Our reserved twin room wasn't available, but they kindly added a complimentary single bed for us. The room was quite spacious and nice, a quality certainly reflected in its price. The on-site water park is a bit dated but still quite clean. Best of all, access is completely free, which our kids absolutely loved, spending every day happily playing there. The sea just outside the hotel is also beautiful. While there isn't much of a sandy beach and we didn't go snorkeling, we could still spot plenty of fish right from the shore. Breakfast was decent, though the lack of variety was noticeable – we had the exact same meal every morning during our four-day stay. Booking through Ctrip allowed us a late checkout at 2 PM, which was a nice bonus. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Savoy. Usage of the beach/pool is included with the rooms. Dinner was fantastic. I had a problem with the room card and the elevator. Sometimes it would not read and missed my floor.
The staff was hard working especially during the breakfast buffet because it was so crowded may guests had to wait for tables. It was Father's Day and the last weekend before school started.

First of all i would like to say thank you to all the staff especially to Francis the manager at the Bar and the receptionist girl name Ruth she is very pleasant i really appreciate the helpfulness, and also the treatment they gave us it was a delightful experienced i worked in a service industry too and this is really important to have those excellent service in order to sustain the business, whoever is the owner of this hotel please do appreciate the hard-work of Francis the manager at the bar and Ruth im really glad of what he did for us during our stay, the staff are well trained, and overall the room is huge, and clean the amenities are great:)

Ordered Calamari appetiser. Has been really good in the past. Large portion and fresh. Now, tiny portion and obviously prepackaged frozen. Not edible rubber.

During our check-in, the staff welcomed us and helped with our luggage. My partner and I were served with refreshing juice while checking in and shown to our rooms. Very good service. The entire resort was spacious and the amenities were well-maintained. The gym was very kind and a great choice putting it next to the spa, very relaxing ambience. The hotel itself is great, and our family room was spacious and comfortable. The dining experience was excellent, with a well-balanced buffet breakfast and quick poolside service via a convenient QR code system.
However, the check-in process was a bit drawn-out. After I thought I had completed everything, I was called by phone back to pay a deposit. They mentioned they would contact me when the room was ready, but I never received a call. I ended up going back later on my own, and while the staff did apologize, it was still an inconvenience.
My only other gripe is the lack of valet parking, which I would expect at a hotel of this standard. Instead, guests have to walk roughly 250 meters each way to the car park, which can be uncomfortable in the heat.

We just returned home from Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. It was our first time in Cebu. It was a short but great trip.
The highlights:
Accommodations: We chose Crimson because we frequent high-rise hotels when traveling and decided this time we wanted a villa/bungalow type of room. No hallways and no elevators. Crimson checked those boxes. They also accommodated our requests for a king bed and first floor room.
Activities and amenities: Our daughter loved Crimzone and the children’s pool. It was hard to get her to leave. The Saturday foam party was fun and the pool staff were engaging. My wife and I both availed the spa and wow, we can see why they won an award for Best Value in Asia. The price was affordable while the quality of service was top-notch.
Food: The buffet breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. My favorite item was the fruit and veggie smoothies. Who knew bakchoy and mango blend well together? But it was the attentive staff that really made breakfast a great experience. We tried the 24-hour room service and I swear the chicken club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in my entire life 5/5!
The lowlights:
Here are some reasons why we are not giving Crimson an excellent review.
1. Overpriced/low quality food in Saffron during ala carte dinner. Our first night we arrived in the evening and were hungry. For two people (our daughter is a toddler) we paid over 5000php for an appetizer, 3 entrees, one beer and one bottle of water. Honestly, the price would be ok for this amount of food if the quality was better. I would suggest Aka or Enye for higher quality food although we didn’t try either. Saffron was empty that night and we found out why.
2. Distance to places/sites. Crimson is quite far for shopping or eating at other restaurants. We hired a private car for 3 hours and was only able to visit two sites and one pasalubong store. Luckily it was only moderate traffic on that Saturday. 2500php for a sedan for 3 hours was reasonable.
3. The gift shop is waaaay overpriced. 950php for a small tube of sunblock seemed very high even at a resort. We also wanted some souvenirs, but there wasn’t much variety at all.
4. Our room needed some TLC. The paint in the nice tub was chipping, the caulking in the showers could use a refresh and there was a huge ipis (roach) in the closet. Luckily we spent most of the time outside the room.
5. No floaties or life vests for toddlers to use, even for rental. Despite having almost everything else, this would have been a nice touch.
6. We came to Cebu for mangoes and lechon, but Crimson didn’t offer these items and again, because of distance, it would have been nice to have some at the hotel.
The bottom line:
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others, however we would give them our full review so they are aware of the pros and cons.

