We stayed on Christmas Eve. The hotel is located in the outskirts of Strasbourg. There are two free parking lots nearby. It is near to Tramway. It is a P + R. , 7 euros can take 24 people / hour for 3 people, which is very cost-effective. The hotel can help you clean the room for free every day, and the kitchen supplies can also be used. If you live in Lille before, you need to pay 17 euros a day.

Close to everything, this hotel has a good location! The tram (line D) is at a couple meter from the hotel, but as I slept on the street-side I didn't hear anything of it. Very good noise-dampening windows (unless you leave them open of course). I had a very nice room, clean and functional. A spacious bathroom which was also clean. The breakfast is basic Continental but enough. At the reception people are friendly and helpful, what more can you want?

No service at all. The reception is only available till 7 pm. So if you arrive 30 min later there is nobody to acomodate you not even by telephone. We booked the hotel exclusively for the underground parking but as there is nobody at the desk you cannot enter the parking either. The streets around the appart hotel al full of cars and there is no spot early in the evening. It is also difficult to locate the entrance of the hotel. We had to ask the neighbors as it is an entry for the apartment complex and another entry around the corner for the hotel. Via de email at 18.59 hr you get a message that they leave a credit-card form key for you in a locker that you have to localise inside of the lobby. An old person will not be able to follow these instructions. We found the key but did not enter the room as we first wanted to get the car parked. But as the hotel parking is only open with a remote control you cannot enter if no one is there. The neighbors are nice and let you in, but Néméa parking is blocked by a barrier and you cannot get in. Inside the garage are warnings not to park elsewhere or you are transpassing. So we got so stressed that we decided to leave and book elsewhere last second. It was 20.30 hrs in the meantime and bookings via booking.com did not get through. We had to book in situ. All with all a lot of stress. The people from Néméa were not apologetic that nobody answers the phone after 19.00 hrs not even at 19.30 hr, when we called. You cannot arrange for a parking spot only on the arrival day upon arrival. They do not tell you this nor that it costs you 50 euro extra as deposit that you hope to get back. Either ways, Néméa is not willing to reimburse us. We will definitely never book with them again. And if you come by car, unless you can arrive prior to 18 hr (so that you can be sure you can arrange the parking) avoid this place as well. The area is not safe to leave a heavily loaded expensive car on the streets. Safety first! Booking.com censors this review this is why we place it here❗❗❗

This hotel has relatively small, compact rooms arranged in a modern style with a unique bathroom-shower combination. The location is great with many fun restaurants nearby and the old part of town a 20 minute walk away. Despite the relatively cramped room, the bed was super comfortable and there was a small desk for working. Breakfast is extra but is worth it as it provides a healthy array of breakfast items (although very limited hot items). There is an athletic facility but I did not have time to try it. Staff were friendly although a bit disorganized (some seemed to be relatively new to their job).

We arrived at the hotel midday on the 28th of December, checked in a bit late (I was told the room was not ready). Was not annoyed at all though, the receptionists were really friendly and chatty. They helped us through with anything we asked for, cannot complain about anything. The room was a bit "isolated" from the other rooms which was a nice bonus! Closed garage just next to the hotel for a reasonable price was also a bonus. If there would be something for me to suggest that could get improved, that would be the wifi signal in the room. I guess that was due to the fact that it was a bit isolated, perhaps an extra access point would make the job perfect. Still, I browsed the internet just fine, had to move a bit from the bed to the desk. Location-wise, it's only 15' walk from the historical town center and a 10' minute walk from a mall. Thank you all over there, looking forward to seeing you again if I show up again soon!

