Sound insulation is not good, the Spaniards do not sleep in the middle of the night, three or four o'clock is still very noisy. The location is very good, it is the absolute center, so this price is very high, and the room is big enough to be clean enough. Especially to mention this check in. I didn't see the appointment at 6 o'clock in the evening when I booked in advance, until Ctrip confirmed it two days before the trip. I said that I would agree to extend the stay by 30 Euro. We have arrived in Madrid at 8:30, the airport is more than 9 o'clock in the hotel, no one answered the phone at the hotel, the doorbell is not connected, waited an hour to contact the Chinese customer service and then gave a Spanish customer service number, contacted the other's luis After half an hour, I came from home and it was more than 11 o'clock until we checked in. The Spanish service staff luis is still very good. This Ctrip did not communicate well with others. I was scared that I thought I couldn’t live in it, and I didn’t have a house in the surrounding area. I really stayed at the front desk for one night and I didn’t travel at all. I am in a mood.

It's a hostel. The agreement is that there is no reception hall or dining room, but only your room and the location. I took a superior double for myself, and it was a great success: spacious, comfortable, exterior, bright but not noisy (in the Plaza del Sol!!!), with sockets to charge whatever was needed, a good bathroom with good amenities ( a shaving machine!). I imagine a single room would be small and claustrophobic, but I don't know. This was perfect, at a decent price within the excess of Madrid. For the better, an unrepeatable, perfect location. And also, a cordiality to any test: they serve you with an invariable smile.

We loved our stay at Hostal Madrid! The room was simple but exceptionally clean and the bed and bedding was very comfortable. The staff is wonderful! So helpful and friendly. The desk clerk “John” even personally escorted us to a local restaurant in walking distance we were looking for when we came back and reported that we couldn’t find it! The location is excellent- walking distance to Plaza Mayor where we spent a number of pleasant evenings sitting and people watching. Close to a variety of traditional and reasonably priced restaurants and coffee houses, including one that was the scene of a group of friends playing music together. Just minutes walking to the “Sol” metro station with subsequent access to all of Madrid. And, the price for the stay was exceedingly reasonable. The fact that it is located in a very old building with foot wide stone walls also adds to its charm. We are very happy that we began our nearly three week sojourn to Spain with a four day stay at Hostal Madrid.

After the reservation was made the night before, I was particularly satisfied with the requirements of sleeping for the environment, and then stayed. The young lady at the front desk is very good. When I left, I asked how to get to the airport. I told me in detail how to get there. I will choose if I go to Madrid next time.

It's just located very near to Plaza Mayor and Sol station. There are plenty of food options available, and walking to the sights makes it really convenient. The apartment building is located next to Hostal Madrid where we check-in/out. They will provide you with a wireless key which you can access the apartment with your mobile phone, pretty cool. The apartment has a kitchen and basic supplies, but the walls are really thin and we can hear everything that happened on that level. So bring your ear plugs!

I have stayed in many hostels before but at TOC it was the first time I stayed in a shared room ( female only). I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect but it turned out great. The hostel is awesome, has friendly staff and is the most modern hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were quite nicely soundproofed as you couldn't hear much from the hallways as it is usual for other hostels. In my 6 bed female room, we had 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 showers - it was enough. :) I will be coming back, definitely!

Especially good, the location is super good, after renovation, the glass is very soundproof, double-layer, give me room and terrace, the room is also very large, the hand soap is very good, the staff is very warm, the sol is there in the west of the hotel. In the construction, the raspberry bear ( ́-ω-`) is just east, there is no construction here. Not far from the airport bus, in short, I like it very much. It’s not good to be entangled in Samsung before. It’s really great after I live. I like it very much. Very good, better than the Metz hotel.

No breakfast, just in the city center, there are small restaurants and shops everywhere, no extra beds, simple two people sleep very good night, there is a hot water bottle, it is very rare in the cold winter, the Spanish hotel does not have slippers, toothbrushes, Self-provided, living in three stars is like this. Living in this hotel is to experience the feeling of living in an ancient building, with a height of 5 meters.

Good position set feet from the Playa Major. Easy to get to all the major sights. Lots of bars, restaurants & ice cream parlours nearby. Friendly staff, only 1 of whom spoke English well enough to converse with. However, the noisiest city centre hotel room I have ever stayed in (I’ve stayed in cities all over the world). It felt like there was no window - you could hear absolutely everything happening or being said. Ok during the day but at night this led to 4 nights with little sleep. Bathrooms need serious redecoration - mould growing in grouting & ceiling where the paint was hanging off in flakes. A pity as the fittings were of good quality & the toiletries lovely. Ate outside so cannot comment on the food. This 4 night stay cost quite a lot of money & I expected more quality than I got.

