The hotel's location is pretty good. It's closed by most tourist spots in Munich. The staff is quite nice & helpful. The spa and gym is quite nice, and breakfast is good too. However, my mom found a little dirty stuff in the shower when she first got into her room. That's a minus. Overall, the hotel is quite good.

Two adults and one child, with our 5-year-old. We booked a standard double room with breakfast for two, and our child ate for free. The room was a bit small and the facilities were quite basic, but breakfast was decent. The biggest plus is its convenient location. Right outside the hotel, there's the Lufthansa Airport Express, which runs every 20 minutes. It costs 13 euros one-way for adults, and our 5-year-old traveled free. It takes about 50 minutes to get to the airport. For city attractions, Marienplatz is only about a 15-minute walk away. There's also a Subway, McDonald's, and even a Decathlon nearby. The location is absolutely fantastic.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the environment was good, very close to the subway entrance. However, the service at the reception was limited; checking in and dining required long waits in line. As for facilities, the bathroom in the room was too noisy. The elevators were slow, leading to long waiting times. The restaurant also had insufficient capacity, resulting in long queues and waits for meals.

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk to Pasing train station, and Pasing Arcaden is also quickly accessible. Unfortunately, the hotel is very noisy, which severely disturbed my sleep as you could literally hear everything from the neighboring rooms. The double bed was made of two single mattresses with a gap in between. On Sunday, room service started cleaning the neighboring rooms and so on as early as 9 AM, making it impossible to sleep in. I didn't get a good night's sleep.

Unfortunately, the room (404) had a very intense mothball/naphthalene smell. But like VERY INTENSE. It was noticeable even before entering and was strong enough that all of my belongings absorbed the odor. It was quite unbearable at times and significantly affected the overall experience. I felt bad going out because I had the perception I smelled of naphthalene all the time. Aside from that, the hostel itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean, with great storage and well-maintained facilities. The common areas are really cool and thoughtfully designed, and although the kitchen is small, it’s perfectly functional. I hope management looks into the ventilation or cleaning products used, because otherwise this would be a very enjoyable place to stay.

There are outlets next to the bed and interesting nightlights that can be directed in any direction. The kitchen has an interesting design, including a folding faucet. It's compact and functional. This hostel-style hotel is likely Indian-owned. The location is excellent, right outside a tram stop. It's only three stops to Munich Central Station (HBF), where you can connect to various subway lines. They offer self-check-in, and rooms can accommodate two or four people. The bathroom had a slight odor, with a smell coming from the drain. It's a budget-friendly option, so the quality isn't top-tier, but it's perfect for students or recent graduates/first-time travelers.

I booked this two room apartment for my family. When I checked in, I was told that it was NOT two bedrooms, but with one bedroom and a double sofia bed in the living room. Large enough to host four people. Nice to have washer machine in room and shared dryers in the basement. The shower space was open to the toilet room so water spills always. Could have a sliding door or curtain to separate. Location is close to tram station Karlsplatz, one stop from the central railway station. Staffs are nice and helpful.

This was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed at during our two-week trip. Winter in Europe can be a bit of a struggle, as most hotels have very thin duvets, but this one had a thick, cozy comforter and the room was wonderfully warm, making for a truly comfortable sleep. Plus, being able to cook our own meals was a game-changer – we really struggled with European food, and this was the first hotel that allowed us to cook. They had a full set of kitchen utensils, so we didn't need to buy anything extra. We only stayed for two nights, and we were so sad to check out. Next time I'm in Munich, I'm definitely staying here again!

The hotel is nicely located near the main square thus it is a plus. On your way back to the hotel, you will be passing by nice international food selection: viet, Italian, Indian and even two Afghani restaurants. Amd if you miss lne of course, you got your kebab shop! The deal breaker for me, the welcoming deamor of the reception staff. A mixed bag, half were smiling and half is long faced. My advice if smiling and welcoming guests isnt for you, one must quit a customer facing job. And the lady that checked us in has refused to add my husband's holiday in loyalty number. Her reasoning, since you booked using a third party, one must not earn the point. Okay but actually another of her colleague is willing to add the details, just in case we spent something in the bar. Why is it points cant be earn... same concept like flights.. they aren't fussy abt you earning yoir miles. You are the same person at the end of the day. Amenities: breakfast is sumptuous and varied selection although similar everyday. However reception here are way friendlier and jolly. Their gym is properly equipped. I am also delighted with their housekeeping, they do their daily rounds and the lobby is freshen up to. Compared to a marriot hotel which uses a robot, we're lobby edges are so filty. So kudos to the housekeeping team! I am happy though that my husband doesnt have a company site in Germany, I will take checking in France/Poland/India and china any day. They are just way welcoming. The attitude just simply put me off, it shouldn't be a German thing as we ate in a German restaurant in the main square, they are nice over there.