The wifi was basically non-existent though, so it might be a problem for business travellers. Appreciate that the staff tried to help but it wasn’t fixed. Superb housecleaning team as well. We had a nice stay over at hotel Beaucour. The duplex room was nicely arranged and the staff was kind enough to provide extra bed linen. Beautiful hotel, with great wine bar conveniently located at the brink of the "Grande-Île". 3min walk to Place Kleber, about 10min walk to the cathedral. Lot's of restaurants in the neighborhood. Comprehensive continental breakfast. You're getting a significant discount for parking in the nearby "Indigo Kléber" (located Place de l’Homme de Fer). So first drop your car at the parking lot, present the ticket to the receptionist at the hotel and he will hand out a discounted ticket (roughly 50%). Rooms are split in two catagories: facing the back yard: very quite. Facing the street: very noisy, the whole night long. We've been in luck staying in one of the quite rooms. However our friends got one of the rooms facing the street having a terribly noisy night. And like in a lot of other hotels: no power outlets for your charging devices. You've got to crawl on the floor, pulling out power chords from unneeded stuff to get your gears charged.

Conveniently located across the train station, this hotel was a great base to explore Strasbourg and Colmar during Christmas. Check-in was super quick, and the front desk staff was very attentive and answered any questions we had. COVID-19 protocols were strict, which was very positive. The room was a standard IBIS room, so nothing spectacular to write about, but still served its purpose and didn’t come with any surprises. Check-out was again fast, and walking across the street to get on our train for our next destination was priceless.

I cannot understand how this can be a 3 star hotel. We stayed for 2 nights (14th to 16th Feb 2020) and we ended up in a room with a toilet smaller than 2 sqm with snots on the walls (one even with a hair attached to it as you can see from the picture). The mattress on the bed was 5cm thick (I think they have thicker ones for camping nowadays) and 180cm long. I'm 190cm tall so I had to sleep with my feet outside the bed. The furniture in the rooms is really outdated too and there was no safe in the room. For breakfast, on the first day when we got to the restaurant 90% of the tables were free but still dirty and no-one was cleaning them. Dishes were missing and we had to look for someone to ask for other ones and waited 5 minutes just for that. Overall breakfast was ok. For the parking on the rear-side, nobody was lifting the barrier even after ringing the bell multiple times and my girlfriend always had to go the reception and ask to open the gate. The friendly personnel and the position close to petite France are the only good things worth nothing.

Our family, 2 adults and 2 kids, stayed here for one night on our trip to Strasbourg. The room was plenty big enough for our family. We had a large balcony as well, which was nice! Breakfast was included with the room and we even had it delivered to our room free of charge. The location was good. It was a little ways outside the city, but it is right next to a fantastic park. The Orangery Park was beautiful. We walked around with kids for several hours and had a great time.

First, I got in the room and there was no heat, considering it was December! I called the front desk and they said everything is alright, they made me doubt myself. In the morning, I couldn’t wake up because of the cold, the floor doesn’t even have a carpet, I called again the front desk, and another staff responded saying the truth that the heater in some rooms is not working because of a technical problem and they will resolve it as soon as possible. I left from morning to night and came back and the heating system still wasn’t working, I was extremely pissed off. Imagine outside it was nearly zero degrees, and you needed to get into your pajamas and be warm. I wanted to take a hot bath and the water was extremely cold! I couldn’t handle the situation anymore. I went to the reception, and the women at the front desk was extremely rude, she was looking at me as if I am wrong. I asked to talk to the manager. Imagine the manager wasn’t at the hotel. They had to call her to come. When I met the manager, she was only apologizing. I was extremely astonished. I requested for my room to be moved immediately, at first, she didn’t consider my suggestion, I had to repeat it several times until they took me to another room with the same problem. Later, the one responsible for the heating system started to fix the situation, it took him about two hours. At that time, I was in my room wearing my coats on and the man entering and leaving the room every while to check on the system! They even got me an electric heater (check the below image) This is RIDICULOUS! WHAT A SHAME! I’ve been to many hotels in my life, this is my worst experience. SPECIAL MENTION: in the room, there are three areas, the Bathroom, toilet, and bedroom. Only the area with the bed has a heating system. And there’s a door between it and the other areas, so if you are staying with someone in the room. The heat doesn’t navigate in the whole room. The bathroom and toilet are always cold!! SPECIAL MENTION: The WALLS are not soundproof. At night, we can hear a bunch of teenagers drunk and yelling, it kept me awake all night! and in the morning around 6 o’clock, we can hear the yelling of children in the school near the hotel. DEVASTATING! Though the hotel has a great location near the canal and tourist attractions and it has the vintage Strasbourg style, DON’T LET THIS FOOL YOU! NOT A 4 STARS HOTEL AT ALL! Ridiculous I will NEVERRRRR IN MY LIFE WASTE MONEY ON A ROOM LIKE THAT AGAIN.

