The location is very good, and most scenic spots are within 2 kilometers. Although the hotel is a bit old, it still feels very tasteful. The service is a bit lacking.  1. It's a good geographical location for sightseeing, so when I was tired during sightseeing, I would come in for a short rest and then go out again. 2. The air conditioner cooling/heating worked normally, and the bedding was clean and nice. 3. The sink, bathroom, and toilet are separated from each other. There is nothing particularly inconvenient, but it was disappointing that there was no bathtub. 4. The shower head in the bathroom was fixed at the top, so I couldn't move it freely, so this part was inconvenient. 5. There was a large TV, refrigerator, and iron. 6. The view was satisfactory because there was a nice building right in front of it. 7. But the real highlight of this hotel is the rooftop lounge. The night view from the rooftop is unparalleled. (Rooftop is very popular. It is a hot place with rooftop customers from early evening to dawn.)

By far the worst JW Marriott 'experience' I've had. The elevator system was terrible, often times waiting for 20-30 mins for the elevator, and when it arrives, it's already full, having to wait for other elevators. This elevator system need to be reprogrammed. The fitness center was close and there was no notice anywhere that it was closed. I called the fitness center to ask if the fitness center has moved, the front desk responded I can go to the Westin Hotel fitness center, which was 1 mile away. One evening the fire system went off and we were told to evacuate the hotel, as we were walking down the stairs, they notified it was a false alarm. The location is great, but I will not stay here again.

The hotel is in a very good location, right outside the White House, and close to DC's main attractions and museums. If you are physically fit, you can walk there. The lobby is very classical and gorgeous, but the room facilities are average, and certainly cannot be compared with the four or five-star hotels in our country. It is a short distance away from famous tourist attractions by public transportation! However, it is close and can be reached in 1-20 minutes by public transportation. When I stayed, there was construction on the first floor and there was noise, but I only felt it when I checked in and didn't feel it inside the room. Since it is a university area, there are convenient facilities such as convenience stores and Starbucks.

There is no breakfast, but there are quite a few meals downstairs and around. There are two bedrooms, a living room and a sofa bed, which should be able to live with a family. I didn't know the parking situation without driving. A few steps away is the White House, and the surrounding environment is very good. Would highly recommend to friends who want to go to Washington to play.

The hotel can rent bicycles, the room is decorated in white style, but the space is a little lost. It’s a pity that there is no landscape. However, the hotel service was quite good, and the bicycle seat was too high to help me adjust for a long time. I called the hot water bottle and sent it directly along with the hot water, and there was a teacup. I look forward to a better view of the window next time I stay.

The room is nice, the hotel is in a very good location, the surrounding environment is good, and it is very close to the White House. However, the front desk service and catering service are really chaotic. It takes an hour from arriving at the restaurant, ordering, and serving breakfast. There are constant problems with the order at the front desk, and the waiters have different explanations. The high-end hotel management of such a large hotel group is very disappointing. Fortunately, Ctrip service helped us solve the problem.

The hotel has a good location in DC. We spent four days in the hotel, and we explored the central part of DC (National Hall, Washington Monument, White House, Capitol Hill, and many Smithsonian Museums) by walk (all less than 30-minute walk, which is reasonable) most of the daytimes. The front desk ladies were welcoming and friendly. One thing deserves to be complained about is that the soundproofing of the hotel was not good. We hear nextdoor’s customers talking and street car sirens. But our overall experience is good.

The hotel is comfortable and spacious, with the elegance of an old-fashioned hotel. The breakfast is freshly made and delicious. Go to the central grassland, the core attraction, and the White House can be reached on foot. Two blocks away is Chinatown, which is convenient for eating. Macy's and various famous stores are not far away. One stop for all requirements. The only downside is that there is a humming in the ventilation duct that is facing, it must be replaced.

Room size are big, they have washer but no dryer in the room. The location is close to the metro and there are bus stops nearby that basically takes you to the Capitol Hill area etc. White House is just around 2 blocks away. Downside is there is no grocery nearby, the closest one is about 15 mins walk at least. There are plenty of decent restaurants in walking distance.

