First impressions are a bit sombre. The hotel is in need of a decorative makeover. Once inside however the hotel is very clean, smoke free, well laid out. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and have a proper AC unit. King size bed and basic shower and toilet. We had room 308 which over looks the Roman amphitheatre. Behind the hotel and up the hill is the Amman Citadel. Both rights are on the must see list when in Amman, and both are an easy walk from the Concord Hotel.

Breakfast is good, after all, in this area where the conditions are not so good, some people will make omelettes for you, coffee and milk juice bread jam. The hotel facilities are old but understandable because it is located in the heart of the old town. It is worth mentioning that the top of the hotel can see the Water Temple, the Roman Theater, very close to several attractions, and you can walk to the surrounding market and Jin Street for a walk, it is a fun experience.

The location is good for shopping, it's right across the road from the Galleria Mall, 2 minute walk. And there are many restaurants, local shopping, and specialty shops with a 3 or 4 block walking distance. Once I arrived in the area, I quickly realized I did need to go anywhere else by car to get some things I needed. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly, I had two or three requests after checking in and each one was taken care of within 10 minutes or less. The rooms have mini kitchens in them with limited dishes, silver ware glasses and cups. Refrigerator, microwave, cook top and hot water kettle are also in the room. Easy to re-warm or prepare limited meals if your prefer to stay in. The hotel has WiFi, ask the reception desk for the password. The room I had was one of the smaller rooms, but it was clean and comfortable. I plan to stay again.

Really lovely find! After first being suspicious we’d be paying far too much at one of the international chain hotels that dominate the Amman market, we settled on the Toledo and were not disappointed. Rooms were large and clean, with nice beds and great aircon. Breakfast was a well equipped buffet for western tourists or a suhoor available to fasting guests (we were there at Ramadan). Very fast and reliable WiFi and a 24 hour menu that was reasonably priced rounded out the experience. The hotel is walkable to the Citadel within 30 minutes and is a cheap (2-3JOD) taxi ride to the more posh parts of western Amman. Would happily stay again!

This is the only hotel I stayed at in Amman so don't know how it compares with othe hotels (especially since it calls itself luxury; I'd consider it average or maybe a little above). Room was spacious but not super clean. Staff was courteous but not particularly helpful, especially in advising where to eat. They just said to go down the road, around the circle and there would be plenty of choices. I did that and couldn't find a lot; besides best restaurant in area (and known for its falafel) turns out to be right across the busy street (which you can get to by walking a half block to the overpass). Location isn't great: on a very busy street far away from more tourist sights (that could be a plus given traffic around the tourist sights although it looks like traffic is bad everywhere). An added negative: even though hotel acknowledged my email cancelling an airport pickup previously arranged, they still sent someone to pick me up and then added it to the bill, hoping I guess that I wouldn't notice. A plus: one of best breakfast seletionns in Jordan

Firstly it is neither a hotel nor a heritage property. In fact the word heritage raised the suspicion of a dated building with musty carpets. It was not. It is a contemporary building and more correctly an apartment. The place is meticulously clean and organised. Located on the Rainbow street it is accessible by foot from the shopping area. There were two spacious rooms and a large lobby with a kitchenette. The views from the rooms are awesome with the citadel seen to the east. The front desk was very helpful.

This is one of my favorite houses! The room is clean, the bed is super comfortable, and the quilt is made of very good materials. The configuration of the room is essential for a 5-star hotel. I booked it once on the first day of check-in to experience the experience, and then I booked it directly for 4 nights. The sleep is super good, and it can completely drive away the rush and fatigue during the day. The socket is super satisfied, so there is basically no need to worry about European plugs or Chinese plugs, either. The desk lamp has an LED reading light, and there are two LED lights on the side of the bed, which is super good! The taste of the hotel owner is still very good, like this hotel, highly recommend it.

We stayed here recently and i have to thank all the staff at this lovely friendly clean hotel. I asked for a kettle for the room unfortunately there was none left. The next morning the manager upgraded us to a suite which had a kitchen that was so nice of him. If you want a good hotel in Amman look no further many thanks again.

