I led a group of 25 people to Portland for a meeting. I chose the Kimpton Vintage Portland from a list our organization's meetings and conferences bureau provided. It was a great choice. We had a great meeting room. The meals were good and in a nice private room. The staff was always available for any requests. The rooms were great. My partner who spent a lot more time in the room found it very comfortable. There were plenty of outlets for both AC and USB. The three-sided clock was genius-you could see the time display from three sides. The bed was real comfortable and the heating responsive. He rates it the best one we have stayed in. They had free loaner bicycles to explore Portland. They offer a happy hour with wine sampling every evening and some times hors d'oeuvres. They are even just a block from the light rail, making it simple, economical ($2.50 for adults and $1.50 for seniors), and environmentally responsible to get there from the airport. I strongly recommend it for business or leisure trips.

The rooms are nice and the location is super good. It is also very convenient. Meals are beautiful. The hotel's private parking space is more expensive and can be parked on the road outside. Free parking is available at night. I just don't know why Ctrip's price is very unstable. But it seems a bit more cost-effective than a website in the United States.

Great stay at a newly refurbished property in the heart of Portland. It was walking distance to the Red Line, Voodoo Doughnuts, Pioneer Park and just about anything else you would need. We received phenomenal service from the beginning of our stay to the moment we checked out. Everyone we came in contact with was extremely friendly and provided us with great recommendations on where to eat and what to see while we were in town. Our room was very cozy (very small) and had absolutely no view out the window (we were 8' from a brick wall). But, out front desk agent warned us of this before we checked-in, so we knew what to expect. Amenities were on-point: + Our bed was very comfortable, + There were an array of pillows to choose from + The bed linens were soft + The water quickly got hot for my morning shower + The room was sound proof + The coffee shop in the lobby is the perfect place to lounge around all day + The bar serves-up some truly legendary drinks and phenomenal culinary treats verall, GREAT stay and some place I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Portland - no matter what the occasion.

Most importantly, our king size bed was VERY comfortable, as were the sheets and comforter. Check in was a breeze and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a bit dated and small, but still clean and very functional. Due to COVID-19, breakfast consisted of beverages and packaged muffins. Location was very convenient to the airport. There are a number of fast food and budget restaurants within a half mile radius of the hotel. Price was among the best in the airport area - great price for the value received!

I started an 11 day trip along the Oregon coast here and spent our last night in Oregon here also. LOVE it here. The room and bathroom are extremely clean. Beds are comfortable. Small continental breakfast of coffee, tea, granola bars, pastry and fruit, just enough to hold you over until lunch. This motel is so close to the freeways which take you anywhere fast. Wonderful location to the airport, so close and convenient. Out of my 10 nights staying in different motels this was by far one of the best and the price is so right!!!!!

I stayed end of July in Room #2- the bed was so comfortable!! All the shared rooms, including the bathrooms, were always neat and clean. The location was very convenient- very close to restaurants, drug/grocery stores, and train station. I got to meet Tim on my check in day and he gave me all sorts of great tips re the city and places to go. Both him and Stephen were patient answering all my questions/emails leading up to my visit. I am definitely going to book with them again next I am in Portland, and I highly recommend them!

I really feel that this hotel is not worthy of the "Sheraton" brand! Let’s talk about it. I went to the airport and waited for the free shutter of his home for a full half hour. I didn’t expect Portland to be so cold at night, the clothes were worn less, and the dog was frozen! Then the car came, the driver did not get off the luggage, the whole master, so I also decisively did not tip! When I arrived at the front desk of the hotel, I checked in and unfortunately met a girl suspected of racism. When I saw that we were Chinese, I immediately stretched my face a lot and went to the room in a bad mood. I gave the most remote room on the first floor. I walked far away and said that I opened the curtains and saw only one wall! Oh, really depressed! I think about ten o'clock in the evening, I am too lazy to change the room again, ready to wash and sleep, and found that the sewer is not working! It’s really a slap in the face, and I’m going to call the front desk for repairs. Fortunately, this time the repairman came faster, and finally took a shower before 11:00! Is this like the Sheraton Hotel? I really doubt that I lived in the fake Sheraton! Also, another disadvantage of living on the first floor is that the restaurant fume on the first floor of the hotel is filled directly into the room, but there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom! So accompanied by the smell of soot, we spent a night unhappy! I really don't recommend this hotel!

The best thing about the Downtown Value Inn (DVI) is its location in the heart of downtown Portland. It is a convenient distance from Tom McCall Waterfront Park, where I attend the Waterfront Blues Festival each July, It is next to Portland State University and within walking distance of the Portland State and the Old Town Saturday markets and numerous eateries. Second, the price is very reasonable in the context of Portland during vacation season. The elite hotels like the Marriott charge outrageous prices and even the mid range hostelries charge well over $100 per night (my rate through Hotels.com was slightly under $100, not including tax). The DVI is no frills and it has its flaws. In room amenities include a refrigerator and microwave but no coffee maker. My room (#33) had no place to hang clothes. Apparently, there used be a rack, but it was removed to accommodate a large flat screen TV (as an aside, there was a good mix of channels available). There is plenty of wall space available to install another rack. I had trouble connecting to the Internet; however, the desk clerk was very helpful in getting me connected and it functioned well thereafter. The bed was comfortable. While it took a long while for hot water to reach the shower, it did finally arrive. Parking is free and 1st come, 1st served, as there are not enough spaces for all the rooms. Most of the other hotels and motels either don't have parking or they charge for it. The only negative about the subterranean parking is that the spaces are very narrow and are bounded by wide concrete pillars, and it is very tricky maneuvering a vehicle into place. I was barely able to squeeze my mid size car into place without scraping against concrete. However, it was free and I walked everywhere during my 5 night stay (i.e., didn't have to go in and out and worry about not having a space).. So bottom line, DVI met my needs and I have already reserved a room for next July.

