My recent stay at Huazhu Guixin Courtyard Guesthouse was absolutely exceptional – it truly felt like a heartwarming haven during my trip! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, proactively helping with my luggage. Check-in was efficient and patient, and they thoughtfully invited me to add their WeChat for a concierge service – this deserves special praise! Any request via WeChat received an instant response; whether I needed directions or to borrow a small item, everything was arranged perfectly, with care as if I were family. The room itself was an even greater surprise – spacious and comfortable, elegantly and warmly decorated, it didn't feel cramped at all. Crucially, the price was very affordable, offering such fantastic value for money that it made me wish I could extend my stay. Breakfast was also excellent; while the selection wasn't overly elaborate, every dish was substantial and tasted like home-cooked goodness. I started my day feeling full and completely satisfied. The large terrace on the third floor truly felt like a 'secret garden,' with various flowers blooming vibrantly. Spending an evening here, enjoying the breeze and the view, made all the travel fatigue melt away instantly. It also offered a fantastic ambiance for photos. What touched me most was that when I left, the owner specially gave me Yuhua tea, a Nanjing specialty, as a parting gift. This thoughtful gesture truly warmed my heart! The first night we stayed in a 1.5-meter windowless double room, which was clean and tidy with excellent soundproofing. However, my partner suddenly wanted to watch a movie that evening, and the windowless room didn't have a projector. I chose this B&B with great care, and I was truly not disappointed. The layout is well-organized, the design is warm, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. We headed straight to the B&B after getting off the high-speed train that day. Check-in is usually at 2 PM, but fortunately, there was a freshly cleaned and vacant room available when we arrived. The owner was incredibly helpful and helpful, offering helpful tips on nearby attractions and restaurants. He even sent them to me in case I'd forgotten. It truly made me feel right at home. I was truly fortunate to find such a cost-effective, clean, and well-serviced B&B during peak tourist season. Not only was the interior warm and tidy, but the exterior was also very pleasant, with a washing machine, branded laundry detergent, a drying area, and bookshelves filled with classic books. This owner certainly impressed me with his discerning taste. I booked two consecutive days because this B&B truly gave me the feeling of excellent value. When I finally left, the hostess said she was happy to meet us and that we were very polite customers. She also welcomed us back on our next trip to Nanjing. So, if you're considering a trip, this one in Xinjiekou is a good choice. It's less than 500 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient for travel.
