All mens hotel. Pretty cool place. Hot springs, sauna, free food. Free alcohol for like 10 hrs a night. Kinda felt like i was a monk or cult member with brown shirt & pants they give you. Great location, right by Shinjuku train station. My favorite part was showering with all the guys & seeing them naked. Just joking. Capsules were a little loud at night but, i slept well. Would stay there again.

Check-in convenience: I checked in at the front desk, which was pretty easy. Safety: It's a very quiet area and felt very safe. Facilities: I don't understand the logic behind this hotel, so I booked for four women, but there were actually three of us, because I was afraid it would be a youth hostel and they'd booked in another person. Pros: The room had a table, microwave, induction cooktop, and more. Plenty of space. The shower was quite comfortable. Cons: There was no washbasin, so I had to use the sink, which was a bit cramped and leaked. The bathroom was always ventilated, which was a bit noisy when sleeping, and the door wouldn't close properly from the outside. The location is really good, though. Yoyogi Station is a 200-meter walk away, and there's a supermarket along the way. However, Yoyogi Station has two exits, so be careful to avoid being scammed (Google Maps tells you to enter and exit the underground to transfer, but if you don't, you'll be charged 150 yen). This proves that the two exits serve as two transportation hubs, making it very comprehensive. Shinjuku Takashimaya and Shinjuku Main Station are also within walking distance. In general, the price/performance ratio is absolutely acceptable. I just hope that the merchant can improve the facilities a little more. Thank you, ありがとう

It's been a week since I returned from Tokyo, and I finally have time to sit down and write a review for this hotel. Let's start with the pros: 1. The location is generally good, though not as 'super unbeatable' as some reviews claim. Perhaps because it happened to be raining that day, and my phone's navigation wasn't very reliable, we ended up circling Shinjuku Station multiple times and it took us at least 30 minutes to find the hotel. Actually, if you exit Shinjuku South Gate and turn right, walk about 200 meters down a slight slope (it was slippery in the rain, a bit tough on shoes), then turn left after Wendy's, go straight until you see a FamilyMart, and the hotel is right across from it. The whole walk should take about 5 minutes. The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway entrance, making transportation very easy. Shinjuku Station's 3rd floor houses the express bus terminal, where you can find self-service ticketing machines with Chinese language options. A 1500 JPY ticket takes you directly to Haneda Airport. Shinjuku truly has everything you could ask for. Within a kilometer of the hotel, you'll find plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Kabukicho isn't too far either. It gets very crowded at night, and it's easy to get lost. Within 200 meters of the hotel, there's a McDonald's and a sports store. There's also a FamilyMart across the street, though you need to walk a bit further and cross a pedestrian crossing. Surprisingly, this particular FamilyMart doesn't sell stamps! 2. Conveniently, there's a shuttle bus service to and from Narita and Haneda airports right downstairs. However, just to be safe, I still opted to drag my luggage to the main bus terminal to catch my ride. 3. The staff members were generally very enthusiastic and helpful. In particular, a slightly overweight gentleman with glasses at check-out proactively assisted me with luggage storage and the self check-out process. The only exception was the young lady who handled my check-in; her speech was quite fast, giving the impression she was a bit rushed. 4. The lobby offered a wide array of complimentary self-service amenities, including makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes, hair ties, razors, and cotton pads, as well as tea bags and coffee. These items pretty much covered all daily skincare needs, which was incredibly convenient. The facial cleanser, in particular, was quite good. 5. Although the room was small, it was well-equipped. Upon check-in, the front desk assigned me to the top floor, the 14th. The card-key access for the elevator provided an added sense of security. From the window, I could see the Don Quijote store in the distance, though it wasn't noticeable at night. In the daytime, I noticed the building opposite had rooftop exhaust fans – fortunately, the soundproofing was excellent, and I couldn't hear any noise from them inside the room. My favorite part was the air conditioning. Every day, after returning hot and tired, I'd set the temperature to 20 degrees Celsius and maximum fan speed, and the entire room would cool down in less than ten minutes. In the mornings, I'd hang out the 'Please clean' sign, and upon my return, the room would be spotless. However, the corridor was a bit winding, requiring two turns to reach my room. There was a laundry room next to the elevator, although I didn't use it. The pillows were very comfortable; I slept soundly both nights. Of course, there are a few areas for improvement: 1. The young lady at the front desk during check-in wore a mask and spoke English quite quickly, giving the impression that she wanted to finish up quickly. It would have been better if guests could see a genuine smile. 2. The round mirror in the room faced directly towards the bed, which felt a bit unsettling. I hope the hotel can consider the cultural sensitivities of Chinese guests. 3. The toothbrush provided was really subpar; the bristles were too hard, and I actually made my gums bleed while brushing. Overall, this hotel is still quite good and will be on my list for future stays.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast service was excellent. The hotel is located on the 7th floor of the building; simply take the elevator up. While there's a curfew, it didn't affect our family trip at all. On the contrary, we appreciated how quiet it made the place.

Great location as it is right in the middle of Shinjuku. Around 10mins walk to the main Shinjuku Station and literally 2 mins away from Shinjuku-Sanchome Station. Tons of food choices and 24 hour convenience stores like 7-11 are all nearby. Just be aware that they do not full housekeeping for free (see other comments) but you can get your trash taken out and new towels when you stick a sign on your door. Stayed for 6 nights and was satisfied.

