The parking is ample and the rooms are really clean.

what an amazing stay! i have spent 1 night and got an anniversary set up in the room which is very cute. the room size is the big benefit of the hotel not including game rooms, nice swimming pool and other services i have received during my stay. the breakfast offers you an international dishes whether Thai, Japanese or Western. Stayed for 5 nights at Kawana Hotel. A mixed experience. Good points. The room is large. Has huge glass windows along the back wall, giving a modern and light feeling. So, first impressions were good. Fresh towels daily. 2x water. Room clean if required. Reception was helpful. No English, but the staff are happy to translate with the phone.
Negatives, the hotel is run down and needs maintenance and repair, and a really deep clean.
Motorbike taxi to the beach cost around 35B, possible to walk around 4 km. Great street food at Star night market. Also, a lovely restaurant right behind the hotel , positioned around a lake, great ambience.FromTWD 411

We were a large group and booked late, so there weren't many options available, and I didn't have high expectations for this hotel. However, the experience was still very poor.
The hotel's check-in policy wasn't very clear; I couldn't figure out if children staying required an extra charge. So, we just booked five rooms for two nights.
My room was on the second floor and had no hot water, so I had to shower in other rooms. Even then, the water in those rooms wasn't very stable, fluctuating between strong and weak, and hot and cold.
The most troublesome issue was insect bites. There were ants on the bed. Although the staff sprayed insecticide during cleaning, I was still bitten quite badly. For someone like me, who suffers from papular urticaria, it was particularly annoying.
Outside the hotel, there's a convenience store, restaurants, and motorbike rentals. There's also a slightly smaller beach nearby, and the environment is decent. Diamond Beach is about a 10-minute walk away.
In the evenings, the bar outside was a bit noisy, which kept the elderly in our group from sleeping.
Overall, young people with low expectations might consider it. But for families like ours, with seniors and children, you'd really need to weigh whether you can accept these shortcomings.FromTWD 2,223

The only downside was having to wait until 2 PM for check-in, even though we arrived at 12:05 PM. But no worries, we just changed and headed to the beach. A huge thank you to everyone. Location & Beach Access
The resort's prime beachfront location is undoubtedly its strongest asset. Situated directly by a beautiful stretch of shallow, crystal-blue waters, it offers safe and perfect conditions for family sea bathing. The convenience factor is excellent – you're just a two-minute walk from the famous Sai Kaew Beach, the iconic Mermaid Monument, and the bustling Silversand Resort area.
Accommodation & Ambience
While the resort building itself shows its age, the refurbished rooms create a lovely ambience with beautiful lighting that transforms the older structure into something quite charming. We stayed on the third floor, which offered peaceful mountain views overlooking the national park forest rather than beach views. The setting is genuinely calm and quiet – exactly what we wanted for a family retreat.
Important consideration: There's no elevator, so reaching upper floors requires quite a climb. As we joked, shuttling between the room and outside areas four times daily provides a workout in itself! This makes the resort unsuitable for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues.
Dining Experience
The breakfast experience is delightful, served in a beachside restaurant where you can enjoy your meal with sand between your toes. The selection impresses with a good range of both Western and Thai options, including fresh fruits.
The resort's beach restaurant serves quality food with excellent value for money – we tried multiple dishes and enjoyed them all. Great hotel! The staff were all very kind and friendly. Check in was smooth and the location of the hotel was very close to the pier to cross over to Koh Samet.
It had a lovely pool, gym and even a small kids soft play area.

We traveled with two elderly people and a three-year-old child and chose this place because we wanted a quiet vacation. The 300+ baht rooms were a good value, but we were also tempted by the ocean view of the 700+ baht rooms, so we booked one for each. Upon arrival, we realized the ocean view was the most worthwhile factor; the rest of the accommodations, including the breakfast, were mediocre. The front desk said we could upgrade to two adjacent ocean view rooms for an additional 500 baht.
This was a better deal than booking directly through the platform. You can see the pictures; they're all real shots. Honestly, the accommodations are like a typical farm stay in China, but the ocean view is truly authentic, something you don't get at other hotels.
If you're looking for a view and quiet, book this place. The location, just around the corner from the beach, is indeed quiet, but being away from the hustle and bustle also means it's inconvenient. We ate at another beach a dozen minutes further up the road, where we had more options and the food was better. The hotel breakfast was terrible, with almost no vegetables. They served it as a set meal, but since there were so many of us, we ordered the entire set meal, with unlimited refills. In the end, we asked them to stir-fry all the vegetables in the restaurant together to make it a complete meal. This is my honest experience, and I hope it helps others.FromTWD 2,013

