Vigo
|0.95km from city centerA great location. Close to the Centre, the railway station and bus station. Very good place to start Camino - convenient access to the path. The room may not be particularly large but equipped with everything this class hotel should have. Comfortable bathroom. It was a very nice service. It was a very good building nearby, but it did not cause any special discomfort.

|0.33km from city centerThis waterfront hotel is in an interesting old building, with view rooms looking out to the Bay and surroundings, nice lobby for a relaxed breakfast. My room had the great view, and the finishings are nice, but the flooring seemed to be of a cheap material that had bubbled/warped already and I notice it hadn't even been cut and laid properly along the wall (a gap) when installed. My friend didn't enjoy the enclosed feeling of the interior room she booked. We were sent to a really bad nearby restaurant by the staff but not their fault as the choices were limited with a late arrival, in fact the staff here are the best aspect. The parking situation needs to be explained more clearly. There are ”limited discounts” available for a certain number of guest to park elsewhere, and if you arrive later, left to your own devices, the parking garage directly across the street is a steep 30 Euros for overnight. The entrance driveway is nicely blended into the front parklet for esthetics, but this means it's not clear it can be driven on or marked at all, you will likely miss it and need to circle another four blocks to approach again, and then discover locals feel free to block it when you might want to drive up and unload. Still enjoyed the visit despite the minor irritants.

|0.36km from city centerExcellent hotel. This hotel was very modern and the room I had was big (for Europe). The staff was nice and welcoming and could check me in earlier than I expected (I arrived around noon). The bathroom was normal size (for Europe) and there was plenty of room. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. They also offered some toiletries if you needed them. The hotel is located very centrally being only a few steps away from the city center and an easy walk to the port. The hotel offered breakfast but I didn’t ask for that since the price seemed steep (especially when you can buy something at a cafe for cheaper) One recommendation I have is if you are driving a car to ask them where to park before going there, as the parking is a few blocks away and you can’t park on the street (or if you can you’re a pro at finding parking). Just understand that if you park anywhere other than where they tell you, you could be charged more than once. I parked at a different parking garage up a few streets and the hotel staff told me that I could come and go with parking after paying the discounted rate of 15€. They also said all the underground parking was “the same”. It is not the same. The underground parking is literally huge and there are several options and you could walk forever when trying to find your car. Anyhow, I left the other garage and toured the city and then parked in the garage they recommended, thinking I was covered with the pay one rate plan. Unfortunately this was not the case and I was out another 15€ to get out of the parking garage. An extremely pricey lesson to learn. Other than the parking issue, I really liked the hotel and would return if in the area (just without a car)

|1.56km from city centerI went to spend a night on the day with my friend Inés, we both worked in the hotel area and we were very surprised by the reception service. We must certainly thank Paul in particular for making our experience in Vigo unforgettable. attention, professionalism, sympathy... even with much work, was always ready to help. We also thank you for making a late check-out so it gave you to stay in the city and enjoy. very good breakfast. nice and harmonious room without defects. Thank you again for the amazing experience, we will return to concert. Votes of very success for Pablo, are people as they make our holidays worth it.

|0.57km from city centerThe staff at the hotel were very accommodating and understanding. They helped me out when I had a dental emergency by recommending a dentist just down the street! Thanks to them I was able to continue my trip and enjoy eating again! Their breakfast buffet was outstanding with fresh croissants, cheeses and yogurt, fruits, flan and more. Thank you to the hotel staff and Juan, the owner, for resolving my situation not to mention the dentist!!!

|0.41km from city centerIn desperate need of some TLC. Studio apartment,no kettle asked and got one straight away. No toaster but not a problem as we decided to take breakfast in the hotel. Bathroom vent full of thick dust and fluff and had to insist that they clean it. Scandinavia type furniture which didn't really work with the pink marble floors. Bed was comfy. Reception helpful and pleasant. Would have had the New year gala dinner in the associated restaurant but at the asking price of 250 euros per person no way. Tremendous promotion of Vigo for Christmas and the illuminations from the Mayor of Vigo but absolutely not geared for tourism. 1st of January and everything closed. Definitely not recommend in winter.