We lived there with a group of 5 people. 3 bedrooms were perfectly suited. In apartment 2 toilets and 2 shower cabins, which is very convenient when you live in a group. You can cook yourself, but there is no washing machine. The location is quite convenient, the metro station is not far away, there are sights in the walking availability. Only the room cabinets were missing to fold their things, but it is generally a problem for Japan - mini-houses)

This was my third time living in this hotel when I travel to Tokyo. The hotel located in Ningyocho, which is a high-accessibility place but very peace at the same time. There are also 4 convenience store nearby the hotel. The hotel room is big enough, and the room always very tidy. The staffs are nice! Love this hotel so much, highly recommend to those visit tokyo, and I will come back to this hotel again with no doubt❤️

It only takes 10 minutes from the B&B to Shinjuku in Wang District, which is a good choice! Our family of 5 people (2 large and 3 small), the room was very clean, as the photo introduced on Trip.com; There is a large room with 2 double beds and the other room with a double bed, which is just enough to sleep in the larger room than 3 children. The homestay provides toothbrushes, shaving cream, shower gel, shampoo, moisturizer and basic tea bags and coffee. And the same good thing is that he can cook there, and I will book this one next time! Also make a Shabu Shabu!

Pretty good location in Akihabara, quite close to a few convenient stores (closest one is 1~2minute walk). Overall satisfied by the BnB Hotel, just wish there was more hangers for wet towels to air dry. For the shared area outside of the bedrooms, there wasn't any air conditioning or fans. It was very hot during hotter seasons even during night time. It makes it difficult for people to make phone call, or just using the shared space for any purpose due to the uncomfortable temperature. (You'll sweat even if you're just sitting). I might consider visiting again if I want to stay in Akihabara, but I'll rather find somewhere closer to Ikebukuro since there's where I go most often.

Good option for adequate money in Tokyo. The apartment is clean enough. There is everything necessary - kitchen, smart TV, table with chairs, kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine, dryer. The mattress is soft. The settlement is uncontacted, by code to the electronic door lock. The location is convenient - 10 minutes from the metro station and the electricians of Rigoku, from which you can get to Shinzhuk. Also near a grocery store, Japanese fast food gudon. There was a small problem with the settlement time, but the owner provided fair compensation, and it ended well. From the downsides - very small pillows, and in the apartment is dark because the windows come out on the stairs.

We were happy with everything! The perfect location for exploring Tokyo: 4 minutes from the metro, two metro lines nearby, which are very convenient. Norme is new and clean, we had room 201. The description says that it is a one-room number, but in fact it was 3 rooms! Norme is spacious and large! Everything is clean, a comfortable bathroom, in the toilet you can open the window and look out onto the street, we also liked that. The room is in a modern Japanese style, there is a tatami with a Japanese table for meals, we always had dinner on the tatami. The photos completely match the description! The perfect place!

Location wise is situated at the outskirt of Tokyo which is fine if you are driving and wanted a taste of suburban lifestyle in this metropolitan. It's a two-story room, with a futon for two people on the second floor. It was good that rich, convenience stores and McDonald's from the station were nearby, but the unit bus was too narrow. The door didn't close tightly, so the air conditioner came in, and the shower curtain caught on my body while taking a bath, which made me feel uncomfortable. Dormy Inn Ueno-Okachimachi boasts an excellent location, being just the shortest walk from Ueno Station. On our way, we even spotted a Torikizoku sign, and we ended up dining there one evening. Of course, with so many restaurants right across from the hotel and in the surrounding area, my 'choice paralysis' definitely kicked in! The main reason we chose Dormy Inn was for its large public bath, complete with complimentary popsicles and Yakult after a relaxing soak. Breakfast was also fantastic; the fried shrimp in the morning was absolutely divine. The breakfast was so substantial that we stayed full throughout our two-day stay, meaning we even skipped their complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night ramen) in the evenings. The hotel only has one elevator, so there was a bit of a wait during peak hours. From our room, we had a view of the Tokyo Skytree. Despite being right next to the Shuto Expressway, there was absolutely no traffic noise, which speaks volumes about their excellent soundproofing.

I highly recommend this location for all tourists or business travelers. It is in downtown Tokyo and a nice neighborhood; there are many Michelin-starred restaurants nearby. The common area is very clean, not like what Google reviews mentioned. My friend and I had a good time there. The room design is also very modern and stylish. Pros: 1. For a hotel in central Tokyo, priced around 600 RMB, the room was remarkably spacious. Our specific room type even offered extra floor space, easily accommodating three medium-sized suitcases laid out flat. 2. There are five or six subway and JR stations nearby, though all require a bit of a walk. While public transportation is convenient, I often got overwhelmed trying to plan routes using transfer apps. 3. Despite no Chinese-speaking staff, the lady assisting with check-in spoke excellent English, almost as if she'd lived abroad. Checking in via the self-service machine under her guidance was also quite quick. 4. The room was well-cleaned and relatively quiet. Cons: 1. Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 10 AM! A 10 AM check-out felt quite early and a bit strict. 2. No complimentary bottled water is provided. While there's a water dispenser and paper cups in the lobby, it's still best to purchase your own water. 3. I stayed at this hostel for the second time (in 2025 and 2023), and it seemed much more social this time. The breakfast has improved significantly and now offers more choices, although there still aren't enough tables and chairs. The bathrooms and showers are good, and the showers provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel! However, the plugs by the beds only have one USB port, which is a bit inconvenient. We ordered takeout from Domino's down the street and intended to eat in the communal area, but by 10 PM on Saturday night, it was crowded with people drinking, leaving no room for us to eat. That was a bit disappointing. But overall, it's a great hostel! I would recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Location near to shijuku sanchrome station exit E1/ E2 or Metro station Higashi-shinjuku station. If you need to go via Shinjuku main station or odayu station, you need walj 19min ir u if know cut throw lane, it will take about 12 min. They offered bread, cereal, milk, orange juice, and coffee for breakfast. The coffee is nice. 7-9pm they also offer us free flow of liquor like red wine, sake, etc. Staff was friendly and fluent in English.
