Where do I start? I have stayed in some beautiful hotels around the world and this is up there with the best. It was our first family holiday with my wife and 1 year old son. I couldn’t of chosen a better family hotel. All the staff made my wife and son feel special and took extremely amazing care of all 3 of us. My son and wife are my world, so to see ALL the staff, from reception to the lifeguards at the pool make such an effort was breath taking. Thank you to everyone at the hotel. We stayed in the sea view room of 215. Room was beautiful, clean and felt like top luxury. The cleaners ensured it was cleaned everyday and they were super friendly too. The breakfast we had that was included was top notch. High quality breakfast with fresh pancakes cooked in front of of you! Our favourite. The hotel itself is marvellous, great location to the beach (only 2 minute walk) and it felt like a top 5 star luxury hotel. The restaurant on site is amazing too, great food and service! Four pools in total, the children’s pool was very helpful with my 1 year old! A special mention to the reception staff and restaurant staff who made my wife’s birthday memorable on the last evening. Thank you! Thanks especially to Nuria Alcaraz who organised it all. Special mention to Jesus, Ahmed and Diego at the pool, always made sure they said hello to my family and super friendly. Thank you. Taxi’s were spot on, they had baby seats for my 1 year old so that was very helpful. Only 10 minutes from Marbella town centre and 20 minutes from Puerto Banús! Thanks again to everyone at the Hotel! You were all amazing. Joey, Lauren and Fabio x

So I booked this visit through Secret Escapes which described Molo 44 as a luxury boutique hotel. The pictures looked beautiful so I booked immediately. It was after that I started to get a bit confused as to what we were going to find. Some sites described it as hotel, others as a guest house etc. It is in fact what I would describe as a cross between an air b&b and a b&b. We were upgraded to a duplex suite which I have to say was just lovely and decorated beautifully. We had access to a shared garden and the views were indeed stunning. We did speak with a couple of other guests who stated their rooms were certainly below standard with dirty terrace furniture and no views, leaking showers etc so I guess it depends on your room allocation. Breakfast was confused. No where did it state on our paper work that it was only continental so if we wanted anything else we had to pay. Even the continental breakfast wasn’t up to par. I would expect more of a selection and cold meats, cereals etc to be offered. We did get a few slices of cheese on the last morning. There was only one person serving and we felt like he needed a lot of help. We felt awful Continually having to ask for hot water, hot coffee, warm milk and more bread. I would suggest a buffet style breakfast would work out better for guests as long as tea and coffee were readily available. I did speak with the owner before arriving and asked if there was a bar and was told there was. There is NO bar where you can sit on an evening or afternoon and have drink. There is however a table with a few bottles of liquor that apparently you can help yourself to and just leave a note and you would be billed. We had to ask for hand soap on a number of occasions and while one of the cleaners was pleasant the other was not and literally looked at me like I was an irritation and told me to use shampoo. We gave up asking! In summary I think if you booked thinking you were staying in a luxury or even moderate hotel you would certainly be disappointed. If you just expected a nice clean room, with wonderful views you would be more than happy. Would I return, possibly, if the price was right as the location is excellent and I would know next time what to expect. Would give breakfast a miss.

We left the hotel to go home at 730am by 8 we realised my husband had left an expensive hat in the room 100% he remembered exactly where he left it. I quickly WhatsApp the hotel and asked them if they could keep it for us as we come Back regularly however they told me it wasn’t there. Either this was a total lie or a staff member had gone in and taken it. It’s experiences like this that put you off a hotel it tells you their staff are untrustworthy. I would never return as I feel now I wouldn’t trust them in my room. Any decent employee would have put it in lost property or reception. Really let’s the place down the trust has gone.

