The apartment is lovely and out daughters really enjoyed the bunk beds. the garden patio is a great place to eat lunch!! Most of all, I really want to thank Andrea throughout our attempts to get to Verona. I feel like he is an old friend now! He is a lovely host who makes you feel like you are in your own home! Great wifi! I definitely recommend these apartments!!!

The room is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, very confortable bed, the room is very quiet. The bonus is the fabulous hosts, from the very beginning to the end, friendliness, and information and tips on places to visit and eat. We felt very much at home, Massimo and his wife and their lovely son are the nicest people. We were so impressed with this place that we will be booking all the rooms for ourselves and friends for the Opera at the Arena 2020. Cannot find fault with B and B Cangrande, it really is perfect!

The location is wonderful, the scenery is fantastic, and the service was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helped us out with transportation and other reservations. The breakfasts and other meals were well prepared and very delicious. We will definitely stay here again on on next trip. I will happily recommend our friends and family to stay here.

|0.69km from city centerWe spend one evening in Verona and had a lovely stay at Le Suite di Giulietta. The room is spacious, comfortable and has a nice sized with all amenities bathroom. The location is unbeatable, just off of Pizza delle Erbe and you can actually see the balcony of Giulietta from your own balcony! The host is lovely, very responsive and helpful. Due to covid we couldn't have breakfast in the common area so they gave us a complimentary voucher for a delicious bakery just down the road. Very recommended!

The street itself where the hotel is located feels a bit dark and run down though. The rooms are spacious but sp****ly furnished. A breakfast is provided but due to covid-restrictions only provided at a small table. Some youghurt but mostly sweets. There is no toilet in the rooms but they are outside, although private. I have seen many positive reviews before this one commenting the manager and I can somewhat agree. Our experience is both positive and negative. Please be aware that you have to organize check-in with the owner beforehand. There is no sign to show this B&B and it has no reception.

|0.72km from city centerThese apartments in p. dei signori are in a building in very central Verona in one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. The apartments are modern, extremely well supplied with a kitchen/lounge as well as bedroom, (they vary in size and design), and fully serviced in that towels etc are changed daily, beds made (though not changed), and provided with ample plates, cutlery, etc as well as soap and shampoo for the very good shower. Storage space was more than ample, and there is a fridge, safe, and hot drink and expresso machine as well as cooking facilities. The front desk is manned 24/7 and very helpful. Prices are very high but not unlike top class hotels in a similar location, and there are innumerable places to get breakfast no further away than a restaurant would be in a large hotel. The lights and window blinds were very good indeed, though the controls were a challenge. Air-con and wifi both work very well. Apartments facing inward onto the square cost more, though we had one ‘at the back’ which was fine.The square is of course traffic-free, but it is possible to get a taxi to just outside the square, and the front desk can phone for one to pick up from the same spot (the rail station is rather too far to walk, especially with luggage).

|0.39km from city centerMy wife, daughter and I stayed at Relais Empire for two-nights while on a road trip across northern Italy. This small hotel is arranged over the first and second floors (there is a lift) of a old town building adjacent the main street to, and just a short walk from, Piazza Brà (and the colosseum). The building facade is currently being restored which did not affect our stay, but currently makes accessing the hotel entrance a challenge with the intercom to 'buzz' reception on the first floor to open the entrance door and with the intercom obscured by scaffolding/boarding. This issue aside, we experienced no noise or disturbance from the building work at all. The hotel's interior decor is lovely (very Italianate), the rooms/bathrooms are a generous size and very clean, the beds are comfortable, and despite our rooms facing onto a main road close to the touristic centre, the hotel was exceptionally quiet at all times. Breakfast was superb with a generous mix of hot/cold breakfasty food and beverages, and the small team of staff at the hotel were attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. A note of caution if you are travelling by car; parking is a short walk from the hotel in a compound with individual private and locked underground garages, and consequently very safe. The cautionary is note is because on arrival, you will need to temporarily leave your car parked on the street (or as I had to because there were no on-street parking spaces near the hotel at the time we arrived, on the pavement) and check-in with reception before transferring your bags into the hotel and then being shown to the garages (the receptionist will jump in your car with you to guide the way and show you how to access the garages). However, on departing the hotel, I was able to park on the street right outside the hotel to transfer our bags back to the car which was much less of a faff. If you are arriving on foot or by taxi, you can ignore this cautionary note! Should you stay here, we recommend dining at a nearby restaurant recommended by the hotel's receptionist, 'Osteria Casa Vino' (also reviewed) - it was outstanding. We dined their twice during our two night stay. In summary; a small and slightly quirky hotel, attractive once inside, clean and quite, with nice rooms/bathrooms, excellent breakfast, great staff and close to the centre of the attractions.

|0.32km from city centerWe visited this hotel for the 4th or 5th time, we always were satisfied. But something had changed, we do not know why. Our welcome was fine, a bottle of prosecco waiting for us, just missing the cookies we had last year. We ordered the breakfast which is served on your room, and it was delivered next morning just in time. The scrambled eggs were nearly cold. In the afternoon coming back from town we missed new cleaned glasses, the used ones were not replaced, same with empty shower gel, we had to ask for nearly everything. The rest was okay, but nobody asked for our satisfaction at any time, even the departure. In the room we also had the impression that there’s the necessity for some renovation, even at some walls and the fridge with its door not closing properly. Being honest, we spent around 500 € (!) per day for b&b here! So this time we left Verona and the hotel not knowing whether we would come back in future.

|0.36km from city centerTerrible. Dirty, a curtain in the middle of the room that the host keeps various objects and utensils behind, as well as cloths and towels that looked dirty. A sadness. I booked through booking and in the end I did the evaluation that booking recommended. I rated it with a seven and gave feedback about different treatment between guests, as the host provides two addresses. As incredible as it may seem, he started attacking me through the booking chat. Cursing me and offending my family. And I hadn't even criticized the fact that it was dirty. Only in relation to different treatment between guests. On this trip I stayed in ten different accommodations. No one else treated me badly. Just this one. When we arrived he had left the apartment key in an envelope with a message that we should leave 2.5 euros per person per night in that same envelope and if we didn't leave it he would call the police. The message is ridiculous because there is a tourist tax in every city in Italy and none of the establishments were rude to that point. All in all, bad experience. A rude, rude host without the slightest emotional capacity to maintain customer service. I don't recommend this place to anyone. There are many, many, many other accommodations in even better located locations at similar prices where the guest does not need to be upset and stressed due to the rudeness, treatment of the host or the dirtiness of the place.

