|2.3km from city centerWonderful and memorable first visit to Marbella, not disappointed to stay in one more NH hotel after a very pleasant and exceptional sojourn in NH Collection in Torino 2nd week of Sept. Location is good - walking distance to good restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Big simple lobby, friendly staff, assigned room was spacious, comfy bed, and bathroom was big enough - separate sink which is convenient and large hallways. Not 100% clean bathroom and room but acceptable! Buffet breakfast is good, with hot and cold food items to feast the palate. Overall, it's a good hotel to stay in beautiful Marbella!!

|7.33km from city centerThe hotel is not a hotel, nor a pension with a reception. We must warn our arrival time in advance so that someone can deliver the key. Inside Puerto Banus (the charming city of high luxury) has a terrace with views on the mountains. After 2 weeks of holiday in Croatia and Sevilla, we chose this hotel (unable to call the hotel) the most faced of the whole journey to choose these days. AirBnb without service (worry breakfast) in a charming city. I don't recommend anyone !!!

|0.31km from city centerEverything was quite enough. Room was small - a bit too small for 4 person - with one bunk bed, but it wasn't a big problem, cause we were in three persons and spend all evening on the city. Building is nice and open, with small terrace on every floor, and public kitchen under open sky - which is great. And service and receptionist were very kind and helpful. I can recommend this place for travelers.

|0.64km from city centerOverall, we had a lovely trip to Marbella, the hotel was clean and the room had most things that we needed, no kettle or clothes drying rack on the balcony was a let down. The pool was okay, there is only half a dozen sun beds so there was a couple of days that we couldn’t get one when we went up to the pool area. The hotel had no atmosphere at all, so we did end up putting our headphones on during the day. Decent hotel for the price, but I would pay a bit extra and go elsewhere in the future.

Marbella
|11.47km from city centerPaid for club premium suite as per the picture on their website. Four poster bed, lovely terrace for our wedding anniversary. What we got was no four poster bed, the smallest terrace I have ever seen. You practically have to climb on the table to get to the chair it is that small. In fact the superior rooms which are not suites have bigger terraces / balconies. When we complained we were promised a suite change to the 4th floor (bigger suites) on our 2nd day. We told the hotel we would be out for the day and not back until 9:30pm. They told us the room would be available. When we got back to the hotel they had given it to someone else, no apology, just “nothing we can do as not available”. Appalling customer service. Club premium suites are not the same as the pictures on their website and as they vary in size. The website is very misleading and this suite is not as advertised. Suites also give you the use of a “premium” pool which only has 8 sun loungers (not enough) and is certainly not “premium” by any standard. We are still here for another 3 days but would not recommend this hotel, they are very disorganised and the customer service requires significant improvement. Pictures attached for comparison.

|3.67km from city centerWe had our 3 day Indian wedding here in May and exclusively hired the hotel to accommodate our immediate family. This was a last minute change due to our original venue falling through at short notice but we couldn’t have been happier in the end- the hotel is stunning, absolutely brand new with brilliant amenities, everything decorated tastefully and to an excellent standard. The views are breathtaking, with the Sierra Blanca mountain on one side and the sea visible on the other. The staff were so welcoming and looked after us and all our guests incredibly well- the housekeeping and kitchen staff were so lovely and really went the extra mile to make us comfortable. The management including Martin and Ivan went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly and we honestly couldn’t thank them enough. We are looking forward to coming back to stay and enjoy this beautiful hotel again!

|10.29km from city center1. Out of all the accommodations we stayed in during our 10-day trip to Spain, it was the most expensive but the worst
2. I paid in advance (including breakfast), but I went to check-in, but I said there was no payment, and I stood there for over 30 minutes. At this time, it was around 9:30 p.m.
3. Reservation details + card details + receipts, etc. are printed and shown. The staff tried to resolve it with the reservation company, but it didn't go well. He said he was sorry and said to go to bed, got the key and went to the room (moved by car)
4. I received two keys, but both of them opened the door. My husband got in the car and went to the front desk again to get them, but in the meantime, another one was missing.
5. I have to go to breakfast the next day, but no one contacted me to see if it was resolved or not. Since the hotel reservation company settled with the hotel, they said to go eat.
6. On the 1st day, after breakfast, they asked me to pay, and they said it was included, so they said yes.
7. On the 2nd day, I was leaving after breakfast, but the staff chased me out and asked me to pay.
8. I'm sorry when I check out, nothing to say

