The hotel is very nice. Despite the fact that the hotel is old, and, for example, in our room type, the shower and toilet were separate, and the washbasin was in the common room area, all other things compensate for it. The hotel is clean. The location is good, 7-10 minutes by car to the central beach, you can use the Grab app or use the free shuttle bus that runs 2 times a day between the hotel and Cenang Mall, which is located in the area of the central public beach. The hotel also has friendly staff. In addition, it is convenient that you can buy all sightseeing tours right at the hotel. We stayed at this property for two nights with my friend's families and four children. Because we had to book separate rooms in a hurry, we didn’t have high expectations and thought the kids might get tired going back and forth between rooms during the trip.
However, thanks to the hotel’s thoughtful suggestion, we were upgraded to a suite. We were truly impressed by how attentive the staff were in recognizing that we were traveling together as one group!
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Manager Asim for creating such an unforgettable memory for our children ☺️
Although the hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the main tourist attractions, we really enjoyed the many wonderful restaurants within walking distance.

Staffs are super friendly.
Bathrooms is clean and they replace towels everyday if it is used.

I wish we stayed a few extra days at the Berjaya. It’s really an enchanting experience to live in a wooden cabin in the forest. The staff is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate guests needs. It’s convenient, beautiful, and super relaxing. I will strongly recommend the Thai restaurant on the water - try to reserve a spot for sunset! The restaurant on the beach also have delicious meals, but unfortunately, the service at that one is very poor. I can happily recommend this resort for families and couples!FromPLN 612

We take room number 612. Their plug not working at 2 points. 1 is near dressing table and another 1 is real room phone table. Their washing face side light not working. Their toilet water wash hose leaking. Firstly we notice didn't provide toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste. After we call up to reception then provided. For room issue we reported ask them to settle by giving when we go out. But didn't settle. Saying maintenance team were checked. But didn't do anything. After we report 2nd time saying want to check in midnight 12.35am. That's was our rest and sleeping time. Next day we waited to repair but no changes. They provide another room to change at 2nd day around 10.50am. But we have settle our stuff all at that room. We decide just leave it another 1 day to stay. We had a fantastic stay at The Westin Langkawi! The staff were warm, friendly, and always so attentive and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort is spotless and beautifully maintained, with comfortable lounge chairs by the pool that are perfect for relaxing. The hotel backs right onto a stunning private beach, offering amazing views across the ocean. We even had some cute monkey visitors around the grounds (they are very friendly too), which made our stay even more memorable! The hotel is a bit further away from the popular tourist places like Pantai Cenang and the north of the island, but there is plenty of taxi service around and at very good rates. During Chinese New Year, Langkawi was packed, and to my surprise, all the hotels on Cenang Beach were fully booked for my desired dates. So, I decided to stay in Kuah Town instead. At least the food there is good, and indeed, none of the restaurants around the hotel disappointed. Now, about this hotel itself: honestly, aside from the pool, everything else was quite a letdown. The towels were black and tattered. The room was quite spacious and even had a balcony, but despite booking a sea-view room, I was given one facing greenery. There were so many mosquitoes – I killed four or five throughout the night. The air conditioning was old and so noisy it made it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was, as always, unappetizing, probably more suited for locals and Indians. On the bright side, the duty-free shop is right across the street, and there are several convenience stores nearby, making it easy to get around.FromPLN 216

The hotel is well-maintained, and the breakfast is consistently good! The fishing trip was a lot of fun, caught plenty of fish. However, I'd recommend booking the mangrove tour elsewhere (the hotel's mangrove tour didn't feature any bats). The beach is very clean, but there aren't many small creatures (like hermit crabs...). I stayed at Dash Hotel last weekend and really enjoyed my stay. The location is great, at the end of Pantai Tengah, just a short drive to Pantai Cenang and surrounded by plenty of eateries (including Orkid Ria!). The food at the hotel was good, and the breakfast with sparkling wine was a lovely touch. The view, especially during sunset was super beautiful. The sea view is fantastic, and the sunsets are breathtaking. During breakfast, I even saw a monitor lizard swimming by the shore.
Downstairs, there are several restaurants, bars, and a small supermarket. Plus, being right next to the yacht marina, almost all island-hopping tours depart from here. It's essentially the commercial and entertainment hub of this area (including the Westin and St. Regis hotels).
Due to the sliding door design, the insulation and soundproofing aren't the best. Also, little ants would explore for food on the desk, so you can't leave food out too casually. The room layout was very well designed and practical. They even had a capsule coffee machine, which was a nice touch. The pool and outdoor areas were beautiful. What I really appreciated was that getting to the beach and pool from the hotel wasn't as far a walk as it often is in China. The breakfast was plentiful, although my Chinese palate wasn't entirely used to some of the offerings. The beach was great for shell-collecting, with lots of shellfish. Exceeded expectations! It's just across the road from Central Beach, which is much less crowded and more comfortable than Cenang. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the beach, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The breakfast spread is fantastic, with a variety of options to suit all tastes, and the juice is particularly good. This place offers incredible value for money, especially compared to the previous resort I stayed at, The Bin Ya Le.FromPLN 479

