Seriously, seriously good! To be honest, at this price point, I didn't expect much, but I have to say it was genuinely excellent. The room had been renovated, very new. The only minor flaw was that the headboard had been repositioned compared to the original layout, which obstructed the view a bit, but that's practically the only complaint. And the lounge? Just drink as much as you like, I literally drank my fill and then some! Highly, highly recommend.FromHK$1,185

Sapporo|0.69km from city center
The room was quite clean, and while the facilities were a bit old, I was prepared for that. Room service was very prompt, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and kind, granting us a late checkout until 12 PM. The complimentary water they sent was a generous touch. However, the humidifier was really ineffective; it didn't increase the humidity and only blew out hot air. I hope they can replace it. I can't comment on breakfast as it wasn't included. The hotel is very close to the JR station and conveniently located next to two department stores, making dining easy. Since the hotel is quite old, it's a good option for a transit stay. When we left, a young lady at the entrance helped us call a taxi, and her attitude was excellent. If they could renovate the hardware, this hotel would be perfect.FromHK$945

After countless trips to Japan, this hotel stands out as the best, most comfortable, most convenient, and best value for money I've ever experienced. It's my first time staying in such a great value hotel in Japan. The double room is a bit small, but the bed is 1.6 meters wide, which is quite rare in Sapporo. Still, I recommend choosing a twin room as it's much more spacious. It's incredibly close to JR Sapporo, just a 2-minute walk, putting it right in the heart of the core district. This makes transportation, shopping, and dining incredibly convenient. There's also a convenience store nearby. You can store your luggage here, and all the toiletries are DHC.FromHK$821

Love this hotel! We stayed here for 2nd time and this time I would really like to thank front desk colleague Saito San for her hospitality specifically with her communication skills, speedy check in and customer focus skills in helping us to change our room when my daughter accidentally vomited near our room bathroom as she got sick before checked in in the cold weather.
Not only she assisted cleaning (outside of her job responsibilities as housekeeping staff gone after 3pm), she handled this situation so well and made us feel so much better without being bad and embarrassed about the mess we made. This is the world class professionalism and respect toward her profession in Japan (esp in Sapporo) which my daughter and I have been very impressed. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable and their breakfast buffet is amazing! I give this hotel a 10 out of 10! Well done!!!FromHK$802

odori park Surrounding Sapporo|0.87km from city center
Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, quiet, and clean. However, as others have mentioned, the bathroom is a bit dated. The bathtub creaks when you step into it, and there's a noticeable layer of dust on the ventilation fan when showering.
Cleanliness: It's clean and hygienic. If you put the magnetic 'please clean' sign on the door in the morning, they'll clean it. If you forget, they'll still hang fresh towels and toothbrushes on the door.
Location: The garden view room faces Odori Park, with a large window offering beautiful views. It's very quiet at night, and the convenience store downstairs is great for snacks, late-night meals, and breakfast. However, it is quite a walk from the subway station; the closest exit is Odori Station Exit 1, about 200-300 meters away.
Service: The service was satisfying, and all the staff were very polite. Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to find 8 bottles of natural water on the table, contrary to some reviews that mentioned no bottled water. This made the experience even better.
Exclusive Guest Lounge: From 3 PM to 9 PM daily, you can use your room card to access the lounge on the first floor for a self-service afternoon tea. They offer classic items like Jaga Pokkuru (Potato Fri Brothers), Rokkatei, Royce, as well as hot beverages like coffee and cold drinks like oolong tea and orange juice. Highly recommended!FromHK$863

The transportation here is quite convenient, with the Toho Line right downstairs from the hotel, which also goes to Sapporo. I even saw this line at Sapporo Station. But I don't understand why Google usually recommends the Namboku Line, which is a bit further to walk to Nikka. Ladies, you might want to pay attention to the difference next time.
The hotel room isn't huge, but it's spacious enough to open two suitcases, and the layout is decent. The bathroom has a bathtub and a toilet, which is fine.
It's very close to Tanukikoji, so it's super convenient to be around here. I think it's even more convenient than staying at Sapporo Station because the subway ride to Sapporo Station is only a few minutes (not counting walking time).
Both check-in and check-out can be self-service. For check-out, you just return the room card to the machine, which is quite efficient!FromHK$713

