Excellent location just a couple mins walk from Town Hall station. Also has a Woolworth conveniently nearby and QVB is just across the road. Room was clean, room service was excellent and towels were replaced daily. Mini fridge and iron too in the room if needed. Bathroom is spacious enough and concierge is very friendly.

The view from the window is great, and its downtown location makes it very convenient to walk across the bridge to see the Saturday fireworks and visit museums. It's also close to other famous city center landmarks. If you're staying with a few friends, I think the room price is quite reasonable.

A bit of a hit and miss. Some things were brilliant (great barista made coffee at breakfast! Eco friendly with even their teabags!) and some things were not so brilliant (massive queues to check in and check out as only 2 desks! Only found out on the last day of our 6 day stay that there was a breakfast menu you can order from and not only eat from the buffet but staff never offered it! Random maintenance men entering our room at 9am even thought we pre-agreed the time was to be 12 noon! No heating in first room leading to a change in rooms but without a bathtub and without apologies! Had to wait til 1am for a small portable fan heater to be delivered and heat the room! Credit offered for no heating not actually being applied to the final invoice! Room service ordering app doesn’t work! Etc etc). After my complaints were raised Emma did her best to try to help.

Apartment hotel suitable for group of 4. Sofa outside toilet is a very interesting layout. Kitchen equipped with kitchenette but ventilation was bad. Sound proofing was horrible, can literally hear other units chatting and/or bickering away. Toilet equipped with jacuzzi was a bonus for a long day out. Shower area is small and flood easily. Washer and dryer also located in toilet. Side note - laundry detergent is payable, so BYO. Coffee machine at lobby was a nice touch but during our stay, only 1 machine was working. Mugs are for lobby usage, could be nice if can provide several paper cups especially for early day trip out and patrons need a cup on the go. Otherwise, very satisfied with the unit! Will return to stay with hotel the next round when i visit sydney again!

Absolutely superb hotel. The location is obviously perfect, being just a couple of minutes from Circular Quay train station and on top of the wharf for ferries to everywhere as well as just across the road from the Royal Botanic Garden and a short stroll from the Sydney Opera House. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived to the ned of our stay and rightly recommended the breakfast where everything was cokked to order (no sad breakfast buffet here). Our suite had everything we needed: fully equpped kitchen, dining table, sitting area, bedroom plus a balcony with a fabulous view of the quay and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We will definitely be back.

The hotel's location is superb. The front desk staff were great; we booked for three people for three days, but since one person left early, we needed to extend for one day for two people. We asked the front desk if we could keep the triple room without changing, and they checked and confirmed it was available, readily agreeing! Plus, the room even came with cookies and candy upon check-in 😊

The location is in the middle of the CBD and it is convenient to go to the sights. The room is a bit old and the WIFI signal is weak. The elevator has to manually open and close the door. The elevator has to open the door once and the floor of the first floor is not aligned. It is necessary to bend over and step on the way, which is terrible! Be careful of safety incidents. There is a waitress who doesn't care.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Sebel overall. The location is unbeatable (5/5)—right in Martin Place, making it perfect for getting around Sydney. The service was also great, and the room amenities were very comfortable. However, I have to give the cleanliness a 3/5. While the room was generally tidy, there were some disappointing oversights. I noticed some blood on the bedsheet and a towel that appeared to have stains, looking like it hadn't been changed. It’s a shame because everything else about the hotel is fantastic. If they paid a bit more attention to the housekeeping details, this would easily be a top-tier stay.

There are two bathrooms, living room and kitchen, hardware equipment is good, suitable for family living. But the sink in the toilet is relatively narrow, and washing your face often makes the floor full of water. The table can be checked-in at three o'clock. When the time arrived, there was still no key in the post box. Later, they called and replied that they had not cleaned it. During the process of living, some spare parts were used up, and they were made up the next day, but the more troublesome thing was that the person who came to make up did not have a key and needed to make an appointment with the tenant. In addition, pay attention to airbnb can't store luggage, you have to find a nearby store to pay for it.