Good size hotel with affordable price. We only stayed for a night and there is an included airport transfer service. On arrival to the hotel, staff are pleasant and accommodating. It has a good size room with clean amenities. The toilets are clean and the furnishing are of good quality. Good size bed and the mattress is comfortable. There is a convenience store in front of the hotel and a coffee shop. There are also nearby fast-food chain. Although it was a night stay, the experience is great. I would stay there again. This is our second time spending our staycation. What I loved about this place are the trees, pool and beach. The architectural landscape is so relaxing. There are lots of pools. The views are instagrammable everywhere. You can go outside anytime you want without worries of the UV sun rays because of the shades from trees. There are lots of staffs served our needs including the interns and they did it excellently and politely.
I used to surprised my husband with a birthday cake in our breakfast buffet and the staffs accommodated my request to sing a ”Happy birthday” song for him with a cake. To my gratefulness, we just took a little slice of a cake and gave the rest to the staffs. I went to many resorts in the Philippines and this is one of my favorite. It is a new open hotel, so there is no information and I leave a review. Once the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. But the location is 2-4 of the usual rate even if you call a taxi If you don't pay the ship, the call taxi will not come to the hotel. We stayed at Crown Regency Suites during Typhoon Tino as a temporary shelter and checked in at almost 3PM in Villa #23. Unfortunately, we weren’t very happy with the accommodation’s cleanliness. The place was quite dusty—from the living room to the bedrooms—and we ended up sneezing several times due to the dust. It seemed like the villa hadn’t been properly cleaned or prepared before our arrival, and it also looked like it hadn’t been occupied for quite some time.
We also had issues with the door lock, as our keycard couldn’t open it. The staff, however, responded quickly and changed the lock for us, which we appreciated. The living room TV wasn’t working at first, but they replaced it right away. There were also some water droplets in the master bedroom, which we understood considering the strong winds brought by the typhoon.
The shower on the second floor wasn’t working, and the kitchen, living room, and service area floors (up to the second floor) were all noticeably dusty. Curtains were dirty as it has a lot of visible stains.
Despite these issues, the staff were accommodating and polite throughout our stay. We requested a late checkout and they kindly allowed us until 1PM which supposedly have a late check out fee of 3k.
Overall, we appreciated the staff’s assistance and understanding during the typhoon, but the villa’s cleanliness really needs improvement.FromMXN383

We stayed on the 9th floor of CSuites for 3 nights and although it had problems we would stay here again just because of the location and pool.
Pros: The swimming pool was amazing. It is extremely large and has two baby pools. There were many places to sit and relax in the Sun, but you could also find shade if you prefer.
The location was next to many shops and restaurants. And it is located about a 10 minute walk from a private beach. However, CSuites quests have to pay 300 pecks to enter.
Cons: The room was old and dated. The bathroom had a bad smell and the shower head did not work well. The pressure was low. Also, the temperature was inconsistent. Our stove did not work so we had to request to have it fixed. Unfortunately, only one channel was available on the TV (MMA).FromMXN653

I’m beyond amazed. The place are relaxing views, magnificent room views, comfortable dining and beautifully romantic area. The beach are clean and clear like crystal twinkling by the sun rays. Unfortunately, Got stung by a jellyfish and the staffs acted and ask about my wellbeing and so fast to close the beach and did the best thing action to avoid for other guests to get stung and do the protocol by putting red flag as warning sign and inform the other guest about the incident. The location was literally 5 mins away from the airport and they had free shuttle service to the airport every hour for 24hrs. That's the best part about this hotel. Food was okay. Our room lock wouldn't latch so we just had the double lock. The bathroom door is not super sealed as it was a glass push door so they'd hear all your business in the toilet. Room was clean though. I and my husband decided to have a short 1 day break away from the busy city life of Cebu and tried Palmbeach. We found it very old resort yet it offered playhouse for kids and game room for adult. There was a small pool jacuzzi-size with 2feet as its height to which not harder to watch kids went swimming. The beach flooring was slimy as there were alot of greens thus not too enticing to swim. We were set to stay at the 4th floor to which my husband commented like a hospital in the hallway 😅 There was a connecting door to another room were the guests were so loud and made us not safe. I recently stayed at the Eloisa Royal Suites Hotel for two nights. Overall, the experience was okay but nothing particularly special. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were polite, although not overly friendly. My room was clean and had the basic amenities like a TV, air conditioning, and a small coffee maker. However, the furniture looked a bit dated and the mattress was too firm for my liking.
One major downside was the noise. The hotel is located right next to a busy road, and the sound of vehicles passing by — especially at night — was really annoying and made it hard to sleep. The windows didn’t seem to block out much of the noise, which was disappointing.

