This was a last minute booking and it was a great holiday even under the circumstances of the global pandemic. We arrived at 11.30pm on the Saturday. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who took our temperature and had us fill out our forms (Covid and sign in). We went to our room which was an amazing room. Best weve had in Turkey as we've visited quiet a lot in the past. A very french/elegant type room as well as some food that was delivered to our room (chips and a baguette with ham) which was perfect from our long journey. The hotel was situated on the strip of Marmaris which plenty of bars and nightlife on offer and all were open. They had 2 pools which both were great and had plenty of sun loungers but this maybe due to the current situation. The front pool was on the front od the strip which included a bar and the 2nd pool which was quieter without music had a waterfall and a bar. This pool area also held lunch which was nice to have a few days (burgers, chips, pasta etc). The bars were nice but didn't have much options when it came to cocktails as they only has Sex on the Beach and Pina Colada. The beer was nice as well as the very generous mixers but again, only had Gin, Vodka and Brandy. Other hotels in the past had a larger selection on offer. The food was okay. Not much of a selection but again, due to current circumstances this could of been the reason to why as they had empty stalls for the buffet. There was a McDonald's near by as well as shops which you could visit but due to the in hotel shop, we rarely visited the super markets. The gym was well equipped and had good air con which was a godsend as it was very hot there during our stay. The activities guy also was polite and offered any help by giving us his WhatsApp and offered us some good activities to go on. We chose the Scuba diving and it was honestly one of the best things I had done while visiting Turkey and would 100% do it again. All in all I felt this deserved a 4 out of 5 due to the food being abit lack luster. Knowing Turkey, you expect this as a 5 star hotel isn't really a 5 star standard; but again, it was a fun and relaxing 7 day holiday.

As a guest that didn’t say at the Motto Premium Hotel and Spa I was quite surprised at the service that was offered to me and my partner. We actually found out about the Spa via our waiter (Enis), who spoke little English but used every effort to communicate and see to that we had the VERY BEST dinning experience. His service and attention to detail was impeccable. So much so that I wish I could carry Big Chef & Enis back to the Uk 🇬🇧. On Enis recommendation we visited the Spa that, I truly wish I could have gave more than 5⭐️’s (but as I couldn’t, gave a nice tip to my therapist as did my partner) the service was second to NONE! Staff polite & friendly and the facilities were hospital clean. My only disappointment is that I didn’t find out about the Spa sooner. Thank you Enis at Big Chef and to the team at Motto Spa for making my trip to Marmaris one to remember.

Firstly, I wouldn’t let previous reviews completely put you off from booking this hotel I happened to read most of them and was dreading what I would find however it’s not as bad as previous reviews have made out in my opinion. Room are compact and bijoux. Overall very clean and no issues regarding replenishing towels. Not much room for storage but this wasn’t a big deal breaker for us. Lovely sea views and a small fridge with cold water on arrival. Due to being right on the beach there’s no pool at this hotel again not a massive deal breaker for us as we loved going in the sea. Food was very basic. Breakfast was a hit or a miss and lunch and dinner was very much repetitive however for the price we paid to stay at this hotel we really couldn’t complain and it’s so cheap to eat out so if something doesn’t tickle your fancy there are many pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Mostly staff were friendly and had a good sense of humour. There was one receptionist however who has a severe attitude problem. On our last day we weren’t flying until 23.30 and we had to be checked out our room by 12pm. My partner queried about paying extra for the late checkout service they had advertised on their welcome sheet but her response was that this service was not available under any circumstances and we had to get out by 12. No offer of an empty room to shower in just pointed to the direction of the communal showers in the basement of the hotel (Pre warning take flip-flops if you plan to shower here!) Later that day whilst getting ready to go home she seen my partner with one of the hotel towels drying off his hair from using the monstrosity that they called showers and was horrified that he was doing so. So not only was she expecting us to stink whilst travelling she wasn’t evening willing to let us use towels to get ourselves dry. I’m sorry but that’s not the right attitude towards paying guests. We were not impressed with her at all and unfortunately this lets the team down as we were impressed up until this point. Top pointers to keep you right if you choose to stay here; Buy a bottle for the room as all inclusive ends at 11pm every night. Limited drinks are available on all inclusive so be mindful if you drink something unusual chances are they won’t have it. All inclusive ends 12pm on your checkout date. Don’t be put off by previous reviews stating the WiFi is your passport number this is not the case at all anymore. Regarding currency I would take English sterling and a small amount of lira for buses etc. Most hotels and restaurants will exchange cash for you and give you a better rate. Hope this helps :)

