Resort is set amidst a Beautiful & Picturesque location, away from the hustle and bustle of other busy resort destinations. The entrance to the resort is quite an Adventure! Ideal for a relaxing & quiet family vacation. Warm & Friendly staff, always glad to help with a smile . Well maintained rooms and amenities, could do with a bit of modernisation and luxury to match the price. Sumptuous Buffet Spread! Food Quality and Service at all the F&B Outlets was splendid. Super Cocktails! Fantastic” Instagramable”views of the ocean from the rooms and the swimming pool.!, Hence Didn't feel the need to venture out of the resort ! Would definitely come back again

Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi
Krabi | 0.58km from Monkey Trail
Centara Ao Nang is a decent mid sized property right on the Ao Nang beach. We stayed here for 4 nights from 5th June 22 till 9th June. For 3 nights we had a Pool view Premier deluxe room in 3rd floor and last night we had a pool access room in ground floor. Rooms are decent sized, Sleep quality good. Linens, towels clean, no issues there. We had two connecting rooms. The property has two pools, one centrally placed huge pool with slides and the other a smaller one near the beach with a beach bar. The breakfast spread is decent but gets monotonous after two days as menu is almost same. Staff very polite and helpful. Overall great place to stay in Krabi at this price point. Spa Cenavaree is very good. Don't go for cheap ones available outside since the service here is way better. Recommended for stay with family.

BlueSotel SMART Krabi Aonang Beach
Krabi | 0.62km from Monkey Trail
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 1 week towards the end of our trip. This is a new modern hotel. The staff are more than friendly and always greet you with a smile. The cafe downstairs is nice and offers good food and drink options. Overall this is a brilliant hotel within walking distance to the main strip with pubs/ restaurants. They have a small gym with modern equipment. The spa is nice too with the staff also being so friendly. Overall had a brilliant stay here and would recommend, great value for money.

Golden Beach Resort
Krabi | 0.73km from Monkey Trail
My recent stay at this hotel was a mixed bag of emotions. On the positive side, the room itself was lovely, with a spectacular view that truly took my breath away. Right on the beach , away from
The hustle and bustle. Get a good peaceful nights sleep , great soft bed .The breakfast spread was also quite impressive, offering a wide range of options to satisfy any palate. However, there were a few aspects of the service that left me feeling disappointed.
Firstly, the attitude of the staff could have been greatly improved. When I realized that there were no toothbrushes in my room, which was supposed to be a deluxe room, I was told that only certain rooms are provided with toothbrushes. This seemed like a strange policy, and it left me feeling slightly inconvenienced.
As it was not stated anywhere .
Moreover, the way the staff received guests was not as warm and welcoming as one might expect. They appeared to be somewhat rude and unfriendly, not considering that many guests have traveled long distances and may be tired or hungry upon arrival. For instance, upon my arrival, I had to wait five hours before check-in, as I arrived earlier and there was no offer of refreshments like water to help ease the wait. And offer for early check with payment ofcourse …
Additionally, when I inquired about the possibility of paying for having breakfast on site when we arrived at 9.30 am I was told it closes at 10 and not offered to go ahead ,
Luggage storage is outside of reception, not safe or locked up .
In summary, while the hotel offered some great amenities like a lovely room and a plentiful breakfast, the service attitude lacked

Chill Out Bar and Bungalows
Krabi | 0.73km from Monkey Trail
Location was fantastic - remote and cut off, right next to the limestone rocks (and caves). A short walk from the Tonsai Beach, and a bit longer walk (how long depends on tide and your interests) from the Railey Beach. There are many caves to explore. We are not experienced in exploring caves, but walked around some caves. Many people were also doing rock climbing, but we didn't do it. Accommodation was basic (expected - no electricity during the day, only from evening to morning), bungalows were cute and very close to nature. However, basic doesn't mean dirty. We found the washrooms to be not quite clean. Also, there is one power plug (either switch on fan or charge your phone at night - not both). The bar was pretty chilled (does justice to the name), we only had beer - so no comments on the cocktails. You can order food from one of the restaurants - I highly recommend the shrimp omelette.

Aonang Villa Resort I Beach Front
Krabi | 0.84km from Monkey Trail
Super impressed with this hotel. Great communication - arranging transport to and from the Airport , and flexibility with earlier arrival than initially booked. Room was spacious and clean…plus it was decorated in my fav colours!! Housekeeping kept giving us clean beach towels every day and the rooms were cleaned super fast. The room had amazing views from a spacious balcony. There were a couple of issues - air conditioning wasn’t working too well and a blocked lav - calls to the front desk were answered and someone was sent up right away to fix both problems within 10-20 mins. Very efficient! The breakfast was all you can eat and had a variety of food the choose from…Western and Thai. Spent a lot of time at the beach bar…great drinks (Mango Daiquiri so yum) and the food was great for a quick snack. Plus you can’t beat the view of the beach. Both pools were great as well! I enjoyed my stay and would go back there for sure!! Thank you Ao Nang Villa Resort!