The rooms are really cozy and beautifully furnished and they are VERY well cleaned. There are however a few (little) things you do not expect from a 4 stars hotel: for once, our two rooms did not have a proper shower. We had in fact two rooms on the last floor, just beneath the roofs and they had only a bathtub in which you must sit in order to be able to use the shower...it is ok for younger people but for elder people who expect the confort of a four stars hotel it can be a bit unconfortable. I do not know if all rooms are the same though. What I did missed was a little fridge to store some of the food we bought (not such a terrible thing, but something you do expect in a 4 stars hotel). The whole staff is extremely kind and always ready to help. In the evening, though, there is only one single person who needs to both hold the reception, take care of the bar and of any potential customers who wish to eat something small. It sometimes seemed like too much work for one person alone. Lastly, the hotel is certainly not located any close to the city centre. Walking fast you indeed can reach the cathedral in about 15 minutes but the area of the hotel is clearly a suburban area and the road that gets to the centre can appear quite long to elderly people.

It is conveniently located halfway between the station and Petite France, rooms are minuscule with bathrooms 1x1 meters, bed is confortable and the room has only one plug to charge whatever you need. The people at the reception or at least the man who checked me in, not exactly the most welcoming type of this world. The brakfast room is okay if you get at 7 am. Later it gets messy as the lady that should take care of cleaning the tables is not the most efficient of this world. This happend two days in a row, with also coffee machine having repeated problems. We booked this hotel to celebrate New Year’s Eve with our friends in Strasbourg. The location of the hotel is so centrally located and yet in a very quiet neighbourhood. We could not have asked for more, only 5 minutes walking to Place Kléber, and 5 more minutes to Place de la Cathédrale. We stayed in a Classic room on the 6th floor. For Strasbourg standards, the room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a bathtub. There was a complimentary bottle of water. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, and the staff was working very hard . There was only one drawback. When we were staying in the hotel there were also. 2 rather large groups, and there was definitely not enough room for a buffet formula. There were definitely not enough tables, and people bumped into one another. All the front desk employees were very friendly and professional. They really did do their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We planned to come back to Strasbourg in summer and we definitely will stay again in Mercure Strasbourg Centre.

The location is very good, but the hygiene is not good. The room where I stayed for the first night has a taste of stool. After talking to the front desk, I will change other rooms soon, but the curtains in the room are very dusty. The equipment and design inside are completely different. Star, equivalent to 2 stars, and there is not much choice for breakfast, just some bread and cheese, all the drinks are drink machines, no hand-handed, so it is not four stars. The first night was booked in a superior room, but it did not meet the advanced room at all, and it was subject to further improvement in all aspects.

After much research, I chose Hotel Les Haras and it did not disappoint. A gorgeous walk through Petite France to the major sites of Strasbourg, alternatively you can follow the canal and make your way to the old town. Pros Breakfast was abundant, great service and a modest but good sized room for France. Cons The shower door was more decorative than functional so expect a flooded bathroom and ask for extra towels. The breakfast area (which transformed into a bar in the evening) lacked atmosphere. Unfortunately our room service was also served cold. We indulged a little during our trip! Some recommendations include: 1741 Maison Kammerzell And the hotel brasserie is also highly recommended although note it is technically not affiliated with the hotel. The Christmas markets at Strasbourg were a let down. There are some small French villages nearby which are much more worthwhile - such as Kayserberg and Obernai for a fairytale-like Christmas experience.