An old-school onsen hotel, and I was satisfied with everything. They even have a unique outdoor viewing experience at night. My only complaint is the breakfast's strict dining schedule; I really don't understand the hotel's reasoning. On vacation, you have to eat between 6:45 and 7:45 AM? We only had 1 night to stay in this beautiful paradise 🥲🤍
It was the best stay of our 10 day trip in Japan and we would definitely be back to stay here again 🤍
Location: in the Jozankei Onsen town that’s about an hour + out of Sapporo. Honestly if you’re in a group, just book a cab out, it was about $80++ for 3 of us! Otherwise remember to book the Onsen bus shuttle early in advance 🥹
Area around Onsen is nothing much besides other Onsen houses, a small cafe and other smol tourist picture spots.
Back to the Ryokan: this was my first experience being in one and I’m so glad I chose this place! Mum and sister throughly enjoyed it as well, using our in room Onsen ( there’s 2!) and also the shared common Onsen with an outdoor facing the snow too ❄️☃️♨️
Service:The staff was extremely polite and efficient, seeing the reviews of them being rude was kinda uncalled for. They were nothing but kind and attentive. It is a very quiet and peaceful place , I understand the need for all guests to be maintain the atmosphere too.
Food: amazing, one of the best meals I’ve had in Japan so far ♥️ the pictures below speaks for itself 🥹 private dining room to enjoy the view too🏔️
Loved small touches too like the mikimoto soaps , Dyson hair dryers ( in the public Onsen) And the chopstick souvenirs 🥹
I can’t wait to come back here again with my partner 🤍FromHK$2,617

I stayed in the most affordable room, but it was comfortable and not too small.
Next to the bed was a desk with a light and mirror, and a chair with casters. Various chargers were also provided.
The table was spacious enough with a refrigerator underneath, so I could eat, get ready, or watch TV just by sitting there. It was great for lazy people.
The bath, of course, was large enough to stretch my legs out. I was able to choose my favorite bath salts and shampoo, so bath time was very satisfying.
I was happy to see that the vending machine corner on the 5th floor sold bread, snacks, and even yakisoba bento boxes.
I was able to extend my check-out time from 11:00 until 13:00. The extension fee was 1,500 yen per hour.

The hotel provides a shuttle bus pick-up from Sapporo Station (Bus Terminal), but reservations can only be made by phone call. Email requests are not accepted. We arrived on a Sunday, and the bus was already fully packed when leaving Sapporo Station, so it is best to book early.
The hotel itself is a little old, though the public area toilets appear to have been recently renovated. The public onsen pools are large and relaxing, but the stone tile flooring can be slippery from long use, so be careful when walking in the bath area.
The buffet has a good spread of dishes. I especially enjoyed the dinner scallop miso soup, handmade sushi, and desserts. The restaurant was lively and fully packed with both local Japanese families and overseas tourists. One minor downside was the seasonal fruit such as lychee. It would be better if the hotel ensured the fruits were properly washed before serving.

Amazing hotel. Close to the TV tower and the park. The train station is also not far away. It's convenient for when you have to walk with your luggage in the snow. Relaxing hot bath. Lavish breakfast with a lot of options. Outstanding service.
The only complaint is that the laundry service was closed for the holidays and there is no self service laundry in the hotel. The closest one was 20 minutes away.FromHK$811

The hotel is located between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo city center. It takes about half an hour to reach Sapporo. If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.FromHK$726

I stayed at 2 night 3 day in the form of employee travel.
It was convenient because it was close to a garage, a convenience store and a subway station. There were two toilets, a shower room, and a bathroom with a bathtub, which was dispersed and used, which was helpful.
However, it seems that the bathtub was not cleaned on that day. Dirty water was accumulated and I started cleaning. Other than that, it is perfect.SOLD OUT

This place offers incredible value for money, highly recommended!”,”The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and even the hallways smell lovely. Jozankei Onsen Sapporo|18.46km from city center
The day we checked in, it happened to be snowing in Sapporo. The sight of Yu Le Cao An amidst the snow truly fulfilled all our expectations for Hokkaido. The snow outside the hotel, illuminated by lights, created an incredibly atmospheric scene.
We were a bit worried because we'd read some reviews saying the hotel's 'one night, two meals' package wasn't great, so we even bought some snacks from a convenience store nearby. However, the dinner turned out to be quite good, and we didn't even touch the food we bought from the convenience store. Each room at the hotel comes with a private indoor hot spring, so for those who dislike waiting, you can enjoy a hot spring bath right in your room. On the first floor, there are four different styles of outdoor private hot springs. I personally think 'Jì' (寂) is the most popular, but unfortunately, we didn't get to use it because there were too many people waiting.
After the hot spring, there are complimentary popsicles and lactic acid drinks on the B1 floor. Apparently, there are also free snacks on the first floor late at night. The only slight regret was that we checked in too late. Although we managed to get the last few bathrobes, all the sashes had been taken by Korean guests, so we couldn't properly wear them.
Finally, I have to praise the excellent service attitude of the hotel staff. The young man in the restaurant recommended a Hokkaido-exclusive drink to us, which was absolutely delicious – highly recommend him! The front desk staff were also very kind and enthusiastic. We weren't sure how to take the bus, and he, along with a Japanese lady who was also traveling, helped us figure it out. We're truly grateful (P.S. The staff member was amazing, he spoke English, Korean, and a little bit of Chinese) 👍🏻FromHK$2,085

