Facilities: For a Japanese hotel, the room is quite spacious, and the bathroom isn't small either. Hygiene: Relatively clean; the carpet is a bit old but not noticeably dirty. Environment: The surrounding area is quiet, and some windows offer a view of Sapporo TV Tower. Service: It seems the lounge offers free drinks long-term, and there are free luggage lockers available upon check-out. The attached picture shows the room's view.

Location: Unbeatable, right above Sapporo Station, truly offering 'seamless connectivity' to the station. It's incredibly convenient whether you're arriving from the airport via JR or transferring to subways and buses to various attractions. Service & Facilities: The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The hotel's (Japanese) breakfast is a major highlight; it tastes excellent and is well worth taking your time to enjoy. The Western breakfast was just average (nothing particularly different from other five-star hotels). Room & View: The view from the room's window is stunning, overlooking the entire cityscape of Sapporo. Although the room space feels slightly cramped for a hotel in the same price range (the room is a bit small), it's acceptable given the convenience of the location. Summary: For those prioritizing travel efficiency and city views, this is the top choice.

Facilities: The 4-star rating is truly well-deserved, much of it self-sufficient. The hotel has a laundry room, costing 400 JPY per wash and 200 JPY per dry. Cleanliness: Housekeeping requires an additional fee. After placing a 'do not disturb' sign on your door, you can leave your trash outside. Environment: I could tolerate the worn-out room, but the hotel surprisingly didn't have three-prong outlets, making my travel kettle unusable. Service: If you opt out of the 500 JPY room cleaning, the hotel will leave fresh towels and water outside your door. However, it's strange that for three guests, they only provided two bottles of water.

Nakajima Park Sapporo|1.38km from city center
The hotel is located opposite Zhongshan Park, in a relatively quiet neighborhood. If you walk in the opposite direction of Zhongshan Park, you can reach Susukino, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, Parco, and other areas. It's not a bustling or super-lively area, which makes it very comfortable and suitable for a stay. I really appreciated the welcome drinks and ice cream. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate for two people. We purchased the breakfast-included package. After 7:30 AM, it gets incredibly busy, so if you want a quiet meal, it's best to go earlier. We had ten breakfast vouchers for two people over five nights, and by the end, I was so tired of eating sashimi... My partner could still go for more, but I really couldn't stomach any more sweet shrimp or salmon. We even ended up wasting a few breakfast vouchers. I'd recommend that guests staying in Sapporo for an extended period buy breakfast vouchers at the front desk only when they plan to eat breakfast.

I stayed here for five days and four nights. The room was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The mountain view from the window was breathtaking. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is located right next to the famous Nakajima Park, and the snowy scenery there was absolutely beautiful. It’s also very close to the Nakajima Koen subway station, which made getting around easy. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel facilities were incredibly satisfying, and the bedding was super comfortable. They even had a Dyson hairdryer, and the front desk offered complimentary female skincare samples, bath salts, and face masks – so thoughtful! The hotel is also conveniently located near an indoor entrance to the train station. If you're not carrying luggage, Exit 16 of the Sapporo station is the closest.

Great location, within walking distance from Sapporo Station. The room is very spacious (unlike the tiny rooms in Tokyo) and clean. There are plenty of complimentary toiletries available in the lobby, and umbrellas can be borrowed from the reception. The washing machines are clean and well-maintained. Although the public bath is not spring water, it is well-maintained and very clean. This is my favourite hotel in the entire trip and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

Susukino Sapporo|1.11km from city center
I booked this place based on good reviews, but I was extremely disappointed. The toilet hygiene needs serious improvement. The bidet on the smart toilet was incredibly dirty. After I peed and used the bidet, as soon as I pressed the button, I immediately smelled feces. At first, I thought it was the drain, but my gut told me otherwise. I shifted my body forward, turned around, and looked at the bidet behind and below me. It was truly disgusting – a bunch of fecal stains stuck all over the bidet nozzle. I was shocked and immediately used the shower and soap to clean myself. Then I told my boyfriend. He didn't quite believe me at first. He tried to trigger the toilet sensor with his hand, pressed the bidet, and then stopped it. We both felt nauseous looking at that bidet. My boyfriend then went to the front desk to see if we could change rooms or have someone clean it. But the front desk staff said all rooms were full and the cleaner wasn't available; they could only clean it tomorrow. The staff didn't show any apology, just a look of helplessness. Finally, they asked if it would be convenient for them to enter our room tomorrow morning to clean the toilet. We agreed for them to clean it at 9 AM the next morning. The following day, we were out all day. When we returned in the evening, new towels had been placed, but when we checked the bidet, it still hadn't been cleaned, and the strange smell was still there. We were too tired to complain again because we had to get up at 4 AM for our flight. Luckily, I only chose to stay for two nights. Also, the water heater was very unstable. When showering, after about 1-2 minutes, the water would turn cold for a second, then immediately go back to hot, repeating like that. It was barely acceptable. Other aspects were fine. They provide free toiletries and coffee, and there are free umbrellas for rent in the lobby.

