To be fair, the good thing is that the beach is right next door, and the sunset views are absolutely beautiful with hardly anyone around!!!

This hotel has a lot of potential; however, it’s definitely not up to the standard of a 4-5 star establishment. The staff was incredibly rude, especially the restaurant staff at the Red Chopstick. We were not allowed to take food away from the restaurant, and the breakfast staff was very unprofessional. My wife was sitting sideways with one of her legs up, and a waitress touched her leg to ask her to put it down as if she were a child. This incident happened twice, which was both humiliating and extremely disrespectful. It’s disappointing because we see potential in this hotel—the rooms are simply beautiful. However, the staff lacks manners and absolutely does not know how to cater to their customers, which is not up to a 4-5 star standard. Additionally, the room access is inconvenient; they should have a shuttle service to the rooms. I personally will not be visiting this hotel again. I do hope they take our criticism seriously and make the necessary improvements.SOLD OUT

I've been to Phuket 4-5 times, and this is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at. I did a lot of research before coming, so let me share my insights.
1. **The steep slope at the hotel entrance**
Personally, I was completely fine with it. Even in flip-flops, it wasn't hard to walk, and I always took a motorbike right outside, so it didn't bother me at all.
(If you're traveling with elderly people or children, I recommend taking a taxi for convenience.)
2. **Are Chinese guests treated differently?**
Absolutely not. The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were incredibly patient. They proactively asked if I wanted to store my luggage and offered towels so I could relax by the pool while waiting.
(Even if you don't speak English, you can rest assured. Even if you do speak English, they'll communicate with you in Chinese, and their explanations are very clear, so there are no communication difficulties.)
3. **Compared to other hotels with more prime locations, the geographical advantage here is slightly weaker.** However, the interior is very new, the water pressure from the taps is excellent, and the hot water doesn't cut out. It's also very quiet at night, so I got a great rest.

The front desk and housekeeping staff provided great service — polite, friendly, and always smiling. However, there was one incident at the restaurant that left me a bit disappointed.
On the first evening, my family and I planned to have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. When we arrived, I noticed two staff members lying on the sofa inside the restaurant. At first, I wasn’t sure if they were employees, so I asked about the corkage fee for bringing our own wine. The staff informed me that there would be a 50 THB charge for the ice bucket, and that drinking wine inside the restaurant was not allowed — only in the guest room. I agreed and walked away.
After that, I noticed the same two staff members went back to lie down on the sofa again, which didn’t look appropriate and left a poor impression.
Later, I called room service to order food and requested an ice bucket with two wine glasses. The staff confirmed and brought the ice bucket, but without the glasses. When I called again to ask, they told me, “We don’t have wine glasses.”
That was quite surprising, as a hotel that provides wine service would normally have wine glasses available.
Overall, I really liked the hotel — the location, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere were all excellent. However, the restaurant staff’s behavior and attention to detail should be improved to better reflect the standard of such a nice hotel.
I truly hope the management will take this feedback into consideration to enhance the guest experience even further. 🌿SOLD OUT

