I highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Lijiang. First, the sanitation is excellent. The housekeeping staff will wait for you to leave and clean the room without disturbing your belongings. The basic facilities are complete, all new and clean. There's plenty of hot water (the hot water wasn't very hot when I booked a hotel in Dali a few days ago). The front desk clerk was also very friendly and even helped us carry our luggage to the third floor. It's very convenient for transportation, right on the street, just a few hundred meters from Lijiang Old Town. I especially recommend this B&B for those heading to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, as it's a short walk to the bus stop and takes you directly to the mountain via bus 101, which is super convenient and time-saving. It's also very close to Lijiang Station! Staying on the street is the most convenient and hassle-free! Unlike B&Bs in the Old Town, which have many gravel paths, dragging your suitcases around can be a real hassle! Overall, this is a fantastic value. I can't find any negatives, hahaha. The hotel service is so good! (I'm really sorry if you're still hesitant about booking with my review!) It was a pleasant stay. This is my first time reviewing because it's worth it.

I have booked a B&B for a long time as a travel guide. It is really better than I imagined. First of all, the room is very clean and comfortable. The location is also very close to the ancient city. There are free flower cakes in the room and in the lobby on the first floor. Free coffee, tea, and big pomegranates! The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic. When they have nothing to do in the evening, they sit in front of the door and eat pomegranates, eat melon seeds and drink tea with the boss and his wife. It is very comfortable. We also eat the local authentic boiled bait cubes cooked by the handsome boss. It is so delicious. Now, I don’t feel like I’m staying in a B&B, it feels like I’m staying at my friend’s house! Later, I extended my stay for one more day😄. All in all, it was a perfect score💯. If I have the opportunity to come to Lijiang next time, I will stay in this B&B again. I wish the boss and wife can achieve their small goals as soon as possible!

設施：比較齊全，該有的都有，需要什麼直接跟老闆説即可。 衞生：乾淨整潔，剛裝修剛開業，環境很好。 服務：老闆是個退休的老中醫，非常熱情，還邀請我喝茶，老闆娘也一直做旅遊好多年，可以找她推薦吃的玩的。老闆説他退休前臨床坐診，感覺應該是名聲在外，所以遇到了幾位慕名來看病的人，也住在這裏。我説經常失眠而且頸椎不好，老闆爽快地表示可以給我調一調，找到我肩背部的幾個不通的穴位重點按了按，痛但是有效果，神奇！ 另外我要誇一夸麗江，旅遊體驗很好，古城很漂亮，雪山很壯麗，我是自由行一路下來基本沒坑，本地所有人無論是司機、攤販還是景區裏的工作人員都很和善。自認為也算行過萬里路，麗江是為數不多我還想再來玩的地方。唯一的不足是旅遊旺季不好打車，尤其是去高鐵站的網約車最難打，運力不足加上有管控，着急可招手攔路上的7座藍車。

The room was really special. I originally booked a place in the ancient city, but the room was quite small and cold, and I couldn't even shower, so I immediately changed accommodations. The rooms at Yu Jian Guesthouse are spacious, with a wet and dry separation, and are exceptionally clean. The best part is having an elevator, so no need to lug luggage around! The lady at the front desk was also incredibly enthusiastic and even helped me arrange a car to Dali, and the driver was very reliable. There's also a small terrace on the fourth floor that's great for photos. I forgot to take photos of the hotel itself, only the terrace.

The location is definitely a bonus – it's super convenient to get everywhere. It's very close to the South Gate of the Ancient City and Zhongyi Night Market, just a few minutes' walk. You can also take the 101 bus directly to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. We booked a courtyard twin room for our two children, and having a private courtyard made our stay very comfortable. Thumbs up! 👍🏻

The air conditioning was very powerful and cooled down in a few seconds. It was very comfortable. The water pressure was very high and the shower was very refreshing. We had originally booked for 2 people to stay in the queen budget room but when we arrived the host informed us that it would be too cold to stay in that room because the electric blanket only covered half the bed. We were a bit confused because we had booked a room for two people but were being told it was only suitable for one. She ended up upgrading us for free to a really big bed which was really nice of her and it was very warm, even without the AC heater because the electric blanket was really good. We were also able to do our washing for free which was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay but maybe don't book the budget room in winter for 2 people because it will be too cold.

哇。真是个了不起的老板。 all i can say is that the boss (the host) went above and beyond. he really went out of his way to help me, being that i’m a solo traveler and came last minute to china with practically no language skills. we still understood each other! he helped me figure out how to visit lughu lake and shaxi within my budget. he also let me leave my bag there for a night. not to mention it was a very comfortable bed so i rested well! i recommend tai yu residence 100%! thank you boss!

Staying in the warmth of Lijiang, this guesthouse was the best surprise of our trip. During our two days and two nights in Lijiang, the luckiest thing was choosing the right guesthouse. From the moment we arrived at the entrance of the ancient town, the owner came trotting briskly to pick us up, smiling and saying, ”The cobblestone roads in the ancient town aren't good for rolling suitcases, let me help you carry them.” Those words instantly swept away all the travel fatigue. Even more delightful was opening the guesthouse door. Moss peeked out from between the bluestones, and under a vine trellis sat a set of raw wood tea tables. Sunlight filtered through the leaves onto the table, and the air carried a faint scent of tea. Just as we put down our luggage and started to rest, the owner brought over a set of white porcelain tea ware, saying, ”Try our Dianhong tea, it'll help you unwind.” The tea was mellow and warm with a hint of honey. As we sipped, we listened to him share stories of Lijiang – where to catch the best sunrise photos, which local cured pork rib restaurant wouldn't overcharge, and even detailed advice like avoiding a certain alley that gets congested in the afternoon. All of it was heartfelt, practical advice. Our stay here was incredibly comfortable. Even before leaving, and without even needing that last cup of tea, just recalling the warmth of this guesthouse and the owner's kind and sincere smile made me start to miss our time in Lijiang. If I ever come back, I'll definitely choose this place again, because good accommodation is never just a bed; it's the most thoughtful companionship on a journey.

The weather in Lijiang is absolutely perfect; I never wanted to leave! It was so pleasant chatting with the owner, and I really admired their carefree and natural way of life. Lijiang is definitely a place I'll return to. Mitu Inn is newly renovated with excellent facilities.