A hotel that we have frequented on numerous occasions but absolutely disgusting customer service and never again will we book a stay here. To call this hotel group charlatans is an insult to charlatan’s. On what basis you might ask do I tag this group with such a derogatory name? We booked a 4 night stay in a Grand Junior Suite with partial sea view in 2020, however due to COVID we were unable to go and the Hotel called to offer us our money back in full. Due to the well publicised financial pressures many Hotels at the time were under, my husband told them to retain our money and we’d rebook when things improved. We just tried to rebook our stay and rather than simply offering us the same room, recognising my husbands goodwill gesture, this group of charlatans now want to charge us their increased price for the same 4 night stay in the same room. How many people supported the hotel in the manner my husband did in their time of need? Despite our support we are treated like this, our gesture obviously now means nothing and is all too easily forgotten. We told the hotel that we could have earned interest on our money over this period and given my husbands goodwill gesture, my husband had no idea at the time that the hotel would even survive, we just asked that they should honour our original booking, that request clearly fell upon deaf ears. Were we really asking for any preferential treatment i.e. for giving the hotel our support in their hour of greatest need? Yet despite all our support the best they would offer us was a 10% discount on their new price. We’ve now told them that we want our money back in full, something my husband now wishes he’d done in 2020, and that we’ll never return either there or their adjacent sister hotel. We now wait and see if this company of ‘money sucking leaches’ does indeed refund our money. Out of principle we would now never book a stay at one of this groups hotels and if you have any principles I suggest you do likewise. After all, who wants to hand over their hard earned money to a group of ‘money seeking leaches’?

Marbella City Center
Situated in the town centre, Beautiful on trend apartment spotlessly clean with daily maid service, leave your towels in the shower and will be replaced with clean ones, the bathroom also has a hairdryer and a supply of toiletries. Requested a top floor apartment as you get sun on your balcony and get a glimpse of the sea. The hotel is situated on a side street on a steep curve, so there is little traffic and is very quiet. From the hotel it is a short walk to the old town, orange square, the beach and shops. Half day closing on Saturday closed Sunday then Monday to Friday open until late. You can pick and choose whether you want designer or similar priced shops as in UK. Went to Peurto Banus for the day and only cost 2 euros there and back on the local bus. There are designer shops but also the Corte del inglis department store. The restaurants fronting the port are expensive but reasonably priced down the side streets. The centre of Marbella has beautiful manicured gardens and lots of fountains. It’s very quiet in the evenings so go for a stroll a meal and a glass of wine. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to go. There is a large supermarket on the next street to the hotel and reasonably priced so you can have a meal in your apartment if you wish. Transport from Malaga airport was a mini bus which took us straight to Marbella with no stops and returned to the airport by coach with no pick ups not sure if this is the norm in peak season. Can’t praise the hotel and the friendly staff enough. I forgot to mention the swimming pool on the hotel roof, the weather was hot so didn’t stay there long although it was the middle of October. There is a bar there but closed as it was out of season.

I booked this hotel as a last minute getaway and had a lovely break here. The hotel was quiet and it was peaceful around the poolside. The hotel room was spacious and the bed was very big and spacious. The room was spotlessly clean. The hotel location was great, other reviews say this is not in the location of Marbella, however a taxi is approximately only a 8 minute drive away if you want to go into puerto banus to the shops and restaurants , which we did in the evenings. It was convenient to get a taxi, when we ordered a taxi at reception it always arrived within a couple of minutes (I think there was a taxi rank nearby). We had food and some drinks at the hotel bar next to the poolside which were at a good price. The only fault I had was that the balconies are not private as you can see and hear on to the next room and the pool was not heated so it was too cold for me to go in. Luckily for me I don’t tend to go in the pool too much and was happy to sunbathe around the poolside.

This hotel is a 5* hotel in disguise! Presumably because it’s on a busy road and has no pool etc. it has a 3* rating, but don’t be fooled. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful and professional, and our room was truly one of the best we’ve ever had - clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. There was a small fridge provided in the room for guest use, which was very useful. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Marbella old town, with its stunning buildings, pretty streets and great bars and restaurants. Alternatively, a short walk through the beautiful park and promenade opposite the hotel takes you down to the port and beachfront, again with a myriad of bars and restaurants etc. I love this city and love this hotel, and can’t wait to go back to both!