I brought my whole family to this hotel for a New Year's vacation. The public courtyard has plenty of space for activities, which was great. There are lots of outdoor seating areas and hammocks, and the hot and cold water dispenser was very convenient. The hotel staff were excellent, very patient and polite. The downsides were that there were many ants in the room, the triple room was dark and damp with poor ventilation, and the location is a bit out of the way.FromPLN 81

This is what a five-star hotel should be like! First, let's talk about the exceptional service. From the moment I checked in, I could tell this hotel genuinely cares about its guests. You can even enjoy a complimentary mini-massage during check-in. Since there were three of us, the hotel proactively moved the sofa from the balcony into the bedroom to create a temporary bed for us. Secondly, while the breakfast restaurant is a bit small and the food variety isn't extensive, everything is exquisite. Being able to order and savor unique pancakes and flatbreads, especially the Roti, which is absolutely delicious 😋, was a highlight. And the pool? It's fantastic, long enough for a good swim without a problem! Now for a few things that differed from my expectations: the hotel's size. It's actually not that big, with a long, narrow layout. The private beach has excellent sand, far superior to Tanjung Rhu, but the view isn't as open because it's partially obstructed by Paradise 101 Island.FromPLN 1,460

Rebak Island Resort & Marina, the sole hotel on Langkawi's Rebak Island, offered me an unforgettable vacation. If you're seeking a truly secluded sanctuary to connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle, I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
The island's environment is simply breathtaking! Surrounded by refreshing scenery, there are plenty of trails to explore on foot. What surprised me most was the excellent ecological preservation here. The hotel even offers a guided one-hour nature walk every Sunday at 8:30 AM. Through this, I learned about many unique Malaysian flora and fauna – it was a truly valuable learning experience!
Beyond hiking, we could also cycle. The bay where the hotel is situated is also a significant stop for global sailing, adding a special maritime flair to the entire resort.
What truly warmed my heart during this trip was the hotel's service. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and I sincerely thank them for that! Our package included dinner, and breakfast was a standard buffet with a wide variety of choices. The dinner menu also offered excellent selection, and both the taste and service left us very satisfied.
Even better, despite being on a private island, transportation to and from the mainland was absolutely no issue. There are several complimentary shuttle boat services daily, making it very convenient.
Of course, even in a perfect experience, there were some things to get used to.
1. **Soundproofing in wooden villas:** The hotel rooms are older-style wooden villas, usually two stories. If you stay on the ground floor, you will indeed hear the footsteps of guests upstairs quite clearly.
2. **Monkey neighbors:** Because the island's ecosystem is so thriving, we had quite a few monkey neighbors! Everyone needs to be extra careful and remember not to leave your room door open, otherwise, they might come in and ”steal” your food.
**Summary:**
Putting aside the soundproofing of the older villas and the ”mischief” of the little monkeys, Rebak Island Resort & Marina earned my highest praise for its unparalleled natural environment, rich ecological activities, and thoughtful, attentive service. I booked this hotel last Christmas, a bit last-minute. After comparing options, Ctrip offered a better price. A taxi from the airport cost about 10RM. Mercure seems relatively new and the environment felt good. Check-in was smooth, no issues with communication. The deposit was 200RM, and we received two welcome drink vouchers. Because I booked late and it was a standard room, we ended up on the ground floor in a corner. The window was practically useless; opening the curtains meant facing the elevator, so we kept them closed. Room facilities were fine, aside from some mosquitoes. The 3M filtered drinking water was a nice touch and reassuring. The room felt a bit empty, without a proper desk to use a laptop (maybe everyone here is on vacation!). The minibar was complimentary once, and the contents were good. The pool and gym were decent, but housekeeping was a bit inconsistent – sometimes towels were replaced, sometimes not, always missing something. On Christmas Eve, they organized a paid buffet dinner (staff went room-to-room asking if we'd like to join). I felt it wasn't good value for money, so I skipped it. Overall, for my Christmas trip to Langkawi, the hotel booking was pretty good. It's close to Cenang Beach, with a small mall right in front, so food wasn't an issue. The duty-free alcohol shop on the second floor was excellent; I found the cheapest alcohol in Malaysia there. Plus, the resort vibe was amazing. Finally, on Christmas Eve, we got KFC takeaway, put the TV on ambient mode, and celebrated the holiday in the hotel – the atmosphere was fantastic, and I was very happy.FromPLN 437