Hotel location is very good, the door is the station of Max orange line, just 10 minutes to the Pioneer Square, eating and shopping is super convenient. The room facilities are generally the same, the sound of the indoor air conditioner is relatively large, if you mind, you need to pay attention. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is ok. Check in when there is a baked cookie, the Indian brother at the front desk is very good. The front desk service is not bad, any questions are patiently answered.

Breakfast is the least variety I have ever experienced, only square bags, breakfast cereals, milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, no more! As soon as I stepped into the hotel room, the dirty smell of a carpet came out, and the old-fashioned air conditioner was noisy. The floor under the carpet of the room is really too old, and it creaks on the floor and is not flat. Only free parking is more convenient. I don't want to come anymore.

We were told that smoking was not allowed in the rooms, however, our room smelled like cigarette smoke upon arrival. Additionally, this may not be known by the hotel, but we booked through Hotels.com and had filtered for hotels offering free parking, and the Jupiter came up so we did not realize there was a $15 fee for parking. Related, the trek between the parking garage and the hotel was a bit of a pain (on separate blocks), and there was no clear way to enter the garage when not in your car, so we would key in and walk down the car ramp, which seemed a bit unsafe. Another marketed bonus in our Hotels.com reservation was 2 free drinks upon arrival at the Jupiter, which I assume was not offered due to the bar being closed. Just another hiccup that might be good to clear up for future guests. Overall we liked the hotel space and staff, but we were bummed with the surprises like that smokey smelling room, parking fee (likely just a hotels.com mixup), bar closure, and parking garage difficulties and fees.

Had a 1 night stay reservation. Once we got there, the front desk area was quite narrow (especially with luggage) but had lavish appointments. The staff at check in was not friendly and very pretentious. Once we got to our room, it was nicely decorated but quite small for the price. Plus almost everything cost a fee, so keep an eye out for that. We grabbed a small appetizer from the restaurant to try it out, the food was overpriced and not good. Our server was cold to us, similar to the front desk staff, and it took us more than once to flag him down in a non busy restaurant, he never checked in on us. We walked around the city for a bit because we were there on business. I got back to the hotel restaurant, and asked if I could have a cup of water. The bartender told us they were not allowed to give out a cup or glass of water, even for hotels guests. I said what if I bring my own cup, they said no, hotel policy. We checked out the next day, only to find out that the hotel charged us a resort fee and additional fees for services we didn't use. So that was a struggle. Pros: They have a beautiful library area that you can sit in and borrow a book to read while there and get work done quietly. Cons: Everything else about the hotel unfortunately. Overall this place is over priced and the staff is not friendly at all. If you have to stay here, please triple check your bill, lots of duplicitous fees. I won't be returning and cannot recommend.

This hotel is not a Hilton hotel, but the price is higher than Hilton, and the room has a musty smell, because Ctrip's address navigation directly leads to the Hilton Hotel. It took an hour to find the location in the one-way downtown area. The crash, because under the name of Hilton, it was indeed a routine pit. This is the worst time for Ctrip to be pitted. It is not known whether there are many exposure fines for driving. There is really nothing remarkable about this hotel. Valet parking costs $ 52. Will not choose this hotel again, the lobby is very noisy in the evening and the service attitude is average.

Went to Portland OR September 7 til the 18th. Was visiting my daughter and spent 6 days in the Portlander Inn as I didn't wish to overstay my welcome. I loved this hotel. From registration to checkout I had nothing but a great experience with the staff. They were welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my stay. This hotel met all my needs. There is a 24 hour grocery store, a laundromat and movie theater. The hotel offers free breakfast from a limited menu but if you order off the full menu you will receive $6 off the price. Please remember to tip the server off the full price. I made the mistake of adding more food to my free breakfast. There was way too much food. Be prepared. I am returning to Portland in May 2020 and plan on staying there again. If you are expecting a Hilton or other luxury hotel you may be disappointed however if you are looking for a clean place to sleep and shower at a reasonable price then this is the place for you.

If you want to shop nearby, you can visit the Lloyd Center Mall (about ten minutes walk). The room allocated was quite large. March 2020 My husband Bill and I stayed at this place for our 6 day honeymoon in March of 2020 during the Coronavirus outbreak. We had no concerns and had most parks to ourselves. I read every review on this Trip Advisor website regarding the Evermore Guest house. It was obvious to me that those reviews with the lower ratings were from those guests who required more attention and are high maintenance. When we did have questions regarding the Evermore, Ms. Epic, was wonderful in answering all our questions. The owner Chris made himself available as needed and not intrusive, great. The maintenance man, Brock, took care of our concerns without hesitation. Our 2nd floor room and the extra long king size bed was wonderful for us. The bathroom and double shower head in the ball and claw bath tub was a great shower experience. The location of the Evermore was absolutely perfect for us due to all the walking around we did for the different nearby restaurants. We walked a minimum of 12,000 steps every day in getting to know the neighborhood and the many parks. We enjoined the wide variety of breakfast items, the fresh coffee brewed every morning, and the Room and the refrigerator for us to leave our own meal items made this a wonderful stay. Succinctly speaking, this 50+ year old bride loved the ambiance, the quaintness and privacy. My husband, loved the price and location. Chris, I know you will keep up this beautiful 1909 house in this 2020 attitude. Warmest regards, The Bonds