For the rest, if my only chance of going to Verona was staying in this hotel, I would choose not to go. You cannot be comfortable knowing the dirt that surrounds you: walls, bathroom, headboard where the pillow rests... disgusting. Shared areas (kitchen and terrace) the same, not usable. We also needed late checkout in the middle of a heat wave, knowing that the next guest doesn't come in until 3:00 p.m., that they don't need time to clean (since they don't) and that it was Tuesday (I don't know if many tourists will arrive on Tuesday in time on the weekend), we were not given an answer, from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm on the street at almost 40 degrees without even giving us the option of paying a supplement.

|0.3km from city centerHad 3 nights here in June, the room was on the smallish size, but the location, price, breakfast included, proper coffee, tea and snacks free all day made up for that plus there was a communal room and a balcony where we had breakfast. Fifteen minutes from the train station and two minutes to the arena and old town, on the main road and easy to find. Special mention for Adriano the owner, so helpful and friendly, gave us tips for restaurants and things to see and do. Cannot recommend this enough.

La camera era molto bella, proprio come ce la si aspettava, pulita e con ogni servizio utile. La signorina che ci ha accolto molto brava e cordiale non ci ha fatto mancare nulla, dalla colazione a spiegazioni e consigli vari a semplici chiacchierate. È stato un soggiorno coi fiocchi. Un consiglio per chi soggiorna a Verona, a prescindere dall'hotel, è quello di valutare l'idea di non usare la macchina: i parcheggi purtroppo sono molto molto cari!

|1.76km from city centerThis was a fantastic B&B with lovely terrace and gardens. Our room was very tastefully decorated with high quality fittings and exceptionally clean. Our hosts were very welcoming and extremely helpful and attentive. Our breakfasts were a delight with cakes freshly baked by our host and with homemade jams. Our room looked across the city and although we did not require parking plenty of free parking was available. The B&B is only 20 mins walk into the centre, although a steep hill down, we always used a taxi to return. This is a lovely home which we were privileged to use for our stay. No hesitation in recommending to anyone.

Though there is no breakfast but there is a coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave, coffee capsules, tea bags. So you can make your own breakfast. And the PAM supermarket is right at the entrance to the territory where the building is located. The check-in is effected without the need for the owner to be present. The codes for access are provided and in the room there is a set of keys. And Antonio also provides an access via your cellular. Antonio is a very caring host, doing his best for his guests. I greatly enjoyed my stay there and next time when I come to Verona I will definitely stay there. Antonio grazie mille!

There is really everything like at home, even the coffee machine with the diffuser, the phone with the diffuser and the washing machine capsules. Compliments for detail care. The owner is very gentle and available. The hotel is very quiet, and it is easy to reach both the highways of communication and the centre of Verona.

|0.47km from city centerThe real plus of this structure is certainly the location, very close to the center in a strategic position to reach a great deal of the city's tourist/cultural attractions. Cute and available staff, even in booking phase, will be ready to solve any problem (such as the car park, too big in our case for the narrow spaces available). The elegant, modern sobria room was a pleasure. Breakfast, if requested, is brought to the room, it is a nice idea, unfortunately no typical product, Italian breakfast, it would be nice to choose but probably the structure is not organized for that purpose, however, it is a sin. The figure about €200,00 per night is not small but competitive compared to other structures in similar positions. I would like to recommend more care for some details (shoe sofa, shower corner ... ) However satisfied.

|0.73km from city centerWe stayed in this hotel because we attended Nick Cave's concert at the Arena of Verona and so we found him comfortable for the location, which is one of his few positive aspects. I start by saying that when we arrived and played the clock, the owner came very dry from our presence. We saw the room, quite comfortable, but the bath was a disaster: the water was sometimes making strange noises, the shower door was broken, and the wall seemed made of carton. Finally, we were waiting for breakfast (including in the booking) in the morning but we found that it would never arrive. I have to say that for 50 euros per head it is better. I don't recommend.

The room was more like a suite, the bed was comfortable, it had good views, and the location was superb - just outside the main center but not on top of it, near some excellent bars, restaurants and interesting shops, opposite some of the best views of the city. We also want to mention Ivano was excellent. He accommodated my special dietry needs beyond expectations, and then went out of his way to help us when we had a health issue there (unrelated to our stay of course!). This was the final stay of a three legged honeymoon and it was our favourite by far - Verona is now one of our favourite cities and we wouldnt be able to find a better place to stay

|6.58km from city centerThis far exceeded our expectations even though had been highly recommended by a friend. The setting is idyllic, a peaceful antidote to a busy city break visiting Verona. We spent 5 nights here and didn't want to leave. Some reviewers have criticised the remoteness of the location, but we specifically wanted the quiet. You either need to hire a car; you've then got the hassle of parking or spend a similar amount on taxis, as we did. I rarely sleep well on holiday due to the beds; I've never slept so well - adjustable beds and stay cool memory matresses. Last but not least, you will not come across more hospitable hosts in Ghandi and Paola, nothing was too much trouble.
