This serviced apartment has a pretty good environment, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even allowed me to check in early. The only downside is that breakfast is à la carte and the selection is quite limited. However, that didn't really dampen my stay. The beach is right outside, and to the left and right are other hotels in the Wyndham family, so it's quite lively in the evenings.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, and the views are absolutely perfect. The restaurant quality is also good, and watching the sunset at the fish bar was a fantastic experience. The staff are all incredibly well-trained, enthusiastic, and professional—it's not just a few individuals, but every single employee is welcoming and ready to assist with anything you need. Marriott's hotel training really shines through here. If I had to nitpick, the hotel sofas are a bit dated and starting to yellow slightly, and while the bed sheets are clean, they also show a bit of age with a slight yellowish tint. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I rarely sleep this well in a hotel. This is definitely a highly recommended top-tier hotel in Fiji.

Perfect location for the airport, literally walking distance across the road (and yet didn’t really hear planes!). Lovely grounds & pools. Good restaurant, although dinner portions very small. We had the cheapest room type, and it was disappointingly close to the kitchen noise & walls were very thin - we could hear our neighbours coughing through the night. We would use again for the airport, but try a more expensive room option.

We had a very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff — everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always trying to help with a smile. You can tell the team really cares about the guests, and that makes a huge difference. The hotel itself is quite remote and isolated, which can be either a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. There is no real private beach for swimming, so don’t expect a classic white-sand Fiji beach resort experience. However, the location is absolutely perfect for sunsets. The evening atmosphere is beautiful, calm, and very relaxing. The breakfast is not really at a 5-star level in terms of variety or quality, but it is still more than sufficient and you will definitely find enough options to start the day well. One thing that really feels outdated though: charging extra for Wi-Fi in the rooms in 2026 is honestly absurd. Hilton, seriously — what decade are we living in? Free room Wi-Fi should be standard at this level nowadays.

Nalagi Hotel is a 4-star hotel that offers great value for money. I had a very satisfying stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there's a Chinese restaurant next door. Plus, a McDonald's 🍔, a large supermarket, and a Western fast-food restaurant are all nearby, which is very convenient. The room came equipped with a hairdryer, shower cap, soap, shower gel, conditioner, refrigerator, and tissues. You'll need to bring your own slippers and toothbrush/toothpaste (which is pretty standard for most hotels anyway).

The only downside was the bathroom. The shower took a long time to produce hot water, resulting in wasted water and often uncomfortably cold showers. The water pressure was also quite low. Additionally, there was no shelf near the sink to place toiletries like toothpaste, which made things a bit inconvenient.

We stayed at Club Fiji for our entire 5-day visit, and after exploring the area during our stay, we believe it was the best choice in Nadi. Why did we love it? The location is fantastic — right on the beach (we stayed in a beachfront bure), close to the airport but without any airplane noise. There’s a convenient free shuttle to many activities like the Vau Contemporary Dance performance or a Denarau snorkel cruise, and a taxi to Nadi town costs about 10 FJD. Our beachfront bure was newly renovated, clean, and had everything we needed — not fancy but comfortable. The beds were made regularly if we weren’t in the room when housekeeping came by. The grounds are stunning, with beautifully kept gardens and loads of chill-out spots — beach beds under umbrellas, hammocks on palm trees, two pools, and lovely spaces to eat or have a drink. The service was very personal, with staff always checking if we needed anything. They even have a travel expert on-site to help plan your activities and bookings. Entertainment happens most nights, ranging from the unique way dinners are served (like Korean grills or beach BBQs) to concerts and local celebrations. Food-wise, the buffet breakfast is simple but adequate since there are few other options nearby; the à la carte dinner menu is decent, but the special grills are outstanding. We really loved the authentic Fijian atmosphere here, which felt very different from the typical all-inclusive resorts—it had a feeling you couldn’t find just anywhere in the world.

The room was incredibly clean, the floors were so shiny you could see your reflection, I almost felt bad walking barefoot on them! The owners are a couple from Beijing who have lived in Fiji for over ten years. The airport pick-up service was super convenient. The owner can also help book day tours, and the pick-up/drop-off point is very close by, making it easy to get to the pier. There are many delicious Chinese restaurants nearby. I especially loved the driver the owner arranged for me on the second day; he ate, played, and chatted with me all along the way, sharing so many interesting facts about Fiji and introducing various amazing things. It was an excellent experience! Highly recommend! So convenient for a layover.

The one bedroom had all I needed and more. Comfortable big bed, huge shower. A full kitchen with all the essentials so I could cook my own meals. It is big and open plan apartment. A big TV in the lounge and bedroom. Everything was super clean and shiny. The washing machine was an essential and greatly appreciated. All the staff were just lovely, friendly and helpful. The most speechless thing is the surrounding environment, next door is a chicken roll, the big cock starts to croak at three o'clock in the middle of the night, all day. . The occasional plane noise is also very loud. . Anyway, it is basically impossible to have a good rest. . The aunt who cleans the hotel will also help you with the whole thing; I am used to putting things outside, afraid that I will forget to collect them when I leave them in the cabinet. . This aunt was very cute, and she didn't tell me a word when I received all my things in the cabinet, which made me look for things the night before I checked out. . Of course, this is kind, not a disadvantage. .

I was lucky to share the room with two women, and we all slept really well every night. The food was good — I especially liked the chicken noodle soup. The staff were also very sweet and helpful with anything we needed. Overall, it was a comfortable, safe, and relaxing stay.

The food was good — I especially liked the chicken noodle soup. The staff were also very sweet and helpful with anything we needed. Overall, it was a comfortable, safe, and relaxing stay.

Nalagi Hotel is a 4-star hotel that offers great value for money. I had a very satisfying stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there's a Chinese restaurant next door. Plus, a McDonald's 🍔, a large supermarket, and a Western fast-food restaurant are all nearby, which is very convenient. The room came equipped with a hairdryer, shower cap, soap, shower gel, conditioner, refrigerator, and tissues. You'll need to bring your own slippers and toothbrush/toothpaste (which is pretty standard for most hotels anyway).

I stayed in an 8-bed dorm and overall had a comfortable stay. The bed, pillow, and blanket were good, and I slept well, although the mattress felt a bit like an air mattress. There are lockers available, but you need to bring your own lock. The reception staff were always helpful, whether it was arranging a taxi or answering questions. I also liked the small café at the hotel — it was cute and convenient. Bathrooms and toilets were close by, especially if you stay on the ground floor. The only downside was that another guest turned off the air conditioning during the night, which made the room uncomfortable, but that was more about the guest than the hotel itself. I had two wonderful nights in a spacious room with a balcony, which allowed me to truly relax. The room had a kettle, a fridge, an excellent bed, and the pool was spotless. Cafes, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Just be prepared for no internet access and make sure to get a local SIM card in advance.
