I wasn't sure what to expect as I usually stay in larger hotels, but everything from the outside appearance to the charming inside, was great. My room was cosy, clean and well supplied. Breakfast next day was excellent, the decor is lovely, very charming. Excellent location to St Stephens Green & short walking distance to Grafton St, but far enough away that it is quiet. The staff also ensured that my prebooked (by them), but arrived unmarked, taxi was in fact a legit taxi, by going out to verify with the driver before I got in it. Will definitely try to stay here again on my next trip to Dublin.

We arrived around 5.30pm and stayed only one night. The welcome drink was a nice touch but however in the morning there was lots of banging next door to our room. My husband was up all night with a cold so we hadn’t slept much. When we walked out of our room at 9.30 am to have breakfast the cleaners were sitting in armchairs with their vacuums and cleaning g products. It felt like they were waiting for us to go. When we returned to our room to pack up ( check out is 12) there was a knock at our door at 11.30 by cleaners. It felt like a lot of pressure for us to get out and no privacy as they were siting outside. The staff at breakfast hovered and were on top of us and asked us to order straight away before we even read the menu. The wait for the food was long and my eggs were cold when they came out. There is no lift to our floor so passing the cleaners sitting in armchairs we also passed cleaners sitting on the stairs. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and not private. The hotel it self is well located and beautiful interiors but wouldn’t stay there again. We have stayed at a lot of boutique and 5 star hotels all over the world and this was just average.

The Green Hotel exceeded all my expectations. It was centrally located, beautiful, clean, comfortable and the staff could not be more helpful or nice. This was my first trip to Dublin and Jessica at the front desk was wonderful in providing help and assistance. The room was spacious and everything was in proper working order. The breakfast was unbelievable and so delicious. The perfect meal to start the bay exploring Dublin by foot. I highly recommend this hotel.

Facilities: Renovated in an old building, there is no elevator, the internal structure is more complicated, we are arranged in 5XX, but it is actually the 3rd floor, the body feels the 5th floor, through a door, around the strange structure. And each floor of the stairs is very high, very tired, as if climbing on the 10th floor! The decoration is slightly old, but I tried my best to maintain the original classical characteristics of the old building. I made a lot of efforts in the decoration, laid on the red carpet, hung a lot of oil paintings, especially in the lobby and restaurant. The front desk was very simple and early in the morning. It was also very interesting and decorated with a strong Christmas atmosphere. The room is a bit rudimentary, the facilities are old, especially the bathroom, as if you came to the guest house, the door is not very sensitive to swipe the card, it seems that there is no air conditioning. Hygiene: Generally, barely pass the customs. Environment: The location is in Dublin District 2, District 2, on the south side of the river, is a relatively safe area, and it is very convenient. You can walk to Dublin's major attractions, riverside and shopping centers. St Steven's and a well-known museum are within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. There is also a light rail station next to it. The bus needs to cross a graffiti-filled street to another main street, which seems much less secure, a bit like Camden Town in London, where supermarkets and restaurants are also. Service: The staff was very welcoming, especially the staff in charge of the breakfast, and we felt very welcome and received a lot of care.

No one reply my in-app message so I have to call. And it’s weird that the receptionist is not clear about my Gold membership benefits such as late checkout and free breakfast but what I find the most disrespectful is that the receptionist has to ask the duty manager for my requests yet the manager was just chatting with other staff and she never smile at me whenever I pass by and look at her. I’d love to stay again but the reception should be trained properly again.

The place is in a great location but the keys to the room are supposed to be picked up in a different location that is quite far from the hotel. The staff is supposed to be multilingual but when we called for help to get the keys we got unlucky and had someone over the phone that struggled with English (in Ireland..). The place is overall very clean but the decorative pillows don’t seem to get washed. It’s ok for a brief stay, not for a long one as there’s not wardrobe. Nowhere to store anything or at least put the luggage. Also, the kitchen has silverware and mugs but nothing to clean them. For this price, I was expecting a little bit more attention to details.

Chain of hotels. The neighbourhood where the hotel is located is very quiet, the hotel is also across the road, and there are schools and convenience stores nearby. It is also very close to the pedestrian shopping street. The hotel room facilities are very complete, the room is also large, and very clean. The glass windows are large and the sunlight shines into the room, which makes it very comfortable. The soundproofing is very good, and the hotel itself is very quiet inside and outside. It's just that the road on the opposite side will be repaired after 8 o'clock in the morning, which is a bit noisy. The toilets in the hotel are more traditional, with one hot water and one cold water in the wash basin, and the hot water is relatively hot.

