel met my expectations generally talking. It was bright room, clean enough, the bed is really comfy. Though I wish I could add some square metres to the size of it 😅 Staff on the reception is very friendly and helpful (as I had some issues to solve). I also think they could add some more towels to the room, as I've got 2 only. I was a solo traveller and at the end it wasn't crytical, but as I kind suggestion.

What I like most about the hotel is that the towels are soft and the toiletries are also good! And the view at 6 o'clock in the morning! Because I don't know how to use the blackout curtains, I need to adjust them, and the curtains can't block out the light. I think the carpet is a bit old. Although there is no odor in the room, the corridor, door and carpet are all old styles. I didn't live very comfortably. Although the quilt and bed are very comfortable, I always feel a little gloomy. The waiter is very good! The minibar is free to use, and there is a 14-hour room service. It is not suitable for long-term stay.

I booked a single room, but it was paid for 30 € and changed to a luxurious room in a double room. I didn't know why I was paid because I couldn't speak English, but was the room filled? It was a pain in unexpected expense, but the room was large and very nice room, and it was a very good stay because it was soaked in the bathtub for the first time in a long time. I want to stay next time, but what if I pay an additional fee again ... I'm worried.

The best thing is to have free parking spaces, which are really rare in the city, but the parking spaces are first come first served. If you arrive in the evening, it is basically impossible, and it is recommended to stop the car and don't drive. It is not convenient to drive in the city. The room is small and the design is not very reasonable. The 7-day standard is still equipped with a sink in the corridor. It is better to use the space in the area near the bed. The service is reduced because there is always no one at the front desk. I want to check out twice and can't find anyone. I really don't want to take the time to put the key at the front desk. A great little hotel, the rooms were nice and clean and beds were comfy. The location is great, very convenient with easy access to public transport and also a walkable distance to main areas of Lyon. We enjoyed our stay here. Be mindful that there is no lift which can make it difficult with large luggage but it is just one set of stairs so it is manageable.

Conveniently located right next to the metro station. Staff that helped us check in was nice. There is a passcode to enter pass 8:30 pm. One bad thing about the hotel is there is no housekeeping to make the room and we were not make aware of that by the staff, but we were staying only for 2 nights maybe that’s why. One other thing was that sound proofing was not the best (i could hear people opening and closing doors and cars driving by) but this did not affect my stay much.

Good location close to mini market, opera house and Bachut tram stop. If we point out the friendliness and passiveness of the cleaning staff, such as blood stains around the SDB switch, it can be cleaned within an hour, for example. The food was not tested because accommodation = studio. Cleaning the ”corners” is not a luxury, for example: child stickers left on full-length mirrors and radiators, dirty elevator light panels, this is the 3 * range of the viewfinder. Television: Disconnected 5 basic TNT channels and many foreign channels at night. At the reception: no one can depart from the station at 1:30 pm on Christmas day and can take luggage between noon and 2 pm, so we drag the suitcase because we have to leave before 11 am. Too bad, because the taxi stand is just opposite. Quiet accommodation, if you are on the street, you can find it in the noisy garbage collection.

Excellent location, in the centre next to the most important l9 and the restaurants. Between the two rivers. Incredible views from the room to the theater of Lyon. The room was very small. The floor was inclined. I don't understand how the coat is a square because every time you move you get out of it and very low. There is a breakfast option for €8 more that is paid there consisting of coffee or infusion, a baguette, a crusant and butter, marmelade, nuts ... deserves the value because food in Lyon is hyper expensive.

I am very sorry that I did not stay at this beautiful hotel, but my friends had a wonderful day here. They told me to give a five-star praise. The only downside is that the hotel does not have an elevator, which is a huge challenge for 4 girls with 6 large boxes. But the beautiful lady at the hotel enthusiastically helped carry the luggage, making up for this only shortcoming!