The hotel's location is really ideal. It's just outside the city centre, but there is a tram just around the corner that leads you straight into the city centre in 10 minutes. And it was only €7 for 5 people for 1 day unlimited use. It's very clean, the rooms are nice and the extra pillow I requested was waiting for me. Special shout out to Charlotte from reception, who was really kind and gave us all sorts of tips for what kind of tram ticket would be best for our group, tips for the European Parliament, etc. Wonderful! Only disadvantage: the buffet breakfast was €25 which was quite expensive for a breakfast that was more continental really.

We booked originally for 4 nights for 2 adults, a kid and a 3 months old baby. The check in was smooth and we were allowed to access the appartement around midday. At the check in we were informed that the hotel cannot provide a baby bed since it was against the hotel covid protocol (we stayed in 2 hotels in Paris and Strasbourg few days before and we have been offered a baby bed). Straight away we considered cancelling the hotel since it is a safety risk to have a 3 months old baby in the parents bed. The staff were nice enough to make an exception and bring a crib that we set up ourselves. We accessed the flat and we were surprised that it was very basic and with a tiny window in the living room and the bedroom. The flat was dark and lacked light and air. This was not aligned with the photos in the website which showed a big window in the living room. We requested to change to another appartment but we have been told that the hotel is fully booked for the night and it’s actually an ‘advantage’ to have a small window since it’s going to be very hot. This is when we discovered that the appartements are not air conditioned. We found a spider in the bedroom, we called the receptionist to have it removed. The receptionist loughed and said it is normal to have spiders when you have windows. She recommended that we remove it ourselves. The bed was basic with basic matress and pillows. It was an uncomfortable night for all of us. The following day we requested to cancel the booking for the remaining nights and asked for a refund. This was accepted since we booked directly on the website with the flexible rate. The receptionists were not really interested to know the reason of the cancellation or take our feedback. I guess it was obvious we were not happy. I called the following day to ask if the refund was processed since I dis not see the refund coming through even after more than 24hours. I was told that the refund was processed and I have a receipt and that I need to be put on hold again since the receptionist was busy. Overall I think this is basic hotel, the appartement we have been given (1 bedroom) was dark, miserable and not as clean as we expected. Regarding the price this place is definetly overrated and we could find much better place for lower price. I would not recommend this hotel.

There was no smile at the front desk when I checked in, and the corridor was very narrow and the room was small and the impression was average. Later, I found that it was quite good. The price is really high. The small lobby always has hot tea and snacks. The front desk is very patient in answering questions. Especially the man who didn’t smile when he checked in on the first day was actually very Professional and very welcoming, the recommended places to visit are very worthwhile, because Strasbourg has come to work without doing any homework, and it is very pleasant to meet such a recommendation. Go to the breakfast restaurant to buy a cup of coffee, the waiter is very nice to say that it is provided free of charge, just drink, do not pay. The hotel walks to the train station and walks for 12 minutes without luggage. Drag the suitcase for a few minutes. It is within walking distance of all the old town attractions.

We spent 2-nights here over a long weekend. When we got to our room, we discovered that the bracket for holding the shower head was broken and the shower had to be used as a handheld shower. The mechanism for operating one of the two outside window blinds was non-existant. We requested a change of room and were told that as the hotel was full, it would only be possible to change the room on the following morning after 11:00! We vacted our room and changed it on the following day. In the "new" room, the shower head could not be held in place for the right height as the mechanism did not hold it in place. There was a huge patch of mould on the ceiling of the bathroom near the extractor fan! Both outside window blinds could not be operated as the mechanism for doing so had obviously been broken or removed. I asked the Receptionist what kind of hotel this was and told her that my review to Tripadvisor would not be very flattering. Her retort was, "I don't care, it is not my hotel"!!! That sums it up! The room(s) were quite spacious (though the double bed was not very large) with a little kitchen attached. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was adequate. The following is a list of the complaints: 1st room #314: Shower head bracket broken so shower had to be held by hand. No toiletries provided in bathroom - except a small piece of soap No bathmat. TV quite small for the size of the room. The light switch for the corridor by the lift did not function. 2nd room #414 Big patch of mould on the bathroom ceiling. No toiletries provided in bathroom - except a small piece of soap No bathmat. Unable to adjust height of shower head on the vertical rail as the holding mechanism was obviously defunct! TV quite small for the size of the room. Unable to use the outside window shutters as mechanism was not present. The tap on the kitchen sink was like a loose tooth!!! There was no door between the entrance hall and the bedroom though the hinges for one were there. It had obviousl been removed. The light switch for the corridor by the door into the rooms, did not work. The parking in the hotel grounds costs €10 per day. A plus point was that the hotel was within walking distance of the centre and some restaurants Finally, we shall certainly not be visiting this hotel again. We most certainly did not enjoy the stay!

