The hotel is located four kilometers south of Tagaytay City, and the scenery is very good. However, the Filipino’s diet is very different from the Chinese. If you want to eat better, you can take a jeepney across the road to the center of the tower. The hotel restaurant window can overlook the entire volcano landscape.

Stayed for one night. Clean but very basic. A/c is on the timer and turned in the night, hot water pressure very low. Payed over 2k for 24 hours just to have a nice view but the room and amenities they provided are. It worth it.

We stayed here on Feb. 16 to 17 (Chinese New Year) and Mar. 29 to 31 (Holy Week). We were assigned in rooms no. 4 (Chinese New Year) and no.7 (Holy Week). Pros: 1) Location is just a short walk to the transport terminal located inside Tagaytay Market (jeepneys bound to Peole's Park, Picnic Grove, Olivarez, and Balibago). 2) Free Filipino set breakfast. They also serve unlimited the best kapeng barako for free. 3) Big rooms. 4) AC unit, cable tv, water heater, and water pressure work well. 5) Thumbs up to the hospitality and warmness of the owner and staff. 6) Affordable rate if you get lucky to grab Agoda promotions. Cons: 1) Door knob in rooms no.4 & 7 was hard to lock and unlock. 2) Sink is outside the bathroom. 3) No bidet. 4) There was a problem with the circuit breaker in room no.4 resulting to frequent power interruption in our room. We took shower in the dark with water heater not functioning. We checked out the inn with our phones uncharged. 5) The bed sheet, pillow cases, and blanket in room no.7 seemed washed but smells bad. Maybe the room we were asssigned to was not occupied for a long period of time. 6) No telephone. 7) Nobody was present at the reception area most of the time particularly in the morning so some issues were not attended to.

This hotel embodies the Eco Hotel principles of reuse, reduce and recycle and renew as it repurpose the sturdy and mighty steel shipping containers. These containers are stable even when stacked together but are quite an eye sore if left by its original state. Good thing that the owners thought of eye-catching murals and relaxing interiors and artworks that when looked upon closely, are junks that have been reborn unto their next lives. The design and interiors of the rooms are cutely themed after the room’s name. For example, the room’s name is beehive or pukyutan, you will see beehives and bees in the murals and some beehive shaped mirror above your bed’s headboard. The hotel also boasts of a unique rooftop amenity: a grilling and camping sanctuary. You may enjoy their cocktails while munching on their unlimited BBQ and beermatches or their yummy entrees like the hot and delicious bulalo, which is a Batangas specialty. Have your glamping goals achieved in here with their tents and sleep or dine under the stars. They also have a playground and a set of swings for the kids and the kids-at-heart.

We stayed at the Estancia Resort Hotel for two nights after having moved out of another well-below-standard pseudo-hotel in the area. The room we were given had a great view of the Taal Lake and we were able to catch a bit of the sunrise too. The room and bathroom were clean, aircon was cool enough. There were enough sockets for multiple charging needs. Water from the shower was hot. Staff were prompt, polite, helpful and welcoming. A few things that need looking into are: - the absence of wifi in the rooms (wifi is only available in the lobby) - the bad smell coming from the bathroom drains - renewing the electric water kettle (it worked but did not turn off automatically and the cover kept popping open) - the fridge had no glass shelf - the cabinet doors are misaligned - the screen door can’t be locked - some areas lack accessibility for the disabled (more ramps for wheelchair users needed since the property spans multiple levels; getting the lift working would help) Our suggestions: A microwave in the room would be a welcome bonus for guests who may need to reheat some leftovers. Replacing the bulbs with LED bulbs would brighten the room and save energy as well.

We stayed in Room 4 Standard Room. The first convenience was the parking, our car is literally in front of our room. It is near major tourist spots in the city. Walking distance to Tierra Maria, Picnic Grove etc. The rates are extremely affordable! The rooms, however, needs improvement but no need to be picky since we got what we paid for and its all worth it. Airconditioning is cold, however, noisy. Staff are accommodating. Will definitely come back to this hotel again.