Just returned from a most wonderful week at this fantastic hotel. From the moment you enter the reception area you are greeted by the stunning scent from the masses of fresh flower displays that are replaced regularly. The check in was a breeze due to the excellent reception staff. We had a Red Level suite on the 7th floor and the views and room facilities were superb. Stunning bathroom, kettle, coffee maker, small fridge, 2 balconies, sofa bed, all in all a great space. The hotel is in a great position, directly on the beachfront. It’s a 30 minute stroll along the promenade, which is lined with bars and restaurants, into Marbella or a €6/7 taxi ride. The hotel grounds are immaculately kept and are a pleasure to walk around. The swimming pool also is kept immaculately clean with plenty of sun beds and a large fountain in the centre of the main pool and a lovely pool bar/ restaurant with waiter service to your sunbed. But, the best bit about this hotel is undoubtedly the fantastic staff. From reception, restaurant, maids, maintenance men, barstaff , everyone of them greeted you every day with a broad smile and a hello and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. It was as if every member of staff loved their work and thoroughly enjoyed working at the hotel. That said, the biggest shout out goes to the pool men. From 7am these guys are rushing around the pool, putting sun loungers in place for guests, putting up umbrellas, fetching towels etc and, even in 30+ temperatures everything was done with massive smiles and always happy to chat with guests and give advice about the area. The hotel should be proud of these guys. The one gripe I have about this hotel is the breakfast. We only stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast buffet served a lovely selection of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, pastries, fresh egg and omelette stations which was all lovely but, their hot food selection for those that like a cooked breakfast, consisted of boiled sausages, limp bacon, occasionally soggy hash browns and baked beans, all of which were cold. This is not enough to stop me giving the hotel a 5* review but, come on Melia, when paying €7500 for a 1 week stay, it’s not too much to expect a decent breakfast.

We always stay here when in Marbella, for a few reasons. The whole place is spotless. Housekeeping are very efficient and everything is done properly....no shortcuts. The apartments are different shapes and sizes, but all of the ones we have stayed in have a small kitchen area that is fine for 2 people, and they have been the same in all apartments. All have table and chairs on the balcony, and a little pull out line for wet swimmers n stuff like that. In a good location on the promenade, so a nice walk before and after dinner for restaurants. Supermarket just around the corner. But mainly because of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Recent visits have involved PCR testing and form filling...reception have been most helpful with printing and translations. 24 hour desk too...in case you need any help in the night. I wouldn't like to stay anywhere else now. A pleasure to be there, from start to finish.

Coral Beach apartments are perfect. From the description and pics on booking.com to the help and service from the reception before and during our stay, it was like a five star experience for a fraction of the cost. Such great value. The beautiful gardens the amazing size of the apartment and I didn’t book a sea view but the pool view and got a sea view anyway just behind the pool. I could have lived there, and positioned as it is walking distance from Puerto Banus the location was brilliant. Close to an Aldi for convenience and the rooms were huge. I have recommended to so many people and I don’t do that very often. I would love to go back and who knows I might very well do that.

The most satisfied hotel is worthy of 5 stars. Hotel location is good, taxi to Marbella city centre for 7 euros 5 minutes. Or a 15-minute walk from the sea. The hotel has three restaurants, and the environment is very good; two bars, during the day can also have a bar outside, you can sit on a white sofa. The pool also has a bar. The bar is not expensive, and the design feels reasonable. The sanitation is very clean. The hotel parking lot is under the hotel. Parking seems to be 15 euros or 18 euros / day. Breakfast and its richness, I didn't leave halfway, then I was full, English and hot dishes. The first time I saw fresh honey with a hive offered :) The hotel's private beach is very good. It costs 12 euros to rent a chair and the pool is free. The rooms are very large, it seems that every room will have a terrace with a table and sofa. Facilities are a bit old but clean and reasonable

Good location in a nice area. 10 minutes walking from the old town and a few meters to the water. But beware…there is no road and not even a sidewalk right now, so getting to the place is only on foot and carrying your luggage can be problematic. There’s a garage at the back of the hotel which appears convenient, but you have to walk around the entire block and then lift and carry the bags…extremely inconvenient and heavy. If you can avoid for the next month or so, please do so. Other than that…good location, rooms are clean and spacious, and the woman at the front desk was very nice and apologetic (construction isn’t her fault after all).

Just returned from a week stay and I cannot fault it at all. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with hot tub. Apartment was cleaned every day. The staff that we encountered always said Hola! and were very pleasant. The hot tub was just what we needed after being out all day. We had a hire car for the duration of our holiday and there was free parking in the street outside. The bus route was also good and cheap, we used this a few times rather than try and park in the centre of Marbella although we did also walk into the centre too. A few hundred metres walk to the beach. This is definitely our go to place in Marbella now and we will return. Thank you for a great stay.