Can be an extra bed, we are 8 years old and there is no extra bed fee. But this time the hygiene is not good. On the day of the check-in, the bathtub in the room was all sand and stone. It was not cleaned. Waiting for the waiter to open the night bed, I asked for cleaning. In the evening, I went to the small garden to rest, and I ordered a glass of champagne. The waiter actually used a glass of water-filled glass (estimated to be washed and not dried) and poured champagne directly to me, hehe! The next day, the children will sleep more than 7 o'clock in the afternoon. As a result, the children's bed and the quilt are inexplicably wet. Later I went to the front desk and asked them to make better bedding. Very hurt. In such a good location, the rest of the hotel is very good, it is a sanitary situation, it is unacceptable.

We stayed at the H10 Hotel Puerta de Alcalá at the end of May and middle of June. The hotel was very comfortable and well located. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop deck with great views of Madrid and Retiro Park. The rooms were very comfortable, quiet, and clean. On a day trip I mistakenly left my camera bag in a taxi. On my return to the hotel later that day, Juan C. at reception helped me begin communications with the taxi company to try to locate the camera bag. For the next few weeks after I had returned home to Canada, Juan diligently followed up and coordinated with the taxi company, organized payment for retrieval of the camera bag then prepared it for shipment to my home in Canada. He went above and beyond the usual service expected at a hotel and I wanted to point out his excellent assistance. Robert S.

Anything you read that's positive is true: it's new, clean, perfectly located, reasonably priced, great breakfast, etc, but it seems like every menber of the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's an easy walk to the Royal Palace, the Plaza de Espana subway stop is directly across the street, lots of restaurants close by, easy walk to Puerta del Sol, excellent dinner in the restaurant. large rooms. An extremely well run operation that should be the model for others in it's class.

Rooftop bar with heated swimming pool. Restaurant with nice breakfast available (we had our breakfast previously booked and are very glad we did so). We arrived early and had our luggage safe stored by the front desk personnel; same for when we had our check-out (late flight). Super nice, friendly, helpful professional personnel. Superb location, if you are a moderate walker you can walk to just about everywhere. Lots and lots of restaurants (all prices range) within 200m radius (some 24h open). The hotel is centrally located on Atocha street and you can easily access all major attractions, restaurants, cafes and shops. They have a strict policy of check in and check out. The staff was very helpful and when our flight got postponed tried to do their best with finding a solution for us for the day. We stayed in 2 different types of apartments. A 2 bedroom and a studio. The studio experience was much better. There was a french balcony to the main street which we could open for air. The 2 bedroom apartment was slightly stfiling and the windows could not be opened. The shower room is quite small. Each apartment has a small kitchen and a washer. It is all very basic but definitley enough for just a stay and it is worth the price.

We stayed here for a few short days in Madrid. The location is very convenient, both in regarding to walking distances and metro stops and buses. Plaza del Sol and Plaza Mayor can be visited by foot or transit. As well there are shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is on a higher floor within a secure building and entry is by key code (and buzzed in when you first arrive). It is nicely decorated and kept very clean. The bathroom has a shower with good water pressure and plenty of light. Our room was 2 twin beds with nightstands, lights, and conveniently placed plugs. There was also a desk, TV, and area to hang clothes. Our room looked out to the inner courtyard and was quiet. The air conditioning worked though we found we didn’t need it at that time of year with the ceiling fan sufficing. The staff were very kind, professional, and helpful especially since our flight was a very late night arrival. I would definitely stay here again.

ACCESS : hotel is ~ 200m from Herrera Oria Metro stop - exit at the Herrera Oria exit, the alternative leaves you 50 m further away and downhill. From this metro station Madrid centre is 30-45 minutes away, at a cost of €2. ROOMS : very spacious, separate bath, shower, toilet, 2 wash basins, microwave BREAKFAST : fresh orange juice for every table, good range of pastries, bread, meats, eggs, - very good OUTDOOR POOL : 13.5m diameter, good for swimming, ~180cm deep everywhere so not really child friendly, sun blocked after about 6pm, open strictly 10.30am to 8.30pm, plenty of towels and loungers GYM: best you will ever see in a hotel, looks like it was once a thriving sports club with turnstiles but Covid probably killed it - now 4 rooms of every machine you could ever want. Indoor pools were drained - maybe they will be refilled in the autumn when the outside pool closes RESTAURANTS : Taberna La Illustracion is a 10-15 minute walk - run by mother an daughter - delicious food at a great price (€40 for 4 drinks and salad starter + main). Alright is America style restaurant - good, and only place where English was used. Several smaller cafes in the area offering standard 'raciones' - all good. Great hotel for exploring Madrid from.