Sapporo|0.28km from city center
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and we used the underground walkway on snowy days! The hotel has a very old European style, with oil paintings everywhere! The elevator had a fun clock-like movement. We were lucky enough to get a corner room, which was much larger than a standard room and included a dressing table and a capsule coffee machine. Bed linen was changed every two days, and complimentary mineral water, tea bags, and pajamas were replenished daily. The hot spring on the 14th floor was crowded if you went too early or after 8 PM. The hairdryer was a Refa. On the first floor, there was free coffee and ice available for self-service from afternoon to evening, as well as a microwave. There was also a convenient laundry room near the first-floor hallway!

Nakajima Park Sapporo|1.4km from city center
We stayed at Hotel Mystays Sapporo as a family traveling with a baby. The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for getting around Sapporo, with many attractions, shops, and restaurants nearby. This made our stay much easier and more enjoyable, especially when traveling with a baby. When we first entered our room, we unfortunately faced a few issues. The phone was not working, and part of a wall fixture was coming off, which raised safety concerns for us as parents. It was disappointing to receive a room in this condition, especially when traveling with a baby where safety is a priority. However, we would like to highlight the very professional reaction of the hotel staff. Once we reported the problem, they responded quickly and seriously. They upgraded us to their biggest room and fixed the issue, making sure we felt comfortable and reassured. Their attitude and willingness to solve the problem made a big difference and turned a negative first impression into a positive experience. Another strong point of the hotel is the restaurant inside the hotel, which was excellent. The food quality was very good, and the convenience of having such a good restaurant on-site was invaluable for us as a family. We ended up eating there almost every night. Overall, while we were initially disappointed with the condition of the first room, we were very satisfied with how the staff handled the situation, the great location, and the quality of the restaurant. Thanks to their responsiveness and professionalism, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future.

That allows a tranquil and relaxing environment which you can truly enjoy the stay and immerse yourself into the nature. The resort is beautiful and room is super spacious. The buffet is wonderful. Susukino Sapporo|0.82km from city center
I stayed in the most affordable room, but it was comfortable and not too small. Next to the bed was a desk with a light and mirror, and a chair with casters. Various chargers were also provided. The table was spacious enough with a refrigerator underneath, so I could eat, get ready, or watch TV just by sitting there. It was great for lazy people. The bath, of course, was large enough to stretch my legs out. I was able to choose my favorite bath salts and shampoo, so bath time was very satisfying. I was happy to see that the vending machine corner on the 5th floor sold bread, snacks, and even yakisoba bento boxes. I was able to extend my check-out time from 11:00 until 13:00. The extension fee was 1,500 yen per hour. The hotel was clean, the facilities were great, and the staff were very friendly, so I would definitely use it again.

Jozankei Onsen Sapporo|18.36km from city center
This is a historic Japanese onsen hotel. The hot spring water quality is genuinely good, attracting many Japanese families and couples. There are also quite a few Korean families and Western tourists. However, the overall facilities are a bit old, and the flow within the onsen area is quite complex. There aren't many pools, but they are spread across multiple floors with lots of stairs. Walking around like that **in that condition** felt a bit awkward and cold. The open-air onsen on the 16th floor is shared by men and women at different times, so if all family members want to enjoy it, one day definitely isn't enough (see the last picture for the onsen schedule). The 'water world' is fun and great for kids, and soaking in the hot spring after playing there is very relaxing. The dining is just okay, nothing special, as they mainly cater to group tours. P.S. The scenery in Jozankei is worth exploring, and the nearby ski resort is worth a visit (the kind for playing in the snow). The kids had a blast.

