I did not get the room I booked (king suite with sofa bed). There wasn’t much privacy as we were placed above the lobby, any time shades were open for sunlight everyone arriving can peer in.
When we arrived, our room was 50 degrees and our baby was freezing we had to co sleep for the first time ever (and hopefully last) to keep her warm. It took almost 24 hrs for heat to kick in. Their excuse was it’s never cold in Florida but that’s not true, I have lived in Florida before and I always kept a space heater for those less common but expected cold nights in the winter. The ground floor provides 'walk out' access to the lagoon, pool, and beach. Broad views include the spring-fed lagoon and the Gulf of Mexico. The main bedroom, living room, kitchen and lanai share these views.Pointe Santo has done a remarkable job recovering from Hurricane Ian and is now back and totally remodeled, relandscaped, and reimagined, with an exciting new pool pavilion and a fully updated look.