Very clean: cleaned everyday unless you ask them not to.
Staff: friendly and helpful
Room: spacious rooms, I had some specific requests and they were all fulfilled.
Check in: I had an early flight and they let me check in early.
Cons:
At night you can hear everything from the rooms next to you
The door: when someone’s knocks on the door next to your room it sounds as if they knocking at your door which can be very annoying at night when you sleeping especially if you’re a light sleeper like me.
The don’t have room service for anything: so you have to go downstairs everytime of you need an iron or want to borrow a beach towel. Not so bad just a little bit inconvenient.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations. The property is surely breathtaking. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. We had booked a round-trip airport transfer and was provided assistance when departing from Phuket Airport by the airport representative. Anton helped us get checked in to our airline and dropped off our luggage. This was a nice touch provided by the hotel. We booked a partial ocean view pavilion. The room was very clean and modern. The decor makes the room feel comfortable and each room has a private pool. Attention to detail is top notch and is what sets this hotel apart. Breakfast at Red Sauce was exceptional as there were plenty of food selections to choose from. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors during breakfast. Sitting outdoors will grant you a view of the pool. The dishes we ordered from the a la carte menu came out quick and everything we ordered was delicious. overall, it was an average experience—you get what you pay for right. The hotel offers the bare minimum in terms of comfort, but having access to the gym, sauna, swimming pool, and laundry facilities definitely made the stay more manageable.
The rooms are cheaply made, and sound insulation is practically nonexistent. Every single noise from the hallway is loud and disruptive, from people talking to doors opening and closing. This made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep, and I woke up exhausted every morning.
Another thing you’re only allowed two towels, and you have to bring them downstairs yourself to exchange them. The same goes for any other amenities you need; you have to go down to the front desk to request them. The pool area lacks didnt have soap in the bathrooms. They also do not provide washcloths, so be sure to bring your own.
The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. However, the cleaning staff was not as accommodating. When I asked for toilet paper, the cleaning lady was visibly irritated and slightly rude, which was surprising, as I had never encountered a Thai service worker with such a prickly disposition before.
On a positive note, I did enjoy being able to watch the sunrise from my room—it was a nice touch. However, the constant noise and lack of sleep made my stay far less enjoyable than I had hoped. If you're looking for a budget stay with basic amenities, this hotel might work, but don't expect much beyond that.

The gym is particularly impressive. The room ammenities is lacking of a useable hair dryer as the one provided is like a play hair dryer lacking power. And they should provide drinking water in a bottle thats sealed and not one that’s refillable as it made me wonder if the water is filtered or they just boil tap water. Beyond my expectations, Hotel is strategically located and offers easy access to many needs. There is Restaurants and Mini Markets just outside the Hotel plus 7-11 just across the Street. You can find anything and almost everything there. Do not expect the Pool to be of Lap sized, its ok. There is Patong Beach the whole stretch about 200-300meters from the Hotel. For Muslims, this is a place where you will find many selections available. The Self-serviced Laundry is very handy for those travelling light and for a lenghty stay. Within minutes you will be right at the heart of Patong. Jungcelon Shopping Mall and Central Patong is just 10minutes walk. Place is safe and lively. No hustles.

The staff is very friendly and polite, however, the wait time to get clean pool towels or just toilet paper or water can be very long. For example, our pool towels didn’t dry overnight due to humidity and we called reception to bring us new ones and took over one hour. They didn’t place any more toilet paper or water when they did the room in the morning, so the next morning, we had to call reception again to ask for them. It’s obviously not a big deal as the resort is super busy so we understand there’s lot for the stuff to do, but those are basic things that are expected, especially considering the price.
The buffet breakfast is ok, there’s lot of variety but the food is not exceptional, again, this is probably due to the mass production as the resort is super busy. Too many unsupervised kids, lounges too close to each other.

I booked this hotel mainly for my daughter’s birthday, drawn by the kids’ splash pool — but it was closed the entire week without any prior notice, explanation, or alternatives. This was a big letdown, as the pool was the main reason for choosing this hotel.
On arrival, the lobby felt temporary and cheap, but it didn’t affect our stay. Our first room had a strong smoke smell despite a non-smoking request, though we were later moved to another clean, spacious, and comfortable room.
Service and communication need improvement. The TV promoted spa services, but no one answered the phone. I went down personally, only to be sent to a closed spa. The service was eventually found in a guest room with just one masseur. Housekeeping was slow — an iron took over an hour — and room service also had long waits.
We requested birthday decorations (not fulfilled), though a birthday cake was provided. Staff were friendly overall, especially at the restaurant.

Room. Our stay at the 2 bedrm Club Suite was awesome! Next to Club Pakarang, we were just a few steps away from the infinity pool, gym, awesome view and daily happy hour. Room was clean and well kept too.
Breakfast. While breakfast at the main restaurant had an unbeatable spread, breakfast at clubhouse offered classy serving. We were pleasantly surprised with the offer of wild honey in addition to normal honey for our waffles, as well as cinnamon to go with our beverage.
Buggy service was nothing like some of the complaints we read. In fact, as we were staying by the clubhouse, buggies were often available even without our call.
Service. Above all, the Amari hospitality never fails! Service staff were always courteous, friendly and proactive. We were greeted even by staff who were going about their work or leaving the resort after their workday. While standing at the main entrance waiting for our taxi, they proactively directed us to seats and asked if they could help. These simple gestures go a long way to help us feel at ease and welcome.

