I used it when transiting to Amman Airport at midnight on Jordanian Airlines. When I told my uncle in transit, I was told to call this hotel and stay, so I booked and stayed on the spot at Hotel.com. I was expecting the Jordanian transit because it was written on the internet that I could stay for free, but I'm glad that Hotel.com was there. The hotel is just a short ride on the shuttle bus. I went to the hotel once for a transit flight tomorrow morning and got a departure stamp. The front brother, Japanese! I was surprised. I had a valuable experience of staying in Jordan ~ There is a cute Neki-chan at the entrance of the hotel!

Madaba is Jordan's famous mosaic city. An ancient map of the Christian churches records the location of Palestine thousands of years ago. The hotel is close to the church and other famous attractions, such as the hill where Moses once lived. The whole service of the hotel is still very good.

Un grand merci au patron de l’établissement qui a pris le temps de m’aider dans les démarches ! De plus l’hôtel est très bien situé dans la ville. I am staying in Al Jazeera Hotel for a long rental, as I moved to Amman for work. The price is quite good compared to all the other options in this central area. The receptionist, Salem, is a nice and funny guy who takes care of the cleanliness and any help you might need. Both location and tidiness are the main aspects for me to stay here for months ☺️

My partner and I stayed in this hostel, it's very well located and it's super cheap for backpackers. But the best of all was the treatment of the staff, it was excellent, very nice and a good person. In addition, he was always available to advise us and answer questions such as where to take the transport or where to eat cheap, which was very useful information for us who were traveling at low cost. I recommend this place.

The best hotel i've ever booked for the last 4 years. Stuff is friendly and ready to help at any time. Hotel is situated at the center and close to the supermarket. Good wifi and accomodation. Great breakfast - highly recommend everyone to add this option.owner of the hotel always take breakfast with tourists. Telling the stories about the country, giving advices how to make your trip better, helping with everything. Would recommend this hotel to any type of tourists. If you are travelling alone, a couple or you need to get good room for good price - this is for sure your choice. You will feel yourself in this hotel even better than at home

Clean basic hotel but one that really cares about its clients. Although only a one star hotel our stay was extremely comfortable. The inclusive breakfast was really nice and we suggest you book a room with an ensuite. The free walking tour of downtown Amman taken by Orwha was a real eye-opener and he was a perfect guide. (you pay him what do you think it’s worth). The hotel is a stones throw from the Roman theatre and the ancient citadel on the hill. It was very noisy throughout the night however as it was Eid and everybody was out celebrating until the Sun came up.

The hotel is in a perfect location, where there are a lot of restaurants and necessary shops. The neighborhood is also a great one, (mostly a residential area), and therefore, the street noise is almost nil. The apartment that we booked was quite spacious and comfortable. The apartment is also well equipped with necessary items, The reception is manned 24 hours a day, and therefore, any questions can be answered quickly. The place has a nice restaurant on its fourth floor and the chef makes delicious food indeed. We tried only breakfast, and it was tasty and sumptuous. The chef is also a very nice person and listens to your needs and makes the food accordingly. The best part about this hotel is the people. Almost everyone we encountered there was super nice. Special words of mention should go to Nabil Shams (who is either a partner or owner of the place) and Mahmoud. They answer calls from the room literally 24 hours a day and address any issues and needs. They always greet the guests every time one walks into the hotel with absolute warmth and friendliness.

The location is good for shopping, it's right across the road from the Galleria Mall, 2 minute walk. And there are many restaurants, local shopping, and specialty shops with a 3 or 4 block walking distance. Once I arrived in the area, I quickly realized I did need to go anywhere else by car to get some things I needed. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly, I had two or three requests after checking in and each one was taken care of within 10 minutes or less. The rooms have mini kitchens in them with limited dishes, silver ware glasses and cups. Refrigerator, microwave, cook top and hot water kettle are also in the room. Easy to re-warm or prepare limited meals if your prefer to stay in. The hotel has WiFi, ask the reception desk for the password. The room I had was one of the smaller rooms, but it was clean and comfortable. I plan to stay again.