Frank Ao Nang Krabi Resort
Krabi | 0.85km from Monkey Trail
It's difficult to be unhappy in Krabi so to be frank , I had a great time in Krabi...beautiful islands , gorgeous Mother nature, lovely people everywhere so I had a great trip ....the only stress was coming back to the hotel ! My check in experience was poor. The staff are new and untrained...I suspect they've been telling everyone they are new for a while now...They don't speak any English at all..not one word...so I was witness to many guest complaints and the reception staff were pretending they understood nothing... I returned late at night to find my room not cleaned even though the sign was out and I had personally told both the reception and housekeeping staff to have the room cleaned . Staff is lazy and just looking for excuses to shirk any work...no mopping is done and cleaning even when done is a desultory affair. And it's not just the staff...the owner Frank is just looking to escape from irate guests...even though he speaks English perfectly...small wonder then that this ethic trickles down to his staff. Pity because the property and rooms are good...Garden is lovely with terrific birdsong and plentiful flora and fauna , pool is nice and I loved the wonderful overhanging cliff across ....The bungalows next to the pumphouse are very noisy...but by far the worst thing is that telephones in none of the rooms work ...so I had to trek to the reception from my bungalow each time to request reception staff for the various things wanting ...also very unsafe because you can't report to the staff in an emergency as phones are not functioning...Also it's really far from Aonang beach..and though a shuttle is mentioned in the booking page they don't use it .. the van just sits parked in the grounds without service provided to any guests...so it is inconvenient ..you need to take a taxi or tuktuk each time...If only Frank cared more for his guests and property, all would be fine...showers would drain and rooms would be cleaned ...guests would be happy... But meanwhile you are spoilt for choice in Krabi..so Frankly stay elsewhere !

Phu Pha Aonang Resort & Spa
Krabi | 0.85km from Monkey Trail
There aren't many varieties of breakfast. If you stay for a few days, you will feel a bit monotonous, but the ingredients are fresh. The room is a wooden house. The room I stayed in was leaking, but the location did not affect the living, so I did not react to the front desk. The hardware facilities are a bit old, such as uneven water from the shower faucet, unstable water, etc., but in general it is properly maintained. The waiter's attitude is very good, but the English level is only a little girl on the main stage can understand more, other employees can only say that you do not necessarily understand your requirements. The towels in the room are still white, but I am still used to bring them. The air humidity on the beach is very high. It is very difficult to wash clothes by yourself. The hotel has a laundry service. If you don't need to iron, 70 strains of one kilogram, the smell of the washed clothes is very good. If you are walking, it is a bit far from the beach. It is estimated to take 10 minutes on Tutu.