The front desk staff were quite unwelcoming. At one point, it felt like I was being ignored, as they seemed to avoid acknowledging me when I approached. There was also an issue with a missing extra bed in the room upon arrival. However, I appreciate that this was resolved quickly once I brought it to their attention. Another concern was with housekeeping. They entered the room at around 9:00 AM while I was still inside, which was uncomfortable and felt like a lack of privacy. I stayed at the Charles Hotel in Munich on Christmas Eve on 12.24. The location is very convenient next to the city center. There are service staff to help park the car and bring luggage into the room. The front desk staff offered a welcome Christmas drink, as well as warm and caring service throughout the process. The hotel has a historical atmosphere, the rooms are relatively modern, the small balcony can see the park view, and the mood is super good when the sun shines in the room in the morning. I booked the Christmas dinner at the restaurant Sophia's in the hotel in advance. The food is not bad, not bad. There are quite a variety of breakfasts. In addition to the buffets that can be seen in Europe, there are also Bavarian set meals to try. Generally speaking, the hotel is quite cost-effective and will not step on thunder. First, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers with young children or elderly family members. The surrounding area is highly mixed and felt unsafe during our stay. Within just three nights in Munich, we personally witnessed incidents including fighting and shop theft. This created a strong sense of insecurity for us as a family traveling with young children. Second, the bathroom design is extremely inconsiderate and poses safety risks. The raised bathroom floor becomes very slippery after the first person showers, yet no grab bars or safety features are provided. This is unacceptable for a hotel of such a well-known brand, and it is shocking that guest safety was clearly not considered during the design stage. Third, the housekeeping service was disappointing. Despite being out since morning, our room was not cleaned when we returned in the evening. When we requested assistance just to empty the rubbish bin, the cleaner refused, claiming our room was not within their assigned work area—even though it was on the same floor. Cleaning was only carried out after we called the housekeeping hotline, which left us very disappointed with the service standard. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a branded hotel, particularly in terms of safety, design consideration, and service quality.

The room was stylish and clean, but it was a bit dim with only indirect lighting. There weren't many amenities provided (oddly, only a shower cap was available). I had booked breakfast for 6:30 AM, but due to my flight schedule, when I arrived at 6:30, they were still vacuuming, and it didn't feel at all ready to welcome guests. There were hardly any staff around, and they only offered a quick greeting when they saw us. Since I had to leave by just after 7 AM, I ended up checking out without eating. Even after I checked out, the breakfast area still didn't seem properly set up, and other guests also looked confused. The staff were friendly, which was good, but the breakfast situation was the only regrettable part of my stay. Those hoping for an early breakfast should be aware of this.

Service at Bayerischer Hof starts outside, when arriving by car: They take care of your luggage and take the keys to park your car. Reception is very friendly, helpful and effectively under the Corona-Regulations, to provide a good room for you. Breakfast is still good, but before Corona-Times it was definitely better. I only managed a Dinner at Trader Vic's, which is quite nice for tourists, but not the original food I know from Asia myself. The geographical location is absolutely convenient for travel, whether taking a taxi or public transportation, and even the surrounding Chinese restaurants are quite abundant, and you can switch between formal meals and fast food at will. The basic room is not large, but it is enough. In terms of service, you will feel warm as soon as you step into the door of the hotel (trolls will say, money is the god, of course, money in this world can solve most problems, such as service). The breakfast variety is rich enough, there are a la carte and buffet categories.

Out of the city but in 100 meters you are in a free highway to go everywhere in the city center. Outdoor private free parking. Front desk people kind and helpful. Around not many restaurants or cafes or  supermarkets but you can manage it, just in case of needs.