The location of the hotel is great if you like snorkelling, the cleaning service is only from 9:00- 13:00 and you need to confirm with the staff if you need it or not, which is alright for me.

Great place for a family holiday! We had a bungalow on the beach, with its own terrace. The house has a small second floor, where a double bed fits. There is everything you need. A good restaurant with a great view of the sea. This hotel does not have a beach, as the coast is rocky, but literally 100 meters away there is a beautiful sandy beach with numerous cafes and bars.

The hotel is very new. Nice, clean and fully equipped with facilities similar to the standard of new hotels in China. The location of the hotel is on Saengchan close to Rayong city and near Laem Charoen Beach. Saeng Chan beach looks better in pictures. It's a hip beach for the younger generation to hang out. The location is good for young locals or foreigners who may travel to Rayong by public transportation. The food is great but the location isn't convenient, I had to walk 2 buildings away from where I stayed to have a breakfast. The hotel area is very clean and wide. The size of our room was big, really spacious and clean. Our compliments to the cleaning staff there. The car parking area is really huge and convenient to access the hotel main area. The dining area is quite spacious, and the staff was extremely attentive. I will help to c choose foods that are not readily provided on the table. They are aimed to serve you. Foods are changed every day ! Well let’s see, first I don’t think we needed to pay so much for the family room. It had no windows in the room to even enjoy the view or have any natural light. The bathroom had a window, ?? But no a/c Breakfast was pre order I expect a buffet style like most hotels/resorts. Food was good tho, We checked in a little late and everything was closed but only 6pm. Had no Wi-Fi which was a big issue having kids everything closed nothing to do. Family room no bathtub? Or microwave…. The phone in the room did not work couldn’t even call the front desk. The water park is nice, time for a few repairs tho, closes at 6pm. It wasn’t the best hotel or the worse hotel/resort. But for 5,000thb around 140usd after taxes. I expected a little more. - The hotel's location is awesome, right next to Central Rayong shopping mall, just a few steps away.
This place is part of the Hilton chain, in their affordable format. They don't do luggage handling, which is fine.
- This hotel is super new and clean, totally decked out, and the bathroom is huge. The hairdryer is new, and the TV is modern. Plus, they've got stuff for wheelchairs and an SOS button in the room if you need help.
- The staff welcomed us and served us well.
The dining room is medium-sized, with in-door and out-door areas, and the food tastes good.
- The space in front of each room is pretty proportional, which is great for privacy, but the soundproofing between rooms might not be the best. We can hear doors closing or stuff banging through the ceiling and walls.
- If you're staying during the festival, there might be noisy events with loud music in the mall's forecourt, usually from 7 PM to midnight. Maybe probably ask the hotel about it after booking your room.
We were pretty stoked with this place. If we can, we'll totally come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel is super convenient for my business trips to Rayong. It's close to everything. There's a shopping mall nearby, and a bigger one just ten minutes away. The breakfast spread was also quite good.

what an amazing stay! i have spent 1 night and got an anniversary set up in the room which is very cute. the room size is the big benefit of the hotel not including game rooms, nice swimming pool and other services i have received during my stay. the breakfast offers you an international dishes whether Thai, Japanese or Western. The bay/beach area during October is great and the water is clear enough for the family to let their kids enjoy swimming!

A great hotel offering excellent value for money. I initially booked for just one night, but after seeing how nice and clean the room was, I immediately decided to extend my stay for another. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. It's conveniently located just over a kilometer from both the Starlight Night Market and the bus station for Bangkok-bound buses from Rayong, which is about a 20-minute walk away.