My Turkish husband went in and negotiated a great price for the night. Previously we had stayed in another resort and decided to stay an extra night in Marmaris and the other place couldn’t accomodate is so we chose this hotel. The room rate considering the location was brilliant. Upon walking in the concierge Cengis noticed we had a small plastic bag. My husband asked how much to have it laundered. He said don’t worry we will fix it. It won’t be much. We had a full suitcase of dirty laundry at the last place and it only cost 45tl. No problem. We were told it would be ready after breakfast the next morning. The room itself was great except it would help if the tv had anything english in it and the menu etc in the room was in English (it is touristic Marmaris) and staff, although couldn’t speak English were lovely and fun. The next morning though we went down for the average breakfast. The staff were all lovely and having fun until the Manager walked in. The staff all suddenly looked terrified. No longer were they friendly, just professional and silence. This is not good for the guests. We then got our luggage from the room and went to leave. Asked for our laundry. It came back, the charged us $170tl!!! The items were not ironed, still half wet and two white shirts were turned bright yellow! The hotel got the man to come back on his little scooter and he basically told my husband bad luck that is the fee. My husband was really angry. The hotel gave my husband 20tl to try to compensate us. The laundry cost more then the accommodation and they ruined two $60 shirts! Can I please suggest you find a new laundry service!

Hi all, We have just returned from Marmaris. We have been to Marmaris about 20 times, and this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. 5 minute walk to Blue Port. 10 seconds walk to the clean sandy beach. For the price we paid, I was amazed. Free good strong Wi-Fi. And even good free cold air-conditioning This was a group of 8 of us, 3 families. This was 6 adults, and 2 young children. From the moment we arrived at the reception desk, we were greeted with welcoming smiles, and genuine warm feelings. Especially they were welcoming the children, as Marmaris Turkey is well know for being "Child Friendly" We were all checked in to our rooms with no fuss at all. We had room 506, which was a lovely sea view room. The room was immaculate, nothing out of place, so tidy and clean. There is a well stocked fridge, with lots of spare space for us to put our own water, and fruit, etc. The bathroom had a good powerful shower, something I always judge any hotel on, this was no exception, loads of hot water, any time of the day or night, no worries there. Our room was quiet, and every night we got a good nights sleep, as we did trips every single day. The breakfast is served on the ground floor, one can have breakfast inside, or outside, or under a sun umbrella. This is a sea-front hotel, with just the pedestrianises walkway between the hotel and the sandy beach. The hotel have their own part of private beach, with sun loungers, and great drinks service included. As we return to Marmaris almost 2 times every year, I am feeling very happy to go to this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay at Yunus Hotel.

quick service on arrival. Room view was awful but was given a pool view room next day which was lovely. Spacious shower and bedroom although all of room needed updated and given a deep clean. Food was delicious and plenty choice although often served warm instead of hot. Although all inclusive drinks options were minimum and I ended up drinking beer shandy for week rather than pay for cocktails and better quality drinks. Wine wasn’t that great. Tea/ coffee etc available all day. Pool was kept clean although smaller than you’d expect. Plenty sun beds but these were claimed with towels very early in the morning and sometimes not even used! Lost count of people coming back from somewhere later in the day and picking up towels without even lying on the bed!!!! Management need to remove towels from unused sun beds. Although a few flies at one end of pool no other bugs, thanks to the lovely, healthy cats moving around the hotel... I think. Although generally quiet the staff were pleasant and helpful. Although the manager was seen he didn’t interact with guests other than a good morning etc on passing. Good evening entertainment (didn’t last long) and bingo every night. Nice base. Out and about 15 minutes walk to beach. By paying for a drink you can sit / lounge on any beach and we both found this to be very relaxing. No hassle from shops other than them asking you to come and see what they are selling. Sellers were good humoured and excepted no. Go to dancing fountains 9-9:30 for an amazing show in the evening for free!

The location is right in the city centre, next to the only shopping centre and many restaurants. Traveling is very convenient and you don't have to worry about being unsafe. The housing facilities are very good and also have a small balcony. The hotel comes with a small pool. Take a taxi from Otogar bus station to the past 25 liras. There is a car at the door to go to the port (and a walk), 1.25 lira. Anyway, I think 200 living here is worth it (including dinner and breakfast).

We spent a wonderful two nights at this hotel! The location was perfect--right on the beach and not too far from the marina. The hotel itself was lovely, and we adored all of the details such as beautifully tiled floors and comfortable clean rooms. Furthermore, the staff were really helpful in accommodating us. Breakfast was delightful (traditional turkish breakfast), and the manager, Ayse, explained that the jams served were actually homemade by her, so of course we purchased our favorite jams to bring back home! Additionally, I've got a gluten allergy so she was able to make the necessary arrangements for dinner. On our last day, we explained to Ayse that weren't able to make it to breakfast so she kindly arranged for sandwiches to be made for our journey. Overall, Ayse and the rest of the staff were very kind and welcoming, and the hotel exceeded all of our expectations!