The family room was spacious, and the air conditioning worked great. Housekeeping cleaned daily and replenished our water. The hotel has a beautiful environment, with tropical flowers, fruit trees, and other plants everywhere. We saw small animals like squirrels, monkeys, birds, and geck moving around. The hotel located at a very strategic location. The room is huge and the toilet is also very spacious. Down part is only the AC is placed right on the bed and making it too cold. Requested for a birthday deco and they did it very well. Parking is based on first come first serve by the road side. Had bar and massage together with the hotel. The room is beautiful, and the surrounding environment is first-class, but people who have poor sleep quality and love to stay up late may not be suitable for living in a wooden house. You can clearly hear the sounds of birds and insects hovering everywhere. The location of the hotel is relatively hidden, surrounded by rice fields and woods, and has an excellent viewing location and orientation at sunset. It is highly recommended if you want to escape from the world for a while.
The cabin I chose is very characteristic of the local houses in Langkawi. There are many windows and stained glass around the house. The building also considers the usage habits of the people in the house. Walking barefoot in the house has a homely atmosphere and makes people feel very happy. .
The hotel room service is very dedicated and warm, but air-conditioning equipment is not provided during the May Day period. If you want to use it, you need to buy it, RM25/day. At the same time, toothbrushes are not provided, so you need to prepare them yourself. The cabin I booked has an induction cooker, a bread machine and matching tableware equipment. You can cook by yourself, or you can go to the bar next to the swimming pool for self-service BBQ. Due to the lack of staff in the hotel, DIY is recommended for all matters, and breakfast service is not provided.

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! The pool is huge and very clean — I swam for almost 3 hours each day during my 2-night stay 🤭.
My pool access room was super comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. I also loved that there’s a bathtub!
A few small suggestions for improvement:
1. It would be great to have street lights at the junction leading to the resort.
2. Adding a clear sign at the entrance would help, especially at night or during rainy weather.
3. Breakfast was okay overall. The English-style options were good, but the local dishes like fried kuey teow, fried vermicelli, and nasi lemak could use a bit more flavour.

1. The hotel service has five-star quality. The staff are attentive and have natural smiles. They will come to the room terrace at six o'clock every day to help you light mosquito coils. There are welcome fruits. 
2. The facilities are only of three-star quality. This hotel has been open for 12 years and the facilities are a bit outdated. Bath towels are rather old.

I booked a 2-night stay with my Mrs in one of the villas connected to the shared pool, and our experience started off on a great note. We were picked up from the airport in a very comfortable Toyota Alphard arranged by the resort. Our driver and resort staff, Khai, was incredibly friendly—he patiently answered all my questions and gave us fantastic food recommendations since it was my first time in LGK.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Daniel at the lobby. He served us beautifully presented lemon peach teas as a welcome drink and brought us through the entire check-in process.
While waiting for our villa to be ready, we had lunch at the resort’s only restaurant. Unfortunately, this was the only part of the stay that fell short—the pizza crust was undercooked, a bit greasy, and tasted store-bought, which was quite disappointing.
Thankfully, things picked up again after that. Khai later escorted us to our villa, and we were relieved that our balcony didn’t directly face the restaurant. However, I do feel the pool and villa balconies could be designed to offer more privacy so diners aren’t looking out over the area.
Overall, the stay was truly pleasant. I loved that the resort is away from the busy beach, giving us a peaceful and quiet environment. All the staff were warm and friendly.
A few standout perks include:
1. Complimentary rides to and from the property (subject to booking and availability)
2. Free minibar, replenished daily—including coffee capsules
3. Complimentary Netflix and YouTube accounts on the TV (which both my wife and I really love)
4. A pretty decent in-room breakfast experience. (they definitely do breakfast better than lunch, in my opinion)
I also indulged in a 90-minute massage, which started with herbal tea, grapes, and a carrot stick during a herbal foot bath, followed by a foot massage and a one-hour full-body aromatherapy massage. My masseuse, Yaya, was incredibly patient and attentive, constantly checking on the pressure and even gifting me a small goodie bag at the end.
All in all, I wouldn’t mind returning—and I’m even considering trying one of their larger 3-room villas next time. I highly recommend this resort for big families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.FromPLN 616

Villas tend to offer larger spaces, ideal for family groups or friends travelling together. Outdoor spaces are also larger and more private. Hotel rooms tend to be more compact and may be suitable for single travellers or couples.

A very satisfying experience, worth recommending and sharing with everyone! This is a relatively hidden B&B hotel, which is small but exquisite. There are very primitive villas and modern suites. The breakfast is particularly rich. The owner Won and his staff are very enthusiastic and friendly, making people feel the warm and homely feeling from the heart.
