The staff and the service were the best part of this hotel! The staff were truly kind, friendly, and always willing to help the guests. I'd give a 100 out of 10 for the staff! The room seemed clean and nice upon entering, however, later found very small bugs running continuously around the bed and the small table next to it. I guess nothing can be done about the small bugs because they can enter through the smallest gaps in the windows and the doors. Also, the rooms are very noisy, you can hear people talking in the corridors, rooms next to yours and some sort of fans operating nonstop. Would recommend bringing ear plugs because even as a not-very-sensitive person, I had a hard time trying to fall asleep.

Some areas felt poorly maintained, such as a damaged telephone cable coming out of the wall, dusty spaces under the furniture, and a dirty terrace. The curtains also looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a while, and the bathroom was not very clean either. Overall, the stay was somewhat disappointing considering the relatively high price. On the positive side, this is the only accommodation in the Ancol area that offers a cottage-style stay close to both the beach and the lake, which makes the location quite unique.

This was our first hotel in Jakarta with the kids, and overall, it was pretty good. While it might not quite measure up to the Shangri-La, for the price, I think it offers incredible value for money. The kids' play area was decent too. I even saw a staff member meticulously folding towels, which showed a good attention to detail. The only thing I didn't quite understand was why kids weren't allowed in the executive lounge, but thankfully, they opened up a meeting room for us to dine in instead.

Everything was excellent! The lobby is huge, with a reception desk, and the staff were pleasant and responsive, offering free drinks! The apartments are wonderful, spacious with very high ceilings and large windows, yet you can't hear any street noise. The bed is comfortable and large. It has everything you need. Housekeeping and towel changes every day! Both the lobby and apartments smell pleasant. There are two pools (!) (one indoor and one outdoor), and a good gym. Across the road is a shopping center with a wide selection of cafes and restaurants. Taxis have no trouble finding the apartment entrance.

This is my first time returning to Jakarta after a decade for the business trip purpose. I stay at AYANA as my Indonesia office is located at Midplaza 1 building - very convenient access between hotel and office building with the underground walkway avioding the sun. The hotel gracously assigned a very nice and spaceous room for me - exactly matched with the pre-requisite made during the reservation; away from elevator and quiet. The room was very clean and well-prepped. The air conditioning functioned normally and cool enough. No weird smell and no smoking smell detected while entering the room at all. I did have an inconvenience incident relating to the flower vase due to my personally allergy of flower pollen, which was quickly taken care of by the housekeeping and guest relation teams as soon as I notified them. And I was highly appreciated that the hotel took this matter seriously. I did receive a small note froom the housekeeping team - this was very nice! The breakfast line was fine. I stayed for 4 nights and I found the same menus everyday, which was totally fine with me. I personally wish I could have more options though specially the Western and Chienese stations because it was not that comfortable for me having the Indonesian cuisine - it's just my personal preference and unfamiliarity. The staffs from guest relation, housekeeping, and the breakfast venue were very well-trained, good mannered, and very friendly. I'll surely look forward to stay here in my next visit to Jakarta. Highly recommend for this hotel.

I booked 1 night with an Executive Suite, and unfortunately I received a room with a bad view, over some houses, even if in the picture they advertise a city view. They did not even tell me when I checked in. I had to go to the room to find out. I find it embarrasing that Four Seasons, a high end hotel chain, do these kind of things. They offered me an ”upgrade”, basically for the same type of room, but with a city view for extra cost. Finally I received a call from them, not to solve my problem, but to tell me that i am lucky that I stay in a renovated room. Simply embarassing. I did try some food, but was below my expectations. Quesadilla with no cheese. A mix of chicken meat and some kind of things. Below my expectations and for this price, believe me you have plenty of better options in Jakarta.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The service was good, the hotel was clean, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There are just a few things that could be improved. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes, both inside and outside the room, so it would be helpful if the hotel could provide mosquito repellent or another effective way to reduce mosquitoes. The bathroom door was also sometimes difficult to open and should be checked. In addition, the stepping stones leading to the swimming pool would be safer if they were made more even and level, especially for elderly guests and children, as uneven stones may cause people to trip or get their feet caught. Overall, everything else was good and we enjoyed our stay.

Came to Jakarta to see a concert. This package included three meals a day. (The Ritz's breakfast buffet on the first floor is delicious, and the other two meals are essentially executive lounge offerings. While there aren't as many options as the buffet, everything is incredibly tasty – the steak, desserts, beef brisket clear soup, and teppanyaki were all so good! 3 days, 2 nights, 6 meals, I gained 4 pounds, haha! 😂) Even though the hotel is a bit older, it's still the Ritz. It maintains its usual luxurious style (carpets, chandeliers, etc.) and provides consistently excellent service. Every single staff member I encountered was professional, well-mannered, and even engaged in a bit of small talk.

Everything was basically on the floor. Really hate the shower curtain. The lighting in the room was too dark. The room and toilet were not very clean. Found hair here and there. Bathroom has mold and at the shower curtain too. Breakfast buffet was just ok. But the cafe is nice and comfy. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The location is great because its near to Gambir Station.

Bathroom has mold and at the shower curtain too. Breakfast buffet was just ok. But the cafe is nice and comfy. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The location is great because its near to Gambir Station.

We stayed for two days this time. The air conditioning in the room on the first day did not work. It was very hot. We could not extend the room on the second day. The price on the Internet was doubled. I had no choice but to change the place.

Stayed 7 nights solo in September 2026. The front desk handled my 1:00 AM check-in smoothly. There's a convenience store and a hypermarket within walking distance, so shopping during my stay was easy. The location also makes it easy to get around by Grab. One tip: the room was sometimes cleaned even when I hadn't requested it, so if you don't need cleaning, hang the door sign or let the front desk know.

Enjoy with the place and environment area near with SAKINAH MALL. Food area just walking around and nearby hotel with cafe. Will come to repeat again in Jakarta. Around there got mcd / nusantara restaurant and many more. I having night coffee at starbuck.

Everything was good especially breakfast. Delicious. But cleanness is so so. Got lift but the day we stay, the lift is broken. So need to use stair. For business trip, recommended. For staycation not. The location was so strategic. Near to Thamrin City Mall & Tanah Abang. So for me, its ok if want to stay here. Thank you.

Sbnrnya hotel ini murah, sarapannya enak, pelayan ramah dan baik cuma kebersihan kurang, km masuk kamar ad handuk basah bekas dipakai tergantung diblkng pintu kmr mandi, lantai kmar sngt berdebu, km dikamar 217 pintu nya renggang jd mlm mlm tamu di depan daerah kmar kami pada merokok ntah gimana mreka posisinya yg jelas asap rokok menyengat masuk kekamar kami, sy alergi terhadap asap apalagi asap rokok, dan sy jg bawa anak 2, satunya anak kecil jg usia 2 thn lbh,mana anak dlm keadaan flu, jd km tidur dgn bau asap rokok, sdh saya sumpal sela sela pintu yg renggang dgn tisu tp masih juga blm mengatasi masalah alias msh bau asap rokok menyengat, kemudian stiap sarapan diruang sarapan bnyk bapak bapak yg merokok jg pdahl itu ruang makan loh, dan ruangan tertutup rapat krna ruangn ber AC, bayangin saja gimana makan sngt trganggu, ad anak kecil, keluar dr ruang mkn sluruh pakaian bau rokok smua, kemudian duduk diloby jg ada lagi orang merokok, utk kedepannya agar diperbaiki lagi, lbh baik buat ruangan merokok trsendiri, dikamar jg hrsny ad kamar yg bebas asap rokok ad yg khusus asap rokok.