Everything about this hotel was perfect for my trip. The front desk staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The concierge provided great recommendations for food and activities, made sure I got on the right bus, told me exactly where to get off, and checked in at the end of my trip to make sure everything went smoothly. I was traveling alone on this trip and felt very safe at the hotel. The room was well-appointed, clean, and although it was on a fairly busy street, it was not noisy. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future.

Large room for the price, which was nice. Hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Great location for walking. The amenities were just ok -- the curtains didn't quite block out all the light and the AC was fairly noisy and weak -- turning the temperature down or the fan level higher didn't seem to make much of a difference, and the unit was blowing just slightly cool air as opposed to cold air. Granted, we didn't ask to move since it was only hot the last couple nights of our stay and we just slept without the sheets on.

It was an overall worthwhile and satisfactory experience. There was one incident though where I requested for a cab service to DCA on the night before I checked out. There was no reservation made. It’s quite disappointing but it nevertheless worked out for me since I had other means. But had I not, I would have thrown a fit! At the very least they should have reconfirmed with me at the time I checked out if I still needed the cab service. Apart from this, all else was great- the food choices for breakfast, even the coffee and tea options. Location was also great since it was quite near the White House and CVS. The room was also about right size for a single occupant, clean and with adequate amenities.

Stayed four nights for a conference across the street at the Hilton. I have stayed here once before and had a good stay. It seems to have gone downhill, as the service was terrible no matter who I spoke to at the front desk. Housekeeping never came my entire stay despite: 1) being told housekeeping is every 2 days (according to one person ) or 3 days (according to a different person); 2) requesting trash pickup, extra hangars, two clean towels on Day 2 and being told it would happen while I was gone for the day; 3) requesting it again on the next day since it didn't happen previously. Again, I returned to my room at the end of the day and it had not happened. Explained this to the front desk upon checkout on Day 4 and they were ”shocked.” No attempt to rectify/compensate though. Another problem was I missed a delivery one evening because the phone was not working in my room. They never fixed it. I was dealing with a different person each time and not a single one was able to address any of the above issues. Last time I am staying here.

They provided us with a handicap room without informing us upon checking in. As the rooms had all the required facilities like hand rails etc. the mattress is also sinking especially on the left side not the Marriott standard. We had prepaid the room for 4 pax but only provide 3 pax bath towels, request the 4th pax bath towel after checking in, need to request again after we came back late night for the shower. The location is nearby the metro station.

Love the idea of the capsule hotel and enjoy having privacy. However the capsule only had an underpowered USB port and no powerpoint which made charging very frustrating and long endeavour. Hostel close to alot of food and bars, cvs across the road and subway around the corner too. Made Life very easy. Check in process was annoying, as the trip.com app doesn't take state tax I had an oustandign balance on arrival which means I couldn't do a self check-in so I had to wait 4 hours out the front of the building with my bags for the 6pm check in time slot as they run 10am to 1pm and 6pm to 10pm checkin. Each floor had a toilet and shower located in the basement seemed fine no major cleansing issues.

first off, i booked a king room but was given 2 queen beds instead, they said you don’t always get that when you book through a 3rd party because they do not know what rooms are actually available, second, i requested that my room be cleaned everyday that i stayed, but was not, i had to go downstairs to ask for new towels 2 nights in a row, on the 3rd night i finally asked the front desk and they showed me a small sign that said they do not clean until your 4th day of stay, they can do a quick refresh if you ask before 9pm the night before, lastly, i was charged $41.73 on top of what i paid to Trip.com, i called to ask about it a few days after my trip when i saw it on my credit card, they said it was an amenities charge for each of the days i stayed, whaat? the only amenity i used was the elevator, never have i ever been charged for anything other than the price of the hotel, needless to say i will not be staying here again and will not recommend it to anyone