|0.34km from city centerThis hotel is a 5* hotel in disguise! Presumably because it’s on a busy road and has no pool etc. it has a 3* rating, but don’t be fooled. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful and professional, and our room was truly one of the best we’ve ever had - clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. There was a small fridge provided in the room for guest use, which was very useful. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Marbella old town, with its stunning buildings, pretty streets and great bars and restaurants. Alternatively, a short walk through the beautiful park and promenade opposite the hotel takes you down to the port and beachfront, again with a myriad of bars and restaurants etc. I love this city and love this hotel, and can’t wait to go back to both!

|1.65km from city centerI have stayed here before on a few occasions the last probably about 10 years ago. Travelled with my 15 year old daughter and wanted to stay in a familiar place and it didn’t disappoint. Both gentlemen I encountered on reception were very pleasant and professional. Our apartment was fantastic. We were given a room on the 6th floor. It had a separate kitchen with oven, dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual dishes and utensils you would need. The bedroom was lovely and bright with sliding doors to the balcony with a table and four chairs. The living room had three sliding doors out to the extremely huge L shaped balcony, I mean huge with two sunloungers. The kitchen also had a sliding door out onto a smaller balcony which had a clothes horse to dry your towels etc. The aircon worked perfectly. Any of the housekeeping staff were very friendly and we were given clean towels every day (even though we hung them up to reuse them) and our sheets were changed midweek through our stay. It was extremely quiet at night and we were not disturbed by other guests or street noise. Pool area was very clean and not busy although maybe the water a tiny bit on the cool side. All in all we had a very comfortable stay from start to finish and we will definitely return. Thanks to all at the Sultan Club.

The pure luxury of every detail is 5 star plus. The hotel, the beautiful array of fresh flowers, the location, the view, the room and above all the service. Our room was spacious, clean at the level of luxury you would expect, wonderful views over the picturesque grounds, balcony with wonderful sea views. House keeping staff, very attentive very respectful we loved our fresh flowers, daily chocolates, fresh fruit and water. Each and every member of the team has a smile, nothing is ever to much trouble. Everything to make our stay extraordinary good. All members of the team are amazing as individuals and professionals offering their guests remarkable service. The guest Red Level service/reception is always eager to help with anything you need. Rafa the pool concierge and the team are all excellent and can make anything happen around the pool. Noelia, The General Manager is incredible. The way she interacts with her staff and guests which contributes to the success of this hotel. Noelia makes sure that all the guests are treated with the utmost care and does everything within her powers to make the guest’s feel welcome, she always has time for everyone even with her busy schedule involved with running this very successful hotel. We appreciate the extra mile Noelia always goes in order to make our stay so wonderful, Noelia is always around and about in the Hotel very much managing with a hands on approach. We have stayed in this hotel for decades having also tried some of the other 5 star hotels in Marbella the Gran Melia Don Pepe is definitely 5 stars all the way if not more. We returned a few months ago with our family who also love this hotel, such wonderful memories for us all. My son and daughter call this place their “Jem of Marbella” Breakfast in the Red Level is delicious, nibbles and snacks are served throughout the day. We love the champagne bar just to chill in, you can sit here for hours and just enjoy the peace….. and the champagne! Bardot restaurant overlooking the pool area is great for lunch, sit in the shade or sun and enjoy the most wonderful freshly cooked pizza or a full on steak meal if you desire. You must try Erre the main restaurant in the hotel for the most perfect evening out. Delicious food extensive menu, gorgeous wines and very attentive staff a perfect night for us all. As usual we celebrated our anniversary in Tahini the Hotels Japanese restaurant absolutely 5 stars probably our favourite restaurant in all of Marbella. |1.11km from city centerWe stayed for the night and we were really happy with the service and accommodation. We booked the suite with the jacuzzi and it didn’t disappoint. The room was really pretty and clean on arrival and the rooftop terrace was lovely and had a jacuzzi and bar too. The location was a bit strange as it’s in the poligano but we were out at the Marbella Feria so for me it didn’t bother me there is plenty of parking and the security system was good for entering and leaving . Would go again .