This was our first time returning to Thailand after covid, and it definitely did not disappoint. We decided to return to The Verandah Ao Nang, Krabi, because we had a wonderful stay last time, who knew it would be better than ever. Bee, who is a manager at The Verandah, welcomed us back with open arms, and with the biggest smile, her hospitality is second to none, Bee is exceptional at her job. Always there with her local information and great recommendations. Thank you, Bee 🙏 The Verandah is clean, comfortable and close to everything. Breakfast is good with a choice of hot and cold food. The beach is a short walk away, depending on your pace, this place is so relaxed, you walk slower 😆 Just a little advice, as this is a 2 star hotel, soundproofing is not on the list, so bring some some earplugs 🤪 The beds are so comfortable, beach towels are supplied at reception and best of all, you can use the pools and gym at the sister hotel, Peace Laguna! Just one minute walk away. We will definitely be returning to The Verandah Ao Nang, miss it already 😁 Thanks again, Bee ❤️
The location of the hotel is good. The snack bar opposite the taste is good. There is also a night market. 711 supermarkets are very close. Very satisfied
Great food and help with booking our trip from Apple! We went in for Pad Thai and Long island ice tea and ended up booking a lot of our trip. She was able to give us lower prices than found online to book our ferry to Malaysia. Highly recommend if in Krabi
It's perfectly located and offers everything you need for a couple of nights. The rooms are spacious, the wi-fi works well, and the beds are large. The staff is friendly and welcoming and they were kind enough to keep our luggage for us as we left for two nights on Phi Phi. As for minuses, the breakfast is not amazing and the sheets on the bed were old and not very clean. Quite a turn-off for an otherwise lovely place, so hopefully this will be improved in the future.
A friend who has lived in Krabi for 30 years recommended The Greenry to me. I was considering booking on Riley Island and enjoy the beaches (at 2000 to 3000 Thai baht per night). That rins about 60 to 100 usd per night. So grateful I stayed her in Krabi Town. I have gone to Ao Nong beach 3 days in a row. The resturants are great along the beach. I can walk, bike or grab a (Rot Thaw) which is so cheap. The back of it has side seating and it is about 50-60 baht (about $1,50 usd) If you want to go alone than its more. I love this place. Nothing fancy but the owner Bang speaks English and they have a great staff. There is an elevator and stairs for their 4 floors. There is no iron or blow dryer. Bring your own. They do not serve breakfast but from what I can see, they must have before Covid. Have grace as these hotels get back on their feet. I paid 500 Thai baht per night. That's $15 per night. The rooms are a good size. There is lovely outdoor tropical seating/tables and chairs to sit under ceiling fans. It's worth it! This may be my regular place to stay. Lot's of highly rated restaruants and cafe's in walking distance. Very Covid safe and Sha approved!
Had this on offer for 3 nights at S$95. It’s low season and the hotel was pretty quiet (saw only 3-4 other guests and almost nobody at the swimming pool most of the time. Good thing is the service is fast and excellent.
My room was at the highest level and at the junction of the main road. It was of a decent size, clean but some things needed fixing during the off season. The balcony door could not be locked and one of the curtains was damaged but still managed to fully close. Someone next door could have climbed over but being just beside the main road would have discouraged that. The toilet paper holder was damaged but still somehow held on to dear life. The tap/faucet kept falling off, which is a huge annoyance. Hot water wasn’t hot enough. In fact it was barely warm which meant that I didn’t turn on the cold water at all to shower! The bathroom had a sliding door which kept opening if not locked, and that hid the wardrobe and safe box which I struggled to find after checking in. There wasn’t any lights in the wardrobe. Air conditioning was noisy even at the lowest setting. My room was at the junction of the main road which meant there was a bit of noise but it didn’t bother me much.
The great feature was the small pool. It’s clean and regularly maintained. I saw people check the water condition during my stay. From my side of the hotel, it is only accessible by stairs. The hotel also provides a basket with a beach mat and 2 towels, which is a lovely gesture. I’m unsure how they get returned and cleaned though as there are no instructions and also no towels or towel baskets at the pool.
Overall, the stay tolerable with no show stoppers. If they can fix the above issues then the stay would be perfect!
My wife and I where very dissapointed with this hotel it is very rundown the swimming pool was in need of some serious renovation also the swimming pool was in the middle of a construction site of which none of this was mentioned when I booked the hotel at the end of September last year we had booked for 3 weeks but after a week we had enough of the constant noise from morning till night and asked be moved to another hotel which was arranged very quickly
Great place to stay with the family. Pretty quiet (even if last time were some construction activities around but at least started at 8am). The staff is very helpful. We arrived with one bag lost in Bangkok airport and the staff called and followed till we received our bag. Very close by the beach and rest of facilities. Rooms have old furniture but are cleaned in the old building. Balconies are enough for two persons and a coffee early in the morning. Housekeeper is doing a perfect job. I use the hotel since 2017 and I'll use it again.
The place is good to stay for one night or a couple, it is clean and meets the essential requirements. Cleanliness is exceptional. Bed like a stone slab
I recently stayed at Tupkaek Sunset Beach Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with modern amenities that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. But what really took my breath away was the stunning view of the ocean and the sunset from my balcony - it was truly breathtaking and made my stay unforgettable.
The food at the resort was also delicious, with a variety of dishes that catered to different tastes and preferences. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. In particular, Noom was an exceptional host, making me feel at home and ensuring that I had everything I needed during my stay. I noticed that he help a lot of the other guests too.
However, there were a couple of things to be aware of during your stay. Firstly, I would recommend avoiding taking a taxi from the hotel as it can be quite expensive compared to the rates you would find outside the resort. Secondly, I had some trouble with the night shift receptionist who was quite rude and unhelpful. If you need anything during the night, it may be best to speak with the daytime staff instead.
Overall, I highly recommend Tupkaek Sunset Beach Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Krabi. With its beautiful rooms, stunning views, delicious food, and friendly staff (especially Noom!), it is truly a gem in the area.