I was impresssed by the friendly welcome I was given at reception. Although I knew I couldn't book in till 2pm, I went early in the hope of them looking after my case. Not only do they do this for no extra charge but I was allowed into my room at 11.30am as it had been vacated. The hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing as Christchurch and St Patrick's Cathedral are within 5 mins' walk and Dublin Castle and the Esther Beatty exhibition, which is not to be missed, is just round the corner. The room facilities were excellent with air conditioning unit, fridge, safe, coffee and tea making equipment, an iron and hairdryer and of course constant hot water for a shower. Downstairs there was a restaurant and bar available with music in the evening, which stopped at a reasonable time. Breakfast was also served in the morning, simple but enough. It was well worth the price charged simply because of its location.

I have stayed at 4 or 5 hotels in my various trips to Ireland. I even stayed at a 5 star resort the last time I traveled here and I will say hands down the room at the Alex was by far the nicest room I have stayed in. It's not directly in the town center but it's just a 10 min walk away and one I didn't mind based on the quality of the room. My only wish was that it had a pool. There is a work out facility across the street that I never checked out so one might have been there. If I ever go back to Dublin I would definitely stay here again. They have a couple of restaurants near by both places were excellent one served the best fish in chips that I have ever had the other had a great Guinness beef pie.

The room is small, even the cup has to be placed in the cabinet. There is no way to open the suitcase. The 21st century has no air conditioning facilities. I asked the front desk. He said that if you want an air-conditioned room, you can book another room next time. He can give me a fan. I am really speechless. I really want to turn my eyes 🙄️ and stayed for two nights to get close to 3K. I am also drunk 😵‍💫.

The location is right in the heart of the city, good for people who like clubbing. Heard that Temple bar area could be problematic at late night, but it was never a problem as we returned by 10pm. Many shops and good eateries within 5 min walk. The sightseeing spots are mostly readily accessible on foot. Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and towels looks new white. Walls are thick enough for sound proof, even not aware of one flushing in toilet in early morning. Our room faced the internal opening i.e. no view but not noisy. The only shortcoming is no fridge. Highly recommended.

Located in the Georgian area of Dublin - you’re away from the hustle and bustle but an easy walk into the centre. Check in was easy as was check out - I’ve nothing but good things to say about all the staff here who were friendly and helpful. The room was small but quiet and clean. Bedding was comfortable. Tea and coffee was available 24/7 in the lobby which was great. Searsons is just down the road for a bevvy or something to eat - as is Bobbys wine bar and other coffee shops and food places. Would definitely stay here again when in Dublin.

A perfect stay in a perfect hotel ! It was my first trip to Dublin and was so happy we chose this hotel. The reception area was spacious & decorated lovely ! The hygiene is acceptable. The hotel parking lot is not easy to find. It is in the middle of the building and the parking lot is free. The room does not provide water, disposable slippers, toothbrushes and other items. There is a convenience cabinet in the rest area where you can buy snacks and drinks. Due to the geographical location, the center of the square can be noisy in the middle of the night, but it is generally okay.

A brilliant hotel perfectly located within Dublin. Next to trinity college, this hotel is a stones throw from all the tourist hotspots but equally the location is lovely and quiet, especially at night. The hotel has been recently renovated to a high standard. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are well equipped. The service by the staff was top notch and the exclusive parking around the corner on a private, gated carpark for €15 per night was an added bonus. The breakfast was really tasty, a great selection of cooked and cold food to choose from and the coffee was also equally as good. Will be using this hotel as my go to the next time I find myself in Dublin.

This really is an absolute gem of a hotel. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. Our room was a standard room but the furnishings and complementary goods gave it a luxury feel. The bed was super comfortable with soft linens and huge fluffy pillows. The hotel had thought of everything including umbrellas to borrow for the typical Irish weather. We were able to easily walk into the heart of Temple Bar. The breakfast served was unbelievably delicious and lots of it! All freshly cooked from a vast menu. This is a family run hotel and the personal flare really shows. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent hotel, great service and only 5 minutes walk to Landsdowne station that you can reach city centre within 15 minutes. The room is very nice and you can enjoy free coffee and tea, playing board game in the evening. The honourable system for whiskey bar is bdonus and the complimentary breakfast is very delicious. One thing I have to mention is that no air conditioning for the room but it's not bothering me in Dublin's weather.