|0.35km from city centerThe location of this hotel is perfect - next to the old town and right on the promenade. The hotel is always spotless and the staff are so professional. They have an excellent process in place for breakfast. The busy times are between 09:30 and 10:15, so you might have to queue a bit but it is well organised and moves quickly. We only went B&B and you could not fault the selection of food available. We had a sea view room which had a great size balcony. The Amare hotel is a sister hotel and spa treatments can be got here. We availed of these and had a great experience. The one area for potential improvement is the night time entertainment. Some nights had nothing on and the Pinetree club area lacks atmosphere on those nights. Overall a fabulous return visit and we will be back.

|0.68km from city centerWonderful little hotel in the heart of Marbella! What a pleasant surprise. I stayed in this hotel many years ago with students and have returned after about 13 years with a group of 15 adults. I was worried .. for no reason. It is all remodeled and looks great. The staff is pleasant, rooms have balconies (we could see some of the Holy Week processions from them). The little restaurant has an acceptable morning breakfast - nothing fancy - but fine. My only critiques are so trivial I hate to mention them. The little soap bars in the bathroom were dry and crumbly things, old hairdryer but it worked .. and our bathroom trashcan needs replacing - rusty - ugh. Beds were clean and comfortable, the a/c works fine also. I would return in a flash!

|5.4km from city centerA two night stay in a superior apartment with a sea view. Lovely and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Very reasonably priced and it was handy to have parking just outside rather than pay the daily rate for the secured parking. A very short walk to the beach and a nice 15 minute stroll into the port area. We didn't use the pool but sitting out in the well kept garden looked to be a nice way to spend time relaxing.

|0.42km from city centerStayed here only for two days this time, last year we had a week and it was great.Receptionist very professional and efficient.Room on the top floor was as good as ever, very clean with plenty of space, good storage areas, clean well-equipped bathroom with toiletries supplied.Super balcony with table, chairs and views over the rooftops.TV in room had some UK channels, fridge worked extremely well. Food is of a high standard for a 3 star hotel with plenty of variation in the menus. The packed lunch (picnic) can be ordered the day before and it is just 1st class, best I have come across in Spain! Only minor issue this time is my wife and I felt the food could often not be very hot reaching the servery,it also seemed the overhead heating in this unit was either very poor or not working at all, such a shame for good quality produce.A small microwave is all that is needed to address this issue, many hotels have these now in the dining rooms. It has a great location,2 minutes from the bus stops and 5 minutes walk to the beach areas. We shall return again as the hotel and staff have real character.

Pool view from the room was nice and so was swimming in it. The room had nice furnishment and a possibility to cook for yourself. The lobby bar was also nice and pretty. Cleaning was good and the cleaning lady polite. The location was very convenient at the city center. Overall value for money was good. If we visit Marbella city center again, we will come back here!

|8.21km from city centerCame here with a group of friends for a golf trip and we had a good stay. Staff were very friendly and professional, nothing too much trouble no fault there. Rooms were large and very clean, beds were comfortable and housekeeping were spot on. But, these rooms are dated, some lights didn’t work, air-con was also broken and it just looked tired. No iron in the room, you have to get this from reception, either return it straight away or pay a 20 euro deposit…. Really! In this day and age, no iron in a room for a 4 star hotel is strange for sure. Food wise, breakfast was good, plenty of choice and all fresh, lots of tables and plates cleared away nice and quickly. Pool wise, nice enough, sun beds appear tired but other than that it was good All in all it was a relaxing stay but would we go back, probably not, could be easily a 5 star resort but needs a good polish.

