I was visiting a family for a few days and they put us up here. Ok, the location is very good: wonderful restaurants, lots of shops, etc., in the area. I lived in Montreal for 15 years, so when I visit now I'd probably prefer a quieter place less interested in selling us all on Montreal's uniqueness. Been there, done that. If you want a nice, romantic, stay at a Bed and Breakfast in the heart of a very interesting area of Montreal, this is it. Our host wasn't annoying, in fact he was helpful. The rooms had character and were clear and quiet. We also shared a bathroom with an adjoining room, which was fine. The breakfast was well-prepared (although I only had eggs and a bit of yogurt. Even so, there were better choices). If you stay in Montreal for more than say 3 nights, then I'd go elsewhere. The charm of this place is real, but probably fleeting over the long-term.

What a perfect place to stay! Came up from the States for a weekend visit with friends without any expectations since we just found this place from a Google search, but it was an absolutely perfect fit for us. The receptionist was very friendly and explained everything clearly, as well as giving us directions to cheap parking. The dorm room was neat and the decor everywhere was charming. The rooftop terrace especially was a lovely place to sit out in the evening. In the morning the communal breakfast felt lively but not too loud and the coffee was delicious. For the location and the price, all of us would absolutely return.

The rates for the suites at Milton-Parc were very reasonable compared to hotels in Montreal. In addition, the rooms were over 700 square feet along with a kitchen which is hard to find in downtown Montreal. However, after we booked we were a little thrown off by “the homeless” comments. Being from a big city, homeless people, unfortunately are a part of life. ARRIVAL We arrived very late at night and I was a little apprehensive about walking from the train station to the hotel (only about 20 mins by foot) but we didn’t have any issues with anybody, there was not a person in sight. When we got to the hotel we followed the instructions given and we got to our suite (203). We realized then we didn’t have a code to our room (we had codes to the doors). We tried several times without any luck and we had to call the main line. Someone answered, we told them our issue and they sent us a code in 15 minutes. SUITE We had 203 (with the yellow ceilings in the photos). It was very spacious but they could do better with it being more efficient. The bathroom was large with two sinks and a two showers (in one stall). The bedroom was on a platform with “cubicle” walls. Not really an issue since most basic hotel rooms everything is on in a single room. There were two large closets with hangers (foyer and bedroom). There were two TVs, a spacious kitchen with the basics (salt, pepper and oil) and a little living area. One thing I did not like were the ugly vinyl floors. They had a pattern of water splatters and it looked like the floor was always wet. “The Homeless” The next few days we noticed that there were a lot of homeless people around (although this is seen everywhere in any big city). The few interactions we had a simple, “No, I don’t have any change on me”, and they left us alone. Nobody was aggressive to people (although I did see them rush out to cars). The area had a couple of 24 hour places so there was always plenty of people around. LOCATION The location was unbeatable, it was easy to get around and we were within a 30 min walk to almost everywhere. The closest subway station was place des arts and that was about a 10 minute walk. There were tons of restaurants and at least 2 within a minute were 24 hours. Cross onto a couple of blocks and you’re in a very trendy areas with tons of restaurants, bars and even clubs. OVERALL There were some little things that could be improved upon but overall, we were very pleased with our stay here. Location is wonderful and price point was amazing.

Facilities: The facilities are basically complete, with bathroom supplies, hairdryers, water cups, tableware, coffee machines, and toasters in the public areas. The only regret is that slippers are not provided. Cleanliness: The cleanliness inside the room, corridors and public areas is very good. Environment: The housing environment is great, the layout of the room is warm and comfortable, the house is located in a residential area, and the scenery after snow is very beautiful! ! (Look at the picture😄) The room is very close to the subway. You can enter the subway in about two minutes' walk. The transportation is very convenient. One disadvantage is that since the rooms are made of wood, the sound insulation is very poor. You can hear clearly any movement next door and upstairs and downstairs. Service: I didn't see the owner during the entire check-in and check-out process. He only took the key from the combination lock. It was not very adaptable at first, and because I didn’t receive the room password, I had to call the host to confirm. If I need to ask any questions, I basically call them by phone (not very friendly to friends who are not good at English). But after getting used to it later, I felt that this was pretty good. There was no need to wait or socialize (I was very happy😄). This is a matter of opinion.

Stayed in a 10-bed dorm at M Montreal for the F1 race. So my experience during an incredibly busy weekend might not be the norm. Overall, I had a good stay. Details below. The Good: - Location. It's really fantastic from the airport, to the race track (for me), buses, metro and a Bixi bike station half a block away - Grocery store and pharmacy half a block away too, so convenient. - Kitchen in-house is large and well stocked. But fridge and shelf space is tight so FYI there. - Workroom for remote staff is large but not super equipped as a workspace with outlets. But a nice space and quieter than the kitchen - My dorm was a private room converted into a dorm so we had a bathroom in the room and small kitchen (but with no supplies). Having the sink and fridge was really helpful while staying there. - Privacy curtains and plugs in the bed are great and the locker below is large and works for most bags and extras. - Wifi was solid the entire time, even when doing video and audio calls. Stronger in some parts than others but still good. Items to be aware of: - Neighborhood. It's fine but not great. Lots of unsheltered and unsheltered with mental health issues on the street at all hours screaming and making noise. Police presence around there was constant while I was staying. - Courtyard noise. On weekends it can get loud in that courtyard at all hours. - The mattresses are better than I expected based on other reviews, but they are not great. After 7 days my back was absolutely killing me. I truly don't get why they don't have something with better support but if you're staying for 2-3 days, you're good, longer, be aware. Overall, I would stay again but not for a long visit. The mattresses are that awful. There were still a lot of good points of the hostel though so I would recommend it to others. - Water pressure in shower is awful, but functional.

