It’s a decent hotel located in center of Surabaya near to Tunjungan Plaza and Jalan Tunjungan. The room is very standard to everything one person need for few nights stay… nothing fancy. I was assigned room with amazing view from 6th floor. The room is clean and neat and I love that they have smart TV. Wifi is pretty fast and reliable too. One thing for improvement is foul smell on the hallway. I think it’s due to the aging building. However, staffs clean the hallway carpet regularly. I would surely return to this hotel if I go back to Surabaya.From£12

Hotel staff not so warm and friendly. Some do not understand basic english. I was left standing for no reason. Only when i asked what am i waiting for, someone “jumped” in and served me.
Room was ok. Comfy bed. I slept well. But towels are were old with frayed ends. Gross.
Location is less than 10 mins to Tunjungan Plaza, a popular mall. Traffic is mad so crossing the road is challenging. No bottled water but rooms have pitchers to fill up water from Dispensers outside rooms. Good initiative.From£17

Room Change at Midnight, Poor Sleep
I had to switch rooms at midnight because the air conditioning couldn't cool below 20°C. The technician couldn’t fix it and advised me to call the duty manager. I had an early flight and needed rest, but the room change took time, and I was disturbed again by a late-night call offering a towel. I finally slept around 12:30 AM and had to wake up at 5:15 AM. On the bright side, the porter kindly gave me a breakfast bag before my early checkout. Still, I’m reconsidering staying here again—might opt for a 4-star hotel with better comfort next time.From£64

The hotel is strategically located, especially if you bring your own car. The rooms are large, the amenities are amazing, the facilities are great, such as a children swimming pool and a small infinity pool, a gym, a child playground, and a restaurant. The breakfast options are also great with a lot of variation. The cleanliness, however, can be further improved: one of the four pillow sheet is a bit dirty, and the AC can be further maintained as it is not as cool as we expect. Room with city view , we were staying for 3 nights and everything was good.
All the employees were very kind and polite.
Breakfast look very good, we normally don’t eat a lot in the morning but there were a lot of choices especially Indonesians food.
The bed and the cushions were good and the towels were thick and clean.
The room is not completely soundproof so we could hear the neighbors or from the hall,
but we are mostly out and weren’t back in the room until later in the evening.
I only thought there was a bit of a weird smell in the hall or in the room.
The bathroom was clean , but I think it could be cleaned a little bit better especially in the side of the tiles, the sink and the toilet.
Amenities , no hairdryer and the refrigerator was not cool enough , water-cooker needs to be checked or replaced ( it was leaking )
Location is good to the airport, but
far from supermarket or place to eat .From£25