Location is simply excellent. Just off shoot between Tanikikoji 5 and 6 chome. Opposite the hotel is the pick up point for Airport shuttle bus to New Chitose Airport. The hotel itself is pretty old and the room is small. Book a twin room and barely have enough space for two 28 inch lugguages. The breakfast was touted as one of the best in Sapporo with posters within the hotel and lifts. In reality, nothing close to it. The actual sashimi selection looks unappealing. The salmon role is closer to light brown than the usual orange red colour. Some of the staff are not so friendly perhaps of tourist fatigue? The exception was a lad serving at the entrance helping guest with their lugguages and transport. He was good and courteous. I hope the management notice his service. 👍

Location: It's about a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station. It was a bit of a hassle dragging my luggage in the snow at night when I didn't know the way, but it was easy to find my way in the morning. It's quite close to Odori Park and also convenient for catching the bus to the ski resorts. Service: The front desk staff, whether speaking Chinese, Japanese, or English, were all very attentive. They asked detailed questions and were prompt and helpful with booking taxis. Room: Not particularly large, and opening a suitcase was a bit difficult, but the king-size bed and mountain view made up for it, which I found acceptable. Cleanliness: I didn't notice any uncomfortable dirty spots. Dining: The breakfast was excellent, offering everything you'd expect. Even during the peak Chinese New Year period, it wasn't chaotic. An absolutely perfect experience! This hotel, built in 1934, is nearly a century old and exudes a profound sense of history with its distinctive Japanese-Western old money charm. The lobby and public areas are understated yet sophisticated, with exquisite attention to detail. The room was impeccably maintained and felt brand new, not at all dated. Even the bathroom facilities, like the drainage and ventilation, were modern and completely odor-free. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, showcasing traditional Japanese hospitality at every turn. We were incredibly lucky to be assigned a large Hollywood Twin room in the East Wing – a spacious 40 square meters, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases and two snowboards with plenty of room to spare. A delightful surprise at night was catching a glimpse of Sapporo Tower from our window. The twinkling tower lights paired with falling snowflakes created a truly romantic scene. The breakfast was excellent, easily on par with some of the best hotel breakfasts in Hokkaido, offering everything you could want. I arrived in Sapporo late at night and took a taxi from Sapporo JR Station to the hotel, which cost about 1800 yen. The next morning, as I pulled open the curtains, I was absolutely stunned: before me was a beautiful world of pristine white snow, with Nakajima Park spread out in full view. I was so grateful for the clear blue sky, allowing the distant mountains to be clearly visible. It truly lived up to its name as a 'room with a view.' Although the facilities are a bit dated, the room layout is very practical, and the bathroom is spacious enough. The bedding and linens are all of high quality. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and excellent. Eating breakfast in the ground floor restaurant, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows, and watching the snow silently fall from the trees was an indescribable pleasure. Even better was the hotel's location for transportation. Nakajima Koen Station's Exit 3 and Exit 1 are only a two-minute walk from the hotel, making getting around incredibly convenient! The front desk service was also impeccable. We stayed for a total of three nights, but had to switch rooms for the third night. I pre-booked a transfer and luggage service for 10:50 AM today and even re-confirmed it with the front desk this morning, but no one showed up when the time came. Around 11 AM, I sent my child to ask at the front desk, and the staff simply said, 'We forgot,' and that was it. They offered no solutions for my delayed schedule, no sincere apology, just a perfunctory 'sorry' to brush me off. This complete disregard for customer needs and lack of accountability after a mistake shows zero professionalism. I paid for a service, not to be upset. As a long-time Ctrip member, I hope Ctrip provides an official response. The staff member who came to collect the luggage today was Indian and completely clueless. When the downstairs driver asked if it was Ms. Wang's luggage, he said no. They couldn't even get the most basic information right. It's truly speechless. I do not recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel for my family because the room was spacious, which was very important to us as we wanted our child to have enough space to move around comfortably. The hotel is new and very clean, exactly as we expected. The complimentary drinks for all guests were a lovely touch. There was a good variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, along with popcorn, which made us feel very welcomed. What impressed me the most, however, was how considerate and helpful the staff were. We checked out very early at 6:00 am during a snowstorm. In the middle of our journey, I realized that I had left one of my bags behind—the one containing my passport and valuable items. I immediately called the hotel and asked if it would be possible to send the bag to the airport, as returning to the hotel ourselves would definitely cause us to miss our flight. The receptionist (I’m very sorry that I can’t remember her name) took my situation very seriously and contacted her manager to request authorization to delegate a staff member to bring my passport to the airport, since they could not leave an unattended bag in a taxi. I had offered to cover all expenses, but what truly stood out was their willingness to help without hesitation. Ms. Wu was the staff member who personally brought my passport to the airport. With her honesty, urgency, and care, I honestly don’t know how I would have made it back to my hometown. I cannot thank her and the hotel team enough for what they did for us.