My sister reserved the room around October, since we are a family of 5 we chose the Allure as it has 2 bedrooms with dining area and kitchen. It was our first time to book at this hotel so I did not know what to expect. So the day before going there,I read some of the reviews, and it was really not encouraging as most of it was unencouraging. Still I was hopeful. We arrived around 11 am, so we knew that we were early. To pass the time we had lunch in their restaurant, Amancena. The servers especially Trisha was very attentive. The food is all right, we enjoyed the corned beef bulalo which was very tender. After an hour my sister asked the front desk if we can have an early check in since my Mom is already tired from the long trip, unfortunately, the guests have not checked out yet. And she was told that we have to wait for 2 pm since they are very strict with that policy. We did not mind and passed the time in the restaurant. When 2 pm came we promptly went to the front desk and my sister asked if we can now go to the room assigned to us. The front desk girl told my sister that there might be a delay because the previous occupant had a late check out because they were friends of the owner of the hotel so they cannot do anything about it. Time check at 2:15 we were still in the lobby, my other sister called for the manager, Ms. Tabuyo. Unfortunately for us,Ms. Tabuyo did not even sincerely apologize for what happened, her tone of voice when talking to my sister is conveying we are being unreasonable because we cannot wait for a room we PAID for. Instead of pacifying us, she made us more upset with her explanation as why the room is stiil not ready and why it was delayed. I met many hotel managers in the places we stayed in and I have high regards. But she was so disappointing because she made us feel like we were unreasonable. Going to the room itself, another disappointment, 2 bedrooms but only one cabinet. The other room is like an afterthought, and you are just suppose to leave your clothes in your luggage. Blinds of the windows not working, stove not working,so why put one?! One bathroom has a constant leak. We did not report anymore as we were disappointed already and the attitude of the manager was upsetting so we just know we will not be coming back. We charged it to experience. The silver linings to this experience are the bellboy who had continuously apologize for what happened. The waitstaff during the breakfast buffet,Ardel just like Trisha was very attentive and had continuously informed us of what can we eat during the breakfast service. Please train your front desk staff to be more accommodating and warm, they are NOT friendly and welcoming. Not recommending this place to anyone and will NOT even attempt to book here again.

This is the budget-friendly flagship property of Eco Hotel. This houses 16 guest rooms that are configured to provide comfort in a compact and very functional space. As you enter the property, you will be greeted by their lovely and cute pet, Blue. Adorable, isn’t he? I hope he is a he. Yes, this hotel is pet-friendly and they welcome furry pets up to 25 pounds, subject to a pet fee of Php 500 per pet per night. Do not be fooled by the affordable price tag since all rooms are defintely eco-chic with beds covered in clean, high thread count sheets (you know how this matters for some of us) and enclosed in walls of pine wood that gives a feeling that you are in a secluded far-away place. There also available common areas or co-working spaces for your social or business needs that are playful and display a lot of repurposed materials. Do not miss the breakfast as it is served at the roof deck, the Chinampa Taqueria, giving a picturesque view of Taal Lake. The meal selections come accompanied by their signature, locally sourced coffee (projectlocoph.com). Either this taqueria turns into a lively salsa-chacha place or a dine-under-the-stars romatic restaurant during the evening, what’s your guess? Guests are invited to join their daily happy hour at the lobby from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. A complimentary glass of wine awaits all takers. You really get more than what you pay for in this comfortable and budget-friendly boutique hotel.

She was happy sering the beautiful lake and views in the place. The experienced was nice. Even though there was a bit of a problem on our stay, the crews were very helpful. I wanted to thank the front officers who were very polite and profesional when they talked to my girlfriend. They were so friendly and accomodating specially the guys as my girlfriend said. Pros: 1. Courteous staff specially the Tower 3 lobby guard who handled my request very well and the kuyang room attendant who fixed our room’s sofa bed. Check in and check out were without hassle. 2. Clean, spacious and very nice accomodation with superb amenities (cool AC, hot shower, comfy bed, etc). We booked a one - bedroom suite with a veranda overlooking hills with lush greenery. 3. Cool and quiet location with places of interest to check around. Cons: 1. Rude main entrance guards, beware. They made us wait for more than 6 minutes to be allowed entry when we returned from dinner even if I showed them my resort key cards and hotel voucher as proof of our reservation. It was irritating we were tired and needing rest. They are not trained for proper courtesy to guests as shown by the way they conversed and handled our situation. Even heard one of then said the F word behind my back, I just kept my class and prevented to engage further. 2. Breakfast buffet is disappointing yet expensive. Only few choices and not your typical breakfast to be called. Looks like heated leftovers from a banquet. Even the breakfast hall is not pleasing to start one fine day. I suggest to book a room without breakfast then head to nearby Cafe Voila in the morning. 3. The resort is quite far from the city center. I suggest to use Waze when going to Mahogany market and nearby places to avoid heavy traffic. 4. Useless wifi. Signal was strong but no data at all. Even Smart and Globe had weak signal to none at all in Tower 3.

We booked a room for an overnight stay because we had to attend a wedding at Batulao, Batangas. The room was on the 1st floor. The place just beside the main road (Sta. - Rosa - Tagaytay I think) you wouldn't miss it because it's just a few meters away from mcdo and Starbucks. The place is very quiet. The room and CR is very clean as I've requested. The room is spacious and amenities in a hotel is complete(bathrobe, towels, toiletries) and if something is lacking you can request at the front desk. The front desk people are very nice and accommodating. They even guided us where to ride going back to Manila. The only downside is that you have to pay a deposit of ₱2,500 upon checking in, and shall be refunded upon check out. Overall our stay was great. I will definitely go back.