Nakajima Park Sapporo|1.52km from city center
A truly pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Although the room wasn't spacious, it was well-designed, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were very friendly and welcoming, and proactively offered advice on city transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, with a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I especially recommend the freshly prepared hot food. The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a highly cost-effective choice for both business trips and city sightseeing. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.FromHK$1,849

I booked this hotel last minute after cutting short my stay at another hotel in Otaru due to exposed cable wiring under the bed area. Having learnt from that experience, I checked this room carefully upon arrival and was relieved to find everything well maintained. Mitsui Garden did a great job with the room setup, and everything felt clean and safe.
The room is spacious enough for three guests, with good walkway space, a hanging area, and a proper wardrobe. It feels more comfortable compared to other triple rooms I’ve stayed in. The bathroom is also a decent size and not as cramped as what you typically find in many Japanese hotels.
The hotel offers a public bath for both men and women, which is a nice feature to relax in. However, the laundry setup could be improved. There is only one combo washer-dryer machine, and the waiting time is quite long. Even at 3–4 a.m., guests are queuing to use it, and each wash-and-dry cycle takes around two hours. You can monitor the washer status directly from your room TV, which is convenient, but it would be much better if the hotel could add a few more machines. It can be inconvenient when guests miss their pickup time and others have to wait. So, you really needs to plan and be more considerate in using the washer.
Breakfast has a limited selection and leans more towards Western-style dishes, but there is a live chef station serving both sweet and savory crepes, which adds a nice touch to the morning experience.FromHK$1,351

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! While its location is a little off the beaten path, that's perfectly acceptable. Compared to cramped rooms where you can barely turn around, this hotel felt incredibly spacious and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the tatami mat area and small table in the room, along with the excellent wet/dry separation in the bathroom.FromHK$665

First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. It's right in the heart of Sapporo, just a 3-minute walk from Tanukikoji, making it super convenient for getting around, shopping, and enjoying local food.
Secondly, the hotel facilities are top-notch, with incredible attention to detail.
Thirdly, the food and beverage service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is very generous.

I booked it because it is near the station. Price was a bit high for me but it included breakfast. Unfortunately they don't have much choice for Muslim travellers and there was no label. I had to ask every time what I could consume. The staff was very accommodating and did their best to answer my questions.
Love the amenities they had.
The downer was when I had to travel for a few days and they don't allow luggage storage even though I was coming back to stay at their hotel.
Don't thinkI will stay at hotel chain again.

The room was spacious, easily accommodating three large suitcases even with three beds, which was very comfortable. The hotel's breakfast spread was excellent, and its location was superb. It's just a 3-5 minute walk to Nakajima-koen subway station, and Susukino and Tanukikoji shopping street are also about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel's shuttle bus to Sapporo JR Station was very convenient for transferring to other parts of Hokkaido.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in Japan. Just be very very careful in pinning the map. We were brought miles away from Sapporo in the middle night and nowhere to seek help. We reached the hotel at dawn already, tired and weak, scared. It was a terrible experience but the hotel is good. We got no help from the staff. The view from the hotel is perfect. Everything is nearby the hotel.

This hotel offers excellent value for money; I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. The room was very comfortable for one person. The location is a short walk from the subway station, with Nakajima-koen Station likely being the closest. It doesn't take too long to stroll to the bustling city center. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and proactive, making this the best impression among the dozen or so hotels I stayed at in Sapporo during that period. It even rivals the Porton Hotel at the airport, which costs several times more.

My experience at this hotel was fantastic! It's not only beautifully decorated, cozy, and comfortable, but it also comes equipped with full amenities like a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a bathtub – making it feel just like home. The location is super convenient too, just a few minutes from the subway station, with several convenience stores nearby. What touched me most was that I accidentally left my phone in the room, and after contacting the staff, they proactively helped me find it and even shipped it to my friend in Japan. I'm truly grateful! Highly recommend!

They gave me a room with a superb nice view 😁. The room and bathroom are quite packed but you will be good even for 2 adults in the room since it comes with reasonable price. Only 2 blocks away from the market, malls, susukino subway and food with a super cozy environment. Complete amenities and they change the towel everyday if you need. Unlimited coffee, juice, croissant and bread for breakfast which enough for me. Helpful and nice front officer. Only maybe you can add more time for the check out until 11am. Overall I really have a zuper pleasant stay here

Convenient location, close to the subway station, making it easy to get around to attractions. Breakfast is served on the second floor; it's the same every day, but the toast is delicious! 😋 The room has a mini-fridge, and even with our two large suitcases open, the aisle was still spacious. There's a convenience store nearby, and the room was very clean. The only minor downside is that the front desk staff only speak English. Overall, it's pretty good. You can pick up toiletries, including razors, on the first floor near the elevator.