This review is for 60 balconies iconic. So, a surprise for me, after reserving on booking.com, is that this is an apart hotel. Positives - the location is AMAZING and the room (we had an appt for 3 people) was EXCELLENT . Staff were very helpful. Very clean throughout. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A gorgeous breakfast was delivered every morning. Bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals… Negatives - pool (which had workmen upgrading the roof terrace) was freezing. Naturally, not heated, but attached to hose from mains water. Icy. Personally, not a fan of the frosted glass doors/walls to the toilet. We had a large teenager sleeping on the pull down single bed. Was a bit small. Positives far outweigh the negatives. As long as you don’t have your heart set on swimming, you will not regret staying here.

The hostel is located on the 4th floor of a building few mt away from Plaza del Sol so basically the center of the center and this should be a great news but... 1) The room is approx 16 sq mt , it can fit just a bedroom and a very small bathroom 2) The closet is basically non existent . You can just put there a very small luggage and no shelves 3) Below the hotel you have at least 4 restaurant and most of all a pub which is open until 5 AM, and you'll basically have 24/7 people singing , loud, ect. This will happen on every single day of the week, not only the weekend 4) Each single morning at approx 5:30 AM you'll get the noise from the road cleaning plus the trucks delivering the beer.... to the pub! 5) The room , as well the window, is not sound proofed so... good luck with your sleep 6) The sun is hitting the building almost all day, so this means at night it's like Frodo it's about to drop a ring in your room. 7) The A/C it's noisy and due the fact that the room is so small it's basically 1mt away from your bed. Good look with your health To wrap up: good place for a night, but no longer than that!

Oh goodness where to start.... After a couple of weeks of traveling we were ending our trip with a night at the AC Hotel near the airport for ease of travel the next morning. We arrived and met Carmen, she is AMAZING! Bottom line when my friend made the reservation she made it for October 30th, not October 29th, and the hotel was full. After some mad typing and serious looking on the computer Carmen found us the very last room in the hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous, well appointed, and really comfortable, very sad we were only able to enjoy it for one evening. DON'T USE THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE!!!! So, the next morning, we used the airport shuttle service, OMG! The shuttle driver the next morning if it was on a rating system the star would have to start with a negative. She was unkind, unhelpful, and REALLY RUDE! Be aware when you are using this service you better do your research and know the specific terminal you are flying out of, not the airline, as she will rain hell down on your head. Thank goodness the staff in the hotel was so wonderful, professional, and terrific, couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

I look forward to returning at the end of September for another stay following my trip to The States.

I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. Sweet rooms, bad smell everywhere to the point of giving you arcades, bathroom shared with 7 rooms with mugre (we dare not use it) the door of the room was not closed well... the bed had chinches and the sofas I think they were not clean, summarized a lot of dirt. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. A total tim because we pay for a hostel and gives us is ”pension” for calling it in any way. I would not come back or recommend anyone who would think to spend a night there. To finish we should have a private bathroom and we meet with a griff in The room with good understanding is over the words.

Hotel that is not really a ... No reception on site which is located in another establishment****t of a adjacent street. A double-room, despite the persistent smell of freshly posed painting ... A simple room, at the same price, absolutely escaped: very demanding with bathroom of the same end; very difficult to return, no rangement possible and especially giving side street, which is particularly animated all night ... A this add the total absence of noise insonorization of the building that decouples the very noisy character of this establishment*****t : Telephone, access to conversations including telephones from your room neighbors, doors that clack, voice screams and ************** ... live guaranteed! For the telereality amateurs this can therefore do the case... The only positive points are: - The innocent cleanliness of this establishment*****t. The only soul that lives and possible interlocutor... - His geographical location - And especially the establishment*****t from the face! Blume Cruz suites where you can take a delicious breakfast while enjoying a particularly sympathetic and warm welcome :)