1. **The steep slope at the hotel entrance**
Personally, I was completely fine with it. Even in flip-flops, it wasn't hard to walk, and I always took a motorbike right outside, so it didn't bother me at all.
(If you're traveling with elderly people or children, I recommend taking a taxi for convenience.)
2. **Are Chinese guests treated differently?**
Absolutely not. The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were incredibly patient. They proactively asked if I wanted to store my luggage and offered towels so I could relax by the pool while waiting.
(Even if you don't speak English, you can rest assured. Even if you do speak English, they'll communicate with you in Chinese, and their explanations are very clear, so there are no communication difficulties.)
3. **Compared to other hotels with more prime locations, the geographical advantage here is slightly weaker.** However, the interior is very new, the water pressure from the taps is excellent, and the hot water doesn't cut out. It's also very quiet at night, so I got a great rest.
All in all, I had a very satisfying holiday here, and I hope this helps anyone planning to visit!

The pool is fantastic, and the bartender at the poolside bar is great – their Mai Tais and Piña Coladas are incredibly delicious. It's also very close to the beach, which wasn't crowded at all. I enjoyed everything and would happily return.
The only downside I found was that the towels were a bit worn and faded. I couldn't find any other negatives.

There is a veranda, it is nice to sit in the evening. Small and clean hotel, friendly staff. The location is good, the beach is 5-7 minutes away. You need to go straight, through a small vacant lot behind the gate, this is the fastest way. In general, the beach and the place are very quiet, ideal with children, there are almost no waves, the cafes on the beach are good, there is a tops supermarket and a laundry nearby.

|18.2km from city centerWe had the best experience staying at Avista Grande Phuket Karon! Situated on top of a low hill, the resort has an amazing view of the Andaman Sea. It's also conveniently just a short walk to Karon beach and to Kata town center. The room we stayed in had a beautiful modern design and had access to a private pool. The hotel also offered a wide variety of food selections for breakfast. However, it was the hotel staff who really made our stay worthwhile. We'd like to especially mention some of the wonderful people who made our stay enjoyable.
Cartoon, Sunil - who were always attentive and friendly during breakfast.
Tut- who always kept our room
clean and tidy and who gave us this pretty note and souvenir.
Milk- who personally escorted us to our room on our first day and continued to assist us throughout our stay. Her smile alone brightened our days!

Located in the Laguna villa area, the courtyard with Tibetan wind, the daily carefully maintained view, the floor-to-ceiling windows on the whole wall scatter the morning sun into the room, the oysters on the tatami mats and the small table brought me back to the room after my daily play to bring peace. The most amazing thing is that there are no mosquitoes in this hotel and the powerful positive energy is amazing. (If you get stung a few bags on the noisy patong beach, you know what I'm talking about)
Of course, the most important thing is what kind of person you can meet. The shy little girl who delivers breakfast every day, the neat and thoughtful beauty manager, the hotel offers the perfect Thai antique massage (a combination of skill, strength, experience and focus). The morning of the last day, because my boarding time was very early, and the night before, I was still enjoying the sunset at the beach and didn't want to go back early. The Thai guy who contacted the hotel through the hotel came to the hotel to help me with the return of the car at 6 o'clock in the morning.
Looking forward to enjoying the time here next time I go to Phuket, I will definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Phuket.

The highlight is that there are sea activities available for an additional fee (irregular and subject to weather conditions). Friendly staff and good facilities. The location is excellent: it's near the main street, grab and take out is barrier-free (the driver won't be able to find it), there are supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, massage parlors, restaurants and bars nearby, the airport bus station is a ten-minute walk away, and the beach is a five-minute drive away.
The disadvantage is that it is really a bit expensive, but whether it is worth it is a matter of opinion.

