Pros: only thing I can think of is the location. 10mins walk to the bus and main train station.
Cons: I checked-in at the late evening and entered my room finding a bathrobe and slippers lying on the bathroom floor, which gave me the impression that the room has not been properly cleaned. Service was not great either, it took 1 hour and three calls to finally have someone to replace the robe and slippers on the floor.
Old and poor infrastructure as a 5-star hotel. The light by the bed was broken and cannot be switched off and shower always comes with super hot water first. Have to switch to another room since they can’t fix the light issues.
The breakfast was 45 euros per person at the counter, but quality and choices were just average.
Wouldn’t recommend this hotel given the price. If people want to live close to the train station, it’s better to find alternatives.FromBRL 1,448

However, there are quite a few homeless people in the surrounding area, which makes it a bit unsettling at night. In the evenings and afternoons, there are often sounds of arguments involving homeless people and drunk individuals. While the hotel itself is great, the surrounding environment can be somewhat off-putting...

This hotel is located just outside the city center, right next to a metro station, and directly across from Olympic Park. It's only one metro stop away from the BMW Museum. The breakfast is quite good, with a wide variety of options. The room bedding is clean and high quality. The toilet and shower are separate. Our room faced Olympic Park, and we could see the TV tower. I recommend requesting a higher floor for better views. The hotel service is also good, and there's a large underground parking garage. The hotel service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. However, the cleanliness could be improved. We left used coffee glasses in the room and they were not replaced or washed. We also noticed a hole in the blanket and some yellow stains. We asked for a toothbrush, but were told there was no stock, which was a bit surprising for a Pullman.

The hotel is brand new and fantastic. There's a bus stop right outside, and taxis are easily available; it's about 15 euros to Marienplatz, so getting around is very convenient. The minibar is refilled daily, and the breakfast is rich and varied. They have an underground parking garage, and you need a key card to use the elevator, which feels very secure. The rooms aren't huge, but the bathroom is very functional, and the bed, by European standards, is quite large and comfortable. Service: The guy at the front desk spoke excellent English, easy to understand with no accent, and check-in was very quick. Breakfast was great, with a good variety and delicious options. The mini bar was a big plus – you could refill drinks for free, free, free~! There's a LIDL supermarket just 50 meters away, which was really convenient. There's also a Bavarian-style restaurant nearby that serves sausages and pork knuckles and stays open until after 10 PM.
Hygiene: The drainpipe under the sink did have a bit of a sewage smell, so remember to plug it.
The hotel itself feels safe and has a safe in the room, but it's very close to the train station, and you can tell the area is a bit mixed, with quite a few Black people. I'd recommend trying not to return too late at night.FromBRL 551

This hotel was at a great location! A few minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof and another U-bahn station. The Marienplatz area was also nearby, reachable within 15 minutes on foot. This hotel has not let its sublime location overshadow its services too. The rooms were spacious and had ample amenities. Great hotel! Quiet amidst the noise, adjacent to the Botanical Garden, sitting in the room can see the old and new Legislative Palace of Munich outside the window. Upon check-in, the front desk informed us that the buffet dinner area was closed for some reason that day, so they arranged for us to dine at the bar. We were initially a bit worried, but it turned out to be an authentic Western meal with appetizers, main courses, desserts, and drinks – nothing was missing, and it was all delicious, which was a pleasant surprise. The only minor drawbacks were the rather small parking spaces, which made parking a bit difficult, and that the hotel facilities are showing their age. As we'd read in guest reviews, it was confirmed that the attentiveness of the service staff, including management, at breakfast could be improved, even during off-peak times. We were quickly assigned a table, but we weren't able to order drinks. Eye contact with the staff wasn't possible. We were finally able to place our orders at the buffet. Service at Bayerischer Hof starts outside, when arriving by car: They take care of your luggage and take the keys to park your car. Reception is very friendly, helpful and effectively under the Corona-Regulations, to provide a good room for you.
Breakfast is still good, but before Corona-Times it was definitely better. I only managed a Dinner at Trader Vic's, which is quite nice for tourists, but not the original food I know from Asia myself.
The four days at the Bayerischer Hof were the most comfortable time I had this year.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre for a business trip and overall had a good experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, directly connected to the S-Bahn station, making it easy to reach both the airport and the city center. The rooms are clean, functional, and well equipped — ideal for business travelers. The Wi-Fi works well, and the breakfast is rich and varied, with friendly and attentive staff. The common areas are spacious and modern, and there are several well-organized meeting rooms available.
On the downside, the atmosphere is quite “business-like,” so don’t expect a particularly cozy or boutique feel. Also, since it’s a large hotel, it can get a bit busy and noisy in the public areas. Overall, it’s a good business hotel with reliable service and a solid value for money. Location is near the central train station, but there still a fair bit of walking required. The hotel looks new and the room is clean. The staff is helpful.
The park garage is right at the basement of the hotel, it's a steep slope down and the carpark lot looks limited. We parked for 2 days for 50 Euro.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station, bus station, tram, and subway. You can also walk to many places in the Old Town and the New Town Hall Square without taking the tram. Enjoy exploring on foot.
The area is a bit mixed, but there are many other branded hotels nearby, and everyone has to deal with the same diverse environment. There are plenty of eateries, including many Middle Eastern restaurants, creating a rich exotic atmosphere.
The hotel also provides stemmed wine glasses for guests to enjoy their purchased drinks.

Location: The apartment is conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from Munich Central Station. There's a Lidl nearby, perfect for grabbing ingredients to cook in your room. The room itself is equipped with a refrigerator, pots, and an electric stovetop.
Facilities: Although one of the two elevators in the apartment building was under maintenance, we didn't spend too long waiting. The soundproofing in the room was average; we could hear laughter from the adjacent room, but by 10 PM, everyone was usually quiet, so it didn't affect our sleep.
Important note: The front desk charges a 200 Euro deposit (a credit card hold for the equivalent amount) upon check-in. The refund is typically processed and released about a month later.FromBRL 506