We loved our stay at Belmont. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was great and food choices were varied each day. We also enjoyed the amenities especially the gym. We were given a spacious room, and everything we needed were in there — room slippers, bath robe, toiletries, etc.
Cons: The drainage in the bathroom was a bit slow, so the shower area was kinda flooded when we take a shower and it also took some time for the water in the sink to drain. I also gave a four star for the amenities because we were expecting more from the beach and we had to take the shuttle to get there.

The sheets and towels themselves weren't clean. There were a lot of stains, and there seemed to be a banquet hall right next to the accommodation, but a lot of events were held. If they overlap, it might be noisy. Breakfast was just mediocre and the menu was all the same!! There was a choice, but even if I chose it, it seemed like it just came out prepared. It's better not to expect it.

However, the check-in process was a bit drawn-out. After I thought I had completed everything, I was called by phone back to pay a deposit. They mentioned they would contact me when the room was ready, but I never received a call. I ended up going back later on my own, and while the staff did apologize, it was still an inconvenience.
My only other gripe is the lack of valet parking, which I would expect at a hotel of this standard. Instead, guests have to walk roughly 250 meters each way to the car park, which can be uncomfortable in the heat.
Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups

The room was quite spacious and nice, a quality certainly reflected in its price. The on-site water park is a bit dated but still quite clean. Best of all, access is completely free, which our kids absolutely loved, spending every day happily playing there. The sea just outside the hotel is also beautiful. While there isn't much of a sandy beach and we didn't go snorkeling, we could still spot plenty of fish right from the shore. Breakfast was decent, though the lack of variety was noticeable – we had the exact same meal every morning during our four-day stay. Booking through Ctrip allowed us a late checkout at 2 PM, which was a nice bonus. The hotel also features a children's play area, making it perfectly suited for families with young children!

|3.85km from city centerWe just returned home from Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. It was our first time in Cebu. It was a short but great trip.
The highlights:
Accommodations: We chose Crimson because we frequent high-rise hotels when traveling and decided this time we wanted a villa/bungalow type of room. No hallways and no elevators. Crimson checked those boxes. They also accommodated our requests for a king bed and first floor room.
Activities and amenities: Our daughter loved Crimzone and the children’s pool. It was hard to get her to leave. The Saturday foam party was fun and the pool staff were engaging. My wife and I both availed the spa and wow, we can see why they won an award for Best Value in Asia. The price was affordable while the quality of service was top-notch.
Food: The buffet breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. My favorite item was the fruit and veggie smoothies. Who knew bakchoy and mango blend well together? But it was the attentive staff that really made breakfast a great experience. We tried the 24-hour room service and I swear the chicken club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in my entire life 5/5!
The lowlights:
Here are some reasons why we are not giving Crimson an excellent review.
1. Overpriced/low quality food in Saffron during ala carte dinner. Our first night we arrived in the evening and were hungry. For two people (our daughter is a toddler) we paid over 5000php for an appetizer, 3 entrees, one beer and one bottle of water. Honestly, the price would be ok for this amount of food if the quality was better. I would suggest Aka or Enye for higher quality food although we didn’t try either. Saffron was empty that night and we found out why.
2. Distance to places/sites. Crimson is quite far for shopping or eating at other restaurants. We hired a private car for 3 hours and was only able to visit two sites and one pasalubong store. Luckily it was only moderate traffic on that Saturday. 2500php for a sedan for 3 hours was reasonable.
3. The gift shop is waaaay overpriced. 950php for a small tube of sunblock seemed very high even at a resort. We also wanted some souvenirs, but there wasn’t much variety at all.
4. Our room needed some TLC. The paint in the nice tub was chipping, the caulking in the showers could use a refresh and there was a huge ipis (roach) in the closet. Luckily we spent most of the time outside the room.
5. No floaties or life vests for toddlers to use, even for rental. Despite having almost everything else, this would have been a nice touch.
6. We came to Cebu for mangoes and lechon, but Crimson didn’t offer these items and again, because of distance, it would have been nice to have some at the hotel.
The bottom line:
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others, however we would give them our full review so they are aware of the pros and cons.