I booked the cheapest twin room on the 26th floor, offering a direct view of the Bell Tower from above. The room was incredibly spacious, probably over 50 square meters, and even had a bathtub. While the furniture was quite basic, the front desk service was absolutely excellent. I also visited the gym. The building itself is a former Sydney Post Office, so many people come to take photos. There are even two free daily tours about the building, but I didn't have time to join. Overall, staying here was a great experience. It definitely gave off a 'old money' vibe.

We stayed for 8 nights with our 3-year-old toddler, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Location: Perfect. We walked easily from the train station after arriving from Sydney Airport. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour, about 15 minutes to Wildlife Sydney and SEA LIFE, and right next to Darling Square park. Plus, Coles, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, and everything else we needed were just minutes away. Room layout: We booked a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, balcony, large kitchen, and lovely bathroom. The space was huge – ideal for a family. The dining table was a real bonus, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was able to cook breakfast and dinner for our toddler each day, so we didn’t have to eat out every night. That saved us time, money, and hassle. Service: Housekeeping came almost every day, and the customer service from the entire team was fantastic – everyone was so friendly and helpful. If you’re travelling with a young child and want space, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere, I would absolutely recommend Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel. We’ll be back!

Overall, it's okay, but the facilities are not as good as other Meriton properties, perhaps because it's an older one. The mandatory credit card policy isn't great, as you have to pay extra credit card service fees! This wouldn't be an issue with cash, but Meriton only accepts credit cards. We absolutely loved our stay at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour. Waking up to the city views and proximity to a close harbour run every morning and seeing the city lights at night was such a treat. The bed was so comfortable that we looked forward to returning after a full day of exploring Sydney. The location couldn’t have been better. We could easily walk to restaurants, shopping, attractions, and public transport, yet the hotel still felt like a peaceful retreat after a busy day. The absolute highlight was the Saturday night fireworks over Darling Harbour. Watching the fireworks light up the harbour from the hotel was simply magical and became one of our favourite memories of the trip. If you’re staying over a Saturday, don’t miss it! The hotel is located in Darling Harbour, just a 5-minute walk from the aquarium, zoo, and Madame Tussauds. The room clearly shows its age, but the unparalleled balcony view makes up for it, and it's spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but there are plenty of fruit and bread options, fresh juice, and a good variety of coffee. The staff are very friendly and engaging! **Highlights 🤩**: There's a water and ice dispenser on every floor, available 24/7. We didn't need to buy any water during our stay, and you can choose between water, half ice, or full ice 🧊. **Pros**: Excellent location, incredible ocean views, and the service quality of a seasoned five-star hotel is definitely still present. **Cons**: The room facilities are a bit dated, and the soundproofing isn't great. This was our family's first trip to Australia and our first accommodation. The staff at Swissôtel Sydney were friendly, but it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't check in immediately when we arrived at the hotel around 2 PM. We were able to check in after waiting for about an hour, and the room was very comfortable and clean. The view wasn't bad either; I could see Sydney Tower when I looked up, and St Mary's Cathedral in the distance. I liked that the bathroom was spacious, had a bathtub, and was clean. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning could also be used for heating. The best part was the location. The location was incredibly convenient for getting to major attractions, and there were bus, tram, and subway stations all nearby. We could even walk to the Opera House, and there were many amenities like shopping malls and restaurants in the vicinity. In particular, the meeting point for the zoo tour was right across the street from the hotel, which was perfect since we had to gather early in the morning. I have a very positive impression of Swissôtel and would consider staying there again.

They offer free bicycle rentals, which is a nice touch, and the food in the restaurant is especially delicious. HOWEVER, and this is a big however, the pool is tiny. One afternoon, we specifically went back to the hotel to swim, only to be told they were doing a wedding photoshoot and to wait 15 minutes. On the first day of my stay, an Indian guy was at the front desk. I arrived at 1 PM and was told check-in was at 3 PM, which is a standard policy and fine. However, for some reason, they assigned me room 417, a City View Opera House room. As soon as I heard the number, I had a bad feeling, and when I entered the room, I almost cried. The view was completely blocked, and next door was a fire equipment room. I tried to communicate with Ctrip to change rooms, but after an hour and a half, there was no progress. I went to the lobby myself to sort it out and luckily found Marco, a Chinese customer service manager. Thank goodness! Not only was communication seamless, but he also patiently helped me secure a higher-floor city view room for the next day. Even though it cost a little extra, I gladly accepted. This was my second time staying at the Shangri-La Sydney. My first stay was perfect, so I didn't expect to encounter so many unexpected issues this time. Thankfully, Marco resolved everything. After the first day, I thought I'd never stay at the Shangri-La again, but Marco's help truly compensated for the disappointment. Plus, I ordered room service four or five times, and the food was delicious! 👍 I specifically wrote this lengthy review for future Chinese guests staying at the Shangri-La; their entire Chinese team at the hotel is superb, so feel free to communicate with them!