Before returning to China yesterday, I chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The overall experience has highlights, but there are also some unsatisfactory aspects. When I walked into the hotel lobby, the first feeling was that it was open and bright, and the space was very spacious. There was no crowded feeling of people coming and going in other hotels. I felt comfortable and comfortable walking inside. The check-in speed was also very fast. The staff will kindly hand over an introduction paper, which clearly marked the hotel's various service facilities and precautions. It was convenient and practical, and the favorability was instantly full. However, when I walked into the assigned room, my mood suddenly dropped. This time I was arranged in a corner. The layout of the room was a bit strange, and the lighting was not ideal, giving people a sense of depression. The bathroom was even more ”disaster area”. The space was very small, and the sanitary conditions were worrying. There were still other people's hair in the washbasin, which instantly made me question the hotel's sanitation management. I thought that five-star hotels would achieve the ultimate in hygiene, but I didn't expect such a problem to occur. It was really disappointing. There are also some unhumane aspects in the check-in process. Other five-star hotels can check in by themselves as long as they can make a successful reservation on the Ctrip platform, but here, adults aged 21 and above must assist to complete the check-in procedure, which undoubtedly adds a lot of trouble for guests traveling alone or whose companions do not meet the age requirements. However, the hotel's porter service is remarkable. They are enthusiastic and quick, and they actively help to carry luggage and patiently answer my questions along the way. I can really feel the hotel's professional service quality from them, which is also one of the few warm moments in this imperfect stay experience. I hope the hotel can improve the room allocation, hygiene management and check-in process, and I believe this will bring guests a better accommodation experience.

I stayed two nights on a business trip, and overall it was great. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming, and helped me with a few things throughout the stay. The lobby's nothing special - just a desk and a few steps to the elevator, and there's an underlying smell from the gas heat. The rooms themselves are great. Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, and I was given a room facing the back of the hotel so it was very quiet (I'll always choose quiet over view). There's a Welcome Hour every evening from 5-6 where you can get a glass of wine/beer or cocktail for free, which is a nice touch, and there are water refill (still or sparkling!) and ice stations on every floor. Overall, it was a great stay.

This hotel is hard to describe, because it was booked for a temporary night, and I went directly to the front desk and said there was no room, but I booked it on Ctrip, and the room WiFi was charged. The front desk searched for a long time, the service was very bad, and I had already paid in full on Ctrip. I also received a pre-authorization of 750 dollars in 3 days, and I booked another one at the same time. The front desk kept saying that the room was full, and then I contacted Ctrip at 12:00 at night. Looking for a hotel upstairs, I changed a front desk staff with a very good attitude and helped us open the room. The hotel canceled the buffet breakfast due to the epidemic, and now they order food online by themselves, and each order will charge a delivery fee of 6 dollars. The hotel is located fairly near Union station, however there is a massive problem with homeless people hanging around outside. Overall, the rooms are clean if not a little dated. We had a question over credit card charges. Our family booked the room online with Trip and the hotel preauthorised our card $340 dollars, on arrival charged $200 dollars deposit and then took a further $190 for some reason until o removed the authority on the card. A two night stay is equal to $740 dollars while we wait for refunds. The hotel could do more to make sure dangerous homeless do not wait around outside, and when there was a problem in my last night outside the security disappeared. If you want a bolt hole in Washington DC this is okay, for a family friendly environment due to problems outside and charging issues this is not the place to visit

There are many rental apartments nearby, mainly for children to study abroad. The hotel is very close to the Anacostia River in Washington, D.C., and there is an open park by the river. The hotel provides free bottled water in the refrigerator at the front desk every day, and no one checks the card for breakfast. The room has an induction cooker and an apartment-style workbench, but no windows that can be opened. The streets are wide and clean, worthy of being the capital. White people can be seen walking leisurely with their dogs from time to time, unlike the narrow streets in Seattle where black homeless people can be seen on the street corners from time to time. The sense of security here has increased.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the subway. Overall, it could be a good hotel, but my experience was significantly affected by poor service. For example, the shampoo, conditioner, and other toiletries were all empty upon arrival, and despite a five-day stay, they were never replenished. On most days, I also had to request coffee capsules, which then took hours to be delivered. The most disappointing part, however, was the checkout. I had arranged a late checkout for 1 p.m. with the reception, but at 12 noon, housekeeping tried to force the door open and shouted at me to leave. I will definitely not return.