Very nice location, friendly and helpful staff!! Free breakfast is great, delicious coffee and bagels. But there are not enough toilets. And the kitchen is quite small so it gets very crowded during dinner hours (plus people like chatting in the kitchen while watching a pot of water boiling). I didn't want to line up to use the stove or microwave to reheat my food so I had raw dinner during my stay. If you plan your meals and cooking well enough you should be fine.

One shower and one toilet were shared. The inside of the capsule is clean. It was late at night, so I didn't meet many people, so I didn't have time to take a shower, but if I did, I would have to wait a long time. Also, there was no one at the entrance, so I called the staff to check in, but I didn't know how to check out, so I left the key. It's a walk from the bus stop, so if you have a lot of luggage, it might be difficult on slopes and stairs.

I wanted to give you an exhaustive review so that you can make up your own mind about this place. Note that I spent a week in this place, in low season, mid-September. I had no trouble booking or checking in when I arrived, but the €100 deposit, which must be paid by CREDIT card, is not mentioned anywhere else. The shared accommodation is very spacious and modern. However, they are too small for the capacity of the accommodation, in my opinion. The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. The pod-style rooms are decent, with the option of storing your precious belongings in locked lockers. But expect to be woken up several times a night. As far as cleanliness is concerned, nothing particularly shocked me. It's true that two bathrooms shared by so many people is not practical, but getting up early gives you peace of mind. The bathrooms are cleaned daily by staff. The rooftop is particularly pleasant, in a modern coocooning style, but the jacuzzi does not work. The rooftop offers a nice view of Mount Royal.

We chose this hotel to spend a romantic weekend, but our experience was terrible, both during our stay until the company's answer when we contacted them. 1) First, the apartment is far from being soundless. We could hear the cry of the demonstration on the day on Sainte-Catherine, the claxons and the speed noises on the evening of the cars around, The low music from apartments around the day and evening, as well as the more lively laughter and discussions of users from nearby apartments. We were wake up every morning by crying from the outside or from the noise of Bass from the apartments around 8h30-9h00 in the morning. When mentioned to the company, they simply told us that we should have contacted them about this, In addition, they simply indicated that it is mentioned in the booking emails that users should not create noise damage last 23:00 or have guests during the pandemic, The hotel is located in a block of apartments. You will find no one who works for the company, whether it's a security agent, a receptionist or even a household staff. We are really concerned with the security aspect if necessary. We would have thought they would have at least assured the presence of a person on the ground in case of problem, and not the promise of sending someone, if necessary. At this stage, also contacted directly the police station if you feel The need. 3) You will find no one who carries the mask in public areas, which is rarely the case. During our stay, we have crossed people who did not carry the mask in the corridors, The lifts or the entrance, despite the presence of a poster requesting it. A disinfectant poster is present, but only once passed the lobby and hidden in the beginning of a corridor, without clear indication of its presence. At this level, the company defends itself by indicating that there is a poster requesting the mask in the lift, no more. 4) You will find in the loft a poster with a number to contact if necessary, but no means to do so. The loft does not include telephone to contact the owners or intercom to contact the lobby or a security agent (which is, in any case, absent). We were looking forward to our three night stay at Campus1 Montreal while we toured downtown with our kids. We checked in the first afternoon, but by the evening, the tickle in my throat had become a cough with a runny nose. By the morning we thought we should shorten our trip so asked about reducing our stay by one night - well ahead of the 24 hours notice that seemed to be the only thing required (we looked at the cancellation policy before we left). We were told that we would still have to pay for the final night even if we gave notice and checked out in the morning after our second night - because we were already checked in. Apparently you can't reduce your stay after you check in. We left early anyway because it seemed I was getting more ill and masking with a very runny nose is uncomfortable and difficult. On the plus side, the room was clean. The included breakfasts were good - basic, but a large selection. On the negative side, the towels were very small and thin. The mattresses were those vinyl jobs that while easy to keep clean are NOT comfortable at all. An extra mattress pad or blanket over the mattress itself could solve this. If you intend to use the common communal kitchen for any other meals, be aware that there are no pots, dishes, utensils, or dish soap of any kind. If you stay here, bring your own bedding, towels, and if you want to cook - bring your own kitchen items. Checkout on the second morning took a long time. There was a long line up and the staff seemed overwhelmed / unprepared. I overheard one staff member say to a customer, ”I don't know - I'm not even from this province.” I'd say they had a staff shortage problem - which seems to be common right now. Overall, I don't think this room was worth the per night money we spent on it and much less so because we had to pay for a night we couldn't use. We could have found something better for less money. We will not be staying here again.