There's plenty of places to eat and drink. Plus the location is central to the tourist attractions. Room was big enough for a couple. I requested to have a shower chair as I'm disabled and it was provided for me. We had 2 double beds. Mine was too soft but my husband's was ok for him. Just bare in mind that nothing is cheap. We are not big eaters so 1 main meal was big enough for the 2 of us. We spent 3 nights there. I would do it all again. One place that we kept going to for a light breakfast was G&Tea. The coffee was great! We found that the food was great and not expensive.

Cleaniness is bad as the room is very dusty. My kids have sensitive nose and they non stop sneezing plus runny nose as long as they are in the hotel. Surprisingly the sneezing and runny nose stopped when we went outside of the room despite the cold weather. Location is awesome. Very centralise and convenient to everywhere. No toothbrush and toothpaste given. Not too sure whether it is only upon request but we got our own. Not really into the bathroom design as it just flooded the whole floor whenever we bath which i prefer my bathroom floor to be drier.

Overall, the stay was great value for money. The CBD location is fantastic, perfectly situated for public transport to get around the city easily. If you love exploring on foot like I do, almost everything is within walking distance. The only major downside was that the elevator was broken during my stay. I had to carry my luggage all the way up to the third floor. It ended up being a great cardio workout for me, though I did have to stop at every floor to catch my breath! While I laughed it off, it could definitely be a frustrating issue for others.

I was not expecting this sort of cleanliness from this hotel but they did better than my expectation. Shared Facilities like bathroom and toilets were also very clean and tidy. Location were amazing just a 1 min walk from the train station and close proximity to few attractions of Sydney CBD.

· **Cleanliness beyond expectations:** Many older hotels have questionable carpets, but this one has faux wood flooring, so you can walk barefoot without getting dusty. The bathroom was free of mold, and the towels were pristine white and thick, which is better than many four-star hotels. · **24-hour front desk:** This is crucial when traveling internationally. I checked in smoothly at midnight, and they even helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than Uber. · **Good sleep:** The window faced an inner courtyard, so it was very quiet at night. The mattress was a bit firm (common in European three-star hotels), but they provided one large and one small pillow, so I was able to adjust.

I stayed at The Jensens and while the location is undeniably ideal, close to everything you need and in a vibrant, convenient area, the stay was let down by a major issue. The soundproofing isn’t great, with doors frequently slamming throughout the property. However, given that it’s a hostel-style accommodation, this was something we were able to accept and move past. What wasn’t acceptable, though, was the presence of rats in the walls and ceiling above our room. We were woken multiple times each night by loud scratching and scurrying noises, which was extremely unsettling and made it very difficult to sleep. We also have audio recordings that clearly capture the extent of the problem. It’s a real shame, as the location is fantastic, but this issue seriously impacted our stay. I would strongly recommend that management address the pest problem as a priority.

Central Studio Hotel Sydney has a great location — close to the CBD, Chinatown, and main Sydney attractions like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic facilities. The room view and window view were nice, giving a good city outlook. The bathroom was clean and modern. The lobby area looked pleasant and had comfortable seating with space to work while waiting. We arrived early around 9 am, though the check-in time was 3 pm, so it’s better for guests to check this beforehand. The front desk team was friendly and arranged early check-in around 12:30–1 pm. There are several small shops and food options nearby, which was convenient. Overall, a good stay and a nice place to explore Sydney. (Room view, bathroom, lobby, and window view photos attached.)
