We stayed here for one night on our journey from Czech to Poland. We very much liked the nice green area around and closeness to the old town. The room was huge and comfy, staff friendly, it was nice to have the wellness for our own. We especially appreciate that we were very welcomed even travelling with a bigger dog. We would stay here again when in town. Only reason not to give five stars is the breakfast, it was okay but not awesome in my view.

Stylish modern hotel located in suburbs of Hradec Kralove city surrounded by golf course. Double room (including bathroom) we stayed in was also stylish, convenient, clean, quite and large enough for two persons. The staff was great as well – helpfull and kind. As we came for breakfast just slightly before they stop serving the meal, we have found very limited offer of meals. But we have been promptly offered by more than adequate replacement – by wide choices of hams, cheeses, vegetables, eggs and juices and hot drinks.

The hotel is in the very center of the historical part of Hradec so the location is perfect for walks despite the construction works of some of the streets in town. The rooms and corridors have special atmosphere and high ceiling as this is a former monastery, the hotel has its own chappel, too. The rooms facing the town can get pretty noisy due to rush hour in the morning. The breakfast was fairly ok. The parking on the square costs 30 Czk an hour, so hotel parking is recommended - 150 a day. Pleasant stay.

The hotel frontage looks uninviting (only needs brightening up) and there is a derelict house next door....but this hotel is a medieval building and the interior is in excellent condition. Not for guests with disabilities, no lift and 41 steps to the top floor. Lots of original features remain, the spacious breakfast room in arched brick cellar was a nice surprise. There is another cellar under that which has no guest access but looks interesting! The breakfast selection was excellent. No staff there 24/7 but will come when needed. Nice small touches..like tissues provided in the room and public areas, extra towels/toilet rolls available on a help yourself basis on the landing for example. Late checkout can be arranged at extra cost. Our room at the back (with Velux windows and no air conditioning) would be hot in summer. No traffic noise but there is one busy pub next door, and another 20m away so rooms at the front may be affected. Pass key for the room also gives access for the front door, and we each had our own which was very useful. These can be left in the mail box on checking out, no need to involve staff.

I love this hotel, it's perfectly located just off the square for being a tourist. The rooms are clean and functional. I had a low end priced room and it's huge with nice big opening windows. The building is an Art Deco masterpiece, the restaurant area has to be seen to be believed with amazing deco stained glass and panelling. The pink glass spiral staircase is just so cool. Don't expect corporatized vanilla (marriott/sheraton) accommodation, this is funky and cool and perfect. Not sure I've ever been so relaxed in a hotel before. Breakfast is included, and the only downside is the coffee, it's pretty average.. not a huge deal but I had to find one bad thing.

The hotel was built in 1991, since then the public spaces haven’t seen any renovation. Room on 9th was floor was ok, bed and bathroom were renewed some years ago. Room was pretty hot, only one window (out of 3) was to open, but very limited. No aircon, no ventilation. Positive: close to train station.
