Very good breakfast rooms are a good size. We had issues with bookings regarding breakfast and city tax but the hotel honoured the booking and found it strange that city tax had already been paid.
If you intend to stay at this hotel and go sightseeing I would buy days passes and then it does not matter. There is a supermarket across the road from the Hotel but restaurants are limited. the hotel has a bar if you like to sit around and have a drink.

|3.55km from Weichselstr. (Berlin)The location is about a 5-minute walk from Gesundbrunnen train station. Check-in is only possible at the machines at the check-in desk. However, staff are available if you need assistance. I was charged €51 right at the beginning, even though it was a prepaid rate; I have no idea why, but the refund was processed promptly. The room was okay, with some stains, including on the curtains. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, so there's not much you can do about that, unfortunately. Otherwise, there were two cups, tea bags, instant coffee, a refrigerator, a TV, and (unstable) Wi-Fi. The bathroom was okay, although there were no towels upon arrival; these were provided later. A tip for the aparthotel: Check-in is only possible at the Ocak Hotel; the aparthotel itself doesn't have a reception (a tip for the hotel: A notice at the aparthotel entrance would be helpful!). Well, overall, if the price is right, the hotel is acceptable, but the staff as a whole doesn't seem very welcoming (I asked for cutlery on the first evening, and an older employee in a suit tried to charge me €1 for plastic cutlery; I think my look was enough for him to understand that he shouldn't). The staff in the bar on the evening of October 22nd also didn't make me, as a guest, feel comfortable lingering there!

The hotel is very well connected to the Friedrichstr. station, the Ostbahnhof and, most importantly, the main station by bus 147. The main station can also be easily reached with the U5 from the Museumsinsel station. Our destination was the Museum Island, which is within walking distance.
The breakfast buffet included the welcome smoothie, the selection of bread/rolls and the “egg station”, i.e. Omelette upon request very good and varied. Since ARCOTEL is an Austrian chain, the coffee and juices come from Meindl or Rauch. The quality is there.
In our opinion, the house is fully recommended.
If it hadn't been for the incident with my double booking of a no-cancellation rate, which the hotel refused with no goodwill (voucher of any amount), we could describe the stay as an all-round success.

Apartment rooms still have ancient door keys, one for the unit door and one for the room door. They need to be kept well, and you will have to pay for them if they are lost.
The apartment is fully furnished, with one bedroom and two living rooms. It has a kitchen for cooking, including an induction cooker, oven, dishwasher, bread machine, and coffee machine. There is a large supermarket nearby, which is super convenient for buying ingredients. I cook every day. There is a washing machine (no drying, only spin drying).
The bed in the room is very big, with two single mattresses on the double bed and a single quilt. The bed is very hard and I slept soundly.
It should be noted that his family has rooms in several nearby streets, but the check-in office is some distance away from the room, so you may have to drag your suitcase across two streets to get to the room after checking in.

Unfortunately, although we had requested a quiet room, it was located directly on the street and was very noisy because we slept with the window open. When we asked, they offered us an alternative for an additional charge, but we declined. No credit card was requested at check-in, so unfortunately nothing could be booked for the room.
As soon as we arrived, we noticed the many cobwebs on the facade. These were also found on the signs above the room doors in the hallway. There is a nice fitness room. The bar is very nice, the staff very attentive and friendly. There is almost nothing missing at breakfast. Köpenick has a very beautiful old town and good restaurants. Despite the minor irregularities, we will choose this hotel again if we have to go to this part of Berlin.

We particularly like the extremely friendly and helpful staff, who raise the level of service to a high level. The valet parking was excellent, the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, and our room was in very good condition.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the breakfast. We would have expected more for a hotel of this category and price range. The hot dishes were unfortunately cold, and the famous currywurst without casing was fried for far too long. The biggest criticism for us, however, was the quality of the baked goods - they were rock hard, even worse on Sunday. The selection of cheese and sausage was also rather boring and not very creative. In addition, breakfast was the same on both days, which is often more varied in comparable hotels. Another point is the chairs in the breakfast room, some of which had very worn or broken leather - a replacement would be desirable.
Despite these criticisms, our stay was very pleasant overall. The hotel is really great, and the whole team deserves a lot of praise! We would be happy to come back.

The minibar was free and German beer was also placed!
And the best part is the Jungle Sauna on the upper floor.
Self-roasting is possible in the Finnish sauna.
Pour water on the stove and adjust it, and a hot sauna is ready!
There is a rest space next to the sauna where you can take a shy bath.
Sparkling water and German beer were also available.
Please note that the sauna is a mixed-gender bath and swimsuits are prohibited.
Bath towels are placed in the sauna, so you don't need to bring them from your room.
Bathrobes can be borrowed from reception.
Stylish hotel, great sauna, friendly staff, everything was great.
I will stay at this hotel again when I visit Berlin next time.