The hotel in the city is only 30 minutes to the airport and is not far to many the city's restaurants and shopping places. The rooms have 3 beds or 2 beds and are spacious enough for a short stay. A welcome fruit basket and bottled water is available for each room. The WIFI is very good in the rooms and around the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. the bathroom comes with shampoo, bath gel and body lotion and hair dryer. The hotel areas are clean and the front desk staff speaks reasonably good English. The breakfast is inclusive and the choice and variety of food at breakfast is impressive. There are various kinds of salads, breads, different type of cheeses, butter and jam, cereals and hot milk, apple and orange juices, coffee and tea. My only complaint, the need to know how to make good omelettes..

In all fairness, the hostel only deserves 3 stars based just on facilities. However, the host was friendly, accommodating and helpful without being over the top. He even agreed to share some personal stories from his youth with us which we have greatly appreciated as we wanted to talk to locals. Location: quite central and within walking distance to a few tourist attractions. It wasn't close to the bus station though from where we had to take a bus to Aqaba. If you need a taxi ALWAYS have small change with you and give the exact amount as we had a situation where the driver started bargaining all over again and would not give us the change. Heating; we had to pay extra to have heating in our room but it was a modest, additional amount. I think it was £4 for the whole night. Some other lady complained that she had a 'rough' night with no heating at all. Shower: You have to tell the host when you are about to take a shower otherwise you will not have hot water. The toilets and showers are shared. Rooms: old furniture, nothing was modern, seemed clean enough though. Breakfast: good variety actually. Fruit, vegetables, cakes, boiled eggs, all sorts. Free wifi. Unmarried couples: we had emailed the hostel to doublecheck, but it was fine for us to share a bedroom as an unmarried couple. If I'm not wrong, I think they checked our nationality first so you might want to check yourselves based on your circumstances. I would not recommend this place to people who only stay in modern, luxury hotels. If you are fine with experiencing new things and are looking for what people call 'authentic experience' you will be fine. When I first saw the place I had very low expectations and thought I would hate it but actually, it turned out great.

I stayed at Almond Hotel Apartments for over a month and I can honestly say that I felt so much at home. The units are immaculately clean when you move in and service requests are addressed promptly. The building is excellently managed (special thanks to Zeina + Abdullah!). My thanks also goes to the housekeeping team (Ayman, Saeed, and Amr!) who all go above and beyond to provide the ultimate guest experience. Truly exceptional customer service, warm and welcoming staff and the location is just unbeatable! Strategically located in the heart of Amman. Thank you for having me as a resident!

Our daughter was a CET student attending class at the U of Jordan for Fall 2019. This was a Fall semester abroad from her university in the states. Our desire was to be close to campus and this fit the bill. There is a pedestrian tunnel that runs under Queen Alia Street and it is 50 steps from Gerasa Hotel’s front door and pops up at the entrance gates to U of J. We had a King bed suite with a couch in a small study that folded down to a bed. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with tea, coffee, juices , cereals , falafel, omelette station to name a few. When we arrived we did not have hot water. We called to the front desk and asked them to ‘turn on the hot water’ and it was taken care of immediately. Gerasa Hotel made arrangements for a private driver to pick us up from the airport and when we got thru security there was our name on a sign that the driver held. Could not have asked for a better experience upon arriving to Amman.

From the moment we arrived, my friend and I felt very welcome at the Seven Roses. The staff were so friendly and helpful, offering to help in any way they could. Parking is conveniently located across the street which was helpful as the hotel is outside of Amman Centre although that was not a problem for us. The breakfast was quite varied and anything that wasn’t available on the buffet, the staff did their best to provide. Great value too!

Rarely write reviews, this time to share the problems encountered in this order and Ctrip's handling methods. Due to the docking problem between Ctrip and the supplier, the check-in hotel could not find the order and could not check in. First of all, the hotel is conveniently located, has a good sense of design, the service is in place, and the problem handling is fairly professional. After waiting for more than 40 minutes, Ctrip negotiated with the hotel and informed me that this order may not be successful due to the docking problem. I need to pay the room rate by myself to resolve the check-in first. Before check-out, they called and said this The order was indeed an inconvenience caused by their mistake. The solution was to refund the entire room rate plus 1,300 yuan compensation. But when I checked out, the hotel received my booking information at this time, and instead paid the room rate from the supplier's credit card as usual. At this time, Ctrip's solution changed immediately, and the compensation amount became 200 yuan, and it was explained that this compensation was completely a little bit of their intentions. In principle, there was no compensation for successful occupancy. And refused to provide their compensation standards. This completely denied that it was because of their problems that affected me, but instead became a sympathy for me. This is difficult to accept, customers are completely led by their noses, how everything explains the initiative is in the hands of Ctrip.