We visited Strasbourg in late November for the Christmas markets. The hotel could not be better located, sitting in the middle of the historic district and steps from one of the many markets sprinkled throughout the city. We booked two rooms and while connecting rooms were not available, the hotel put us in two rooms in a corridor with a deadboltdable exterior door. This was a perfect scenario for this anxious mom. The front desk staff were exceptional here. They had wonderful dinner suggestions and activity recommendations. They allowed me to practice my mediocre French and only switched to English when I did (a rarity in France!). If I had three warnings they would be the following - if you're traveling during busy times they struggle to keep up with the volume at breakfast. We waited for a table and then most of the food was not replenished on the buffet in a timely manner. Our king room, while LOVELY was small (like many European hotels). Our junior suite was much more spacious and I would recommend it as a base room for most. Finally, if you're traveling during the market season, know that you'll be parking WELL off site (we parked at the mall). It's about 1/2 mile away, but with luggage on cobblestone, it's not a fun walk with teenagers, especially in the rainy drizzle.

The amenities were my favorite NUXE, and I personally was a tick. It was a late time to arrive at a single stay, so I chose it as close to Strasbourg station as much as possible, but Google Maps was a little scared to be guided through narrow and dark roads i did. There were many shops around UberEats and it was perfect. It was a short stay time, so it was like a very narrow business hotel in Japan and there was a feeling of cleanliness, so it was enough for me to consider it as a French hotel. I'm sorry if there is a little memory difference because I stayed 3 months ago.

I stayed at Mercure Strasbourg Centre Petite France for one night, as I was rearranged from an ibis Styles (as the latter was closed due to COVID). The hotel is located really downtown, 4 minutes from the Train Station and about the same from the tram, which takes you pretty much everywhere in Strasbourg. The Old Town is a short walk away, and even having just a handful of hours in Strasbourg I was able to make the most of it. The staff spoke great English and were polite and welcoming, I got a glass of wine as a welcome drink (a good wine by the way). The room was very nice and clean (well, it could have used some update, but I can imagine that before COVID this hotel was packed and there was no time to do any cosmetic touches). For me the room was just great. I would like to complement the bed and the pillows, I slept like a baby. The breakfast was nice, though as I understand, due to the pandemic the breakfast menu was reduced substantially. All in all, highly recommended for a short stopover - I will not hesitate to be back as soon as I travel to Strasbourg.

Months ago I already booked a room for several days in this hotel. Previously I had a good experience. However now it was completely disappointing First of all when I arrived, they put me in a room on the top floor on the side where each 5 minutes a tram is passing by. I asked the receptionist to give me another room, but she told me that all the rooms were full and that the trams will stop at midnight (she did not mention that they will restart earlymorning) I was put through to the manager. He told me to my surprise that "everyone wants to be settled at the other side". I became.angry and told him that I booked this room already months ago. He told me not to raise my voice because "this was annoying" After a while when I left the hotel, he told me that they succeeded to have another room the next day. They called me next.morning at 07.30 that a room was free and I need to move. I asked them if I can be helped with my luggage (normally hotels have a kind of carriage where you can put your stuff so you dont need to.pack you all.luggage again, but the receptionist said they could not. The room 523 was indeed at the other side but besides the elevator, I had to take some steps. With a bad back, big luggage and without help, it was not comfortable My advise is if you book this hotel to have a room not on the top floors (because of just one elevator) and not on the side of the trams which.produces the noise. If these conditions are done then it might be a comfortable place because the location is nice.

