Resort staff was great!! Allowed early check in as room was ready when we arrived. This allowed us to get on the beach early. The tiki bar drinks were good. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice. Small fridge & microwave in room too. The few downsides - As with most beachside hotels, the Room had a mildew smell we couldn’t conquer with either Lysol or Renuzit. Ice machines usually didn’t have ice. Pool closed early at 7 pm. Beach umbrellas could only be purchased for $35. Not included with beach chairs in the resort fee. We would most definitely stay there again.From€240

Enter the front door and the view will draw your eyes to the lanai and the lagoon and beach beyond. The screen entry door allows you to open both lanai doors double wide and feel the ocean breeze. The lanai is the perfect place to dine or read and maybe take that afternoon nap. The bedroom also faces the beach and has another sliding door to the lanai. The wall of windows there provides a stunning view as well. We do not add extra fees above the VRBO charge.Our condo was just renovated. Changes include a new marble shower, enlarged bathroom with marble vanity and floors. The kitchen has granite countertops and all new stainless steel appliances, new backsplash, and small appliances. Furnishings are also added including leather reclining sofa, king mattress, new tv console, a new 65-inch flat-screen smart tv, new washer and dryer, and much more. The entire condo has been updated. Pointe Santo has a pool with a beach view, hot tub, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and beach volleyball. There are afternoon activities for children and a shell cleaning and washing station for those treasures you find. Beach chairs are waiting on the beach but we also have an owner's closet stocked with beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use if you want to get closer to the water. The location is mid-island and close to some of the very best restaurants. A quick walk down the beach to the left takes you to Casa Ybel's beach restaurant and bar. At Pointe Santo it is easy to have a relaxing vacation. We take pride in creating a space that has everything you need and we welcome suggestions to make your stay even better. This two-story townhouse is nestled steps from the beach, surrounded by mature palm trees and plants for privacy and beauty. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around 2-story lanai that is so peaceful and tranquil. The house has an open floor plan with an upgraded kitchen with stainless appliances and a large living room and open dining spaces. 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. There is a daybed bedroom on the main floor and a 1/2 bath. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. There is a private master bath with a granite dual vanity and a separate tiled shower and bath. A large walk-in closet and wood-look flooring and ceramic tile. The guest bedroom on the other side of the hall also has floor-to-ceiling windows, 2 double beds, and a closet. The guest bathroom has a tiled shower and granite countered sink. There is a small loft off the hall that overlooks the two-story space below. There is a covered sitting space under the townhome for a bit of shade and grilling and garage space that stores beach amenities for our guests to use. This Island get-away is a short walk to the gulf. From the front door, you take a short path that wraps past the shared pool area and use the association’s private, peaceful boardwalk to get to the beachfront. There’s an outdoor rinse area at the beginning of the boardwalk for washing off sand when you come back from the shore. You can walk for miles on the beach in either direction and enjoy stunning views, sun, and seashells. Even though the proximity to the beach steals the show, you could sit in the two-story lanai all day. The sun shines through perfectly, and there are lots of comfortable spaces around the home to enjoy catching up on a book or taking an afternoon nap.Sanibel is one of the most popular islands in Florida, with miles of incredible shell beaches, and over half of the island is wildlife and nature preserves. The island vibe will captivate you. People love to bike around the island. There are unique restaurants, ice cream shops, and museums. There is a beautiful golf course, along with tennis and pickleball courts available on the island for a fee. And of course, you could spend your whole stay just at the beach. I did not get the room I booked (king suite with sofa bed). There wasn’t much privacy as we were placed above the lobby, any time shades were open for sunlight everyone arriving can peer in.
When we arrived, our room was 50 degrees and our baby was freezing we had to co sleep for the first time ever (and hopefully last) to keep her warm. It took almost 24 hrs for heat to kick in. Their excuse was it’s never cold in Florida but that’s not true, I have lived in Florida before and I always kept a space heater for those less common but expected cold nights in the winter. I paid over $500 a night for this.From€240

We had a great Stay. Everything is so beautiful and nicely renovated. The service was above and beyond! This new and improved longstanding resort is a must stay! For Cassidy at the pool bar to the towel and float attendant to the gentleman bartender at Dante’s everyone was well trained and friendly!
