I was very satisfied with this hotel. Its location near Kaohsiung's bustling Formosa Boulevard MRT station is excellent, with plenty of shops and businesses nearby, plus a large grocery store just across the street. The hotel's service truly felt five-star. While there isn't a grand lobby, the practical amenities, like the outdoor swimming pool, were fantastic. The breakfast was also great, and they even had ice cream!

The current insulation between rooms allows for notable auditory bleed, which may detract from the experience of light sleepers. I really loved this hotel! The location is super convenient and I had a really comfortable two-night stay. The room, though small, had everything I needed. The bed was great, and the toilet had a bidet which was a nice touch. The bathroom lighting was also very bright! My only minor issues were that the room felt a little dusty and the dryer needed to run twice to fully dry clothes. Other than that, everything was excellent! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kaohsiung!

We watched the fireworks at the stroke of midnight from the Bar with great music, beautiful view and lovely guests! It was a fantastic end to 2025 and the memories will stay in us forever! Thank you Hotel Indigo Kaoshiung for the wonderful and memorable stay. Everything from the hotel staff to the room amenities were top notch! We will certainly recommend your hotel and will definitely stay here when we visit Kaoshiung again.

Room was very clean although you can tell it is an old establishment. The room is clean and the furniture is maintained at optimal conditions! At first our room smelled bad, but with a diffuser and dehumidifier, it improved over the next few days. My friend and I would prefer if the pillows were firmer, we requested for additional pillows which the hotel gladly acceded throughout our stay. The breakfast selection was impressive with a wide variety of selection! The subway station is about 7 min walk away. Surrounding areas offer a great variety of food day and night. Convenient stores such as 711 and family Mart are within 1-2 min walk away.

We got a connecting room that catered to our needs. The hotel is in a strategic location and is near an MRT station. The downside of this hotel is that the air-conditioning temperature is preset and cannot be adjusted. We asked the receptionist to lower it, but the issue was not resolved in one of the rooms and it still felt warm. We went back to the receptionist the next day to request another adjustment. They informed us that the controller was faulty and provided us with a fan instead. At least they made an effort to help. Despite this hiccup, we would still recommend this hotel.

Takikg train and met at that Kaoshioung train station is so convenient. just across the hotel, try the goose rice - excellent taste. I stayed three nights in this hotel. Recommended.

The cleanliness was acceptable, but the carpet looked a bit old and seemed to only get basic cleaning without proper maintenance. I checked in after 10 PM, so there was only one staff member at the front desk. There was a difficult guest in front of me, who also booked through ***********, complaining that the hotel didn't clearly state that her room had no windows and was trying to demand a room change. However, the hotel was fully booked, so her request couldn't be met. I booked through Trip.com and clearly saw the 'no window' disclaimer, so I found her complaints a bit unreasonable and felt impatient while waiting, as she was holding up the line for everyone else. Although they did prioritize us afterward, I still feel like they could use one more staff member during that time. Overall, at least the cleanliness was decent, providing a comfortable environment to rest. It's just the carpet that could use some maintenance – it's a bit... old, and I don't think it's been professionally cleaned. That's something that needs improvement.

The staff were polite, but they lacked empathy towards guests, which is a shame as it really takes away from the warm hospitality Southern Taiwan is known for. A special thanks to the gentleman with glasses who helped us switch to a king-sized bed – he's the only one truly deserving of praise! 👍 Both the washing machine and dryer are coin-operated; you can get tokens at the front desk, where they also sell laundry powder. It's best to bring your own travel-sized detergent and toiletries as drinking water isn't provided. There were quite a few tour groups, mostly from Europe and America.

Walking distance to Liuhe Night Market for all the yummy foods! Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Kaohsiung! The city was lit up so beautiful for the TWICE concerts! Love Kaohsiung!

Stayed at Z Zhongshan Kaohsiung recently and had a very good experience overall. The hotel location is very convenient, just a short walking distance to the train station and easy to travel around Kaohsiung. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I especially liked the bathroom design with separate dry and wet areas. The bathtub was very clean as well, which made it nice for a relaxing soak after a long day outside. The shower gel and shampoo provided were good quality and comfortable to use. The bed was soft and comfortable, allowing for a good rest during the stay. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of selections available, and the menu changed every day, so it did not feel repetitive even after staying for a few days. The restaurant also has a very nice city view of Kaohsiung, making the breakfast experience more enjoyable in the morning. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. The hotel has a nice breakfast buffet with many western and Asian options and the staff are very nice. Rooftop is beautiful at night for a drink. Walking distance to Liuhe Night Market for all the yummy foods! Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Kaohsiung! The city was lit up so beautiful for the TWICE concerts! Love Kaohsiung!

Overall, the hotel is decent and comfortable for a stay. My room was clean and spacious. The hotel is eco-friendly, so single-use personal care items like toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided; they are available at the counter for 20 NTD if needed. Shower foam and shampoo are provided in the bathroom. There are also no bottled water amenities, but you can boil your own water in the room. One feature I really appreciated was the laundry room. As someone who likes to wash clothes while travelling, this was a big plus. It isn’t free (50 NTD for washing and another 50 NTD for drying), but I find the pricing reasonable. The hotel also offers free biscuits and drinks during the day at Level 16, which guests are welcome to enjoy. The location is convenient, within walking distance to a FamilyMart and the Cianjin MRT station. What I didn’t particularly like, although I understand the eco-friendly concept, was that some basic hotel service felt lacking. Late at night, I called the front desk to request paper and a pen, and was told I had to go down to collect it myself. Personally, after showering and settling in for the night, I didn’t expect to have to go downstairs for such a small request, and it was mildly frustrating, so I chose not to collect it and only asked again the following day. That said, I’m not sure if this was due to a particular staff member. My interactions with other front desk staff were generally positive, they were helpful with directions and assisted me with booking a taxi in advance. Overall, a comfortable stay with good facilities, though service consistency could be improved slightly.

The location is great, about a 7-minute walk from Cianjin MRT station. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. The first room we were assigned was quite noisy, and we had to contact the front desk twice to change rooms before we found one we were happy with. The staff were very accommodating and helped us change rooms each time. Having a coin-operated laundry room was also very convenient!

I checked in after 10 PM, so there was only one staff member at the front desk. There was a difficult guest in front of me, who also booked through ***********, complaining that the hotel didn't clearly state that her room had no windows and was trying to demand a room change. However, the hotel was fully booked, so her request couldn't be met. I booked through Trip.com and clearly saw the 'no window' disclaimer, so I found her complaints a bit unreasonable and felt impatient while waiting, as she was holding up the line for everyone else. Although they did prioritize us afterward, I still feel like they could use one more staff member during that time. Overall, at least the cleanliness was decent, providing a comfortable environment to rest. It's just the carpet that could use some maintenance – it's a bit... old, and I don't think it's been professionally cleaned. That's something that needs improvement.