The above title about saids it all. We stayed for 6 nights and it was a very nice stay. We got daily advice as to where to dine at local restaurants which were great value and very nice food. However we found it strange that dogs were allowed to stay at the hotel (I have been an Accor member for 10 years and I never have come across an Accor hotel that allowed dogs to stay covering from Ibis to Sofitel and all the different hotels in between) at a cost of 8 Euros per night! We were shocked to see dogs at the restaurant in the morning for breakfast and one morning a dog barked at me and had a go at my leg. Lucky the dog was on a short leash held by its owner. Very strange indeed!

Stayed for four nights on a business trip. No complaints about the room. It was clean and the kitchen was great for eating in. Kitchen includes a two-burner hob, electric kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, sink, a couple of pots, a frying pan, cutlery, and plates/bowls/cups for two people. Quite adequate. As is normal for European Aparthotels, there are no cleaning supplies but you have to clean the kitchen and dishware yourself before leaving. Bring your own sponges, scrubbers, etc. Daily maid service provides new toilet paper and towels, but does not other cleaning. There is a vacuum cleaner in the room if you need it. Again, normal for an aparthotel. One weirdness about the room is that the toilet is in a separate WC near the main entrance while the bathroom—tub/shower and sink only—is on the opposite side of the room. Very poor design and a waste of space as well: the toilet and tub are adjacent to each other but separated by a wall. If the wall were removed the bathroom, with a bit of rearranging, would be a nice large space rather than one small bathroom and one claustrophobic WC. Only giving this three stars because the gym is essentially not accessible if you are in town on business--doesn't open until 0800 and closes at 2000. As I had to be in our collaborators' office at 0830 and was usually out at dinner until after 2000 this was a problem for me. Also, there is no information on the website regarding the opening times of the gym. Really, if you want business people to stay at your property you need to provide services during non-working hours, or at least make the information available before booking. I really liked the kitchen, and the location near the rail station is great, but I won't be staying here again until they change the gym hours.

The hotel is very close to the church and the small French area, and you can walk right and walk across the bridge. The entrance is the tram stop, and you can also travel by car. The triple room we booked is actually a second room, very convenient and the bed is very large. Turn right at the door and turn left at the first street. There is a supermarket. The microwave in the room can be used. The backyard has its own parking lot. It is very convenient for 10 euros a day. We have two days to go and have free access. (Parking in the white box on the roadside is free from 6pm to 8am).

We had a nice stay over at hotel Beaucour. The duplex room was nicely arranged and the staff was kind enough to provide extra bed linen. While we were in the middle of the city close to a main road, our sleep was absolutely not disturbed by traffic noise or even noise from inside the building. Soundproof!

Strasbourg Downtown
We recently stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children (4 and 5). Booking was seamless and easy bar some confusion over whether breakfast was or wasn't included. The hotel is in a phenomenal location in Petite France, however bear in mind as it is on a pedestrianized street there is very limited parking at the property. This isn't an issue as there is a public garage close by and the hotel has a subsidized rate of €18.50/night. The building itself is beautiful and historic with plenty of period detail. The rooms are old but well equipped and clean and they have character(wooden floors/beams etc.) Ours was a family room so there was a set of bunks which the children really loved. The added benefit of a Nespresso machine also went down well with the caffeine addict parents. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. There were plenty of towels provided and the hotel toiletries were of decent quality. There were only small niggles within a great overall stay. Namely a lack of seating and supplies at breakfast on both mornings and also our room wasn't cleaned even though we had requested it and we had been out for 6 hours. Overall would recommend and stay again.

For breakfast, there are croissants and two to three types of bread to choose from, coffee and other beverages are provided by the machine, and the juices include orange juice and apple juice. Generally speaking, it is very economical and affordable for an adult at six euros (half price for children under twelve years old). However, the quadruple room (one double bed + bunk bed) really has limited space for activities. There was no tea or coffee in the room, and no kettle, but the hotel staff was very kind and willing to give us hot water.