While the hotel isn’t within walking distance to the beach, they do offer a free shuttle service to Patong Beach which was super convenient. If you’re heading out at other times, a Bolt ride costs around 200 THB by car or just 64 THB by bike, which isn’t bad if you’re okay spending a bit on transportation.
Overall, this hotel is a great escape from the hustle and bustle—quiet, relaxing, and perfect if you want some peace without being too far from the nightlife and energy of Patong. I’d definitely recommend it for those looking for a little balance between serenity and city vibes.

The room, including the balcony, is over 80 sqm, but the sun loungers on the balcony couldn't be used as it had just rained. There are two restaurants, Cosmo and Rock Salt. Cosmo handles breakfast, but the food isn't as good as Mama Seafood outside, and it's ridiculously expensive. We didn't try Rock Salt as it's about 300 per person.
Cleanliness: Relatively clean.
Environment: When the weather is good, the sea view is picturesque. It's just a short walk to the beach, and the water is crystal clear blue.
Service: They did seem to intentionally assign us a corner room, claiming the hotel was full. After we reported it, they changed our room first thing the next morning. Other services were all okay.

I went to Muai Thai boxing class and really enjoyed it. There is panoramic view gym and great breakfasts! The staff is also very kind and supportive. I would say it’s one of the best hotels in Bangtao beach😍
Highly recommend to take the room with the pool access. Also there is a coop restaurant Nora which belongs to the hotel. Try lobster ravioli there, I loved it for 100%.
There are many deck chairs on the beach, so you don’t need to worry and come early to occupy in advance.

I didn’t find the room to be very well maintained but the staff were very accommodating and changed my room to another one that was closer to the seaside. The remainder of my stay was definitely comfortable. In terms of the location, it is more down south towards the east end of phuket and very close to rawai beach as well as ya noi beach.

We were in what they call deluxe sea view room.
There is also rooms overlooking the lagoon pool.
The room is big with a nice big king size bed, it comes with a TV but the TV channels are not very good and also the reception was poor some interference on the TV.
The bathroom has a bath/shower some may like this or would like just a shower if your a bit uncomfortable about getting out of the bath each time.
The breakfast was a very good choice me and the Thai wife thought, although I stuck to toast with sliced ham and fried eggs, but there was 6 or 7 types of food to eat as in the attached photos.
The lagoon pool is nice and it's got a bar with seats in the pool, there was buy 1 get 1 50% off on cocktails after 4 till 7 when we were there.
Overhaul it was a very pleasant stay at the hotel and I would recommend it to my friends

But.. we had some hair on our pillow when we arrived. It seems the pillow covers hadn't been changed, and the bathtub in the middle of the room was dirty. The hotel was not cheap, so I think the mini bar should be free. Apart from that, this is still a very nice place to be.

|9.51km from city centerWe really enjoyed our stay. The resort has begun using an app service to provide timely and specific service to guests. We used it from booking shuttles to the beach or grocery store, ordering a buggy to take us to reception, ordering room service, scheduling housekeeping, and even a request to bring some salt after we ran out. The resort is perfect for a prolonged stay. The mini kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. The hotel provided pretty much unlimited bottled water. The private pool was clean, the jacuzzi was lovely. The TV had access to Netflix and YouTube.
Service was truly excellent and the individuals at reception were always willing to call us a taxi or prepared to help us with our needs. The shuttle driver took us to the laundromat and also waited for us one day while we were late getting food.
The hotel massage service was expensive in terms of quality, so I recommend trying out the places on Kamala Beach or elsewhere.
I would recommend eating breakfast locally as the food you can get outside the resort is relatively cheap and tasty.
The ways Tantawan could improve 1) increase water pressure for the showers, 2) provide trash bins for the living room and bedroom, 3) provide a yummier (as worded by my wife) breakfast
I would definitely stay again in the future!

My room had its own toilet and bath, aircon and a comfy bed which is basically what i needed. Easy check in and check out. The owner was also kind enough when i asked to check out at 12:30 instead of 12. I appreciate their kindness! Plus, Its near Nayang beach where u can see airplanes along the beach. Super near good restaurants and a lot of nearby 7/11! I highly recommend it if u need a place to stay near Phuket airport. Would love to stay there again :)
