Our purpose built holiday home is located in the heart of One Tree Point, very close to the Marsden Cove waterways and marina development. Nestled near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a very sheltered section, it is only steps from a beautiful safe swimming beach within the Whangarei Harbour. The Bach sleeps 6 with a maximum of 4 adults, it offers plenty of off street parking, and is equipped with a handy hot/cold outdoor shower for easy sand removal after a day at the beach. One Tree Point is a fabulous beach side holiday destination located half and hours drive south of Whangarei, and only 90 minutes drive from central Auckland. Located near the entrance of the Whangarei Harbour, it offers easy launching and safe boating all year round and many safe swimming locations. Facilities within easy walking distance of our bach include a fabulous waterside cafe, liquor wholesaler, hair and beauty therapist and local dairy. A childrens playground is close by and we are only a few minutes drive from the Ruakaka shopping centre. Beautiful 1950's bach that has been renovated over the years. Two bedrooms with open plan kitchen, dining and living including a sleepout with bathroom.Deck catching all day sun with a lawn for the kids to play.Room for a boat and facilities to clean.Addition to bach - there is a sleepout available which sleeps 4 (queen bed and a set of bunks) with it's own toilet and shower.It is just a 1 minute walk to the Marsden Bay beach/ playground and a 10 minute walk to Marden Cove Marina complex. Perfect for a summer family holiday. Just 90 minutes from the Auckland harbour bridge, modern and spacious two bedroom waterfront apartment on ground level, Completely separate with own private entrance. NO CLEANING FEE! Majestic views of the harbour from the lounge and main bedroom. WIFI, SKY TV and Netflix for your entertainment. Step outside onto the sunny deck surrounded by lovely gardens. Enjoy a barbecue and watch the sun go down or take a walk along the beach at low tide. FREE use of 2-man Kayak, Small boats can be easily taken to the beach via our boat ramp. There is a fish filleting outdoor bench and boat cleaning facilities. Outside power point for charging electric vehicles. PLEASE NOTE a maximum of 4 registered guests only may stay. NOTE: Not suitable for infants.The unit is close to Marsden Cove marina and boat launching facilities. There are fishing charters available also at the marina with cafes and restaurants nearby. Surf beaches at Ruakaka and Waipu are only a few minutes drive away with their own cafes, restaurants and markets, and a modern golf course. Whangarei city is only a 25 minute drive away with many attractions including Whangarei Falls and the Town Basin Marina in the heart of the city. Boutique shopping and several walking tracks are in this area and popular weekend markets are only a short walk away. Sports complex and events centre also only 25 minutes away. While you are here, check out the Tutukaka Coast or Whangarei Heads. Both are unique and stunning in their own right and provide a nice day out. Further North, the spectacular Bay of Islands will not disappoint! Rich in history and known around the world for deep sea fishing and diving, wonderful scenic reserves and marine life. Property is close to a safe harbour for paddling, and kayaking. A short drive to Ruakaka beach for surfing and fishing. Two cafes within walking distance, several boat ramps and small convenience store which does the best take away food! Sit at the Marina Cafe and watch the boats come and go. Only 20 mins to Waipu with its monthly markets, new cycle track and a variety of shops. Only 40 mins to Whangarei with its vibrant Harbourside Cafe and Art Scene and the world renowned Hunterwasser Gallery. Walk the popular Loop walk around the Harbour or Cycle the track to Onerahi.
