Decor is excellent and the theme of the rooms is cohesive and smart. Excellent gym but pool was an additional cost, unless you have a suite. This was a disappointment and gives the place a cheap feeling.  There were lots of additional events being held at the hotel which gave the place a noisy and overly busy feel. Often large groups of party goers waiting for lifts at night. Corridors are also quite busy and noisy. There is a feel that hotel guests are a necessary afterthought when these events are held. Staff ranged from very nice to indifferent and sometimes even disdainful.  Overall I wouldn’t describe this hotel as peaceful or a place that makes you feel at ease.

I didn't have time to use the facilities as my flight was changed and I needed to leave early in the morning. I didn't realize breakfast was included (I feel like it usually isn't in Norway), and that was a pleasant surprise, even if I didn't have time to try it. However, the best part of my stay was when I checked out very early to catch my train to the airport and the person in reception offered me a packed breakfast to go since I didn't have time to eat. I passed as I had too much luggage to manage one more thing, but I really appreciated the gesture and it was such a nice start to a long day of intercontinental travel.

Excellent! Located in the city center, convenient for shopping, though a bit of a walk from the train station. There are also good Chinese restaurants nearby. All the hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean, especially the handsome concierge and the stunningly beautiful receptionist. At breakfast, a very kind Asian lady was incredibly attentive, respecting the elderly and caring for the young. She always made a point of asking if we wanted anything special, like egg rolls, which warmed my heart. Kindness is always rewarded. The hotel seems to frequently host DJ performances on the first floor; the place is always packed, creating a lively atmosphere.

The room was really clean, but there was no shampoo or conditioner. Also, the hairdryer was unfortunately broken. When I mentioned these issues to the receptionist upon check-out in the morning, they said, ”If you had contacted us earlier, we would have provided them.” Of course, in that moment, it's crucial for the conditions to be suitable. Despite these points, the hotel room was genuinely spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, there's no kettle. An iron and ironing board are available, just so you know. Even though this hotel is far from the city center, I would still recommend it.

The hotel's location is good and convenient. Although the room isn't large, it's clean and functional, which was acceptable. I arrived in Oslo a day early, excited for my Silver Sea Arctic cruise, and planned to extend my stay at the hotel for one night after the cruise. When checking in, I specifically mentioned that the cruise company had already booked a room for the following night and asked if I could stay in the same room to avoid switching. The receptionist checked and confirmed that they had specially arranged for me to stay in the same room, and I would just need to renew my key the next day. I was very pleased, thinking the hotel's service was thoughtful and human. However, the next morning when I went to the front desk to renew my key, I was told that if I wanted to continue my stay, I'd have to pay an additional 500 NOK! The hotel management's policy changed so suddenly; I believe their service greatly needs improvement. I also have an extended stay for one night on my return trip. I wonder if they'll try to make me switch rooms or upgrade then?! Very dissatisfied. Also, the bed wasn't very big, and the breakfast chef was very unfriendly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Quality Hotel Hasle Linie during our New Year’s trip to Oslo, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome with warm smiles and helpful service. Check-in was smooth and fast, which was perfect after a long travel day. Our rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable — exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay with a group of friends. The beds were cozy, the bathroom was spotless, and the views from the rooms were lovely. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made everything feel special for the holiday. The location was fantastic, just a short distance from major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. It made exploring Oslo so convenient, whether we were heading out for dinner or wandering around the city to enjoy the New Year festivities. One highlight was the breakfast buffet — fresh, varied, and delicious. There was something for everyone, and it gave us great energy to start each day full of adventure. Overall, Quality Hotel Hasle Linie gave our group a memorable and comfortable stay. We loved celebrating the New Year here, and we would absolutely come back again. Highly recommended!

Location-wise, the cathedral is visible just to the right as you exit, about a 4-minute walk away. To the left, the Royal Palace is also about a 4-minute walk. Cleanliness: Also good. The room was a bit small, but the floor-to-ceiling window was nice. Didn't book breakfast, so nothing to report there.

The hotel is a bit old, but it's still very clean. The breakfast is fantastic, with a great variety of milks, chocolate milk, juices, and even brown goat cheese. The only downside is that I wouldn't recommend it if you're driving, as parking in the city center is really expensive. If you do drive, make sure to check in before 12 PM, as the hotel's contracted parking garage only allows entry before then.

The location is not that far from train and bus station, so you can walk about 17 minutes, if you don't have too big luggage. Otherwise, there are seversl tram lines that can take you there in just a two stops, while the stop is just in-front of the hotel. We only stay overnight, having a small breakfast box from the reception at 5 AM. The third bad was not ready, but the reception boy came in 10 mimutes and prepared it for us. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, but it was not for free, as usually in Norwegian hotels. Thrre was no coffee in the room, as well.