The overall hotel is better, it may be the local tourist season, the hotel has fewer guests and is relatively deserted. Breakfast is OK, buffet style is varied. Since we are a business trip for two people, the room is a twin room, the space is not big, the bed is quite small, it looks very crowded, everything else is OK!

The rooms were spotless and spacious with hot showers. Well located at around a 5 minute walk to Galleria Mall. Offers a good airport shuttle service. Our only gripe was with the way in which our check in was handled. We booked in advance and were told to cancel this booking when we arrived as they offered a better rate (around 3JD cheaper). Despite telling the man on reception that we would prefer to proceed so as to not incur cancellation fees he advised us to cancel and took my phone to cancel the booking himself. We were due to incur fees and had to argue hard with the travel company to avoid this. Better to stick with your original booking! Also, we booked another night whilst there for a week later and upon arrival the second time the room we’d booked was not available and only a more expensive one was an option. Poor reception service but the rooms/location were great.

Good value hotel, across the road is AMMAN MALL, which has a very large supermarket CTOWN, you can buy some food, and a Chinese-style restaurant, but I have not eaten. They buy instant noodles, eggs, greens in the supermarket, and use their own electric cooker to cook the noodles. There is a local restaurant next to the hotel, which customers have taken to eat. I feel pretty good. There are not many types of breakfast The gym is also good, I used the treadmill twice

Check-in & check out were smooth. Twin room was well furnished though no notepad or pen (maybe because of covid). It was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. Although high up the view was of the front of the hotel and main road but not a problem as we couldn't hear a thing it was so quiet. Location excellent for Rainbow Street. Don't bother with taxis to Rainbow St. It will take you 15 mins if you stroll,10 mins if fast walk. Neighbourhood is safe and pleasant. We were there in April during Ramadan so only 2 restaurants open, the Mexican and the Lebanese. We had the Iftar meal at the Lebanese one night. It was open to non Muslims and it was amazing. You wouldn't know from the lobby which was so quiet and then you walked into the huge restaurant and it was packed with people enjoying live music & the buffet which was great. As a normal restaurant though i.e. a sit down meal the service at the Lebanese was a bit distracted. However the food was good. Tip: don’t order lots of dishes thinking you'll try a bit of everything because the portions are massive and it was hard finishing even one dish.

We stayed overnight in City Rose on our way to Jerusalem and then returned for another two nights and it was a most enjoyable experience. Our suite was spacious and clean and the breakfast provided was more than adequate. But the best quality about this property is the outstanding customer service - Ahmed and Hussam at Reception, Noor and his breakfast team and the Security man who returned the money I dropped - so impressive. They also took care of our luggage while we were in Israel for four days and not having to cart large suitcases was certainly a blessing. There was nothing the staff would not do to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This property comes highly recommended as it is located among many restaurants and shops. Cheers - Juls

Without doubt, Al Sufara Hotel Suites is one of the best Hotels to book in Jordan. And it's strength is that it wasn't designed to be exotic, it was designed to be authentic and comfortable. That's exactly what I'm looking for when I travel! Check in and check out process was straight forward. 10/10 very friendly and helpful staff. Receptionist was polite, always smiling and helped me out when lockdown happened and I needed information and a cab in the middle of the night. The hotel is ideally located in Amman city centre. You are literally 5 minutes away from the most important places in Amman and the main bus stop that connects you with all Jordan, is very close by. Also a big Mall is just 5 mins walk and a supermarket is across the street. The rooms are of great size with beautiful authentic details and an individual clean bathroom..Coffee table and armchairs was a big plus. Soft bed linen and comfy beds. Internet works perfectly! Very satisfied with our stay, considering how reasonable the price was.