We would like to specifically mention, that this hotel was booked on the grounds of location (we needed something on the outskirts of Amman, so that we could drop our car there and use taxi to travel inside the city). What was good: - convenient location if you would like to not drive inside Amman - spacious room - nice staff (though not too able to communicate in English at times - there're multiple employees and their level of English varies) - nice view from the balcony - WiFi was not too bad - all amenities were available Disliked · What didn't go well: - the apartment was clearly not having enough cutlery (i.e., there was only 1 large spoon, 1 small spoon, etc.) - no wine/beer or for that matter any regular size glasses. On request we managed to get whiskey glasses, which were able to use for juice - not all floors are served by the elevator - bathroom was separated by a glass wall, and it was a bit challenging, I would really suggest replacing it with a normal wall

The last review I read said something about the bar next door being so loud. I can give the all-clear, it's closed. It was really totally quiet at night. OK, the muezzin can't be missed there either and every now and then a plane flies by surprisingly close. But at night we only heard dogs barking in the distance and were woken up by birdsong. Our room no. 32 was great. Very big, view of the Citadel Hill in one direction, view of the school courtyard on the other side, no one opposite. The bathroom was very neat. At breakfast we noticed that - after Corona and at the beginning of the Ukraine crisis - we were probably in a hotel that had gone through tough times. There was no buffet, what was served on a tray depended on the person on duty. Sometimes there was an egg, sometimes not, sometimes halva (very good!), then packaged pseudo-pastry. But breakfast is not that important, we think. The gentlemen at the reception were very accommodating. They helped us get a rental car, downloaded and printed out the PCR tests for us, and when we complained about a flickering light, it was replaced immediately. Everyone in Jordan is really friendly!

These guys know hospitality. My stay was amazing from beginning to end. The price was very reasonable. Fuad, the owner, took time to get to know me and we came up with a plan so I would get the most out of my stay. He pointed me in the direction of the Citadel and Theater, “It is close to walk to so you won’t need a taxi. Save you money.” The truth is: Cliff Hotel is across the street from the oldest and best restaurant in Jordan and is reasonably priced. It’s close to the museums. It’s close to the Citadel and Roman Theater. It’s close to shops and things to do. They handle the tours and travel for you all over Jordan. The hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Fuad set me up with his son, George, who personally took me to Petra, Wadi Rum (with Bedouin camp stay, jeep, meals, music and petroglyphs with a personal Bedouin guide), a dip in the Dead Sea at a very nice resort, and a stop in Jerash. I never felt rushed and George was right there with tips of when to be specific places, what to avoid, history, geology, and local culture information. I mentioned in passing that I would like to learn to cook Jordan traditional food. On my last day George set me up at a local cooking school and I had a blast! Everybody knew George and Fuad everywhere we went. I felt like royalty. You can tell these guys have been doing this a LONG time and have an excellent reputation. I had my dream trip and spent half or less than what I would have had I gone with another hotel or tour company. Again, these guys know hospitality and there is no reason to go anywhere else.

Louie was there for anything you could possibly need, and he also sorted me out for affordable tours and transport all around Jordan (Jerash, Irbid, Ajloun, Umm Qais, Petra, Wadi Rum etc). If you’re a budget traveller, this is the hotel for you, but if simple accommodation isn’t your style, then absolutely use the services like the tours and restaurant at least once if you can :)

Apart from a nice-enough room (space to move around comfortably and also bigger rooms for higher prices) and a ”pretty good” breakfast, what I'll remember most about staying at this hotel is having met the ”excellent manager” of the place to whom I'll always be grateful for my 3 wonderful day tours at ”reasonable prices” in the hotel car driven by him (the first to Jerash & Royal Automobile Museum, the second to Mount Nebo & the Dead Sea, and the third to the ”3 desert castles” to the east) and who also provided additional great services (obtaining the Jett bus ticket to Petra, transport to that bus station in the early morning & finally transport to the Airport upon checkout for leaving the country). So yes, the ”best part” of staying at this hotel for anyone, I would say, will be meeting its manager (thank you so very much, Hani). And with that being said, another nice thing about this hotel I was quite pleased by is its location in the vicinity of the Old Town (just about a 5-minute walk to the right after coming down from this hotel) with plenty of miscellaneous shops including restaurants & small grocery places, and yes also located at a very short taxi ride from this hotel (just 5 minutes or so) is the city's ”number-one site” which is the Citadel (with also another great site which is the Roman Amphitheater pretty much right at the bottom of the Citadel hill).