Vigo
|4.01km from city centerFor work reasons, I habitually use hotel facilities, and for emotional reasons, I am also the father of the deputy directors of two hotels in a well-known Spanish hotel chain, but for objective considerations, I must admit that Vigo’s This Pazo dos Escudos hotel is one of them. The top ten best hotel complexes in Spain have the best quality of facilities, furniture, underwear, etc. This is a real gem, and your property and employees have ”responsibility and obligations” to move on. Congratulations

|0.95km from city centerTraffic was terrible but the staff offered off street parking for $15 which we jumped on. Room was small but spotlessly clean. They serviced the room daily. Desk people went above and beyond in making arrangements for tours and suggesting places to eat and visit. The continental breakfast was well prepared and displayed. View from that terrace overlooking the city. When you first get into the area, you have concerns about the neighborhood. Once you are settled, realize that it’s the graffiti everywhere but the area itself is average folk…Just like us! Within walking distance of old town and pedestrian shopping street.

|0.13km from city centerWe started our summer holiday in Vigo and had 4 nights in Maroa hotel. We booked a room with balcony, even though we could see it was a quite small one. Check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed help to find a place to buy water for my contact lenses, and they showed me a few places where I might be able to find it, and they were right. The room itself was huge and so was the bathroom. The tv was a bit old and small, and the amount of programmes was very limited, so don't expect to spend time watching TV at night. The balcony was rather small as expected, but could fit a chair out there, where I could sit and read a book. Could have used another chair and maybe a little table, so both of us could have sat outside. Breakfast was good although not the same variety as in a large hotel. However, we got a brilliant service and eggs the way we wanted them each morning. Also the view from the rooftop is amazing at all hours of the day. A strange thing that I've never experienced before, was that the cleaning lady didn't take the tip I had laid on the bed. That was just put on my desk when she cleaned the room. Can recommend this for location, staff, views and breakfast.

Vigo
|4.08km from city centerThe Hotel O’Pazo is located in a suburban area about 4 km from Vigo close to the Camino Portuguese route. It is a beautifully renovated old building set in spacious gardens with a big fountain just inside the gate and a nice lawn and outdoor terrace with tables and chairs out in front. My room was up under the eaves in the attic on the 2nd floor (3rd for Americans). There is no lift but the lovely receptionist carried my suitcase up for me. The room had twin beds and a tight ensuite bathroom. Although it was quite small and had a skylight rather than a standard window the room was adequate for a night’s rest and very light due to the afternoon sun. Everything was clean and in good condition. There was also a long closed in balcony off the 1st floor (2nd for Americans) with comfortable seating areas. All this cost 34€ including a substantial breakfast. There was also a 3 course set menu dinner for 12€. I recommend the O’Pazo unreservedly. It makes a great stop on the Camino shortening what is otherwise an overlong day to Vigo and provides incredible value.

|3.15km from city centerThe hotel is in the city and not the core of Vigo. But it is 10 minutes walk from the stadium of the Vigo Selta Club in Ciara, which is convenient for watching the ball. The room is large and comfortable, there are plenty of free parking spaces in the courtyard, and the room can look out to the sea. There is a large Auchan supermarket next to the hotel.

The best, the treatment of the reception girl, very careful and pleasant, solve all our doubts and advise us places to park as an alternative to public parking (very expensive in that area) and good places to eat and visit. The hotel is a very comfortable hotel, and it is very comfortable and comfortable.

Vigo
|5.26km from city centerIt is really a good hotel located in front of the beach, beautiful view, friendly staff, modern and cozy decoration, clean and spacious room!
The breakfast was fantastic with many voices of breads , hams and cheese!
Only two little things need to be improved :
1) the coffee machines in the breakfast restaurant, there was a button for cappuccino, but it came out the chocolate milk not coffee. I believed something wrongly set to the machines!
2) the english standard of the staff, we found only the reception staff could speak english very well, but when we dialed the extension to the bar and room services, we needed to wait someone who could understand and translated to the related dept.!
Other than that, everything was perfect!
Highly recommend to my friends and sure we will come back again next time!

|0.47km from city centerEl hotel es genial.

The location is great, just 10 minutes walk from the centre, and just next to the Urzaiz station and a shopping centre.
The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable.
The reception girls are super friendly and attentive.
There are free coffee and 24h infusions in the cafeteria, something that I thought was a detail.
The only thing I missed is the restaurant itself, to have dinner at the hotel some day, but in a B&B is what is expected, just accommodation and breakfast :P
I recommend it very much.

Vigo
|3.23km from city centerPlus: From our point of view, a very good location, well connected to the bus station. There was no bigger problem to get to the beach or to the center. And when someone is going to the Celty match it ... you can't get better :). Near (up to 100 m) a large shop. Full of bars and restaurants nearby. Nice and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. It costs 11E, but if someone doesn't want to combine with searching for something in the city, the hotel has a very good alternative. Large selection, fresh, good quality products. The cleaning room, spacious daily cleaned. The bathroom is very nice, functionally equipped. A comfortable bathtub plus very good quality towels. From the third floor, a nice view of the surrounding Vigo ascent. I regret that we didn't get a few floors above. Very good quality ratio to price. Minuses: One thing, the only thing. If the room is well quiet from the corridor, it is already between the rooms until it is so good. So if you get a temperate pair of rooms next to it is ... :).