|0.27km from city centerLa Villa Marbella was the perfect place to stay in Marbella. We had visited Marbella ten years ago and knew what area we wanted to stay. There are many choices of hotels in the Old Town but I will not hesitate to say that this is the BEST. Our room was decorated in a beautiful stone and teak motif with gorgeous handpicked Indonesian furniture. Although it had wonderful windows out to a tree lined walkway, is was extremely quiet. The large bed was so comfortable and the room provided every amenity you would need. On top of all that, the location was perfect. Oh, and don’t forget to checkout the rooftop deck - a huge plus! Rose, Ben, Isabella and team could not have been more hospitable and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

Marbella
|3.93km from city centerIt should be a better five-star hotel in Marbella, but the experience is average and will not stay again. The picture of the Ctrip suite does not match the actual situation. It is actually a sofa in an ordinary hotel room, and the room has a musty smell. Ctrip indicated that it will open in 2020. I thought it was a new hotel. The actual decoration is relatively old. I don't understand why it is a hotel opened in 2020. The front desk service does not meet the five-star standard. The procedures are completed in the morning and the room card is picked up in the afternoon. There is a person at the front desk, very slow, and waited for a long time.
The advantage of the hotel is that there are many restaurants, it feels good to eat at night, the location is by the sea, and the walk is very comfortable.

|5.53km from city centerI stayed here many years ago before it was an Iberostar and chose to return due to the location. I am a Travel Agent and have been fortunate to stay in a lot of hotels in this area. We came for a wedding in the area and was perfect. On arrival we were greeted by the hotel reception who were very accommodating and always with a smile on their faces. We were allocated a beautiful room which was the same layout as before but brighter than I remember. The reception area has been fully refurbished and is modern and minimalistic. Very bright with a balcony over the pool area. Clear view makes a great insta photo. The pool area has plenty of beds around the pool and onto the garden area. Breakfast was superb with an array of choices and plenty of choices of bread, eggs, juices etc. The location is fabulous a 10 minute walk into the port and directly on the golden mile. The little touches round the pool area were lovely mocktails at 12 and little mini ice cream oreo cookie bites in the afternoon. These little touches make the hotel an excelled 4 (if not 5) star hotel. So lovely and always welcome. Beach towels are provided and can be changed whenever. The entertainment team are lovely providing yoga, pilates and even face cream/scrub making along with a timetable there is something for everyone. One day we hired bikes from the reception (there are about 10 in total) and we highly recommend hiring them. we rode to Marbella one way and then San Pedro the other again a lovely touch. We also went to the beach club on one of the days and again cant recommend enough, comfy beds, fluffy towels, great food and drinks and a view to die for. This hotel is a gem in this area and really deserves a try.Nothing is a problem for any member of staff and a really truly lovely hotel to stay. I will continue recommending to my clients for sure.

|5.18km from city centerHow to say it, this hotel is quite different. First of all, it is very new, the room is good, the bedding bath towels are very new, very comfortable, the room is relatively large, there is a super large balcony, outside is the swimming pool. But, the used cups are almost not washed, water, one day, no, ask the front desk, some say two bottles, some give several bottles. The location is a bit biased, take a taxi to the city seven or eight euros, there is also a station to go to the city and the pier, each two euros more. There is a supermarket next to it in five minutes and there are also high-end restaurants. There are many Russians living inside, and several at the front desk are also Russians. The breakfast was very general, people didn't feel much, but the waiter felt completely busy and had a good attitude.

|9.75km from city centerMy friend and I were looking for a short five day break a few weeks ago to get the last of the summer sun and due to a recommendation we choose Ona Alanda .From start to finish I couldn’t fault it .we requested a quiet area so we were shown an apartment in a block around the corner to see if we were happy ! We certainly were it was a very large two bed two bath apartment with every amenity and near a smaller pool ,bar and behind Nikki beach . Our deal included a fabulous breakfast and we had the buffet dinner in the resort two nights . There are two great beach restaurants 5 minutes away and several good restaurants opposite . The old town of Marbella is 20 minutes away in a cab but there is a bus stop opposite as another option . The reception staff in fact all the staff are so helpful nothing is too much trouble ,a special mention to Paco who recommended so many things to us . We are already planning a return trip in Spring .