The staff were very welcoming and very happy to help with whatever we needed including looking after our luggage during our stay in Petra and booking a restaurant and taxi for us. The rooms were comfortable with a great buffet breakfast including a good range of middle Eastern and other foods. The hotel was in a handy location with several restaurants, shops and coffee shops within walking distance (many closed during the day for us due to Ramadan). Old-fashioned hotel, although the hardware is a bit old, but it can still meet the normal clean and tidy needs. Room service was quick to respond and the breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Hotel personnel and vehicles have to go through security checks when entering, so it is very safe. Pre-arrival communication was excellent and they arranged a taxi to pick us up at around 01:45am. The welcome when we arrived around 02:30 was great also. The place is very clean. I also really liked the location, it’s in a very quiet neighbourhood you can happily walk around.. quiet that is until you get to the hotel, which is by far the noisiest place in the whole area. We booked this around 6 months ago when there was no mention of noise on the reviews, if there had been then we wouldn’t have booked it. Unfortunately our room on the first floor was directly above the venue. The first night we arrived so late it was ok, though even at 3am there was a fair bit of noise from people moving stuff around downstairs. Night 2 was ok, there was nothing happening. The problem was night 3. We had an early start and tried to go to bed at 10, but they had an event on. The music was so loud it was getting through earplugs, I called downstairs and asked when it was stopping and got told 12 and was told to put ear plugs in. I said I had. She said she’d speak to them to see if they would turn it down… 10mins later they turned it up.. it was so loud you could feel the vibrations coming through the bed. It did however get turned off at 12. The next morning we checked out and I mentioned it, the guy on reception said they’d stopped at 11, I just looked at him and he straightaway changed his mind to midnight and apologised, though he seemed to think it was funny and was laughing. Generally reception staff are a mixed bag - some are lovely and really helpful, some just completely ignore you and don’t even say hello when you great them as you go past. Breakfast was disappointing. It is advertised 7am to 10am, in reality it’s 7:30-9. If you arrive before 7:30 then nothing is out, at 9am you will find little food left and hardly anywhere to sit as the tables are full of other people’s plates and leftovers which aren’t cleared. Some of the reviews talk about having freshly made omelettes or pancakes - this is not a thing. at no point in 3 breakfasts did anyone offer us anything other than what was on the buffet (2 out of 3 breakfasts there wasn’t even any staff there). Overall, I completely understand that some people will love a lively location and not have breakfast - and that’s completely fine and this will be perfect for them - the location is excellent and it’s spotlessly clean; but if I’d known about the noise then I wouldn’t have booked here

I don't know if it was because his English was not standard or because our English was too poor. Anyway, I didn't understand much, but it didn't affect my stay. Facilities: Ctrip standard. The only platinum hotel in Amman, the facilities are definitely good and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, albeit soft, but refreshing. The feeling of quilt and pillow touching the skin is also very comfortable. But there are holes in the sheets, why don’t you change them? ! The pajamas are made of poor material and feel too stiff. Hygiene: The surface is good, but the details are not. The stains on the bottom of the toothbrush cup are quite obvious. Didn’t you see it? This is not the level of Four Seasons. Environment: Opposite is the Ritz-Carlton, and the main road downstairs is a bit noisy. Service: If the service at this price is not good, it would be a shame for the Four Seasons. There are not many types of breakfast, but the ingredients and products are still of high quality. The welcome dessert is a highlight, a local specialty.

In the UK we have an expression ”fur coat and nae knickers”, which I think is an apt description for this hotel. Superficially it looks good but not to stay in. Its a modern building, in an area where development started but stopped some time ago. Its very close to a modern shopping centre, but our apartment was overlooking a long abandoned building site - a bonus meaning we could open curtains and windows without being overlooked or having any noise. The apartment was OK, but there were no coat hangers on arrival, and the safe locked itself when I put things in and had to be reopened by staff - who then declared it broken. The TV also needed staff input on the second night to get any channels (they had been there on day 1!) Whilst there is a kitchen, apart from a set of knives and 2 mugs for drinks, there was one glass and plate and no other cooking implements. Just as well we only had 2 nights there - there is a very good supermarket in the nearby shopping centre so we'd have wanted to cook if we'd stayed longer. We weren't told that we needed to set a light for the room to be serviced, so got back to find it hadn't been cleaned or restocked - I've no problems if told cleaning is on demand only for Covid reasons but we still needed some items replenishing. We found breakfast to be good - although we has a bizarre experience of being told breakfast would not be available on our check out day and it would be delivered to our room as the kitchen was being worked on. In response we gave them a list of what we wanted - and on the day waited....and waited. About 15 mins after the booked time we called reception who had no idea what we were talking about - the breakfast cafe was open!! So we then rushed up to grab food to go. I wouldn't recommend staying unless you can be sure these repeated niggles can be resolved.

I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time during my visit to Jordan, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. I believe the staff member who welcomed me was named Louay, and he was extremely professional. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. What truly stood out was their readiness to assist, even after my departure. I’m confident that this hotel will be my go-to choice for future visits to Jordan. Highly recommended!