|0.76km from city centerAfter hiking for 17 miles on El Camino, we arrived in Vigo for a one night stay at Hotel Ogalia. The welcoming, friendly staff helped us settle in quickly. Beers with friends in the hotel bar were a relaxing prelude to our dinner in town. Accommodations more than met our needs. On a special note, my wife left a hat behind in the hotel lobby when we left the hotel. Upon returning home in South Carolina, my wife and I contacted the hotel staff and they not only had found and kept the hat but later helped us ship it back to our home. If I have the good fortune to return to Vigo in the future, I will plan to stay at Hotel Ogalia again.

|1.44km from city centerThis is an amazing hotel. Everything is spotless and the staff is so nice, funny, polite, and simply adorable. I first got there before checkin time, and was directed by super professional and sweet Enrique to their beautiful cafe/bar area where smiling Ruth treated me like a queen. Shift change came and Patricia was so sweet and nice. Patricia informed me of the cafe/bar time table, always with a smile. Enrique checked me in and I went to my room. Oohhh room fired fire a Queen. Took a shower and laid down on the best bed ever! Woke up and went to dinner downstairs where adorable Salvador tended to all my requests and gave me nice conversation. Next morning, breakfast was ready super early and it was delicious. An array of beautifully presented breakfast items plus the sweetest orange segments on earth! There was Ruth again, who without words understood my need for a delicious Cafe con leche. Overall this was an outstanding stay and will return. Thank you for a sido stay.

|0.41km from city centerThis was a very clean and comfortable hotel. I had an interior room and the window was very small. Especially if you anticipate jetlag and find light helpful to adjust, this room type may not be for you. In the room there was a refrigerator with minibar items. And an espresso machine. Also a tea kettle. The English of the people at the front desk was good. And I was able to check in early, which was much appreciated after travel.

|0.79km from city centerI stayed there two nites with breaky. Checkin and checkout were professional and quick, receptionist were helpful and explaining everything. The room was not super spacious, but sufficient, wardrobe, flat screen, desk , chair and a good bed in the living room. Washing bowl also, but for me its ok. Separated bath with shower, hose and jungle type, with plenty of water in well adjsutable temperature. Windows were to the backyard or something, not really bright, but he - november anyway. Advantage of that, really super silent room. Wifi in good quality too. Breaky is on the first level, with coffe machine, scrambled and boiled eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, cheese, ham and sausages. Also nice pastry avalable. Liked it much. Next time again, as the bus stop to the airport is only few minutes away!

Vigo
|0.12km from city centerWe were really excited to visit Vigo & this hotel has a great location and looked beautiful and as we were meeting our son there , we looked forward to using the rooftop pool as advertised. I was so disappointed my son was in a camper bed , the shutters came up automatically at 8am making the room really bright & noisy. But the most disappointing was told to book the pool for on 1 hour was €25 per day per person. I was so upset and for 4 star hotel and cost was misleading. The assistant manager on reception that day when I complained was abrupt and when I said , if a pool is advertised they need to say its additional 225 for use of stay . She said it was not Ireland I was in , it was Vigo . I regret booking this hotel.

|0.71km from city centerExcellent location in the center of Vigo. Very close to bus stops. Not far from the railway station or bus station. Nearby a lot of restaurants, as well as bakeries or shops. The room is quite spacious and well decorated. Clean and clean every day. Good silent. Wi-Fi or air conditioning worked without problems. Maybe a few handle gowns I would find (e.g. very small refrigerator), but all compensate for the view of the port and the Vigo estuarium. Fairy. The bathroom is pleasant and functional. For the service of no comments.

|0.95km from city centerIt's a good hotel because of it's Location anyways it need a bit of work in the rooms. During the stay, which it was winter, the rooms were a bit cold and the heating was for the whole building so you can not turn it on when you need it. The bathroom needs a bit of work and the internet does not work at all even after talking to the Reception few times, the signal was not strong enough. I hope they can fix these issues because they are in a good location and the rooms are good size.

|0.6km from city centerTucked away in a quiet street yet having views across the Ria de Vigo from the back, we were pleased with our stay. Very friendly staff on reception who also serve in the small bar in the foyer. Very homely rooms comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Only a few minutes walk from the main shopping street and a short distance from the old town and the harbour. Vigo is a real Galician Spanish town waiting to be discovered - we stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it as a real place, in other words no tourist shops - or if there were we did not find them. At time of our visit there was work going on around central Porta do Sol to make it more traffic-free, but were especially fascinated by the string of escalators that ascend the hill from that point- especially useful when returning to the hotel. We had a room overlooking the Ria -very good value for money.
