The hotel's food and beverages are fantastic (pictured), the breakfast is very rich, and the Chinese buffet is also the same (the RMB is close to two hundred). The service was very considerate. One night before check-out, the front desk called the room to get information about the flight. When I knew that it was a flight at 5 pm, I immediately indicated that I could extend the check-out time to half past two. Every time I go out, the staff of the Concierge will use the uber to call the car, and I will not bother. The room cleaning was also very careful. Next time, I will choose to live. The downside is that the market on both sides of the door is too embarrassing, and I can't go out for a walk at night, but the hotel is soundproof, and entering the iron gate is another quiet world. Also, the toilet flushes and needs strength. In addition, perfect.SOLD OUT

Five star quality room. Just be careful on the street as a fast and furious car chasing its own tail pipe occurred as I was advising a very strange uber driver. Honestly speaking, the hotel was great. The location was a bit far from the airport, BUT it is located at one of the cleanest places in Kolkata, making it a huge plus. Now for the details:
Room: 5/5. The decoration, the ambiance, the wall art.
Lobby and other places: 5/5. Absolutely loved the design and hotel architecture.
Bathroom: 3.5/5. Honestly, it is a basic bathroom, but I expected more from a 5 star hotel, even on the cheaper rooms. There was no bathtub, which I feel is fairly common everywhere I’ve stayed in.
ONE PROBLEM: A major issue I have faced was after turning on the water. It had a smell, which I am guessing is from the river beside it. I feel like the Hotel should add a water filter to avoid this problem, because the smell doesn’t go away until the water is turned on for at least 5-10minutes. If I wasn’t South Asian, I probably couldn’t have taken the smell as easily as I did. I would put this in High Priority to fix for attracting many more customers.
Bar and Food: 4/5. Good collection, great taste but very expensive.
Lastly, a shoutout to Al Jabbar and Al Sahid from the Housecleaning service, they were extremely polite, fast, very thorough with their cleaning and very well mannered. Absolutely a delight to talk to and learn about the local areas.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very rare to find such good hotels, with some minor flaws.From€30

I arrived late at night and had the wrong date, so there was no reservation for the day I arrived.

I have used this Hotel on a couple of occasions. It is a ”transit” hotel, not one I would expect to use for more than one night.
Staff are very good, friendly and helpful. Food at Breakfast is very good, I have not dined in the evening but there is a restaurant. There is a bar area though most guests seem to stay in there rooms. Pleasant outdoor sitting areas though a lot of building work was being done in November 2025
It may look close enough to walk to the airport but it is NOT. Take a taxi, staff helped me obtain an UBER cab at Rs/110From€35

Hi, I had a wonderful stay at AIRPORT CITY HOTEL, Kolkata. The ambience was great, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, with an exceptionally spotless bathroom. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring all our requests were met promptly. The food was delicious as well. Overall, a great experience! I would rate it 5/5. I stayed at this hotel with my friends and booked a separate room for myself. The hotel kindly arranged a room for me on the sixth floor with an amazing view of the city of Kolkata. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and polite, especially the gentleman with glasses at the check-in counter, who always fulfilled my requests and addressed any complaints promptly. They even allowed us a late check-out because our flight was delayed, which I truly appreciated. My room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The amenities provided were of high quality. The housekeeping staff were polite and clearly took pride in their work. The security staff at the main entrance were also very courteous and always ready to help — whether it was providing small change for delivery drivers or Uber payments. Special thanks to Raghunath, one of the security team, who helped us load over 60 kilograms of luggage into our Uber when we were heading to the airport. Overall, my experience was exceptional. The kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness of the staff truly stood out. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues visiting Kolkata.

The hotel provided a good base to explore Kolkata. Away from the chaotic old city, and close enough to take Uber to get around. Loved the breakfast, especially being able to have idli, cafe and uppuma for breakfast and non spicy Sambar to go with it. It also has enough water supply such that I didn’t need to buy water at all. We walked to the axis mall nearby for grocery shopping and fast food. Since the attractions are scattered across the city anyway, we took uber to town for approximately 330 Rupees per trip. Self laundry was free too. I would definitely come back, especially once the metro nearby has completed. The only negative is the loud music coming from Novotel next door when there are weddings and parties. Perfect otherwise.
